First ever post of this kind on Tumblr! Creative spurts come out of nowhere, and the one I had came in the form of a longing for a story that would inspire in me the same kind of passion and intrigue I felt from the books I read many years ago, and probably also because of my great passion for D&D and fiction in general. That tenderness mixed with the right dose of melancholy that once filled my mind with endless daydreams, stories and characters... If you get what I'm talking about, you'll be a perfect roleplay partner!

In short, I'm mainly looking for someone to be a huge nerd with 😅

Think of it as a detailed, long-term roleplay with everything a story needs to be good, and filled with all those things dorks like me go crazy for, like being emotionally invested in fictional events or even giving characters musical themes if you're into that. Let's say, creating something that might as well be in a book, a DIY novel if you will!

The standard setting would be a fantasy/historical one in whichever place our characters would fit the most, since my approach usually starts with deciding those and creating a scene that would fit them accordingly. Being it the classic scenario of enemies who constantly bicker but slowly grow fond of each other, an unlikely friendship that can either bloom into something more or end up in tragedy, or something as simple as a character being in love while the other remains hilariously oblivious, every kind of character dynamic is well accepted, no matter how tropey. As long as it will keep both of us affectioned to the characters and constantly wanting to see where the story will go, I will call that a wonderful experience!

I'm aware that until now it might sound a bit tame, but rest assured, mature themes of EVERY kind are very well accepted: Duels, fights, betrayals... some grittiness is always needed, and how else could there be that sweet, sweet drama if not? And yes, lewd stuff is included other than very appreciated~

Further information about the characters I have available, along with sheets and image references, will be discussed in private. I'll tell in advance that if I enjoy a roleplay I tend to become VERY invested, and I understand someone might not match my level of commitment, so anyone interested is kindly asked to be transparent and let me know in any moment if the story is becoming stale or not enjoyable anymore. I've had far too many writing partners suddenly ghost me in the past and I'd hate that to happen again...

Last thing to add, it might be VERY important to know that I don't like playing power-centered roles. Take that as you will 😅

i’m looking specifically for realistic historical ocxoc plots! i’m not picky about historical accuracy but i’d prefer realism over explicit fantasy.

i write all kinds of ships, mlm, mlw, wlw with a slight preference for writing men. however, i would love to try writing a woman, especially if we double up. ❤️ additionally, i’m looking for ocs with character! i don’t do the whole d/s as defining personality traits thing, and definitely prefer switch characters over hard tops or bottoms. smut is a-okay, but requires a us writing with each other a bit, first.

i want complicated character dynamics, period-typical drama, and all the juicy juicy things we can come up with!! also, i would love for us to create characters for this rp, so no pre-established ones pls.

period wise, i’d love something in the ancient mediterranean area (yes i’m just replaying ac odyssey lol) or medieval european! the renaissance and the early modern period are also things i’d be interested in exploring.

Hello, I am Duns. I am 24 and I prefer to write a minimum of four paragraphs all the way to novella length where I can post multiple discord character limit replies. I am open to anywhere in between those two moods. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions.

I’ve been wanting to do several plots as of late, I’d like to do a World War Two plot with either two sailors or possibly a crew of a B-17 Flying Fortress. I would be interested in other war based plots but that is where my mind is currently at.

In this plot I really feel like we could play multiple characters within that crew with a main pairing. We can have as much historical angst as you would like, feel free to reach out with any questions for me. If we match well over tumblr we can create a discord server and write.

21, NB, semi-literate (5-10 lines of text is more than enough unless the context demands extra descriptions or dialogue, as long as it's 3rd person, with no ** then you're good) roleplayer with more or less 8 years of experience behind. Looking for a fandomless, medieval/ historical- inspired RP that would include dark themes (from gore to sexual NSFW, so make sure you're not only 18+ but your age is also listed in your bio, otherwise don't bother reacting to this ad), mythological creatures, some magic and all that jazz. I prefer Discord as it's more organized but we can discuss this later. While I do use Castlevania or Claymore as sources of inspiration, that's pretty much all they are, the plot isn't set in them. The RP would be OCxOC, preferably MxM or NBxM (with my character being the guy), immortal x immortal type of ship. He has a calm attitude, is a dominant switch and can be kind of a smartass at times but at the end of the day he's well meaning, if you show respect. Other than that, I will NOT claim that he's some sort of "good guy", he absolutely CAN be the villain who's willing to burn down the world for who he loves (but PLEASE don't come at me with childish or naive, bl or yaoi type of bottoms 💀💀💀). I do tend to include a lot of details from my culture and traditions, as I'm very fond of it, so I'd also encourage you to do the same (I'm kind of a sucker for world building details).

Plots I've had in mind:

1. Nobleman x Guard- My character is a nobleman by default and this plot could really only go one of two ways: either he is part of a rebellion against the current sire, king, leader, whatever, for his wrongdoings, OR he's fighting to not be removed from his position due to political stuff. Your character would be the "ride or die" who has to tag along now (or who knows, maybe he/ they actually enjoy it, who am I to say)

2. Two against the world- Since we're talking about an immortal x immortal ship and I lean more towards dark mythological creatures, I was thinking of a duo of so called "monsters" (by humans of course) who kinda get tired to be hunted down for simply existing and decide to fight back. That being said, this does have enemies to lovers potential, if your character is a good/ celestial being who joins my guy along the way.

As for your character, again, not interested in RPing with a naive or childish character, if he/they lean more towards a masculine appearance that would be great. (not obligatory tho) You can use whatever you want as images (drawn, Picrew, real life face claim, even if the latter is a bit creepy to me, I have a face claim for him. Anything but AI bs) and if you can describe them good enough, I won't need a character sheet. I do have one for my OC tho.
