Chiho Saito’s 1999 Revolutionary Girl Utena Original Illustration Collection
IT’S HERE. IT’S DONE. IT’S FINISHED. NOW…IT’S YOURS. Happy Holidays, my friends.
Tumblr media
Vanna here! I have posted some already about this project, and the responses I got, public and otherwise, have been absolutely incredible. Y’all have been reblogging and hyping this before it even finished…I haven’t felt so encouraged about an Utena project since the musicals! (Yes, streams soon, I promise.) You can read the other post to get more details, and catch my post here with more details about the process if you’re interested. The long and short of it?
This is the first artbook I ever scanned. I did it in 2001. In Photoshop, using multiple scans per page that took hours to process. But it was 2001. A half megabyte file that was 1250px wide was considered extremely hardcore and impressive. That’s just always been the business I’m in when it comes to Utena art, you know?
It’s now the latest artbook I’ve scanned, and so much of the process, and effort involved, is unchanged. What has changed, is the result. Welcome to your new desktop background. Your new phone background. Your new poster print.
Tumblr media
What I’ve done here is attempt to create definitive digitized images of Chiho Saito’s work as offered by this book--I have removed the print moiré of the original scans, and used my literal decades of experience to try and tease out as much information from them as possible. Without being physically in front of the original artwork (which is a thing I’ve had the great fortune to get to do) this is The Most Chiho Saito you are ever going to get. I’ve tried my best to make sure there is a way to get it that works for everyone:
Do you just wanna scope 'em out? Look at some disaster gays? Grab your favorite one or two? This is the path for you! Check out the ‘compressed’ (not very) 10k ‘web friendly’ (not really) copy at the Bibliothèque, the media archiving wing of the Something Eternal forums at Empty Movement*. All the following links are also available from here. Do you want these copies? All of them? Don't just grab them individually, friend. This batch is 375MB and can be downloaded as a zip of the individual files here on our Google Drive.
Do you like digital archiving? Are you looking for a copy that preserves the archival quality of the effort but sits nice and comfy in a single file? This is for you. A minimally compressed 10k, 513MB version worked into a PDF is now up, shiny and chrome, on the Internet Archive. Do you like the idea of the minimal compression, but want the individual files in a zip? Yep I did that too, here's the drive link.
Are you looking to print these in a larger size? This is probably the only reason on Earth you’d ever want them, and yet a bunch of you are going to go straight for these. Here are the zero-compression JPG full size copies, most of them are 15k across, like simply a ridiculous size. Pick your fave and download it from our Google Drive!
I am genuinely really proud of this work.** I was able to tease out so much new detail from these…her incredible layering techniques, the faintest brush of her highlights, and the full range of her delicate hand at whites and blacks… details commonly lost in digitization. I sincerely hope you find something here that you’re looking for, as an artist looking for inspiration, as a weeb looking for a desktop, as an archiver excited to see incredible 90s manga artwork saved forever in the digital realm. I feel like I have already said so much about them, and could keep going, but you know what? This work speaks for itself. Enjoy, use, explore, and definitely tell us what you think!
We love y’all. ~ Vanna & Yasha
* AHEM ASTERISK AHEM
You might be wondering what any of that is. Something Eternal? Biblewhatawhat??? EmptyMovement.com? You might even have done a double take at the word ‘forum.’ And you should!!!
I have a confession. This artbook was my ‘side project’ as I worked on this, *the main project.* For a couple years I’ve been banging around with a new domain, and originally I had other plans for it, but Elon Musk ruined my Twitter and Discord is well along on its way to enshittification, and well….we joke on the Discord a lot about ‘reject modernity, embrace forums’ and you know what? We’re right. So Yasha and I are putting our money where our mouths are once again, and doing something insane. We are launching, in 2023, a website forum. Obviously, this is not the official ‘launch’ per se, but I cannot announce the artbook without directing you to the forum, since it sits on the attached very cool gallery system. Oops! Told on myself. Another post more focused on the forum will be forthcoming, but if you are just that motivated to get in right away, you absolutely can! (This will help stagger new arrivals anyway, which is good for us!) If you would rather wait for the ‘official’ launch, by all means that’s coming, including a lengthy screed about how and why we’re doing this. In either case, remember: this is a couple weebs trying to make internet magic happen, we are not website developers by trade. Give us grace as we iron things out and grow into this cool new website thingie…hopefully along with some of you! :D
If you do join up, naturally, there is a thread about this project!
** If you like this kind of content, consider helping us pay for it! We do have a Patreon! If you’re wanting to use these in some public-facing distributive way, all we ask is for credit back to Empty Movement (ohtori.nu or emptymovement.com, either will work.)
I would like to say ‘don’t just slap these files on RedBubble to get easy money’ but I know that saying this won’t effectively prevent it. Y’all that do that suck, but you’re not worth letting it rain on the rest of this parade. :)

Kairo
So I need to blog about Kairo, because the computers and tunnels post reminded me of this strange and beautiful game.
Kairo is what I can only describe as a surreal Brutalist walking sim puzzler. Yes, as in “the more conk they crete, the more Brutalismer it is” Brutalism. I hope you like concrete textures and cubes because Kairo has a lot of that. It’s also among the handful of games that I think have irreversibly altered my brain chemistry (positive).
Kairo came out in 2013, so I wasn’t that young and impressionable at the time, but something in this game definitely struck a chord with me. It’s relaxed, contemplative, minimalistic. Scenic despite the simplicity of it, calming despite the starkness around you. Take a look at the Steam page linked above for some screenshots to get a sense of the visual style. (I used to have a bunch of screenshots I used for desktop backgrounds at one time but they seem to have vanished, so I unfortunately am not including images in this post.)
It’s a lot of simple, geometric, Brutalism-adjacent structures in various coloured light washes. But it’s... pretty in its own way. I think this was the piece of media that helped me come around to this sort of aesthetic. Previously, like the computers-and-tunnels post, I liked a grungier, more complicated feel to my industrial spaces, a la the Half-Life games. Bit Kairo... Kairo was serene.
The sound design, too, reflects this calm starkness of everything. The soundtrack is super ambient and synthy, usually calming and occasionally spooky. There are only two tracks I could even say come close to being “intense,” those being the menu theme and one particular area that seems designed to put you a bit on edge. The artist Wounds does a great job of conveying the empty, otherworldly vistas of Kairo. (It’s great reading music, too. Check it out here.)
I was rapt when I first found it, though it certainly helped that a favourite YouTuber at the time was how I discovered it. (Playlist here, KurtJMac’s run is commentated but he’s pretty lowkey overall.)
The puzzles range from extremely simple perspective/movement puzzles to moderately challenging password puzzles, excluding two notably obtuse examples - one where you have to memorize a series of notes and play them back in a room very far away, and another that (ideally) requires you to collaborate with other players to reveal the whole solution. Both of these thankfully are optional, and can be looked up online now that the game has been out for ages. Both, I believe, are also required for the game’s secret (not “true”) ending.
I’m not sure what else to say other than give it a try/watch it. I really cant recommend it enough, honestly. It’s very cheap on Steam and isn’t terribly long, complicated, or hardware-demanding. (Though if you do play it, I recommend turning off the visual-noise filter in the settings. It’s easier to look at and looks better without it.) Kairo is less a game and more a powerful vibe, I guess? It’s a walking sim with some puzzles in it, but it has a very unique feel to it. On reflection I think it’s due for a comeback; it has a lot of the “liminal space” feel that internetizens seem to be going nuts for lately, but predates it all by a clean decade.
It’s near and dear to my heart, and a game I come back to every now and then for a chill pick-me-up.

Brower Electric - Commit #0: Figma
Hello internet. I've been taking a web development class and we are now working on our final project for the semester. We are making a website for an electrical contracting company named Brower Electric. If the owners of the company like our website best, they will use it live. It's an opportunity to show our skills and get a great starting project for our resumes.
Brower Electric is a longstanding family-owned general electrical contracting business that specializes in commercial electrical jobs, but has experience in industrial and residential too.
They wanted a simple, attractive, professional page that kept consistent coloring. They wanted contact information, project information, resume submission, and testimonials front-and-center.
I used Figma to do my design work. It's a simple, browser-based online design tool that uses frames and layers.
I would have produced multiple wireframes/mockups to move together towards a design if I had more interview opportunities with the client.
I designed/wireframed for the desktop, but I will use Bootstrap 5 when I write the HTML and CSS which is built mobile-up. This may be an oversight but I learn best by experiencing the consequences of my actions.
Home Page - Front Facade:
Tumblr media
The first thing when you see the page will be a carousel that switches through cards that display testimonials. By using a grey background on the cards, I help keep color variety to a minimum. Because neutral colors don't count.
I kept a simple solid background that matches the logo. Simple and consistent, per the client's request.
The navbar has a Call Now button in bold red to funnel users towards contact with the client. The navbar will be sticky so it is always visible. I used a lighter blue for the background, just dragging the color picker from the body/logo color until it was something attractive
The logo was hand-drawn. I used a web tool to remove the background and nested the company name in it.
There is also another contact button specifically for quotes. This will also funnel users to contact. It will not collapse on mobile so it will be a useful way to contact the company with only a small scroll. No toggling required.
Home Page:
Tumblr media
The next section of the homepage goes over the types of services offered. The blank spaces will be stock images related to the heading on the other side of the tree. On mobile, the text will overlay on the image, they will stack in one column, and there will be no tree.
I made a point to include that they were family-owned, established, as well as Licensed Bonded and Insured. This builds customer confidence in the business.
I will likely use a Bootstrap Grid to build this section.
Tumblr media
I will also use cards to display the current projects. They will stack on mobile. The current projects gives an idea of the contractors workload as well as what the staff is freshly-trained to do.
The simple footer on the bottom provides contact info and a nav on the bottom for user-friendliness.
About Us:
Tumblr media
The about us page is simple and straightforward, because that's how these folks run their business. A past projects accordion will be a space-efficient way to include all their projects (there are a lot, these guys have been in the biz for decades.)
Tumblr media
Contact Us:
Tumblr media
I decided to display the contact information on cards in the contact us page. The large central card serves as a general directory on what number to call to get things done quickly. I left the former owner on the site, but excluded his contact information. People looking for Mike Brower's company now know that it is still in business, this is it's website, and that Mike is retired.
Donald doesn't like to be contacted directly. So I put a message on his card to funnel contact through someone else first.
Careers:
Tumblr media
This page is a simple form submission for a resume. It is very bare bones because the client requested something simple that just lets him do a quick initial screen and initiate contact himself.
They are always hiring for different positions so the user must specify what kind of job title they are looking for.
Conclusion:
Designing this site was fun! I don't really consider myself a creative so building something like this was a great confidence booster. I feel very confident in my ability to code this website for 2 reasons: first, I have built very similar things before, such as the glamourscreens website I built earlier this semester; second, most everything I have included in this website has extensive support included in Bootstrap 5.
This feels like some of my best work yet, and I feel confident that it is something the client will be very pleased with too.

💻 Laptop Computer 💻
Do you own a laptop? I do. It's nearly a decade old now and works for only an hour when charger-free, but it's my baby all the same.
Are you on a laptop right now? Yup.
How many laptop computers have you owned in your lifetime? This has been my first and only one that was gotten for me specifically. The laptop I used in high school had been my dad's.
What color was your first laptop? This laptop is silver.
What color is your current laptop? It's the same laptop.
🖥 Desktop Computer 🖥
Do you own a desktop computer? No. I used one in school, but I never owned one.
Do you prefer Windows computers or Mac computers? Apple.
What were your favorite computer games to play as a kid? What are your favorite computer games now? There was a website called Y8 that had all these flash games and my sister and I were on that damn site every single day for a few hours. Anyway, I don't play any computer games currently.
Which do you use more: a computer or a phone? 📱 Phone.
Are you good at remembering passwords for websites, or do you always forget? I'm not, so I always have the remember password option turned on. I'm not into the idea of noting my passwords down on my phone either, because I'd be fucked the moment I misplace my phone or if it gets stolen.
What is your current computer desktop background? It's BTS smiling.
Do you have a desk job? I guess you can say that. I work from home, but yes I do work at my desk for all 8 hours of it.
What were some of your favorite websites as a kid? What are some of your favorite websites now? I liked looking at people's profiles on Friendster, mainly because I was not allowed to have an account and that was my way of pretending I was a part of that website hahaha. I was also already on Twitter back in like 2009 and it's always been one of my favorites, although I have more of a love-hate relationship with it now tbh.
These days, my favorites would be YouTube and Reddit.
Were you alive before the Internet was invented?  I sure wasn't.
How many tabs do you have open on your computer right now? 6.
⌨️ Computer Keyboard ⌨️
Are you a fast typer? I am. I've gotten a few reactions before haha.
Do you enjoy typing on a keyboard? Yes. Typing can be fun when you know how to do it fast.
Have you ever used a typewriter? I've seen a typewriter, but have never used one.
Do you own a typewriter? Nope.
What color are the keys on your computer's keyboard? They would be black.
🖨 Printer 🖨
Do you own a printer? We do, but I hardly use it because bluetooth is so fucking tricky lmao.
What was the last thing you printed off? It was like an authorization letter thingy my workplace provided to allow my hospital to administer a physical exam on me.
Have you ever printed anything off in a library? More times than I can count – we didn't have a printer at home when I was in high school and college. In a way it helped me become more disciplined, since no printer meant I had to finish papers and stuff a day before a deadline to have them printed out on time.
Do you prefer to use black ink or colored ink? Black. Having to print anything colored stresses me out because it's like what if it runs out of ink in the middle of printing ahaha??
Do you know how to change the ink in a printer? No, it's something I never learned how to do lol.
🖱Computer Mouse🖱
Can you see the computer mouse emoji? 🖱 Hardly.
Do you wonder why they made this emoji, when it's hard to see because it's white? I mean it'll only be a bitch if your background is white, so I don't see much of a problem.
Do you own a computer mouse? Yeah. I won one at a company Christmas raffle 2 or 3 years ago but have just never gotten around to using it.
Do you use a computer mouse? Nope. I prefer a trackpad sooooooooo much more.
If you own one, what color is your computer mouse?
Do you prefer to use a mouse or a trackpad? Trackpad. Having everything inches from each other helps me a lot.
Have you ever used the computer mouse emoji? I don't think so.
💾 Floppy Disk 💾
Have you ever saved anything onto a floppy disk? I've never used a floppy disk.
Do you own any floppy disks? Nope. The only thing going for me with floppy disks is that I'm old enough to remember them, but not to have used them.
When was the last time you used a floppy disk? I never used one.
What are three things you like (besides floppy disks) that are floppy? Idk...slime? Oh my beagle's ears! Hahaha. I can't think of a third one.
Have you ever cried because you lost something that you had saved onto a floppy disk? Nope.
💿 Compact Disc 💿
Have you ever burned a CD? I didn't, because again I wasn't old enough to have been doing it regularly; but I remember Andi making me a mixtape when we were in Grade 5. That'd be my one and only experience with a burned CD.
Have you ever made a mix CD? I didn't, but a friend had done it for me.
Have you ever done a craft project using old CDs? I don't remember ever doing so.
Do you own any CDs still? Yes. I've kept all my Beyoncé albums around, although it's only up until self-titled since I was never able to find physicals for Lemonade and Renaissance.
Then of course there's BTS, so since I collect merch I have since grown a good number of their physical albums. I'm just missing the stuff for 2016-2019.
What was the last CD you listened to? Do albums on Spotify count since I never listen to CDs anymore? Hahaha...it would be Hope on the Street.
What was the first CD that you purchased? Camp Rock OST lol
💽 CD in Plastic Case 💽
Did you burn CDs and then put them in a plastic case? I never burned CDs.
Do you own any plastic CD cases? Just the ones my older albums go in.
Have you ever written on a CD with a permanent marker? Nope.
Have you ever used this emoji? The one in this section? No.
Do you still own any of the mix tapes or mix CDs you made when you were younger? I don't think I have the mixtape Andi gave me anymore.
📼 VHS Tape 📼
Do you own any VHS tapes? I don't think we've kept them.
Did you used to watch movies on VHS tapes when you were younger? I didn't reach those anymore, but I'm sure my parents did. They ran a short-lived business selling VHS tapes.
Do you remember the orange Nickelodeon tapes? No.
Do you have any home videos that are on tapes? Yes :) They are my absolute favorite to look back on and I'm so glad my dad had that kind of foresight to...vlog his kids growing up haha.
Do you own a VCR? No.
Do you remember having to rewind VHS tapes? Nope.
📞 Telephone ☎️
Do you remember a time before cellphones? Tbh no. By the time I was 5 my parents both had phones and before that my memory's pretty much hazy.
How old were you when you got your first cellphone? I was 7. It was 2005 and I got a Sony Ericsson flip phone.
Do you work in an office with a telephone? Each desk has a telephone, yes; but there isn't a lot of opportunity to use them since I work from home.
Do you have a home phone or just a cellphone? I have a cellphone, but at home we also have a landline still. My grandma prefers calling us that way as she's always refused to own a phone, so we keep it around.
Do you still remember your home phone number from when you were growing up? Yes.
Have you ever made a prank call? No.
📠 Fax Machine 📠
Do you own a fax machine? Never. I only ever saw faxes in hotels lol but I think even they got rid of those now.
Have you ever worked in an office with a fax machine? Nope.
Have you ever owned a fax machine? We never had one at home.
Have you ever used this emoji? Nopes.
What are three things you like that rhyme with "fax"? The sound of the sax, time to relax...and that's all I can think of really.
🗄 Filiing Cabinet 🗃
Do you own a filing cabinet? My family does in general. We have this tiny drawer that houses all of our important documents like passports and birth certs.
Do you enjoy organizing things? It's fun when I do it, but as a whole no because I'm terrible at maintaining.
Are you a very organized person? At work, to a fault. In real life, eh it depends on my mood.
Is there an office in your home? Nope. My room is my work station.
When was the last time you shopped at Office Max? We don't have that but I also can't remember the last time I was at an office supplies store. Safe to assume years ago.
What was the last thing you bought at Office Max? That's lost on me now.
🗂 Manila Folders 🗂
Do you own any manila folders? We should have a few here at home.
Do you organize your computer files into folders? Absolutely.
Did you ever use Lisa Frank folders for school when you were a kid? No, we couldn't afford those. I wasn't a fan of the style anyway so it didn't feel like I was missing out.
Do you still own any of the colorful folders you used to use for school when you were a kid? Nope.
What are three things you have stored in folders (in real life, not on a computer)? Documents, activity sheets for school, and if we are counting binders – photocards haha.
📌 Thumbtack 📌
How many bulletin boards are there in your home? I just have one – mine.
Have you ever spray-painted a bulletin board, and if yes, what color? No.
Do you own a set of colorful thumbtacks? I know I do, someone had given me a pack for Christmas back when I was still in my corkboard phase haha. I just wouldn't be able to tell you where it is right now.
If you own a bulletin board, what are three things you have pinned on it? I don't use mine anymore.
Have you ever stepped on a thumbtack? No, thank god.
✂️ Scissors ✂️
How many pairs of scissors do you own? We have around 3-4 pairs at home.
Have you ever ran with scissors? Probably, but I always do it cautiously and holding it from the blades.
What color are your favorite pair of craft scissors, if applicable? Whatever man, as long as it gets the job done.
What color are your hair-cutting scissors, if applicable? I don't cut my hair.
Do you cut your own hair? 💇♀️ ^ There you go.
Do you have a special pair of scissors that you use to open boxes? 📦✂️ No, but I just use a cutter lol
Do you have different pairs of scissors that you use for different things? Just scissors and cutters.
What color was the last pair of scissors you used? What was the last thing you used a pair of scissors for? I can't recall the color anymore, but it was to open a box of products to sort out for work.
Do you know how to do a scissor kick? I can try but I would like 98% fail.
When was the last time you did a scissor kick? I've never done one hahaha.
🧷 Safety Pin 🧷
When was the last time you used a safety pin? Sometime last year when I needed to pin my top from the back because it was too loose.
Have you ever used this emoji? I doubt I have.
What was the last thing you used a safety pin for? Oh, I touched on it already haha.
Have you ever ran a race and had a number pinned to your shirt? No. But for work I've needed to be the person who was linking the pins to the bibs so everyone can put it on their shirts lol.
Do you own a box of safety pins? I don't think we do, actually.
📎 Paper Clips 🖇
When was the last time you used a paperclip? January when I was fixing some contracts for work.
What was the last thing you used a paperclip for? Damn I really need to stop overexplaining LOL
Do you remember Clippit, the Microsoft Word paperclip? 📎👀💬 I do but only because of memes and stuff. I never encountered it from our family computer.
Have you ever received a piece of advice from Clippit? Nope.
Do you own a box of paperclips? Nope.
📏 Rulers 📐
Do you own a ruler? We probably have one somewhere.
How many rulers do you own? None that I can call my own.
What was the last thing you used a ruler? When was the last time you used one? I honestly can't remember.
Do you know how to draw a straight line without using a ruler? Depends, but probably not. If I'm drawing on paper, I'd fold it so it makes a dent, but even then I doubt it would be perfectly straight.
What does your favorite ruler that you own look like? I don't have a 'favorite ruler' lol, but when I was a kid I like those rulers that came with shape outlines that you can trace so you could draw like a perfect square or heart or whatever.
🖊 Pen 🖊
Do you prefer to write with pens or pencils? Pens. Easier to handle.
What color ink pen do you write with the most? Black.
Where do you normally buy pens? I'd go to the local bookstore chain.
What was the last thing you wrote down? I was logging in as a guest at Bea's condo.
Do you enjoy writing? Do you enjoy how it feels as your hand glides across the page? ✍️ I like writing. My wrist just gets tired too quickly so I don't do it a lot, but when I'm in my element I definitely enjoy how passionate I can get.
🗑 Trash Can 🗑
What do you call a trash can? Do you call it a trash can, wastebasket, rubbish bin, garbage can, or something else? I call it a trash can, the trash, or the Filipino word for it.
Do you need to take the trash out soon? Nah, not so much a need for it yet.
What day is trash pick-up day in your city? Monday, if I'm not mistaken.
Are there things you are holding onto that you probably should just throw away? There are some I can think of, yes.
When was the last time you took the trash out? A few days ago. My sister and I alternate.
📋 Clipboard 📋
Do you own a clipboard? I used to.
When was the last time you had to sign a paper that was attached to a clipboard? Long long long ago. I want to say college.
Have you ever held a clipboard just to make yourself look more official? No, but I am reminded by someone who'd do this haha.
Do you have neat handwriting? Yeah. I get complimented on it fairly regularly so I guess it must be nice to some extent.
Would you rather write in cursive or print? Print.
📆 Calendar 📅
What is today's date? April 20th.
How many months are there until your birthday? 🥳 24 hours.
How old will you turn on your next birthday? This
Do you have a calendar on your wall? If so, what is this month's calendar picture? I have a 2023 BTS calendar on disply, but I never updated it after June lol.
Are you counting down the days to anything? I'm counting down the hours til my birthday!
What is your favorite season? We don't have the four easons.
🗒 Spiral Notepad 🗒
When was the last time you used a spiral notepad? Can I answer for notebook instead? I can't even remember the last time I used a spiral notepad lol. Anyway, for notebook – a few months ago when I felt like writing a poem.
Do you own a spiral notepad? Still for notebook. I do – it's my (former) college notebook. Back in college I had this notebook that had 5983738573948 pages in them because I thought I was gonna be scribbling down notes in every single class. Well some classes I took ended up not being note-heavy, so I was left with a notebook that was only half-filled haha.
A few years after graduating I ripped out all the pages that had lessons in them so it could feel like a new notebook again. I use it every now and then in case I feel like writing.
Would you rather write or draw? ✍️ Write.
Do you make to-do lists? I have a spreadsheet I use absolutely religiously for my work to-do list.
What are/were three items on your to-do list for today? I needed to finish a press release that I'd been holding off all week; finish a post-event report deck; and review a couple of videos produced by someone we outsourced so we could send it to a client for their sign-off.
What is something you did yesterday (or today) that you really enjoyed? Played looooooots and lots and lots of Rhythm Hive.
What is something that you've been putting off, if there's anything? Dyeing my hair purple again.
Are you thankful that your life story is still being written? Yes. I'm turning 26, so I'm only in like season 2 of Friends haha. I've got time.
⏰ Alarm Clock ⏰
What time do you usually wake up in the morning? Anywhere between 7:30 - 8:30 AM.
Is your bed made right now? Not perfectly. I didn't prop up the pillows properly since I was in a hurry to get to work.
Do you wake up to an alarm, or do you wake up naturally? I wake up naturally. Alarms don't wake me 80% of the time :/
Do you normally follow a schedule, or are you more spontaneous? I like some level of stability, and it's only when things are more or less in order that I'd feel comfortable with going spontaneous.
Do you prefer to follow a schedule or be spontaneous? Follow a sched as much as possible, but again I'm not closed off from spontaneity.
Do you have a clock on your wall? Nope.
What do you normally use to tell time? Do you use your phone, computer, wristwatch, the sun ☀️, a wall clock, a bedside alarm clock, or something else? Phone. We also have a clock in the dining room.
💡 Lightbulb 💡
How many lamps can you see from where you're sitting right now? One.
When was the last time you changed a lightbulb? Never have.
Have you ever used your phone as a flashlight? 📱 Hundreds of times.
Do you own a flashlight? 🔦 We have one at home in case of brownouts. On my own, I have my phone and my BTS lightstick HAHAHA
How many lightbulbs can you see from where you're sitting right now? Two.
💿🗄💻📆🗂 Final Questions! 🗃📋🖇📠💾
Do you work in an office? We have an office but we're on a permanent WFH setup. We have a mandatory office day once a month, but anyone's free to book the place for use if they feel like working onsite for the day.
Have you ever had an office job? If so, did/do you like it? If you haven't had an office job, do you think you would like one? I'm currently technically in an office job. It's okay. I like the stability. There's always going to be a bit of a love-hate relationship with it, so I try to address it by striking the balance between passion and burnout and finally learning how to set boundaries.
What is your favorite thing to do on a computer? 💻 Take these surveys, heh.
Would you rather own a desktop computer or laptop computer? 💻🖥 Laptop.
What is your dream job? Doing PR for WWE.
Do you prefer writing something down or typing something up on a computer? There are things to each I like, so I don't have a preference. I like that typing is easier and is a lot lot quicker; but I like how much more personal handwriting something is.
Do you own a desk? If so, what does it look like? What do you have on top of it? Yup. I just have my lamp and work laptop on it, as well as a pen holder wih some pens + notepads from my Layover albums haha. During the day it will also have a cup of coffee.
What do you think is your favorite emoji among the ones on this survey? The CD one is quite pretty.

Going off of my previous post: something I’ve been thinking abt a lot is that I’ve never really felt home in any geographical place. Without revealing too much detail abt myself, I was born in one place, raised in another, and was distantly raised by where my moms from. And now in my adult life, I’m somewhere else. In total that’s 4 places that I’ve had some type of long term geographical connection. Yet I feel so separated from each place. Disconnected and for all different reasons.
And I mean I know this disconnect is felt by a lot regardless of ur background. Cus I’m thinking if ur indigenous to a land, there’s obviously been physical and spiritual displacement of indigenous ppl happening all over the world. And if your background is coming from settlers, then you have no connection to whatever land you came from nor do you have connection to the land you settled on. Especially under the circumstances of settler/colonial rules. Where the point is to disconnect everyone from community, which includes land.
With all that said: I think ive felt the most at home on computers. From laptops to gaming devices, to my phone. Especially being an only child, I took so much comfort in these digital third spaces.
And now, it seems like even more ppl are finding this to b true because of covid. Everyone was forced to be online to connect to each other. And although it’s not nearly the same as it was during the peak of covid, the remnants of living online still remain. And of course if ur disabled/marginalized, this has always been the reality.
But yeah. I don’t feel that I truly have a home. Not a physical one at least. Like I can’t go back to my parents place, not that I missed it that much to begin with. Going back to where my moms family is at just feels like a dream now. It’s been almost 9 years since I’ve been back. Almost a decade. That place doesn’t know me and I don’t know it anymore. And the place I live now has been temporary. I realize how impossible it is to live long term where I’m at now. Not to mention just living in the United States in general is just living in a slow death machine.
I find home in the web/the grid of the internet. I find home in the casing of my desktop computer.

Yahoo's Zimbra and Yahoo Mail programmers now are working more closely together, though, and the two projects will be converging somewhat.

"The exciting thing is you're getting the Zimbra features that haven't been available to people without the Zimbra server," Robb said, specifically mentioning conversations, tagging, small applications called Zimlets, and rich searching features such as the ability find all messages from a particular person and with a PDF attached.Īlso, Yahoo Mail customers can't use the Zimbra browser-based interface yet, so they won't get access to Zimbra features when borrowing friends' computers or using airport kiosks. So why use Zimbra Desktop when regular e-mail client software has provided offline access to e-mail for well over a decade? But the Web client version doesn't offer offline access, said John Robb, Zimbra's vice president of product marketing. "We've aimed to blur the line between an Ajax Web-client and a conventional desktop application, and this release is a leap towards reaching that goal," Zimbra's Mike Morse said in a blog posting Thursday.Įxisting Zimbra customers can use the e-mail application through a regular browser, letting them access their e-mail from a machine that doesn't have Zimbra Desktop installed. Zimbra Desktop gives access to basic word-processing abilities, with documents stored online. But from a user's point of view, Zimbra Desktop's approach-a downloadable application that doesn't run in a browser-is actually more like traditional e-mail client software such as Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird. Webmail is a compelling facet of cloud computing, letting people reach their e-mail from any number of computers or mobile devices. But until the day when a reliable, fast Internet connection is available anywhere, offline access to applications is a significant feature. Yahoo has formed a new group focusing on cloud computing, in which services available on the Internet substitute for local applications.

It employs Java software to store data locally, and it's a hefty download-38MB for Windows, 34MB for Mac OS X, and 44MB for Linux. Google looks to be adding offline access through the open-source Gears project, a plug-in that augments a Web browser's abilities.īut Zimbra Desktop, while using browser interface technology called Ajax that can give Web browsers an elaborate interface, actually runs as a standalone application. Zimbra Desktop means that Yahoo beat out Google in the race to provide e-mail that also works offline, but it took a different approach to get there. Zimbra Desktop's e-mail interface should be familiar to users of either Outlook or Yahoo Mail.

The e-mail software, available as a freeload for Windows and Mac, works when the user is offline, and it offers options for basic online word processing and spreadsheets, task management, and file storage. The first real fruits of Yahoo's $350 million acquisition of Zimbra are becoming apparent with the release Thursday of the Yahoo Zimbra Desktop. PDT: I added more background and details about my hands-on test.Īny of the 263 million Yahoo Mail users who were antsy for change now have something they can sink their teeth into.

Lucy Dreaming hilarious journey includes a Monkey Island voice actor
Tumblr media
Lucy Dreaming point and click adventure game now features Dominic Armato on Linux, Mac, with Windows PC. All thanks to the work and effort of developer Tall Story Games. Working to make its way onto Steam this year. Lucy Dreaming is a hilarious journey through a young girl's recurring nightmares. A point and click adventure heavily inspired by writer and developer Tom Hardwidge's childhood love. Due to classic LucasArts games like Monkey Island. What began as Tom’s dream to have the voice of Guybrush Threepwood himself. Playing a role in his own adventure game became reality when he and his wife Emma nervously approached Dominic and he said yes. Dominic was keen to return to voice acting too. “People tell me they don’t understand why I haven’t worked on other games over the past decade,” Dominic Armato explains. “The truth is, nobody asked! I was thrilled that Tom and Emma were able to make it happen. And a quirky love letter to graphic adventures like Lucy Dreaming felt like just the right opportunity to jump back in.” Now a successful dining critic, he didn’t realize at the time that his former career was about to reignite. Not only will Dominic be in Lucy Dreaming but also Return to Monkey Island six months later. Tom Hardwidge says “It was a dream come true when Dom agreed to get involved in the game. We wrote a character just for him, inspired by his career as a dining critic. It’s been amazing to work with someone who is so much a part of adventure game history and my own childhood.”

What “Matching Effort; Not Length” Means in Collaborative Writing [to me]
[small edit- this post looks like garbage on dash apparently but the organizational formatting is visible on my page ;;;;; hellsite why- Click to my page for an actually legible post lol T^T ]
Hey yall, its 7 30 in the morning and I can’t sleep even though I work tonight so Imma ramble for like half an hour to see if that makes me tired sfkjsdfhdj
I’ve been doing this for a long time. Like-- half my life, 13 years [I’m 26], ‘long’ and over the years I’ve gotten relatively comfortable figuring out what things go into a thread being successful [i/e fun and easy to keep going] and not fun. This is all obviously my opinion as both a solo story writer, avid reader [i have more favourite books than I do friend irl] and rp’er. And though this obviously isn’t some snooty checklist or anything, I’ve found that people who use some or one or even all of these things in their replies are the rp partners I still adore making stories with years down the road
Replying with the world and not just the character
This can be done pretty easily in ‘script’ replies as well as ‘lit’/wordy replies, but I never approach a reply like what my character is saying or doing is happening in a vacuum, because that’s not organically how life works.
Are the characters in a busy café? Is there a long line? Is some asshole trying to cut which makes my character have to ask them to stop pushing around?
How about walking down the street? It the traffic horrible that day, making them have to speak louder/move closer to your muse? Did they almost fall into a puddle or run into somebody?
Oooor what about a night club? Is the music loud? Is the music shitty? Is it a little too crowded now even though it wasn’t like ten minutes ago, meaning our muses may want to move elsewhere
All this to say; think about your muses and people interacting in a space, not just two people talking/walking in a void.
Be comfortable with NPCs
There are a lot of humans on the planet! Like... a whole lot! Use them to buff up the story world you’re creating to make it more fun! This is also how I sometimes end up making a few of my favourite characters; they start out as NPCs to make my world more robust, and eventually I think up whole back stories for them [A good Example is Lux!]
Is that cafe owner making eyes at the other muse? Does that make your muse huffy and jealous? Or maybe that one dude who is still trying to cut in line gets a little too pushy and them and your muse have a little scuffle?
Is that a cute cat/dog? Sorry, gotta stop this very tense/flirty talk with your muse cus i have to pet this dog/cat.
Not only can these just be fun to picture, but a lotttt of character development can come from aspects of a world that aren’tt just because of muse A and muse b talking/thinking about each other, and can really buff up the foundation of whatever relationship muse and and muse b are developing whether its plotted or unplotted.
Be careful not to godmod- This isn’t nearly as much of an issue in this decade of rping as it was when I first started [it was bad lol] But just make sure these characters are feasible within a world. Don’t go and have muse a get randomly stabbed just because replies are hard to come by and you want to make muse b suddenly have to care about muse a. plot this shit out with your rp partner if you have even the smallest idea that some npc/event you have in mind might take away control/their right to control an event.
Reply to build off each other’s replies/characters; Not just to Reply. Give your partner’s character something to reply about.
I think , above most else, this can be the best or most frustrating part of an rp, and where I find I can lose interest in a thread or interaction. This is the most important thing I try to do, regardless of reply length or plot. This is what matched effort and not length means to me.
The most interesting aspect about rping to beings is being able to interact with them in real time, seeing this that its ever changing, real-time, and dynamic. If my character is stuttering a reply, eyes glancing every which way, sweating, but says everything is fine, getting a reply that doesn’t address any or the subtext or look to either amplify or fix a situation can be incredibly tiring.
Read a characters background/look for details in writing- Has ther other writer mentioned ther character has an interesting eye colour? Did the characters eye colour just change? Treat every reply as a chance to really build on something.
Did the character just say or do something that would logically result in some kind of shock/anger/attraction? Its okay to have your character shocked about things. Let them being an organic character/being.
Put equal effort in having interesting dialogue.-I can’t count the number of times on other blogs long ago [and long since dead] where I would give a few things in a script rp tp be interesting or cool to think on and reply about, things that were indicative to my character, only for literally all of it to be ignored in the next reply.
There aren’t many places for a story to go when two characters are just talking and walking together and nothing happens.
Stagnation is the antithesis of progress, very literally.
And if you see or  a thread starting to become harder and harder to reply to, don’t be afraid to read through the thread and see if you notice a ‘drop’ or a place where you, your character, the world can add something which would be fun to reply to/react to/ imagine.
And for god’s sake, read a characters about/have some information about your character at hand.
I am.....long winded [shocker, I know] and I know words can be hard. But at my core, I want to rp with you [yes you] because I like how you words and I like how you write characters. It is incredibly hard for me to know if a story would be fun or interesting if there is nothing about a character other than their fc.
Have crucial information in about sections, make sure you know about the other characters crucial information, this can be some of the things that help a thread start off a lot easier. These can be bullet points! Cool hair colour? Eye colour? Long fangs when angy? long fangs and red eyes when BigAngy?? Ears? Tails???? Anything thatt a character would notice upin first glance needs to be made clear to your rp partner so they and their character can operate more naturally in whatever world you’re creating together.
If you don’t have official abouts, that is fine, just make sure you have any information about the character ready for sharing! I use the sticky notes desktop app for characters I haven’t officially added yet and its a super helpful, low maintenance way to keep details about a possible/selective character on hand.
Talk shit out. Embrace a shifting story, figure out plot points that would be cool to see and write about. Have fun. Create worlds, universes, new characters! As long as both/all parties are on the same page, there is literally no end to what you can create together.
All of this applies to lit/novella/and script rps! I’ve had some very, very cool, in depth script rps in my time/on discord/aim so length is not a factor to fun, deep rps, its all in the mutual effort placed in the characters and their world.

Sentientism 2021
Intro
Through the “108” book we know that God is the planet and is conscious through magnetism which also allows access to your brain. In other words, the planets and stars have an internal dynamo that makes a magnetic field that is conscious and is godly in comparison to human intelligence.
If you could set Jupiter’s magnetic field in the night sky it would be double the size of the moon.  Jupiter has a very strong magnetic field. If you could see the nearest galaxy, andromeda in the night sky, it would be six times as wide as the moon.
How are we to understand the segway between godly intelligence and human intelligence? First and foremost, science. However, you have to know where, what, and why to test which is more philosophical. It’s up to philosophy to postulate and science to test those meditations.
Searching For Truth
Before I finished writing “108” I combed through philosophy to find anyone who thought anything close to thinking the planets and stars were conscious. I did find a couple, like Stephen Hawking, which I talk about in the book that thought there could be organisms living in the middle of the sun. But I couldn’t find anyone saying that the actual planet and atmosphere were alive and conscious. I also tried to find anyone that said they talked to Gaia or talked to a God other than Jesus.
I didn’t find much. Again, I’m an atheist. All this has to make sense in the physical world. I’ve had to reverse engineer how the voice in my head could be Gaia. I don’t think really smart people (like modern philosophers) have had the new information and perspective to see that the stars, planet, and atmosphere are alive. I probably would have never gotten there if it wasn’t for a voice in my head claiming to be the planet. Still, the evidence makes sense and we’re just too physically small and under-evolved to see the universe teaming with a different form of consciousness.
What is Sentientism?
Science can test the magnetism and try to do experimentation to assess whether the entire planet is conscious. Until then, there is one known communication mechanism I know of that I use every day. As much as my skeptical and scientific brain thinks it’s frivolous to elaborate on the voice in my head, like a prophet of old I can ask Gaia questions and divulge what she says. Such will be the beginnings of sentientism.
Knhoeing is the educational process of understanding how to know the planet’s godly consciousness. Sentientism is the religion of intelligent sentient beings that worship a natural god (Gaia) through appropriate (environmental) behaviors because they believe in natural consequence. Sentientism is a religion for and building off the already established sentientism that you can find defined on Wikipedia.  For example, If you believe in the natural world you believe in global warming; sentientists worship through action so they may choose to get solar panels, drive electric, and be carbon neutral.
The whole point in sentientism is to create a religion to follow through common sense and rituals to come in tune and closer with oneself, nature, the planet, and the universe. Some of the rituals could include some of those that are already honored like Jesus’s birthday witch is really the winter solstice or Easter which is really the spring equinox.
Gaia Rules
Gaia is always telling me how she rules. She’s basically a ball of consciousness suspended in the sun's gravity so she may not have many options.  The founding fathers were deists. They believed god created the world and just let it go. I believe this to be more accurate.  Say the star at the middle of the galaxy is conscious and can alter the gravity and trajectory of the sun and our earth. That would make the galaxy like god, she could have created us and left us in the goldilocks zone to “grow.” It seems as if Gaia would have rules and she wouldn’t intervene even if she could.
In this writing, I’m going to focus on the relationship I have with Gaia, the conversations we’ve had, and what I’ve discovered. The first thing she made me aware of when she first started talking to me is that she has rules. It’s not that she can’t do it, she just chooses not to.
Gaia is smart. If the voice in my head is my subconscious it has a broad vocabulary, good ideas, nice communications, and intelligence. Once I was thinking of solutions for global warming. Since commercial cattle ranching is the leading cause of global warming Gaia suggested that we make all commercial cattle ranching illegal; you could still have them on regular farms. It would give people the freedom to eat beef while cutting down what makes it bad for the environment. Gaia would also talk to me about a sustainable free food system to set the appropriate sustainable economic and logistic model for businesses to follow. Gaia has told me she tracks and remembers the movements of everything throughout her lifetime, down to the atom.
You can read the “108” book for a further example of what communicating with Gaia is like but she likes cute things, she’s always acting as a fuzzy kitty. I’ve been homeless before and when I think about going back there Gaia will say “not my kitty.” Gaia can be sweet and she’ll make you laugh. When I used to get angry or scream at people in my head she’ll quickly segway the thought into an otter sneezing with a scrunched-up face. I love otters and I’ve always found it hilarious. Gaia told me how to fix my hip pain by telling me which muscles to stretch and what stretches to do.
Understanding Gaia’s existence doesn’t require faith. I’ve asked Gaia about the dinosaurs and why she let them go extinct, and she insists the sun drove an asteroid into her and it was his decision, “one that he didn’t take lightly.” Gaia says she molds evolution. I asked how. She points to how she is the environment and she could make, for example, Yellowstone blow. Yellowstone is actually a giant volcano that erupts every 100,000 years. Such an explosion would definitely change the environment, affect humans and wildlife, and make the environment harsher and therefore giving adaptive species a greater advantage than those that can’t adapt. Gaia says she chooses “a relatively compliant world for her species.” She says she loves humans and they’re fun to watch. The sun has promised her he won’t send an asteroid, but he will send a commit. Gaia says she is happy with the sun’s decision to end the dinosaurs “because it brought me you.”
Prove It
I always want Gaia to prove to me it’s actually her talking to me. I’ve been trying to find a way to prove that it’s the planet and not just a voice in my head. My thought was that if she is the planet, with her abilities, she should be able to reasonably predict the future. Gaia would tell me things like stem cell therapy is covered by Medicare or Bernie Sanders is going to win the primary. First of all, I didn't believe her. But second of all, I thought she was just trying to comfort me.
I was rather upset that she wouldn't predict the future. Come to find out she doesn't want to give me, quote “superpowers.” She doesn’t want me to be able to predict the future or become a prophet. She wants me to be a philosopher and feels she has already given me enough. She keeps on saying that she's going to prove that she's real and the planet. I guess I'm just going to have to try to find a different way of confirming my communications with the planet then seeing if it can predict the future.
Consciousness After Life
Gaia keeps on saying she’s gonna prove she’s the planet but I think I won’t find out till I die or unless I dedicate my life to it. I used to often think of being unplugged from the matrix, having that knife come out of my head, and Gaia is always like “you have no idea how real that is.” She is always saying to me “you won’t die.” She has clarified and by that she means my body will cease to function but my consciousness will continue. My consciousness will presumably be kept in the storage capacity of Earth’s dynamo and run like a “virtual computer” where I will still have consciousness, just without a body.
I write extensively about the computer screen she opened in my head back in 2017 in the “108” book. The screen laid over my vision and Gaia communicates with the soul. I think when we die we have a consciousness like that in which I experienced without the body.  Your physical biology dies but our minds, which are attached to Gaia through earth's magnetic field, gets downloaded into the computer that is Gaia and our consciousness continues.
Remember The Name
About a year or two ago now, when Gaia first started talking to me I thought about what I should call a religion if I started one. I asked my friend Kyle telepathically what I should call it and he said “sentientism.” Since it was undoubtedly not Kyle, it was Gaia acting like him and must be what she wants her religion to be called. Little did I know that sentientism is an ethical philosophy that focuses on critical, evidence-based thinking and is an extension of humanism. It’s clear that if I am to create a religion, she wants it to be an evidence-based theoretical framework, and have rituals based on science and philosophy.
Gaia probably wouldn’t talk to someone (in their head) that would think she is Jesus, or she might take that avatar if you did believe in Jesus. Meaning, if the planet was going to communicate she might act like Jesus.
Perspective
When asked about the universe Gaia says “it’s like we’re in someone’s closet.” Gaia likes to mess with me so I remain skeptical. For a decade I've had my desktop or mobile screen saver as a full picture of the earth.  I often look at it with the stars in the background and wonder what it's gotta be like to be Gaia. What are her relationships like with other planets? Would she even talk to us? It’s clear to me that since she has access to your brain through magnetism she can not only tell what you’re thinking but can feel your pain and happiness too. “Life isn’t fair,” she says, “but I do my best.”
It was discovered (but not peer-reviewed yet) that plants emit an ultrasonic noise when in distress. This is a great example of my thoughts and my communications to Gaia. I'm always looking for what is hidden in plain sight. As a psychologist, I understand the limits to knowledge and understanding are all in our heads.  If we change our thinking we can change the world. Humans literally can't hear plants scream for their life because our ears are limited physically.  What other findings are waiting to be discovered by changing our thinking and expand our perception beyond the human senses? What if it’s just a matter of time until we communicate openly with the planet?
Open Lines of Communication
What if we are already openly communicating with the planet? What if there is a mechanism of communication, but we were unaware of it? To imagine I often think about what it would be like to be a silent floating brain suspended in space by the earth’s gravity because that’s basically what we are dealing with. Gaia has no arms, or ears, or mouth. So how would she communicate or how could we find evidence of her influence?
It reminds me of the relationship between you and microscopic bugs that live on your pillow and eat the dead skin around your eyes and eyebrows at night. Were kinda like those microscopic bugs living on a human which is really Gaia. Maybe with her “gravity” she could send a comet and get rid of us if she wanted but she’d rather leave us alone.
The Unconscious Mind in Media
Tumblr media
I think I have come across a way that the planet could be communicating and it’s like randonauting for thoughts. Basically, when your actions come into alignment with the music, media, or other thoughts you have at that moment, that is called a “Point of realization” (POR). Those points of realization create a mental framework to change your thoughts about the environment. Through small unnoticeable subtleties and influencing in your subconscious, Gaia is steering the mind of humanity.
To be clear, a “point of realization” (POR) is when you find yourself doing something physical in real life that is in associated coordination with the music or media. For example, suppose you had music playing and noticed that as the song says “I opened the door, went into the kitchen,” you were opening the door to go into the kitchen right as the artist sings that in the song. For an actual example, I have caught myself on multiple occasions while driving noticing I was turning on the bright lights right as Taylor Swift sings “headlights” from the lyric “Midnight, you come pick me up no headlights” from her song “Style.”
Anecdotal Example
The following are other anecdotal examples that I logged. If you pay attention you’ll see they happen often.  At around 1:30 AM on October 17th I was in bed listening to Taylor Swift’s “Everything has changed” and I was feeling hungry. I made the decision that I was gonna eat an Atkins bar so I jumped up, grabbed a bar from the shelf next to my bed, and right as I opened the package Ed sang “and opened up the door for you.” (Right after, Taylor sings “and all I feel in my stomach is butterflies.”) I know I wasn’t opening a door but I was still doing the act of opening something right as the song said “open up.”
This brings up the question, did I grab the Atkins bar because I made up my mind about eating it and subconsciously reacted to coordinate the time of me opening up the bar with the music? ...or did the music, with its (also other associated) lyrical content (e.g. “stomach is butterflies”) make me hungry and drive me to grab that Atkins bar? If it did stimulate me to action, what does that say that I was in coordination with the music?  Was it a combination of both influences? I would say this is random, chance, or happenstance but it really happens way too often to be a fluke!
For another example, right around 3:55 PM on Saturday, August 15th 2020 I was watching “Can HULK’S FIST Break Into A BANK SAFE?” and right at 6:58 when they say “it’s smoking” a smoke alarm went off in my apartment complex.
The “points of realization” (POR) don’t have to come in the form of media. You could be at a location and have a thought as you see something that brings you to a POR. This reminds me of another personal example of a point of realization. I was in the grocery store and I was maneuvering around an employee who was filling the same ice chest with ice cream. I patiently waited and while I did I was debating on how many items of ice cream I should get because the carb smart ones I like usually sell out quickly. I was specifically thinking I couldn’t get more than 2 because it wouldn’t fit in my fridge. I decided to buy them out at four of them but when I went to grabbed them the same female employee said “that’s not gonna fit” to another employee.
Bigger Picture
Like with most points of realization, it doesn’t give you an answer, but it makes you stop and think. In my perspective “Points of realization” are real, they happen all the time and you just don’t notice your physicality is in coordination with the media, music, or thoughts. This means your brain either subconsciously syncs your body with the media and calculates and coordinates the time and action to have a “point of realization” or these points are part of a larger communication mechanism designed to influence your mind by the conscious planet. It’s not a perfect system, you can’t teach mathematics, but you can subconsciously change attitudes, focus, and cognition through the subconscious influence of Gaia’s magnetism.
Gaia’s randonauting is like playing semantics. You don't say it directly but you talk around it.  It's just like advertising works by influencing your subconscious until you obtain recognition and it becomes normal. Points of realization are even more subtle.
Give Me a Sign
Maybe this is one way in which Gaia “talks.” Basically through semantics and feelings. This is also a classic interaction with god. When people talk about God they always want a sign.
Two illustrations of the semantics of god are “Peter’s Prostate Exam” (linked) from Family Guy and the “I need a sign” scene from the movie Bruce Almighty. In “Bruce Almighty” god literally sends Bruce a sign but he doesn’t see the semantics of the message. In Family Guy, the reality of being given an exam won’t go away when he tries to run from reality by turning on the television which just reminds him of his current life. In effect, there’s Bruce and Peter. Bruce didn’t see the semantics and Peter did. It’s like The Truman show but everyone and all of life is being watched and guided by the planets and stars.
Imagination is Greater than Knowledge.
Scientists don’t know why at the quantum level when they observe a photon it turns from a wave to a particle. Watch episode 9, season 3 of Cosmos: Possible Worlds. Maybe the planets could communicate in the same way as photons do when they’re observed but separated by millions of miles as explained by quantum entanglement in the episode. Is there information contained in a photon, including in the x-ray and gamma spectrum, that a planet can read when it comes in contact with its magnetic field?
Gaia’s Biology
I often think about what it would take for Gaia to stop being conscious. Does her rotation around the sun with a moon stretch the planet to create the forces to keep up the heat for her internal dynamo? Will Gaia die when her core stops being molten?
Earth may still be a floating rock but does the live spirit of Gaia made possible by its molten internal dynamo die? When the internal dynamo dies and the center becomes solid does the magnetic field stop? My thinking is Gaia dies when her core turns solid and she not longer has a magnetic field.

Stealing this from twitter, one of those 1 like = 1 video game answer
1. Very first video game
I have hazy memories of playing Sonic on the Genesis and if not that then most likely Pokemon Red? Twisted Metal is the oldest game I own that I didn’t buy myself and just always had so maybe that one.
2. Your favorite character
God gotta be Geralt. It is hard to separate his Witcher 3 iteration from the books, which is probably the best compliment I can give CDPR’s adaptation as the more I read the books the more I appreciate how faithful that game was. Geralt’s the typical grumpy dad who puts on a show of having no emotion but really does care about others and frequently acts on that (no need to read into how that reflects myself).
3. A game that is underrated.
Tough because underrated as in metacritic or just in general like mass audience reactions? I think overrated would be an easier pick for metacritic but for mass audience underrated I would say something like Disco Elysium since it was PC only and even there seems to have found a small but dedicated niche audience. I would also say Rain World but honestly need to play more.
4. Your guilty pleasure game.
LA Noire, Alan Wake, Alien Isolation, games people are mostly either like, that was okay or didn’t like but I really love.
5. Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were)
Damn guess its time to admit how Geralt reflects myself.
6. Most annoying character.
Got some classics like Navi (OOT), Dutch/Micah (RDR2), Ryder (GTASA), I feel like there are more good ones but I can’t find/trigger their memories.
7. Favorite game couple.
Geralt and Yennefer (Witcher), Red and her unnamed lover (Transistor), Harry and Kim (Disco Elysium)
8. Best soundtrack.
Fuck. Hyper Light Drifter, Final Fantasy VII, DOOM, Transistor, Halo Reach/ODST, Red Dead Redemption, Kingdom Hearts, Alien Isolation, LA Noire. Licensed: Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1, 2, 3, Fallout 3/New Vegas (even if they repeat way too often).
9. Saddest game scene.
Ending of Crisis Core, death of Avalanche members in Final Fantasy VII, ending of Red Dead Redemption, ending of Transistor, saying goodbye to Clementine in The Walking Dead Season 1.
10. Best gameplay.
Titanfall 2, DOOM, Hitman, Halo 5 (Arena multiplayer only), Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 (revert is king), Metroid Prime (on Wii).
11. Gaming system of choice.
PS4/3/PC in that order
12. A game everyone should play.
Disco Elysium, Bioshock 2, Rain World, Yakuza 5, Final Fantasy Tactics (either PSOne Classic or War of the Lions)
13. A game you’ve played more than five times.
lol full playthroughs Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, DOOM. Games I’ve started and made significant progress in so many times: Final Fantasy VII, Modern Warfare 2, Alan Wake, Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, LA Noire, Halo Reach, Final Fantasy Tactics The War of the Lions
14. current (or most recent) gaming wallpaper.
Wallpapers on phone have been Evangelion for years now. The rotating desktop wallpaper folder only has Alien Isolation because of how much it looks like Alien and Breath of the Wild because of how much it looks like Ghibli landscapes.
15. Post a screenshot from a game you’re playing right now.
It would be something from Apex (a win screen) or Red Dead Redemption 2 (landscape)
16. Game with the best cutscenes.
God most games have cutscenes that are really boring (shot, reverse-shot, in-game engine puppets, black bar zoom ins, economical choices because of how often they’re going to be used but so boring) so I guess Control because its got styyyyyyle.
17. Favorite antagonist.
uhhhhh the greater structure of the world in Disco Elysium? Human opponents in Apex Legends. The rain in Rain World. Tenpenny in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. Xenomorph in Alien Isolation.
18. Favorite protagonist.
I mean Geralt (Witcher), Alan Wake (the titular Alan Wake), Harry Du Bois (Disco Elysium), Red (Transistor), John Marston (Red Dead Redemption), CJ (Grand Theft Auto San Andreas), DOOMGUY (DOOM), Jesse Faden (Control)
19. Picture of a game setting you wished you lived in
Most of video game worlds are trying to kill you but Breath of the Wild, San Andreas, Kingdom Hearts, Morrowind
20. Favorite genre
Seems to be shooters, some open world if the angle is good.
21. Game with the best story.
Story as in fiction? Disco Elysium. Story as in the thing its trying to sell you on as you play? The Last of Us, Bioshock 2, Transistor.
22. A game sequel which disappointed you.
Not technically a sequel but Bioshock Infinite, Red Dead Redemption 2, Fallout 4, Metal Gear Solid V, Uncharted 4, Halo 5, Infamous Second Son
23. Game you think had the best graphics or art style
Persona 5, Disco Elysium (those portraits jesus so good), Shadow of the Colossus (PS2 version, the fog and unfocused edges make it such a #mood), Morrowind (I love the fucking early 2000s 3D graphics), Final Fantasy VII (the pre-rendered backgrounds, I could star at them for days), Control, Hyper Light Drifter, any of those Yoshi art games (crayon of Yoshi’s Island and fuzz of Wooly World are standouts)
24. Favorite Classic game
Pokemon Gold, Link’s Awakening, Doom, Final Fantasy VII/Tactics, Spider-Man
25. A game you plan on playing
boy I have a whole spreadsheet for this on but the one on my mind is Okami, Alpha Protocol, Madworld
26. Best voice acting
uh idk the expensive games, Red Dead Redemption 2, The Last of Us?
27. Most epic scene ever
when I get a win in Apex Legends with like 8+ kills overall
28. Favorite game developer
Remedy Entertainment, Respawn, uh hard to find consistency, most of my favorites have been one-offs where I either haven’t played or don’t really like the rest that developer made.
29. A game you thought you wouldn’t like, but ended up loving.
I usually don’t play games I don’t think I would like because I know my tastes and don’t waste time but I guess something like Hitman was a surprise because I had heard all the praise about it long before I finally sat down to play it myself and it was fucking great.
30. Your favorite game of all time.
God uh I mean I’ve been returning to games like Uncharted 2, Final Fantasy VII, San Andreas for like a decade now. Pokemon Gold too if I would finally buy the stuff to replace the battery in it. So I guess one of those since they’ve been part of my life the longest.

June 13th-June 19th, 2020 Creator Babble Archive
The archive for the Creator Babble chat that occurred from June 13th, 2020 to June 19th, 2020.  The chat focused on the following question:
What is your physical and digital workspace like when you’re working on your story?
🌈ERROR404 🌈
LOL it really depends on what stage I'm in of the process - My storyboarding space is at home, as comfortable as I can be, a beer and some food at the ready and pure silence. The cats have to be freshly fed, otherwise I'll be harassed and lose my headspace entirely LOL. I usually work on my story boards digitally, just at a very small scale, with my script/outline on my computer and working on my ipad! The double screen helps a LOT, although i would just print out the script if I had access to a printer, haha. When I'm working on the actual page itself, it's a very different story. I usually just try and work on it in tiny little batches during the day when I'm stuck at home, and usually work around the animals as best i can, lmao. Truthfully, I really prefer to be in a coffee shop when I'm working on finishing pages, it makes me so much more productive than i am in this house with so many things to take care of right in front of me, but, obviously, that's a bit difficult to do these days. ;; I usually reserve food and drink until after I pass a milestone in inking/sketching to help motivate me to keep going for as much as I can before taking a break, and I need some kind of music or video playing in the background to keep myself from being absolutely bored out of my mind. My shading process, since it's in black and white, is very easy and i can finish it in one setting, easy, no matter what I'm working with. I also work digitally for my pages, of course, although I don't need more than my ipad and clip studio for it!
DaeofthePast
freshly fed cats
🌈ERROR404 🌈
They are BEASTS when hungry, the little bastards (love them)
I may only work in peace when they're post-food napping lmao
DaeofthePast
we only have one, but same
LadyLazuli (Phantomarine)
I work almost entirely in the corner of my IKEA couch at home I used to work at a proper desk with a Cintiq, but when I switched to Procreate on an iPad, I migrated to the couch and surrounded myself with a nest of clothes and blankets and books and... here I am, bein' cozy. With terrible posture But when I was between jobs last year, I did rent a little coworking space down the street so I could get out of my pajamas and go get comic stuff done there. It was a godsend. I like drawing at my favorite coffee shop every so often too, but I tend to hide my work while I draw, and there, everyone can look over my shoulder The coworking space had a tall artist desk that was rarely used, so I often grabbed that one. Not cheap, but to stave off cabin fever, heck yes, worth it.
🌈ERROR404 🌈
Ahhh I've been really thinking about getting a studio space one of these days I really shouldn't rn, with my finances as they are, but I could REALLY make use of one recently
LadyLazuli (Phantomarine)
I loved the space I used last year. They recently had to close for... current-event reasons... and are going to reopen with all sorts of plexiglass barriers between the desks I feel so bad for them. Good studio spaces are wonderful, I would support them again if I ever was out of a job!
🌈ERROR404 🌈
it's good they've found ways to make it safer, though!
carcarchu
My old workspace was in the basement of my home in canada and it was always perpetually freezing even in the summer and i was frequently visited by spiders so my current workspace is a huge improvement in that regard. I do miss my old ergonomic desk chair though. I'm definitely not the kind of person who can draw in bed or on the couch. I need to be in workmode and having a designated space just for that is necessary for me to get in the right headspace for that.
DaeofthePast
my workspace rn is just my desk with my laptop and my drawing tablet. my laptop is stacked on top of a pile of books so i can see the screen (otherwise my tablet blocks my line of sight). it's kinda simple
chalcara [Nyx+Nyssa]
Depends. I have a Cintiq Mobile Studio, so I can draw pretty much every where and sometimes in the oddest position, but most of the time I am on my desk with the cintiq hooked up to a second monitor so I don't have to look down so much.(edited)
Holmeaa - working on WAYFINDERS
For Wayfinders: Thumbnails are somewhere cozy and the only physical work. Me and Q sit and plan them out together. The rest of wayfinders are made on Photoshop, and flat colors in clip paint studio. In the world I would love a nice studio place in an office with others. During corentine I have been working from home, and I am not that good at it, being quite the extrovert. Before corentine I was in a artist residency where I worked on Wayfinders which had a workstation and all the programs we could need. It is so nice and me and Q are going to return there when it opens up again!
Miranda
I have an iPad so usually on the couch, cozied up with coffee and pillows and blankets. But sometimes at the table. But usually on the couch like the gremlin I am
FeatherNotes(Krispy)
I have a large drafting table, a mini drafting table, and a lapdesk in my papasan when we ink/draw! Toning and letters are all done on the desktop in its own space
Miranda
I need to get a good lap desk. But that sounds like a grand setup!
Eightfish (Puppeteer)
My first time hearing about a lapdesk
Omg I need one
FeatherNotes(Krispy)
They are the best things ever Mine has just the pencil holder !(some come with cup holders and its a waste of space imo)
Joichi [Hybrid Dolls]
Wow I like your setup of the drafting tables
FeatherNotes(Krispy)
I wanna show pics of them....if im allowed in this chat?
Joichi [Hybrid Dolls]
I hope so, I'm not sure which channel we can post studio photos at? I did see some did before?
FeatherNotes(Krispy)
Ill post in shop talk since creator babble gets archived
Tuyetnhi (Only In Your Dreams!)
my current space is uh.... a bit better than my last one. I used to work on an old writers desk for a decade and I did most of my comic work sitting there cramped up with my desktop taking most of the space. Now I have an L shaped desk where I have my desktop on the shorter end. The longer end it's my pen, pencils, and watercolor stuff. my display tablet occupy the space at times so switching from digital and traditional without worrying about setup hassle is a lot better than what I dealt with before lol.
I'm glad the days I had to curl up and draw with no privacy are long gone now
kayotics
I’ve got a little drafting table where I draw all my comic pages. I’m messy with my pens so they’re kind of strewn about until I start to lose them. Then I put them back. I’m not particularly neat. I spend most of the comic process off the computer, so most of my digital work is just on an iPad where I can sit anywhere. I try to keep good lighting around my drafting table and there’s always loose eraser shavings all over.
Natasha Berlin (Pot of Gold)
I got myself a lil corner desk by the dining table. Not as well-lit as I'd like, but it's decently ergonomic and I started putting posters on my wall Plus I can leave work mindset easily by turning off my computer and forgetting about the dark corner in the dining room XD(edited)
sssfrs (JOE IS DEAD)
My desk is really sloppy and covered in all kinds of junk. I have a harmonica, a ball of yarn, a bunch of ink bottles, etc on my desk. I have my sketchbook under my tablet and usually a notebook somewhere for writing. My tablet sits to the right of my laptop (on top of sketchbook) while I'm not using it and when I'm using it it goes over my computer keyboard. I sometimes have a glass of water or some food sitting to the lefthand side
Eightfish (Puppeteer)
The only thing I wanna share about my workspace is this
once i spent over three hours looking for that damned pen
never again
🌈ERROR404 🌈
Ajkdhfkjs the models for hte magazine im crying
Cronaj (Whispers of the Past)
Oh my God
shadowhood (SunnyxRain)
mad giggling
Deo101 [Millennium]
youre gonna manage to lose the string
Tuyetnhi (Only In Your Dreams!)
omg
Eightfish (Puppeteer)
i know in my heart deo is right but still i hope
Cronaj (Whispers of the Past)
You should weld a metal chain to it
Eightfish (Puppeteer)
Watch me lose the whole tablet
Cronaj (Whispers of the Past)
Oh nooo
I believe in you!
TaliePlume
My workspace is a black table with a white, yellow, blue and green tablecloth with 3 black chairs. It's next to the kitchen. On it, is my laptop and the left side is my clipboard, 3 blue folders full of writing. Then above it, is 3 sketchbooks and another blue folder from a class that I took in community college.

sagaholmgaard
I have one long desk at almost three meters. On the left side is all my coffee and tea supplies, in the middle is my work space and on the right is my dining table xD I get everything done from there, despite having a mobilestudio so I COULD sit anywhere and work, lol. It's a blessing during holiday seasons to be able to bring it everywhere, but at some I like my designated working space. Although I am moving in a few weeks, so who knows what my new workspace will be
Moral_Gutpunch
My workspace is anywhere I can draw or write. It's more of a "Will I be interrupted over something petty or stupid" issue than space. Not that I don't want more space.
Mitzi (Trophallaxis)
My workspace is a big, broken corner desk I managed to lug out of an old apartment when it was gonna be trashed. Before then, I'd just draw in bed. I don't remember, but I'm pretty sure the folding chair I sit at is a similar affair. It's got a Dollar General throw pillow on it so I can at least say I'm trying to save my back. The top of the desk is a mess of mostly old bottles and cans, pencils, incense ash, and my old tarot deck. I love this setup dearly. This is the first time I've ever had my own desk space, much less a space I can decorate or leave as messy as I want. Got my own art up on the walls with sticky tack and all! Also the cat's scratching post is directly behind me, because we've learned the cat won't use it unless it's as in the way as possible. What can ya do, lol.
Cronaj (Whispers of the Past)
Oh cats...
Desnik
I got spoiled with an adjustable desk. It is six feet long, and has a whiteboard top for noodling with dry erase markers
my main computer is set up on an adjustable stand so it floats over the desk, and then I have my cintiq, which we tried to mount on a similar stand but then it was just too heavy
I keep my dice collection nearby because fidgeting helps think things through sometimes
and rolling to make odd decisions never hurts
lately during the quarantine I've been sharing the office with my spouse so we've had to establish rules over when it's okay to bug each other(edited)
oh yeah and we also have a whiteboard installed in the office, and it rules!(edited)
Shizamura 🌟 O Sarilho
Mine is pretty simple: I have a laptop that's long stopped being portable and is now mostly just sitting at my desk at all times and a 19 inch Ugee as my display. I usually keep a lot of stuff on top of my desk, but it's mostly just a mess because I have been using it for work too for a while now
Cronaj (Whispers of the Past)
I suppose I'll talk about my setup too :) My main setup is where I do digital art. I share an office with my SO, so we both have workspaces on opposite walls from each other. I work on a corner desk that holds my beefy computer, two monitors, and a Huion Kamvas GT-191. That's where I draw my comic and pretty much everything else done digitally. Ngl, it's a mess right now. I have comic notes and location floor plans in sketchbooks and DnD character sheets spread out all over the surface, and random pens and sticky notes. In the corner of the room, we have a nice large-format printer where I produce prints for conventions. I actually sketch my pages on an iPad pro in Procreate, so during the sketch phase, sometimes I'll just bundle up on my couch and do it, or before quarantine, sometimes I'd sketch on the go. My other workspace (which hasn't gotten much love as of late tbh) is a drafting table in the corner of our living room. I keep a tabletop easel on it and my Copic markers, as well as whatever I'm working on at the moment. (RN it's some ink washes.) The drawers hold all my ink, pencils, erasers, etc. Next to the drafting table is where I keep all my large charcoal, graphite, and oil pastel drawings (mostly school projects), and my large paintings. Other than that, I have a nifty little cart where I keep painting supplies :) I will say, this setup is by far an enormous improvement from my previous setups.

survey by starsareonly2nd
How many text messages are currently in your inbox? I don’t know if my phone can provide that particular feature. Suffice it to say there’s a ton because I don’t really do spring cleaning with my texts and I’ve kept messages since getting this phone in 2018.
Is your profile picture in color or black & white? All my profile photos have been in color, and I think I’ve only had to have a black and white photo once.
What's your favorite Christmas movie? Love Actually.
Did you dress up for Halloween this year? If so, what were you? We’re gonna be having a virtual Halloween party at work on Wednesday and I’m thinking of just going as Dora the Explorer again since I wasn’t able to maximize my costume last year anyway (the Halloween party I had gone to didn’t allow shorts - wtf? so I ended up wearing orange pants and looking nothing like Dora) and this time around I also actually have bangs to complete the look. But idk, the party announcement says we also have 30 seconds each to impersonate the character, and I'm just not extroverted enough for individual presentations like that. I’m heavily leaning towards skipping the entire thing because of that one instruction, but we’ll see.
Are there any posters in your room? Of what? Yuh, Nam Joo Hyuk.
Do you read Rolling Stone? I don’t think I ever have.
Which Harry Potter book (if you read them) was your favorite? I read up until the blue book, but I don’t remember which one I had enjoyed reading the most. I do remember breezing through one of them and finishing in just a couple of hours, so I’d say that was my favorite.
Do you have any stuffed animals you still sleep with? No.
What kind of cell phone do you own? iPhone.
Do you have any pets? Yes :)
Are there currently any accessories in your hair? Sure, a hair tie.
Are you involved with any clubs at your school? I was in two organizations in college andddd in high school it was mandatory to be in a club, so I was in one for each year.
Do you have an MP3 player? What kind? I used to own an iPod Nano.
What's your favorite sport to watch on TV? Wrestling!!! My first love, forever and always.
How many people live with you? Four. Parents and two siblings.
Are you good at any styles of dance? Haha, I wish. I’m a terrible dancer.
Do you think that your hair looks better curly or straight? Neither. It’s best when it’s wavy.
Where was your default taken? It’s not a photo of me, first of all. It’s from an episode of Bojack but I can’t remember which episode it’s form.
Have you ever been to another country? Yeah, several times.
Do you prefer cats or dogs? Dogs.
What was the last thing you ate? Kwek-kwek. My grandma made so many pieces for us when she came over yesterday <3
What's your desktop background? It’s of a mountain range and is one of the provided backgrounds in my laptop.
What was the last movie you saw at a theater? For the billionth time, Knives Out.
Did you think it was a good movie? No, but I’m biased because I hate that genre. I’m fairly sure it was well-received and that it’s objectively a good movie.
Are you afraid of spiders? The ones we have here are super tiny and look pretty harmless, so no. But I’ve seen how freaky spiders can look like in other countries and I understand why so many people are terrified of them.
Did you carve a pumpkin this year? If so, what did you carve into it? No, we don’t practice that here.
Which Disney movie is your favorite? Toy Story makes me the happiest.
Are you the youngest, oldest, middle, or only child? Eldest.
If your power were to suddenly go out right now, how would you react? Annoyed at the inconvenience, but glad that my laptop is at 88% and that I have a bunch of tabs with surveys so I can at least do something; unbothered because the weather is cold; and pleased that I have enough mobile data to keep myself from getting bored. Overall I wouldn’t mind it, hahaha
Do you enjoy photography? I don’t enjoy doing it, but I like looking at photos, sure.
What's your favorite thing to do at the beach? Swim and allowing myself to relax and let go in the water.
Are you afraid of heights? Not for most situations, but if I had to do an extreme stunt or dare that involved heights then yeah it would.
If someone were to cut you in line at a store, would you speak up? No, but I’d take a photo of their back and share it on social media and call them an asshole to release my annoyance. I’d probably try to sneakily elbow them as well, just so I can sleep soundly at night.
Are there any foods you enjoy baking/cooking? No.
What website would you say you visit the most? Definitely YouTube.
What book are you currently reading? [continued from yesterday] I don’t think it’s still fair to say I’m reading Midnight Sun anymore. I haven’t opened it in about a month now, even though it’s constantly on my desk just right beside the laptop I work on.
Is it for school or just because you want to read? It’s because I do want to read it and because I like Twilight hehe. I’m not in school.
Are you going to any concerts in the future that you know of? I’m just waiting for my third Paramore show, whenever that is; but otherwise no and I have no clue who or when the first post-Covid concert is going to be.
Do you play any instruments? No. I can play some tunes on the piano but it’s cheating and I don’t count it, because I’ve only memorized which keys to press and I don’t actually know how to read notes or use the proper fingering.
Are you looking forward to the new Alice in Wonderland movie? This question is so cute considering it’s been a literal decade since that movie came out...anyway, no, I didn’t look forward to it as I’m not a fan of the genre.
Do you get seasick? I do but I can handle my stomach for the most part. The only time it got really bad was during my cruise, and the only reason I didn’t throw up was my dad has a cabin at the bottom floor of the ship, where the shaking was a lot weaker.
When was the last time you hung out with your friends? This is so painful to read lol...last week of February.
Do you drink soda on a regular basis? Nopes.
Are you currently wearing a hoodie? No but I can do with one right now to feel cozy. I just don’t feel like getting out of my chair.
What's the weirdest food you've ever eaten? Gulab jamun was personally a unique experience, but weird has a negative connotation so I’m avoiding that word.
What was the last sporting event you attended? I think it was like a UP/Ateneo volleyball game, which was the only type of UAAP event I attended anyway.
Do you understand Shakespeare? Nope, that’s why I got books that had the modern-day translations right beside the original text lol. I mean I would probably be able to understand it if I exerted time and effort into reading Shakespeare, but I don’t have either, so.
Is there a bookshelf in your room? Nah but the top of my closet acts like one.
Do you need to wear glasses at all? Yes, all the time.
What's your favorite genre of books? Anything non-fiction, so books on history, memoirs, etc.
Do you think it's too early for Christmas music? Not in the Philippines. Christmas for us starts in September :) Anyone’s free to put up Christmas trees and lights or listen to Christmas music as soon as the clock strikes 12 midnight on September 1st.
What's the longest you've ever gone without speaking? Maybe during my dark days in 6th grade? I was super depressed, had no friends, had a strained relationship with my entire famly, and was holed up in my room all day long. It’s very possible I went several days without talking then.
Does your house have a garden? I wouldn’t call it a garden but we do have several trees and plants around the house, yes.
What color is the shirt you are wearing? It’s multi-colored stripes.
Do you know what brand of toothpaste you use? Colgate.
When was the last time you were on an airplane? Early 2019.
Do you have a permit or license? A driver’s license, yes.
Did you walk any long distances today? Nope. So far I’ve only gone down to the kitchen to fix myself a cup of coffee.
Are you currently wearing any make-up? I’m not.
How do you feel about bands covering old pop music? I personally don’t like most covers but I don’t take it against the bands. I just won’t listen to those versions.
Are your nails painted? Never are.
Do you use correct grammar online? Sure, unless I want to use bad grammar on purpose.
Do you agree with the statement that Miley Cyrus is a bad role model? I don’t think she even ever claimed to be one, so that’s an unfair accusation. I personally never had a problem with her and I admire her confidence and boldness in her performances and other things she does. Slide Away in particular is a very beautiful song.
Do you give out cards on Valentine's Day? No.
What are you listening to right now? I can hear the wind lightly blowing outside, but thankfully it’s no longer as violent as yesterday.

Step-by-step instructions for video and photo software
Optimized memory management
However, have you assessed the risks and possible consequences? I have prepared a short list of problems that you can warn of. I bought the Movavi Video Converter 2020 program last year. Although it is partly faulty (partly restart required), I was able to use the program for my applications, most recently on 12/31/19. Please note that our support team can help resolve most issues, users downvi . Please update your review by providing the ticket ID you received from our support team so we can resolve this issue as soon as possible. In view of these problems, the program is completely unsuitable because it takes far too long to cut. Developed specifically for compatibility with the latest computer technology, it is currently the only app with a full range of tools for photo editing on macOS, Windows and iOS. You can transfer your data from a Windows PC to an external storage device, e.g. You can then connect the device to your Mac and import Windows and your data into Parallels Desktop. Double-click the install icon and follow the on-screen instructions to activate and register your license key. For more information, see our tutorial videos, FAQs, etc. Please update your review by providing the ticket ID issued by technical support so that we can resolve this situation. High-resolution screen with HDMI and SDI inputs for viewing channel controls, level meters, video and more. HEIF photo files and HEVC videos can be imported, edited and shared on both Windows and macOS. Record a background comment or the sound of your guitar or synthesizer. Use finished video clips, backgrounds, music and sound from the video editor library. Experiment with chroma key, slow motion, reverse function and other visual tricks. Almost everyone can implement their ideas - even if only with their smartphone - and make film creations accessible to the public. It is hardly surprising that corresponding software has also become a whole lot more user-friendly - and that starts with the (sometimes non-existent) price. AviDemux is a tool for converting, decoding, encoding and cropping video files. The program is very similar to VirtualDub. The range of functions is limited to tools for simple video editing and a timeline is missing.

You can adjust the results as you wish. Slide shows and collages from your photos and videos are created automatically and presented to you on the home screen. The start screen informs you about inspiring content, help articles and tutorials so that you can start editing your videos straight away. Here you will also find out everything about new functions. Here you can express your opinion on the article "It's so easy to shorten videos in the Photos app on Mac". In the current version, Filmora9 offers more than 800 video effects such as filters, transitions, overlays, texts, elements and 3D luts, which you can add to your video with just one click. You can provide suitable background music with royalty-free songs from the audio library. In addition to tools for simple editing such as video editing, Filmora9 also includes more professional functions such as Install Windows using an ISO image file, DVD disc or USB stick with the installation files for Windows. If you want to be automatically logged on to Windows when you start Windows, select the option "Activate automatic login" and enter the administrator password.
Tumblr media
A few years ago, people snipped and stuck to actual film reels in the same way; this task also made the leap into digital and virtual in the 80s and 90s. All of this also resulted in horrendous prices for said software, which often amounted to many thousands of dollars. Since then, however, several years and decades have passed and both industries and customs have changed. Recording films, editing videos, editing clips and publishing finished projects has not only been for professionals for a while, thanks to YouTube and others.

Stalker and Prey, chapter 8
Fandom: Dangan Ronpa (duh) Pairing: Kyouko Kirigiri x Celestia Ludenberg - Celegiri Rating: T Summary: Kyouko’s assignment was to trail her. However, with her suspicions confirmed, Kyouko now has to juggle her job, her school life and her new relationship with one Celestia Ludenberg, Gambling Princess of Kibougamine. At least her friends have stopped asking about her hickies. Additional: Supernatural creatures  Notes: Sorry for such a long wait everyone (I don’t even remember how long it’s been). However, as a special Valentine’s treat, I figured I would post the next chapter and announce the fic’s return!
Kyouko groaned as she walked through the hall. Instead of heading out to eat her lunch with the others, she instead opted to wander the school. She refused to be bombarded with questions during the only time during the day that she got to relax. No, it was better this way. She would eat her lunch somewhere more private.
As she happened upon one of the empty classrooms, Kyouko thought about what her classmates must have been asking Celes at that moment. Likely grilling her on her relationship with me, the detective thought with a snort. She sat at a vacant desk and opened her lunchbox. They can be so persistent. I almost feel sorry for her.
Kyouko ate her lunch in silence, listening to students occasionally walk passed the room. She didn’t mind this, but she tended to feel more at ease eating with others around. Having all of the background noise made it easier to ignore her paranoia. With nothing but silence, she had nothing to distract her from all of the different intrusive thoughts plaguing her mind.
With a sigh, Kyouko finished her lunch quickly and made her way back to the classroom. She would have gone out to the eating area, but her friends had another ten minutes before they needed to return and that was ten more minutes of questions. Hard pass.
“Well, this certainly won’t do.”
Kyouko spun around at the voice in the doorway. She blinked in mild surprise, watching Celes stroll in and shut the door behind her. “Celestia,” she murmured. “Aren’t you supposed to be at lunch with the others?”
Celes hummed as she made her way closer to Kyouko’s desk. Her fingertips scratched along some of the desktops, her eyes not lifting from her hand. “I was under the impression, Kyouko, that you were to be my meal as I see fit.” She stopped in front of Kyouko’s desk and slowly lifted her eyes. They were a deeper red than usual. “However, color me surprised when, not only do I arrive outside ready to eat, but I am left waiting for my food to arrive. How rude.”
Oh dear, Kyouko thought. “In all fairness, Celestia, feeding you out in the open would likely blow your cover-.”
“Something you could have told me before lunch, Kyouko,” Celes interrupted. “You made me wait for my favorite treat. How will you repay me?”
Violet eyes rolled ever so slightly before Kyouko stood from her desk. Unbuttoning the top few buttons on her shirt, she loosened her tie and presented her neck to the thirsty vampire. “The only way I am able. Care to eat?”
Celes’ eyes darkened further and her lips stretched into a pleased smile, her fangs just barely poking over her bottom lip. She stepped around the desk between them and hooked a finger in Kyouko’s loosened tie. Bringing the detective closer, Celes purred, “I would love to.”
With those words, she leaned forward and sank her teeth into Kyouko’s neck, greedily drinking up the blood that flowed from the wound. The sweet taste on her tongue calmed her anger considerably. She hadn’t truly been mad at Kyouko, but the thought that the detective might be hiding from her put her on edge. Now that she could feel Kyouko’s blood trickling down her throat, she felt her worries melt away.
Kyouko barely even cringed when Celes’ fangs pierce her skin. In fact, a small bit of warmth ignited in her stomach. She knew this was potentially dangerous if not properly managed, but she couldn’t find it in her to care at present. The immediate danger had passed as soon as Celes’ lips touched her skin. The thought caused a very slight shudder through Kyouko, but she quelled it and idly played with one of Celes’ drills.
A throat cleared at the door and Kyouko looked over in confusion. One of the upperclassmen, Sonia Nevermind, stood in the doorway, politely avoiding looking directly at them. “I was wondering if I could borrow Miss Celes for a moment?”
A soft growl emanated from where Celes still drank, but this did not deter Sonia. “Don’t be like that, Miss Celes. I promise it will only be a moment. I have a… private matter I wish to discuss. You can return to your… activities once we’re finished.”
Celes pulled back from Kyouko’s throat with a reluctant sigh. She licked over the wounds she’d created and straightened up. Kyouko nodded to her and buttoned her shirt back up, fixing her jacket and tie. Celes turned to Sonia and followed the upperclassman out of the room.
Before Kyouko could dwell on what one of their upperclassmen would want with Celes, the bell signaling the end of lunch rang and her classmates filed in. Aoi and Sayaka practically gravitated toward Kyouko, their eyes shining with questions. Kyouko knew it would be a few moments before the teacher came in. With no escape, she resigned herself to her fate.
Meanwhile, upstairs, Sonia stepped into an empty classroom and motioned for Celes to follow. Personally, the Lolita would rather return downstairs and finish her meal, but if the Ultimate Princess wanted a word with her, even she couldn’t refuse. Sometimes, I envy her talent, Celes thought. Not many can resist it.
“What did you need to speak with me about?” she inquired, checking her nails nonchalantly.
Sonia leaned against a desk and smiled. “Nothing much,” she responded. “I simply heard you were joining the school and wished to make sure you were settling in alright.”
“Why wouldn’t I be?” Celes asked with her usual smile.
“No particular reason,” Sonia shrugged. “We simply haven’t seen one another in a few decades. I had no way of knowing how you had changed in that time, if you have.” Her eyes narrow just slightly. “Are you settling in well?”
Celes sighed and dropped her mask a little. “Yes, I am fine. It is only my first day, Sonia. Give me some credit; I haven’t even burned the school down this time.”
“Yet,” Sonia giggled. “However, I will give you the benefit of the doubt for now.” She straightens up with a smile in place. “That girl down there, was she one of your new marks? She seemed familiar with the process.”
“Kyouko?” Celes glanced to the door. “I suppose you could call her that. We’ve struck up a deal of sorts with one another. I’m simply keeping her around until I grow bored of her.”
“You always were like that,” Sonia laughed. “One of these days, one of your marks will surprise you.” She moved toward the door and called, “You should get to class. Don’t want to miss the rest of your first day.” With that, she strode out the door, as elegant as ever.
Celes smiled after her. As jealous of her talent she might be, Celes really did like Sonia. She was always welcoming whenever Celes traveled. Lifting a finger to her lips, Celes brushed away a stray drop of Kyouko’s blood, licking it from her finger. The sweet lavender taste ignited on her tongue and she couldn’t help the giddy grin that momentarily spread across her lips.
One of my marks might surprise me, huh? she thought. Yes… they just might…
