individually. They’re all very smart. They know things. And they’re logical (mostly eddie and Carlos-). But you get the four of them together and oh my god

They lose the braincells!!! Every!! Single!!! Time!!!

And no its not just Buck and TK its all of them.

Carlos and Eddie may not participate in all the antics (except for one very long- very elaborate- prank war) but they don’t discourage it either.

In fact. They are their biggest cheerleaders (which is both endearing and terrible because it only eggs the boys on)

Buck rubbed the heel of his hand across the tired glaze that had settled over his eyes three days ago at the first itch at the back of his throat. The fever that had wrecked chills throughout his body and left him weak and achy had finally started to fizzle out across his skin in a periodic ghosting of sweat and had been the initial reason why he’d woken up. He needed a new shirt that didn’t stick to his chest and felt gross as it twisted around him.

But the other reason for his midnight stroll was because when he’d woken up, he’d been alone in bed. Alone and cold. Eddie ran hot and had been Buck’s personal furnace through the worst of it as he burrowed his way into his chest and pressed his cold nose in the hollow of his throat. He’d been practically glued to Buck’s side from the moment his fever had pitched above normal. 

So, when he woke up to an empty bed and his boyfriend nowhere in sight, he’d been forced to hunt him down himself. 

Hunt was a strong word. More like stumble around.

The hardwood sent jolts of cold up through the arches of Buck’s feet that made him shiver as he curled his arms around himself. He should’ve put some socks on but he’d kicked them off at some point in his sleep and just didn’t have the energy to look for them. Not while he had a rogue Eddie to find. 

It wasn’t hard just far as he made his way down the hall to the bathroom where he could hear the shower running. He knocked once, already pretty sure he’d know what he’d find, and opened the door with a soft,

“Eddie?”

Steam met Buck’s face and felt amazing against the persistent pressure under his eyes but he couldn’t relish in the feeling for long when his eyes landed on Eddie’s slumped figure through the shower door. His head was facing up into the hot spray with what looked like only the wall keeping him standing. He didn’t even so much as look at Buck.

Shit. 

He knew this would happen. He’d begged Eddie to leave him. To let the germs take him and remember him fondly. But Eddie had insisted he was fine. That he “faced kid germs everyday and those are way more vicious”. 

Buck made quick work of stripping out of his clothes and opened the door to step behind him under the hot spray. He circled his arms around his waist, hooking his chin over his shoulder, and took most of his weight even though the heat was making Buck even more aware of how tired and weak he still was. 

“You should’ve woke me up,” Buck said, pressing a kiss to his throat when Eddie dropped his head back onto his shoulder. 

Eddie didn’t even dignify him with an answer and instead let Buck hold him as they melted together under the comfort of the hot water.

lawsuit arc. this might sound anti-buck and extremely harsh but the people still writing lawsuit fanfics in a desperate attempt to victimize buck and stereotype his poc counterparts need to just get the fuck over it. i'm tired of it and i can guarantee that 80% of the fans of color are over it, too.

I was reading your post about CP and the representation in 911, and I was wondering if you could explain what CP is, because the internet can't compare to the words of a person that has to live with a disability and the ableism that unfortunately comes with it.

(Sorry if it comes out as rude, I didn't know how to word it 🙈)

Not a problem, my love! Thank you for being respectful about it :) Cerebral palsy (CP) is the name to describe a group of neurological disorders that typically begin to appear sometime between an infant's first and second year of life (If a baby has difficulty rolling over, crawls lopsided, or feels unusually stiff while being held...those are probably signs that they have developed CP). cerebral = cerebrum (area of the brain) is affected palsy = lack of muscle control/movement CP is caused by abnormal brain development or damage to the brain before, during, and in some cases, soon after a child's birth. It's non-progressive and incurable. Having CP means that we experience problems with movement, muscle control/tone (spasticity), and posture. Also, our balance tends to be abysmal. Symptoms of CP are unique to every individual depending on which part(s) of the cerebrum is affected, and can include: - difficulty standing/walking/running - weakness in one or more limb(s) - walking on toes/walking with "knock knees"/walking in a way that looks like a crouch - muscles that are too stiff or too loose - tremors/involuntary movements - difficulty with fine motor skills such as: holding utensils, pencils, markers, etc., buttons/zippers, tying shoes, using scissors (basically, anything that requires hand strength is a potential problem for us) - impaired vision or hearing. - impaired cognitive function (delayed language, difficulty speaking, reading, counting, and focusing on tasks..) - seizures - more severe forms of CP can lead to difficulties with eating/swallowing and may even cause excessive drooling The most common type of CP is known as spastic cerebral palsy - that's me! I have increased muscle tone (more than the average person), meaning my stiff muscles make body movements awkward/impossible. ...I think this is enough information for now. I hope I broke it down in a way that you (and anyone else who finds this) can understand <3

Buddie + pets for the headcanon thing

youre a blessing

- so neither of them really ever had pets (except for Chris’s guinea pig)

- but Buck has always wanted a dog and eddie had always thought the idea of having a dog was fun but it was never the right time and his work schedule would be hell for the poor thing

- but once they got married he couldn’t resist Chris’s begging and Buck’s little comments or “what do you think about this dog?”

- so they finally get a puppy- an bernedoodle (im biased im sorry)

- and its like,,,,smol at first right? and its fine and they love it and Bucks lock screen is now his boys + the lil babe

- (her name is rose/rosie cause her coat is white black and a reddish color that kinda looks rose gold so)

- (they also get her trained as an ESP because the collective trauma of these three boys is just-)

- But these dogs can get big and they generally have a lot of energy and it honestly is perfect for them

- In the mornings Buck or Eddie wakes up and she’s just sitting there staring at them

- and she basically becomes their alarm clock cause she somehow gets up just before their alarms

- they’ll be like “rose go to back to sleep” and then their alarms go off and they just 🙄

Maddie: Phish Food reigns supreme... for now. She jumps around but always seems to come back to Phish Food

Buck: Cookie Dough because it used to be Maddie's favorite when they were younger and she would always let him try a bite because cookies and creme is just so lack luster no matter how entice it sounds at the time. He also learned that if he put a crushed up cone in it too that he was in dangerous territory of finishing the whole thing.

Eddie: Shannon introduced him to a hazelnut gelato that he still dreams about and makes his mouth water thinking about it but he's good with a solid coffee flavor

Athena: Strawberry. Anything strawberry.

Bobby: Vanilla but like the good kind. The can be paired with anything kind. The kind that melts on a warm piece of pie or mixes well with birthday cake. Sometimes he'll treat himself and put a little in his coffee when he needs a pick me up.

Hen: Coffee fudge. Chim I will stab you with this spoon get away!

Chimney: I will never say no to ice cream

Michael: Butter Pecan or a vanilla with toppings like sprinkles and whipped cream. But he loves the cherries. Everyone used to give him the cherries whenever they went for ice cream.

Karen: Rocky Road

Taylor Kelly: Lemon and Raspberry Sorbet
