From @propagandopolis
'The Blacksmith of German Unity' — German print showing Bismarck as a blacksmith handing a sword to Germania. Bismarck's dog Tyras (the so-called Reichshund) is sat between them.
The design was adapted from a painting by Guido Phillip Schmitt that was widely reproduced on prints and postcards (and even a window) in Germany in the late 19th century.
Bismarck pictured with his dogs "Tyras II" (gifted to him by Kaiser Wilhelm II after Tyras' death in 1889) and Rebecca in 1891.
