She only hasn’t had anything to do with writing or composing 4 songs out of their discography sooo when will your fave ever? Good news is, I have now officially written more in September than I did in August. Not that August was in any way hard to beat but we’ll keep that aside for now and focus on the positive.

This weekend has been exactly what I needed and so much fun but before I left for the weekend in a chalet with almost my entire class, I needed to get through some more homework on Friday. And I did just that. I woke up after sleeping in just a little and got going on the readings. I also had to get eveything ready for the trip so all day long I alternated between finishing up school work and getting ready to leave. At 5:40pm, once I was done with everything that needed to be done and once I was showered and all ready to leave, my new class friend came around and we drove to our other friend’s place. From there, we picked up some food and snacks and alcohol and we drove the almost 2 hours to get to the chalet.

Once there, we got to settle in our room. We were sharing it the 3 of us. Then, we started to sip on some alcohol and the evening got going. We caught up with everyone, danced and shitload and bounded with people we never thought we would bound with. It was a great evening filled with laughs and games and fun and we went to bed at past 4am.

On Saturday, we obviously slept in. We got woken up by someone screaming that there was only 15 minutes left for breakfast. At least they had thought of everything. There was eggs and baccon and toast and coffee and gaterade. Everything you might need. That helped us get the day started. In the early afternoon, we went on the smallest hike ever around the place and then we sat down outside to chill for a while. We ended our afternoon with a little spa with some people from our class and then took a nap before getting started for another evening.

This time, after having played games and eating dinner, we started to drink again but it was a lot more soft. We played some more games and stayed seated just chatting. Our class ended up being the ones staying up the latest just chatting in the common area and bounding. It was actually so nice I could not have asked for better.

We went to bed near 3:30am again and this time my cought kept me awake for a while. Waking up feeling more sick than ever on Sunday was hard but it was sunny and the drive didn’t seem too bad. So, after eating breakfast and saying goobye to everyone, we got going. It was 2pm by the time I finally got home. The flat was empty so I just read and watched videos. My roommate came back as I was eating so we ate together. I took it easy in the evening and didn’t go to bed too late.

Waking up this morning, I still felt like shit. I got ready for my day and read for a while before my brain couldn’t take anything anymore. My roommate was sick too leaving us both chilling on our asses in the living room. At some point, our other roommate who’d been gone 2 weeks now came back. We caught up as I ate lunch and then I had to get to class.

By then I was feeling better so it wasn’t too bad. The class was short since it was just presentations from our classmates. We took advantage of this at the end to get started on a teamwork. It doesn’t seem too bad so far.

I got back to the flat feeling tired. I ate dinner with my roommate while catching up some more and now I’ve just been getting things done. I will be going in the shower soon and taking it easy for the rest of the evening since my weekend is still affecting me. It was definitly worth it though.
