So about Season 3 Episode 5 of Banshee
Spoilers
First time watching the series and because I’m living in denial I’ve decided that Siobhan didn’t die at the end of that episode. They got her to the hospital in time and managed to save her life but she’s going to need top notch medical care so Hood had Job use some hacker Magic to move her to a better facility out of state. Also to protect her from Chayton, the Redbones, and Proctor Job also faked her death. The Funeral was a charade to sell that she was dead to the masses. Hood’s guilt was just over Siobhan being seriously hurt because of him. After Hood has dealt with Proctor and made sure Deva is going to be okay, he’s going to find Siobhan, tell her the truth about everything, and they’re going to have a wonderful life together.
I know it’s not true but I’m just going to stay on my little dinghy of denial and if anyone wants to join me I’ll make some room.

Holiday Rush

Pairing: Kim Mingyu x reader
Summary: Your favorite regular has one hell of a way of saying Merry Christmas (and getting your attention).
Word Count: 2.4k

Tumblr media
You’ve had less eventful Christmas Eve mornings, to be sure. Especially 4:30 AMs on Christmas Eve mornings. For starters, you were asleep like a normal person on all the other ones. For another, you weren’t usually bailed on out of nowhere by your manager due to “a family emergency”, leaving you in charge of the entire store. Nor were you typically bailed on by two other workers, both of whom had a “sudden onset illness”, leaving you with only three people other than you to cover everything the inevitable last-minute holiday-shopping horde would throw at you.
By the time you’ve got things in some semblance of order and preparation for opening, there’s already a car idling in the drive thru, and there’s a slight ache in your left temple.
“Siobhan, you’re on mobile bar,” you order. “Luke, drive bar. You’ll both have to do your own cold bar since Geo and Kennedy flaked. I need Phoenix on customer support and food. I’m gonna attempt solo drive for the first couple hours, and if it gets nuts I’ll pull one of you in to assist. If it gets slow in your area, work on putting away the order. I may have to turn off mobile if it comes to it, but that’ll piss people off, so let’s try to keep up.”
You slip your headset on, watch the digital clock on the order screen turn from 4:59 to 5:00, then click the button. “Good morning, welcome to Starbucks. What can I get started for you this morning?”
“Morning, Chief. Didn’t think you’d be here today. Happy Christmas Eve.”
A little of the tension in your head relaxes, and you smile, tapping away at the order screen. “Ah, Gyu. You’re early. Happy Christmas Eve. Usual?”
“Sounds perfect, thanks.”
“Come on around,” you say, not caring if you sound a little flirty.
Your store has its regulars, and he is by far your favorite. He comes in nearly every day, orders the same thing (grande caramel macchiato, extra shot, for “Gyu”), makes friendly conversation, and leaves a tip three times the price of his drink. Without fail. You’ve never figured out what it is he does for a living, but given the immaculate cars (yes, plural) you’ve seen him drive through in, it probably pays really well.
The whole staff loves him. Some of the bolder ones flirt with him just to fluster him, but they know if you’re on the floor to let you hand him the drink. For reasons beyond your comprehension, he seems to have a soft spot for you. He mistook you for the manager when he first stopped into the cafe, and he’s called you different in-charge nicknames since then—“chief”, “captain”, “commander”. It’s probably giving you an authority complex. You don’t care. The confidence boost his interest in you has given over the past year has gifted you a boldness that he doesn’t seem to mind.
“Must be Gyu already,” Siobhan remarks when she sees you surreptitiously smoothing your hair.
You flip her off as the hood of a familiar black BMW comes into view.
“Kinda early for Christmas Eve,” you say by way of greeting as the car window pulls level with yours.
God, he’s gorgeous, smiling up at you, all bundled up in his expensive-looking wool coat and black turtleneck.
“Could say the same for you,” he says. “Don’t they ever give you a break around here?”
Your smile turns wry, and you sigh lightly. “They’d perish without me, I think.”
“I’ll drink to that,” he says, grimacing lightly in sympathy. “Hopefully not here all day, right? Got plans for the holiday?”
“Just here ‘til noon, then going an hour north to my family’s for a couple days,” you tell him, grabbing the scanner. “Want me to cash you out?”
“Ah. About that.”
You watch him reach into the passenger seat, grabbing something the size of a woman’s clutch, then extends it to you.
You set the scanner down and go to take it, then freeze, blinking.
“Uh. Gyu.”
“Yes?”
“What is that?”
“...Money?”
“I mean. I. Yeah, like. Is it…real?”
“Yes?”
“That’s…way more than your drink.”
“Yes.”
“Like. Are those all twenties?”
“Yes.”
“...I only need a fourth of a single one of those.”
“I know. Take them all.”
You don’t understand. “I—wh…”
He grins. “I feel like being Saint Nick today. I’m paying it forward for the next customers.”
Holy shit. “The next…thousand customers?”
“Hardly. Probably half that. But you don’t know how many big orders there will be, it could be less than that, too.”
“Sir.” Your head is spinning, hand still frozen inches away from the stack of bills that looks honest-to-god like out of the mafia movies. “Sir. That’s…”
You don’t even know how to finish that sentence. That’s not necessary? Your manager would kill you if she found out you refused generosity. That’s ridiculous? It might be, but you don’t want to tell this man that, not when he’s been so wonderful to you.
“I’m not even sure I’m allowed to take this,” you say.
He shrugs. “It’s all twenties, not fifties or hundreds. You can mark them all with a counterfeit pen if it helps. Call your manager if you need, I can talk to her. If you need to call the cops, even, you can. C’mon, I’ve been planning on this for ages. Let me do this.”
The thing is…he’s allowed to do this. You suppose. Technically. You huff a single, breathless laugh, incredulous.
“You…are fucking insane,” you breathe, grinning, not caring how in awe you sound.
His smile turns flustered, and he laughs a little. “If it doesn’t all get used today, put the rest in the tips.”
He’s finally done it. He’s finally rendered you speechless. You can feel your mouth hanging open, not sure what you’re supposed to say. Not sure what you can say.
Gingerly, like it’s alive, you take the stack of bills he’s offering.
“Dude,” you say, laughing again. Absurd. “Dude. Are you…?”
“Completely sure,” he says, eyes warm. “Merry Christmas to your customers. And your staff. And you.”
“Grande caramel macchiato, extra shot,” Luke says behind you, sliding you the cup.
You linger a moment longer, holding eye contact, before ducking back in the window and setting the cash next to the register, swapping it for the drink.
“Holy shit,” you say, laughing as you hand him the drink. “Have a merry fucking Christmas, Gyu.”
“Aye-aye, Captain,” he says, grinning, and then he winks at you.
Your insides light up like a Christmas tree. You indulge for a second and stare after his car as he drives off. God. What?
This Christmas Eve is about to be the most fascinating yet.
You have to get Phoenix on headset to take the next drive-thru order so you have time to count out the bills and cash out the order properly. You feel lightheaded after counting the first several hundred, possibly a little ill by the time you total it out. Three thousand.
“Holy fuck,” you mutter under your breath, laughing as you punch in the frankly ludicrous number. That’s half of what the store makes on a slow day. Granted, today will not be a slow day–you can already see more cars filing into the parking lot–but that money covers a chunk of business.
All morning, you have the absolute joy of watching people come up to the window, ready to pay, and telling them “actually, your order’s been covered by someone further up in line”. The looks of surprise, the occasional relief, and the smiles don’t get old or lose their shine. A couple of people get emotional, and you can’t blame them. You feel your own throat tighten when some of the customers insist on paying for the person behind them.
“Someone spotted me, let me spot someone, too,” one lady puts it, paying twice what she would have paid originally to cover the vanload behind her. “Why not? It’s Christmas.”
“Crazy what a little generosity inspires in people,” Phoenix comments as the lady drives away.
You can’t say you disagree, but there’s only one man in mind when you think it.
Luke points out that the more people keep paying it forward, the less that initial amount goes down, and the more of it that gets allotted to tips. You outright refuse to think about it. I can’t take that. There’s no way. I’ll have to give him money back, that’s just…
Even by the time you switch off of drive with Siobhan, about 75% of customers insist on continuing to pay it forward, keeping the dizzying remaining amount from Gyu fairly steady. Siobhan is far less willing to do the mental work of paying it forward and eventually asks whether it can’t just be cashed out to the tip fund.
“He probably wanted to leave most of it as tips, anyway,” she says, raising an eyebrow at you. “He’s got a track record, plus he likes you.”
You feel your face grow hot. “He does not.”
Siobhan rolls her eyes. “Whatever, live in denial. Can I put this in the tip fund?”
“...Fine.”
For the last hour of your shift, you concentrate on calculating tips. Even divided amongst all the store employees and adjusted for the amount of hours each person worked, everyone ends up with over a hundred in tips total. You end up with nearly twice that, after the hours you’ve done. Crazy. Absolutely unreal. You’re already thinking of the last couple gifts you were hoping you could afford to spring for for family and friends. Easily done now, with this tip money.
“Tips are in the safe,” you tell your coworkers as you zip up your coat and make for the door. “Everyone say Merry fucking Christmas, Gyu.”
You grin as you hear a chorus of “Merry fucking Christmas, Gyu!” behind you as you step out into the cold.
You’re halfway across the parking lot to your car when you notice a black BMW. You wander to a stop, hesitant, as the car pulls even with you in the nearest parking spot and the door opens.
“Did you need more coffee?” You ask, biting your lip as he steps out.
Gyu closes his car door and shakes his head, grinning. “Already got my fix today, I’m good.”
“Shame,” you say, fighting a smile, “because I happen to know that if you went through the drive-thru right now, your order would already be covered.”
He leans back against his car and raises his eyebrows. “It lasted this long? You’d think there’d be more business than that today.”
“Everyone else kept insisting on paying it forward, too,” you say, shaking your head in awe. “What did you start?”
“Well, you certainly deserve it,” he says, and the way his smile softens makes your stomach flutter. “Hopefully it’ll end up as tips, if people keep paying it forward?”
“It’s too much,” you tell him, trying to be as firm as possible. “Far too much. I really can’t accept that.”
“It’s a gift,” he insists. “For how long you’ve been subjected to my patronage.”
“Everyone loves you in the store, they always have,” you argue.
He looks at you intently. “Everyone?”
You feel your face grow hot again. “...Yes. Everyone.”
You push through the way you want to be flustered as he grins. “But that’s what I’m saying. You’re hardly a difficult customer. It was too much.”
“You know,” he says, “it’s possible I just want to spoil you.”
You open your mouth, then snap it shut, then open it again. Holy shit, he’s made you speechless again. Twice in the same day.
“You don’t even know me,” you argue weakly.
He gives you a Look. “I’ve talked to you nearly every day for around a year. I know lots of things about you. Like your cats. Your family, mainly your sister. The saga of your car. Things you like to read and watch. Some of the jokes you find funny. And you know a lot of the same things about me.”
“I don’t even know if Gyu is your real name!” You burst out.
He frowns. “It is, mostly. It’s short for Mingyu. Kim Mingyu. You’ve seen it on the receipts.”
You haven’t, but you believe him. You try out the name. “Mingyu.”
A corner of his mouth curls into a smile. He puts his hands in his coat pockets. “Tell me that hasn’t been your only hangup this whole time.”
“I-I mean…” you stammer. “N-no? I mean, it’s been one thing, but like…you’re, like. Um. You seem very…successful, and I’m…”
He frowns. “You’re successful, too. I—wait. Is this…is it money?”
“I guess I’m just…embarrassed,” you say, feeling your face burn in shame. “Maybe my pride’s too big, I dunno.”
“Hey, I don’t want you to think this is some weird, fetish-y charity case thing I have, or that I think you can be, like, bought or something,” he says, looking serious. “If you really can’t accept the money, I won’t stop you from giving it back.”
He sighs, teeth worrying his lower lip. “I just…I like you. I always have. You seem to be the only person who doesn’t realize it, or maybe I’m the idiot who can’t take a hint, but—”
“Mingyu—”
“But I really do,” he continues doggedly. “I think you work hard, but you’re so kind. You do good work so that you can be kind, so you can give people more than just something to eat or drink, and that’s just…it’s really—”
“I could kiss you right now for that,” you say, then slap a hand over your mouth. Dude??
Mingyu blinks, then laughs. “At least let me take you to dinner first.”
You wish you could sink into the pavement, even as your heart gives a silly little leap. He wants to take me to dinner. “I…I’m…”
“I know it’s Christmas Eve and you’ve got places to be,” he says, and you wonder if he looks a little nervous. “But I really would like to see you. Outside of work. Would you let me take you out sometime?”
You stand there for a moment in stupefied silence. Holy shit, this has to be a dream. A man like Kim Mingyu doesn’t just…give your workplace thousands of dollars to tip you and then ask you to dinner. What in the name of Wattpad...
“I…you’re fucking insane,” you laugh, breathless.
He looks like he doesn’t know how to take this, and before you can talk yourself out of it you find yourself saying, “I’m, uh, I’m free on New Years?”
A slow grin spreads over his face. “Yeah? Funny enough, so am I.”
Definitely the strangest Christmas Eve you’ve ever had. But it may also be your new favorite.

The Ides of March
(A Darren Treacy x Jeanie Turner mini-series)
Chapter 2 - Drunken Lullabies
Word Count- 1500
Warnings: language, minor drug and alcohol use, smut: oral sex (fem!receiving), sex
A/N: On Saint Patrick’s Day, Darren and Jeanie start receiving ominous, cryptic text messages claiming to be from the future. Play the game; save Darren. Jeanie’s rules are simple enough: If Dazz can catch her, he can have her any way and anywhere he wants. So how did a night of wild sex and whiskey lead to murder?
 Prologue      Chapter 1
Tumblr media
Darren started at his mobile willing it to do something. Anything. Ever since he stepped foot inside The Temple he became unsettled. The texts from earlier in the evening (as he and Tommy watched Siobhan spiral into a drugged out drunken mess) implored Darren to give a wide berth to Nidge and Git. Git the IRA kingpin whose son almost murdered Aido. Whose car in retaliation Darren bombed.
The texts warned whatever Jeanie said, or wanted him to do, he should. She was in as much danger as Darren now. So he played the red-head’s game.
Darren knew Jeanie came a bit undone by the divorce papers. How long could they have kept on like they were? In hotels and his gaff and once or twice at the parlor Fran and Nidge owned. Gordon’s women were never the same, but his wife was having a proper affair. What a blow to someone’s ego. They were just lucky it hadn't ended in someone getting shot. Again. You can't live without both lungs.
Now Darren nursed a beer in between several shots and a clandestine bump of something or other. He stopped keeping track the last few weeks. The club was doing a good job of drowning out his thoughts as the bass filled his brain. He caught sight of Jeanie, Siobhan, Gordon's sister Laura and Ewan (Jeanie's best friend from Scotland) thrashing away on the dancefloor to a No Doubt song.
That pile of red hair wild and untamed as she jumped and spun and shook her body, a bottle of cider precarious in her fingers. Their eyes caught and Jeanie wiggled her fingers for him to join them. Darren shook his head even as Siobhan joined in the enticement by grinding on his.. whatever she was. The women quickly kissed with passion, and faced him again. Dazz rolled his eyes and smiled, a smidge turned on, but found himself far too distracted by the phone.
Not much later, lost somehow in liquor and concentration, a shot slid past a handful of patrons and collided with Darren's knuckles. Perturbed, he glanced up as someone shouted from the far end of the bar. That ginger hair drenched and frizzy as a massive grin spread across Jeanie’s face.
“Catch me if you can!!”
Darren's phone buzzed; he nearly pissed his pants. A text came through. He checked to see if it was Red, but she had vanished as quickly as she had arrived.
She bought a shot for a guy the first time around. American, like her. They danced and drank and fucked in the toilets. That's where she is. Third floor in the rooftop bar. It's empty.
Darren scratched his head and made his way upstairs without hesitation. He found the ladies and knocked feeling stupid. Before Jeanie could answer, he opened the door to find her leaning forward to reapply something in a giant bamboo vanity. Her breasts pushed together in the corset were on full display as she caught him staring in the mirror.
“Damn, I thought that would be harder.” She pursed her lips and winked. Her hands were anchored on either side of a small sink; her eyes were heavy lidded. She lowered herself slightly so that her ass stuck out and glanced right back at Darren. “Guess you're just gonna have to fuck me.”
In two long strides, Darren was behind Jeanie. His face got lost in her hair as he let his hand caress her neck. He squeezed but only for a moment. Just a taste. She muffled a moan before his fingers slid inside the soft leather of her top so that he could fondle and pinch a nipple. Then the other as he kissed and bit her bare shoulder.
“Fucking me from behind so we can watch in the mirror?” Jeanie pushed herself against Darren's easily produced erection. She took his free hand and slipped it beneath her pleated skirt.
“I t’ought I’d fuck ye another way,” he growled in her ear. Darren pumped his fingers in and out of Jeanie to make her wet. Except no work was really needed for that either. “Are ye just ready for me all the time? Spread your legs,” he demanded.
Jeanie went along with what he wanted. She widened her stance so that her feet were shoulder width apart. Darren grinned and got down on his knees behind her. His face level with her ass which he exposed by lifting her skirt. She gave a sharp inhale.
Before she could talk, Darren bent to kiss the backs of Jeanie's thighs. His lips warm on her bare skin where he tore her fishnets earlier. They traveled up over her ass and under the pleats. He alternated from one cheek to the next with dramatic kisses that felt like his entire mouth. That heavy, punctuated breath like every time they had sex formed goosepimples every inch of Jeanie's body.
“Ohhhh,” it was a sigh as Darren kept at it. “Ohhh,” she repeated with a moan at the sensation of his tongue on her ass and thighs.
A third time she repeated the same sentiment when he switched positions from being behind Jeanie to between her legs. His back to the vanity and sink. Head underneath her skirt now while Darren's hands dug into the same curves and softness he had been kissing moments before.
“I t’ought,” his words jumbled by fabric and thighs. The air hot on her sex while he spoke, “You could sit on my face.”
Jeanie tried to brace herself on the sink top. Her hands slid forward as Darren snaked his tongue inside. He flicked it back and forth a few times before withdrawing it and sucking on her slit. He kissed it like he did her mouth before replacing his lips with his tongue. He dragged it painfully, slowly along the outside. Then it dipped in and out.
Unable to balance completely, Jeanie made a poor attempt at steadying herself with fingers wrapped up in Darren's hair. Or what he had left. The thought made Jeanie laugh even as she panted and her breathing quickened. The tip of his tongue collided with her clit finally, and she pulled his head forward.
Darren worked hungrily now. His lips and tongue in a frenzy while Jeanie started to rock into his face. It was like the faster he made his mouth go, the quicker he could get his prize. Making Jeanie cum was always a gift. Not for her. For him.
As his jaw began to ache with the pace he set, Darren thought about every time Jeanie got off. Real or not, sometimes he caught the signs it was actually happening. Like how the hood around her clit would contract against his finger or tongue. How it did now as she cried out “Fuck!” and came as her back arched out of reflex with her thighs tightened around his face. He wasn't quite sure he ever noticed before her.
Darren wasn't exactly drowning in sexual experience. He had been with maybe another girl besides Rosie and Jeanie. He knew Rosie wasn't keen on experimenting or showing him how she liked it. So Darren had to improv. Maybe half the time she got off.
He definitely wasn't into the prostitutes at the cathouse like Tommy and Nidge and Elmo. So the way Jeanie actually had orgasms motivated Darren to do it more. Better. She always told him what to do, how hard or fast or what to touch. Darren could make her cum multiple times. It was an ego trip.
How long could he keep Jeanie in the ladies to make sure she was safe? The texts never said how, but his phone vibrated in his back pocket. He ignored it.
Darren's brain was muddled with thought as Jeanie lowered herself just above his lap. She started to undo his belt and pants to free his cock which she hovered over. He held the edge of the counter above his head as she sank down on his erection. Her knees on either side of him and started to ride as quick and rough as his mouth fucked her before. Darren couldn't stop her as her mouth consumed his own to taste the orgasm still on his lips.
They could only have so much sex. Darren's chest was starting to hurt, and he knew Jeanie's legs probably wouldn't work too well tomorrow. There had to be someplace more comfortable they could wait out the rest of the night.
“Stop. Stop.” he held Jeanie's body fast. “I need a breather. One lung. This is painful as fuck, darling. I know someplace softer we can go.”

The Lost One (Alec Volturi x Reader) Chapter Three. The Confrontation
Tumblr media
Every vampire was in the large open field. You where standing in the back along with your coven. You felt slightly nervous as to what might happen. It was quiet for what felt like a long time, while in reality it might have been just a mere 30 minutes. Suddenly a Garrett was slightly jumping up and down in excitement. "The redcoats are coming! The redcoats are coming!" You took a deep breath, filling your lungs with fresh air as you saw the Volturi making their way onto the field. Siobhan, Liam and Maggie where standing in front of you, slightly blocking your view. Why everyone wanted to keep you in the back, you didn't know. Probably because your gift wasn't that usefull in a battle. The oldest vampire with dark brown hair and milky red eyes looked over the crowd infront of him. The vampires made a halt and removed their hoods, showing their angelic faces and blood red eyes. Carlisle took a few steps foreward, away from Esme. "Aro, let us discuss things as we used too. In a civilized maner." Carlisle's voice was calm and polite. The dark haired vampire had a small smile on his face as he replied. "Fair words Carlisle. But a little out of place given the betallion you have assembled against us." the man's voice was soft and smooth. As if he had done confrontations like this before. "I can promise you, that was never my intent." Carlisle replied. Aro looked at Bella and Renesmee. "No laws have been broken." Carlisle continued. You slightly stepped a side to have a better look at your foes. "We see the child. Do not treat us as fools." a blond vampire male said. He was standing next to Aro and he had a bitter look on his face. Like a man who was out for revenge. "She is not an immortal! These witnesses can attest to that." Carlisle replied, raising his voice slightly so every vampire and werewolf on the field could hear him. "You can look. See the flush of human blood on her cheeks." "Artifice!" the blond vampire replied, not believing a thing Carlisle was saying. You stepped away a little bit more from your coven. You where intrigued by these vampires. They all wore the same crest around their necks, the same crest you had laying in your pocket. The crest you have had since you where found. Aro held up his hand towards the blond vampire. "I will collect every facet of the truth, from someone more central to the story. Edward. As the child clings to your newborn mate, I will ask you." Aro said as he held out his hand. Edward slowly made his way towards Aro while every vampire watched him. The wind changed slightly and a delicious smell hit your nose. It was a vampire, you knew for sure, but normally vampires do not smell so tempting. So luring. You had to find out whom smelled so incredibly good. You let your eyes wonder down the vampires, but you didn't dare to go any further away from your coven than you already where. Instead, you concentrated back onto Aro and Edward. Aro grabbed Edwards hand and started to read his thoughts. A creepy smile slowly formed on Aro's lips. "I'd like to meet her." he told Edward, looking at Renesmee. Edward looked back to his wife and daughter. Bella nodded at Renesmee assuringly and started to make their way towards Aro, Jacob the werewolf close behind them. Emmett followed too, making sure Renesmee had enough protection. "Ah. Young Bella." Aro said, looking at Bella. "Immortality becomes you." his smile never leaving his face. Aro suddenly laughed and pointed at Renesmee. His laugh was that of a crazy person. "I can hear her strange heart." Aro held out his hand for Rensemee as she slowly made her way towards him. "Hello Aro." Renesmee said politely. Renesmee gently placed her hand on Aro's cheek and Aro seemed amazed by her talent. "Magnifico." he said before pulling away. Bella quickly pulled Renesmee back to her arms safely. "Half mortal, half immortal. Conceived and carried by this newborn, while she was still human." he continued, speaking mostly to the Volturi. "Impossible!" the blond vampire replied. "Do you think they fooled me brother?" Aro asked the blond vampire. "Bring out the informer." the blond vampire said, his voice cold. You knew he was out for death. He seemed to be the one of the three to be the most mercyless. A blond female vampire with gold eyes was brought towards him. The blond vampire pointed at Renesmee. "Is that the child you saw?" The female looked at Renesmee and looked down. "I-I am not sure." she replied. "Jane." the male said. A lot of vampires around you tensed up. You couldn't quite understand why. Clearly you should have done more research to this coven, but you had been to scared. You didn't wanted to be found, or known around the vampire world. Truth be told, only your coven and Carlisle knew of your excistence before all this had happened. You liked living in the shadows, no one knowing about you and she not knowing about any one else. "She has changed." the female quickly continued. "This child is bigger." "Then your accusations where false." the male still spoke with that icy voice. "The Cullens are innocent. I take full responsibility for my mistake." the female vampire said. She turned to look at the group. "I am sorry." she whispered slightly. Suddenly a torch was lit and the tension rose. "Caius no!" Edward yelled at the blond vampire. The female got her arms ripped and head ripped off by two Volturi vampires while Caius set her body on fire, an evil smirk plastered on his porcelain face. Tanya and Kate let out a scream of pain and tried to get to Caius, but they where held back by the allies. "Blind them." Edward told Zafrina. Zafrina quickly blinded them and Edward tried to reason with the sisters. The sisters calmed down quickly. "Ah, Alice." Aro suddenly said. The ally group turned around and saw Alice and Jasper make their way towards Aro. She held out her hand to Aro and he gladly took it. Clearly what he saw scared him. You had slowly dared to look at the vampires again. At the blond vampire Caius. You wondered what made him so cold, so vile. Then you noticed a woman in the back, protected by many guards. She looked exhausted, even though her features where beautifull, she looked like she was guilty of something and tired of feeling that guilt for a long time. "That is what your future holds, if you do not change your course." Alice said, removing her hand from Aro's. "We can not alter our course. The child still poses a great threat." Caius said to Aro. "And what if you can be assured that she can be concealed from the human world? Could we leave in peace?" Edward asked. "Ofcourse, but that can not be known." Caius replied. "Actually it can." Edward replied and with that a male and female vampire made their way onto the field. "I have been searching for witnesses on my own." Alice said. "Among the Tacuna tribes of Brazil." "We have enough witnesses-" Caius wanted to say but was cut off by Aro. "Let him speak, brother." "I am half human, half vampire. Like the child." the male vampire started. "A vampire seduced my mother, who died giving birth to me. My aunt Huilen raised me as her own. I made her immortal." "How old are you?" Bella asked, interrupting his story. "150 years." the man replied. "At what age did you reach maturity?" Aro asked intrigued. "I became full grown, seven years after my birth. I have not changed since then." the male replied. "And your diet?"Aro asked. "Blood. Human food. I can survive on either." "These children are much like us." The, what you assumed, third brother spoke in amazement. "Regardless, the Cullens have been consulting with werewolves. Our natural enemies!" Caius spoke. Aro put a hand on his brother's shoulder and turned to his coven. "Dear ones. There is no danger here. We will not fight, today." Aro spoke. all the allies relaxed. All of them except one. Aro turned back around. "However, I would like to invite Renesmee to stay with us for a while, I would much like to study her gift." Aro said smiling. "Absolutely not." Edward replied. Aro frowned. "You did have an offer in mind though, Edward?" Aro asked. Edward nodded. "My daughter will stay with us. In exchange we will return Caius and Arthenodora's daughter." Many vampires gasped. Caius froze where he stood, rage in his eyes. Athenodora quickly made her way foreward. Never had she interfered with the Volturi, but this vampire claimed to have her daughter. Caius gently held Athenodora's arm to prevent her from running towards the Cullens. "Is this a cruel joke? Who might it be then?!" Caius said. Suddenly you felt two hands on both yout arms. Your eyes grew wide, and you struggled. However, Edward and Emmett carried me towards the Volturi. If your heart could beat, it would be racing now. "What are you doing?!" Siobhan asked. You where a part of her coven and she would protect you. Liam and Maggie rushed foreward along with Siobhan, but Zafrina blinded the three vampires. Caius glared down at you. "And why would you think this girl is my daughter?" Caius spat. You felt alarmed. If the Cullens where wrong you would all be killed. You didn't know much about Caius, but you did know that he did not give second chances. However, Athenodora examined you. She slowly got out of her husband's grip and made her way to the girl. "Forgive me, but could you remove your jacket and show your left shoulder?" Athenodora's voice held hope. You sighed and slowly removed your leather jacket, leaving you in your black tanktop, your left shoulder bare. Athenodore ran her finger gently across your birthmark. It was shaped as a small, imperfect heart. "Impossible." Caius mumbled. You felt like shaking, but you held it together. "(y/n)?" Athenodora whispered. Your eyes grew wide and you quickly took a few steps back. Caius still couldn't believe it. He was scared to believe it. Edward grabbed your jacket from your grip and took out your necklace. Caius eyes grew wide at the sight of the necklace. Edward threw it towards Caius, whom catched it. "How did you get this?!" Caius yelled at you. You flinched back a little. "The woman who found me said she founded me with that necklace around my neck. I have had it for as long as I can remember." you replied, looking at your shoes. "When where you born?" Aro asked.  "Well my mother found me around 500 AD." Athenodora walked towards her husband. They looked into eachother's eyes as she nodded her head slightly. Caius held out his hand to Aro whom took it, eager to know his answer. "Very well. We will accept your offer. However-" Aro was interupted my Caius. "However, if it turns out that she is not my daughter I will kill her and your whole family." Edward nodded in agreement. You suddenly felt rage inside you. "Thanks for giving me a headstart, Edward." Edward avoided your gaze. "You will be fine. Renesmee deserves her parents and you deserve yours." You glared at him as Felix grabbed your arm, letting you know they where leaving. You looked at Siobhan, Liam and Maggie. "I will miss you." Siobhan nodded her head, even though blinded she knew you where talking to their coven. "If you ever can escape, feel free to rejoin us. You will always have a spot in our coven." Siobhan replied. You nodded gratefully and turned your piercing gaze back at Edward. "If they end up killing me, Edward Cullen. I will find a way to kill you and your little family." and with that you turned around, leaving your so called allies behind.

Hi there, it's me, the Banshee fan who's been lurking on your blog. Similarities and Differences: Angel x Cordelia and Lucas x Siobhan. I'd really love to hear your opinion on this xoxo
Hi, fellow Banshee fan! Were you the one who asked me to compare Angel and Hood? Because I remember I had a blast writing that! Anytime you want to chat about Banshee, I’m here! I have some questions for you! Do you love both Angel and Hood? What are your ships?
It’s so interesting that you’re comparing Cangel to Hood/Siohhan. I never though to do that. Actually, I never thought to compare Banshee to the Buffyverse at all, so I love that you’re challenging me to do so!
I guess Cordelia/Siobhan have similar roles in Angel’s/Hood’s life. They were both good friends who became something more. They both died too. However, I think, romantically speaking, Siobhan meant a lot more to Hood than Cordelia did to Angel.
Cordelia and Angel’s romantic relationship never really took off, especially on Angel’s side. I think it meant more to Cordelia. But their friendship was strong, and it’s that friendship that Angel will remember and cherish forever.
Siobhan and Hood were good friends before they began sleeping together, but they weren’t that close. I know it sounds contradictory: how can good friends not be close? But it’s true. They were as close as Hood ever was to someone who wasn’t Carrie, Sugar, or Job - which, of course, meant that Hood was hiding his identity, his past, and his secret life, from Siobhan. But they were good friends because they trusted each other, particularly as coworkers. Hood doesn’t trust people easily, but he respects good people, which Siobhan was. They were more than work friends, though. Hood helped Siobhan deal with her violent ex, and Siobhan was part of the group that saved Hood from Rabbit in season 1.
However, their friendship probably wouldn’t have progressed past that point had it not been for the fact that Hood and Siobhan started sleeping together on the regular. Sex can connect people, but that’s especially true for Hood. Most of the time, after Hood sleeps with a woman, he’ll feel a certain amount of loyalty and affection toward her. This happened, for example, with Rebecca. Sex can be a very intimate experience for Hood, especially if it happens with a friend. Hood is starved for human touch, which usually occurs during sex for him. In bed, he’ll lower his guard a bit, let the other person in. Sex with Siobhan brought the two of them closer. They started sharing meals, riding to work together, talking about normal stuff. After everything that happened with Carrie (whom he still loved), Hood began to move on. He fell in love with Siobhan. Hard. When she died, she had just found out the truth about Hood, who was so scared of losing her. They were going to talk things through though. Hood would’ve left Banshee with her, for her. Siobhan’s death destroyed him. Hood felt so guilty about her death, because of the pain he caused her. He hallucinated her.He avenged her death.
I’m a Carrie/Hood shipper all the way. They never fell out of love with each other. But they fell in love with their partners too. They moved on. Hood loved Siobhan differently than he loved Carrie. Carrie was tougher and more complicated. She knew Hood better than anyone. She and Hood were partners before they started dating. They have a child together. They comfort each other the way only family can. Their love is unconditional, and built on years upon years of trust, affection, and good and bad memories. The love Hood felt for Siobhan was intense, and he will always remember her as more than a lover: someone he was in love with. But I think he moved on from her death by the end of the show. I do question myself on who was the love of Hood’s life, so to speak. Carrie? Or Siobhan?
Based on everything I just said, you can imagine why Angel and Cordelia are very different from Hood and Siobhan. Angel wasn’t in love with Cordelia. He was and will always be in love with Buffy. She is, hands down, the love of his life. Cordelia will always be a very good friend, who who almost like sister, before their relationship changed.
Angel lost Cordelia long before she died, and he was fine. He hurt, but his grief wasn’t crippling. He lost a friend. He didn’t lose the possibility of a happily ever after, or the chance of being loved by someone who knew the truth about him.
Angel and Cordelia are, on the whole, mostly platonic. That’s their legacy. But Hood and Siobhan had an epic love story, which I can appreciate despite not being a shipper. Their (romantic) love was beautiful, deep, organic. Cordelia and Angel’s romance was awkward, forced, fleeting.
Thanks for the ask!!!
I would really, really, love it if you told me what you thought of this post! I don’t have anyone to discuss Banshee with, and it’d be great to know what someone thought of my Banshee meta.

Goodbye
*Notes at the end under the cut.*
Cayde-6 x Nevia / Major Character Death / Grief / Loss / Revenge / Mind Manipulation / Forsaken DLC Spoilers
Tumblr media
~~~~
The huntress stands in front of a cold memorial. The sky over the Last City opens up and rain pours down onto her, offering her the tears her own body wasn’t able to give anymore. Her heart and her soul feel empty. The displays of comfort, hugs, pats on the shoulder, kind words, they’re all worth nothing. The cloak in her hands has the weight of a planet. They say if a hunter picks up the cloak of a dead comrade, it’s a vow. This is so much more than that. He was so much more than that. He was her Vanguard, best friend, lover, husband, partner in crime, rock in the stormy sea..
Coco sits next to her. Her dog whines in worry about the distress of her owner, but she doesn’t react. She never learned how to deal with grief on this level. It’s something completely unknown to her. So she reacts the only way, she can think about. With hate.
Her hand clench into the soaked cloth she is holding. She reaches up and rips loose the tie of Efrideet’s mantle. It drops silently to the floor. The huntress throws his cloak over her shoulders, correcting the scarf and the ties, clicking the buckles to her armor. She pulls the hood over her head and looks down at Coco.
Quickfang is resting heavy at her waist. She pulls out the sword and slams it into the wet ground. This is her vow and no one will stop the thirst for blood and revenge in her veins. Memories of soft touches, the unnatural warmth of his synthetic body, laughter and nights spent fooling around, they all vanish and are replaced with something cold and dark.
The emptiness is crushing and if she can’t fill it with love, she will fill it with hate, no matter if it will eat her alive from the inside or not.
Chia tries to stop her, Siobhan waits a bit further down the street and does the same. They both fail. She slaps Sio’s hand away and marches towards their apartment. They will all pay. The Fallen, the Awoken. If she has to, she will drown this whole system in blood.
Back in familiar walls, which are supposed to be her home but now it just feels like hell, she opens the door to her locker. A well known humming in the back of her mind, as she unlocks the door. She reaches for the gauntlets and straps them to her arm.
“There you are, oh Hunter mine. Hmmm.. Your heart is full of delicious revenge. Shall we begin then?” The voice in her head is pleased, she knows it.
The huntress nods, grabs her Better Devils and leaves for the hangar. She will drown this system in blood.
This was written as a coping try for yesterday’s trailer reveal. Nevia’s out for blood but their story ends here for the moment. I will not accept any prompts for them anymore, until I feel safe to return to writing them.
All my other feelings are put into a seperate post. For now, I decided to leave their stories online but if it gets worse, I might just delete them.
We’ll see.
Thanks for reading.
To celebrate Banshee's Season 3 premiere this Friday at 10pm, I really, really want to rock a Banshee Icon.
Any Banshee fans on here know where I can get my hands on any Siobhan/Lucas icons? Sadly there isn't much online for this wonderful show and I can't find any.
If any of you can help, I'd greatly appreciate it. And for those that haven't checked out this show yet, I highly recommend it. It's high octane for those who love lots of action and kickass fight scenes.
Words unspoken.
@seigephoenix kept bugging me about fluff for Nevia and Cayde and after today, I really needed some dumb, toothrotting fluff. This goes without edit. We die like men, or women? lol
~~~
Pairing: Cayde-6 x Female Guardian
Rating: This is so fluffy, it doesn’t need one.
Set months after the Red war.
~~~
The EDZ was silent, except for some animal calls around the forest. The region around the farm was not so crowded anymore, since nearly everyone moved back to the tower, after Siobhan defeated space rhino Gary. The images and the voice of Savathun in her mind still haunted her, so did the thought of what was to come. Oryx’s sisters sure wouldn’t sit idle and do nothing.
“Nevia! Watch where you’re driving!” Cayde’s voice ripped her out of her thoughts and she turned her gaze forward, eyes widening. A Rock, half into the ground was in her way, since she had left their original path slightly. It was this, or rip her sparrow around, but that would give Cayde advantage and she wouldn’t allow that.
So she upped the tempo, the engine howling and bright, white light following her, as she took the rock without much troubles and launched her sparrow into the air. She let go with her feet and one hand, stretching them out while yelling in excitement. If there were any Fallen in the area, they knew now, that they were here, but she didn’t give a single shit about it. From below she heard Cayde’s laughter and the free flight gave her a high, adrenaline rushing through her veins and the huntress only grabbed her vehicle again, when she nearly reached the ground.
With a crash, her sparrow landed in front of Cayde and she gave him a small wave, before speeding up again, racing along the destroyed streets.
“These are the coordinates, that Cayde gave us.”, Chia spoke over her comm system to her, since she was safely settled into her hood. Nevia slowed down and eventually stopped, sitting on her sparrow and looking around. Only a moment later, the Exo hunter arrived next to her. This place was beautiful. It was an opening in the middle of the forest, clear night sky, the ruins of various villages in the background. Chia freed herself and flew off to explore their surroundings, followed by Aos.
“How long to you think the search party will take, until they’re looking for us?” She gave him a small smile and climbed off her sparrow. Nevia would have preferred to leave in casual clothes, but they were still in enemy territory, so she took her Iron Banner armor.
“Pfft, I don’t know. I left a note for Ikora and Sio also knows, where we are going.” The other hunter jumped off his vehicle and reached for her hand. “Can we not think about the others right now?”
They made their way further onto the opening, the cool breeze gently brushing her face. “What are we even doing here?” Though her lover didn’t answer, instead he let go of her hand and grabbed his throwing knife. Nevia frowned slightly as Cayde sent it flying with one swift and powerful movement into a tree. He went to grab it and carved a circle into the wood.
“We’re going to throw knives. I know you have yours with you.” His artificial eyes carried a smug expression, though she only crossed her arms over her chest.
“You know, as well as I do, that I can’t aim with a throwing knife for the death of me.”
“Then it’s good, that we have Chia to revive you, hm?” He now stood in front of her, looking down into her bright eyes, which her narrowed with a skeptical expression. Slowly, she took his own knife from his hand, and leaned her body against his.
“You’re such a romantic.”
That causes Cayde to chuckle. “You know, what you signed up for, now go, before we end up on the ground.” Not that she would mind that option, but it’s apparently not why they were here. The huntress walked around him, facing the tree he had attacked before. Her eyes looked down onto the knife. This was going to be bad. She swirled the blade around between her fingers. Nevia was fine with stabbing an enemy on close range. She always had been more the in-your-face-type of hunter.
She took aim.. a deep breath..threw the knife..and missed. It landed on the ground just a few meters away. She rolled her eyes and took her own blade and tried again. This time, she actually hit the tree, though far above target. “This is stupid, Cayde. I’m fine with jumping at a Fallen Captain’s face but this?..”
“You give up to early.” He picked up his knife and walked up behind her, pulling her against his chest. “Here, let me show you.” The Exo gently put her fingers around the hold and leaned down a little. This was totally not making her nervous. Not at all. She would forget everything he would say within five minutes. “Your stand must be more steady. You little pole dancers are always so jumpy..”
Nevia bumped him into the side with her elbow, causing a quiet laugh out of him, but then tried at least to focus again, while he readjusted her arm. After a few moments, Cayde let go. “Now try.”
And she did. The knife rushed through the air and hitting the wood inside of the circle, staying in place. The huntress threw her arms into the air and cheered for herself, though she turned around quickly. “You, sir, made me nervous.”
“Uh-huh. Sure.” He dodged away from the playful punch and grabbed her by the waist, lifting her a little. Nevia got the hint and wrapped her legs around his middle. Cayde looked her right in the eye, as he let himself fall backwards, landing in the soft moss of the forest ground, Nevia giggling, as she tried to balance herself. She made herself comfortable though and traced the outlines of his faceplates with her fingertips.
“I should be chasing you back to the tower.. One of us has to be responsible, you know?”
“Maybe you should.. but will you?”
Nevia moved off him, laying down on her side, her head on his chest, so that she was still able to see the sky. His warm body drew her in, as always. She reached for his hand and they intertwined their fingers. The small sparks from her arc power dancing around the soft glow of his solar light.
“Been too long, since I was out here..” His voice sounded more thoughtful, than usual. “Sometimes, it feels like, I forget what it means to be a hunter..”
She sighed and pushed herself up for a moment, kissing his temple and settling down again. “You’re a good Vanguard and one hell of a hunter, Cayde.. And we can always sneak you out, if it gets too bad..” She understood the feeling, of being trapped or locked up in the city, having the same pull towards the wilds, like he did.
The huntress turned her gaze a little and caught him watching her. A soft smile was on her lips and she felt, like she should say something.. But it wouldn’t get over her lips.. So she basically laid down again and searched for answers between the stars.
