So you like to throw stones at passing cyclists? Prepare for the fright of your young life.

Reposting this here because I wrongly posted it in /ProRevenge and it got removed.

This happened around 2010. I was cycling around Harringey, Green Lanes where I lived at the time. The area is gentrified now but at the time it was considered to be a bit rough by London standards. Those familiar with the area know that there are narrow alleyways that connect up all the side roads, off of Green Lanes.

So as I'm cycling, I pass one of these alleyways and see a group of rowdy kids messing around inside the alley. There are four of them, aged maybe 11-12 and they are making alot of noise, as kids do. As I cycle past, they go all quiet. I turn my head and catch one of them throwing a stone at me, which bounces off my back. This is followed by an explosion of laughter and jeering. Now, I remember being a kid, and the lengths that kids go to to entertain their friends. To be honest, I wasn't even that mad. But in that moment I decide to make this a teachable moment for the little bastard, and to make sure that he will never forget me.

So I pretend to lose my mind. I toss my bike to the road, turn and sprint at them full-speed, to quickly cover the 10-15 meters between us. At the same time, I scream in a pretend rage and wind my arm back, like I'm about to deliver a WWE haymaker and end a young life or two. They barely have time to register what's going on. Three of them scatter like cockroaches, but the one who threw the stone freezes in his tracks. He kind of just collapses against a wall with his arms outstreched, babbling and begging for mercy. I put my face right next to his and whisper "I'm only joking kid". The kid blinks for a second, and then promptly starts to wail loudly, like he's carrying the burden of the world on his little shoulders. I walked away feeling like I had done the world a small service.

What are your thoughts? Was this justified, or too much?

That’s crazy. 🙊♥️ I think I changed so much. Or let’s say evolved. 😅 Looking back at old pictures I can’t believe I was this person. Do you feel the same?Anyways, here are 7 random facts about me in a chronological order: 1. I finished school in 2012 which sounds super long ago if you’re still in school but I promise, time flies afterwards. 😅 I started studying right after my “Abitur”. 2. Picking INSURANCE BUSINESS as a major surely wasn’t the best choice I made in my life. 😂 But it taught me a valuable lesson. At the first day in the company (Duales Studium), I knew I was gonna quit after 1 semester. So I did. I saved all the money I earned and went to London ASAP. 💶✈️🎡🇬🇧 I followed MY dreams instead of my parents’ expectations and looking back, this was probably the best decision I’ve ever made. 3. In March 2013, I moved to London all by myself. I was 18 years old and made friends very fast in a hostel I stayed at for almost 2 months because it was so hard to find a flat in London. 🤪 I worked at Piccadilly Institute (a night club) + a pub in Harringey layer. That's where I improved my English a lot. 4. Coming home after 6 months was hard because I loved England and I still miss it sometimes. 😢 Nevertheless, it was time to move on. I studied International Business Management in English. In a small German town in the Black Forest. 🌲 Business English was my favourite subject. My teacher was Scottish and I might or might not have been her favourite student. 🤓😅🇬🇧 I learned so many useful things like negotiation, writing formal emails and academic writing. 5. During my studies, I spent 4 months in China and 4 months in Belgrade, Serbia. I wrote blog posts about both countries. 6. In 2017, I handed in my bachelor thesis and decided to turn my passion (Instagram) into a business somehow.
