I honestly think they dropped the ball on the ted and nate storyline. ted as a character was fleshed out by not having him be this two-dimensional, always positive person and having one of his pressing issues be him not being able to open up and express his emotions. while it is in character for ted to have already forgiven nate, for the show to wait to the very last episode for them to have a real conversation and for it to not even have ted express how nate had hurt him is a disservice to both characters and their overall arcs

is it just me but…. so far i am NOT liking the tortured poets department. i only like loml, guilty as sin, and the alchemist and even then i dont even like those songs that much. (except for loml i really like that one) ive only listened to half so far but i expected them to be better ngllll 😭😭😭 i might listen to the other 15 songs another day tho bc rn i don’t rlly want to, especially when the songs ive been listening to so far are not that good at ALL. i can do it with a broken heart was acc so bad im not trying to offend anybody that liked it but i was shocked. it sounds like those videos that people make when they’re trying to mimic taylor and im just so dissatisfied with it IM SORRY 😢
but there might still be good ones that i just haven’t heard yet. AND TELL ME WHY THE TT AI VERSION OF FORTNIGHT WAS BETTER THAN THE ACTUAL SONG???

Looks like I'll have to update my Megalodon Rising breeding card since they "fixed" Sandsurge Blend- old vs new:
I am genuinely considering a different secondary, because it just looks bad. It's not terrible, I'm sure other colors and dragons have it worse, but it's just. Bad.

Ceramic Hornet and knight from Hollow Knight!
This is my actually second time trying to make ceramic HK figures. The first set I made didn't turn out great for a number of reasons (using the wrong glaze, using too little underglaze, legs breaking off when loading the kiln, general dissatisfaction with the shapes and proportions, etc.), but I'm much happier with these two.
And here is a more straightforward picture of the figures, as well as a comparison between the two sets. I am so glad I did three coats of white underglaze this time, it was absolutely necessary. The old ones look even jankier in person.

Context: So there's this owl house tournament going on and Belos got knocked out the first round
He's such an interesting villain do people really hate him that much
I'd say that it's a good sign that your villain is hated by the fandom, actually - with its exceptions, the fact that people really and truly despise the character that they were supposed to despise shows good writing.
Of course, I would disagree with that loathing, but that's just because my tastes are different. Perhaps if it was a "best character concept," he'd go up higher lol

I hate to say it but bg3's method of party relationship progression is so frustrating bc cutscenes and unique dialogue are so important to this genre of rpg, and by making them as easy to miss as they have they fumbled the delivery of a core mechanic of the game so so hard.
"Long rest more often," sure! but you shouldn't have to tell me that for me to know. Perhaps the game contradicting that by constantly pushing a sense of urgency is an issue. Perhaps meeting two characters in a day shouldn't eliminate special dialogue from one of them. Perhaps companions should be able to hold onto a thought for more than one day in a row, idk.
I get the intention for it to increase replayability, but hiding chunks of a defining mechanic of the game from you is just not a good way to do that. Maximizing replayability is great for minor quests, unique backgrounds, romance-specific stuff. Its bad when I have to play long rest guessing games to actually make friends in a game that's supposed to want me to make friends
I feel like one of the effects of it being in early access so long is that a lot of people just already knew exactly when and how often to pop a long rest, but the game really does not communicate that effectively. It's super disappointing. I love the game wholeheartedly and gush about it to anyone who'll listen, but like all great things it has its flaws. That's just the one that bothers me the most.

Don't beat yourself up! Honestly, it's fine if a commission takes a little long, the last thing I'd want is the person I commission to stress themselves over a piece and getting frustrated. In my opinion I rather wait as long as possible for something that had time and effort put into it then receive a product the artist didn't have a good time working on!
I really appreciate it! It’s not for everyone to wait and that’s alright but genuinely, a lot of my best work comes out of patience and enjoyment. I put in a LOT of effort and fun details and take my sweet time cleaning up the piece when I know I’m gonna enjoy taking all that time to do it
Like hell, how I did the entire second version of that piece of the one oc and Frank? I had so much fun doing it and adding details that were harder to notice and taking the time to throw on some more layers to make a creepy one and I hardly minded taking that extra time to do it because I was in the zone and having fun 😌
