Wow, Duolingo, way to rub this failed holiday in my face 🙄
Context: today was the start of our four-day stay at Hall’s Gap, a little town in the Grampians. However, some idiot set a fire in the national park on a high fire danger day, and we had to leave Hall’s Gap for our safety.
Just your usual summer in Victoria /sar
We found new accomodation elsewhere (east of where the fire’s headed), and Duo decides to give me this to translate.
Well played, Duo. Well played.
