the way the creepypasta goes (from my memory) is generally how it always do: Haunted Cartridge, sorta. Hacked. 

a girl and her little brother love pokemon games, they also dig the hacked shit. brother was playing a hacked version (or smth, gameshark’d) of Gold when he suddenly flipped out, had to be admitted to the hospital For Sudden Onset Of Crazies, and was blaming the game. girl’s like Huh and boots up the alleged Crazy-Baker 9000 Simulator (Pokemon Edition) and finds what’s now known as Easter Egg Snow On Mt Silver

oh yeah that’s like. the official title. its full title is Easter Egg - Snow on Mt. Silver.

protag character trainer Gold - named Blake in this save file - is on Mt Silver, a snowy mountaintop where Trainer Red (the same from Pokemon Red) absconded to to train his pokemon in isolation after becoming champion. 

Red’s been AFK for years at this point, talking to exactly no one, just fucked right off. i haven’t played Gold so idk if this is post-game content (i think it is) but you can go to Mt Silver and battle Red normally.

however, with this hacked game, you open up to being on Mt Silver and the screen is just swathed in static snow. (haha get it?) it’s hard to see anything in there, but you have a full team of pokemon, starting with a Typhlosion (fire). if you try to turn back into the cave entrance behind you, Blake will make comments like “it’s too late now” “i can’t go back” “it’s too late to go back”, and so you can’t leave.

you have a Pidgeot and try to use Fly, but you can’t fly out of that weather. only one way to go, and it’s up. so you guide Blake up the mountain but damn it’s slow moving; and i mean, you’re in snow, so.. it makes sense, right? and it gets slower and slower to move him, but as you’re climbing, Blake stops, and you get a notification that: “I’m cold.”

then you keep walking. then a notification that Meganium has died. what the fuck??? open up the party, and sure enough— him ded. it’s got a red X on it even the sprite’s all fucked up ten ways to sunday, even the cry’s all distorted!! well shit. might as well check on Blake's sprite too huh in his trainer ID?? .. hm well. looks kinda pale but. sorta ok i guess. normal.

as you advance, you get another notification. Pidgeot has died. Lucia has died. all one after the other until it’s just Typhlosion left and you’ve gone into the next cave at the top. it’s a long hallway, no snow, but it leads you to a platform. now from what I understand, that’s where you generally meet Red to battle him in the normal game, but here, there’s a pokeball. go and touch it :)

oh no it’s Celebi! —fucked up Celebi!! mfer’s gotten George Foreman grilled on one side, man it looks rough. but it doesn’t even let you battle, it doles out Perish Song (a Move that faints both the user and opposing pokemon in 3 turns) and there’s a horrific AOL dial-up bastard child noise singing the perish eardrums song of her people. Blake faints but doesn’t get a lfit off the mountain, instead he reappears in a dark dark room in a dark dark hall (haha see what i did there) and checking his trainer ID card..

.. dude lookin fukt the fukt UUUUPPPPP. he’s missing one leg, missing an arm (on the other side), missing an eye, black tears, the whole of him either ghost white or tinted blue. our mans Jack Dawson back in pokeblack (wrong this is gold. pokemon black is a different pokepasta before actual pokemon black. long story) (but also depending on the fan version of the game your lil sprite on screen will also be missing a leg and arm so u can just watch his cute little fat self hobble up the hall it’s great)

as you guide him up he’ll pause and say “It’s so cold” “Mother…..” “It feels so cold” “I can’t go on” every now and then and get slower and slower and slower, the hall darker and darker, then there’s an exit at the top (again, depending on fan game, it’s either pure white or flashing)

DAYUM IT’S WHITE AF OUT HEERREEE you’re in the Void. just walk it’s fine. oh look it’s Red. as per usual Red greets you with an exuberant monologue (“…”) and a battle starts.

every single one of Red’s party is one of the same sort of fucked up looking dead sprites you see in YOUR party. you only have Typhlosion left and he’s got 6 health. every single one of Red’s pokemon uses struggle, which does 1 damage to you, and murderized the user (“Venusaur has died!”) all Red has to say about it is “………..” like a true fuckin salt-lickin’ champ, vagueing Blake to the very end here i salute you big guy, and basically you just go through his entire team until….

FREAKACHUUUU BABBAAEEEYYYYY

so freakachu uses Pain Split which well. evenly splits the damage dealt, which ultimately kills Typhlosion as well as Freakachu and ends the battle. when Red comes back onto the screen, he too has lost an arm, leg, his whole-ass jaw, and got some gut removal surgery going as well. 

it goes back to your two sprites. Red finally pipes up and says, “It’s over.” and then the screen says “ USED DESTINY BOND!” and once again we are treated to aaaaaAAAÁAEEUUAAÄAGZZZĖEEEEEAAAEAEEEEAZZAAEEEEEæaAÃEEEEGGeeeęeeeeEEÉÈË to take home wiht us and the screen goes black.

c’est fini. the girl takes the game and the gameshark and just pitches the mfer. checks the gameboy to make sure it’s not all just fucked up, relieved when pikachu is still a lil preppy mfer in a different game she has, happy-trauma-cries about it.

that winter, however, the snow fell thick.

aannndd THAT’S the gist of Easter Egg - Snow on Mt. Silver!! you can ofc read the entire thing and there are fan games out there (links n stuff at end) but now about fnf lullaby. FNF = Friday Night Funkin’, which is a rhythm game; a lullaby comes from the pokepasta Hypno’s Lullaby, a rhyme based off the official pokedex entry for Hypno that’s uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

well the pokemon company had fun with it at least and released an actual shirt about it

now i’m not going to get into fnf lullaby (and fnf lullaby v2) other than say that fnf lullaby is a whole mod for fnf based off of pokepastas. there was a song in the first version of the mod called Monochrome (that people just LOVE playing because the mechanics are SO fun and easy :) ) that was based off ANOTHER pokepasta for Gold (trainer name Ethan), that got a Snow on Mt Silver mod for a minute there.

but then lullaby v2 had a full ass song for mt silver called Frostbite.

but. god i’m so good at staying on track lmao. idk. there’s something special about snow on mt silver. i have my own ideas about it, but this has gotten wildly long as it is, so perhaps later LOL but until then, here are some links <3

you mentioned in some of your tags that you don’t know what the fanon/general fandom opinions were. from what I’ve seen (I’m also a new fan) vi/caitlyn is pretty big (my guess would be because of how blatant it is), however, with...idk how to put this? average LOL fans think it was rushed and don’t like it. tumblr, of course, is into it tho. jayce/viktor is also huge. a lot of people seem to resonate with jinx and silco’s familial relationships. I’ve also seen a lot of people in the fandom not recognize the ableism in Viktor’s arc, which is worrying. if you don’t care to spoil yourself on where these character’s arcs will go in future seasons, I suggest you look up the LOL lore of: vi, ekko, viktor, and jayce. some are just...a slap to the face. anyways, have a good day/evening.

okay so there is absolutely nothing wrong with being extroverted or loud so i hope u dont get that vibe from my response!! but you are gonna have to probably start off by toning it down!! i like to think of shy / introverted people as having similar mannerisms to most cats?? because, from like a personal perspective, for the most part cats are not going to enjoy having someone force attention on them fdngsdklj but if you display welcoming vibes (i.e. smiling at them, greeting them casually--this is mostly abt humans rn but this also lowkey applies to cats) and let them work up the nerve to feel more comfortable with you, that's always a good way to start!!

if you can start getting them to respond to u more positively and more comfortably, trying asking them like light hearted get to know u questions!!! not to be confused with small talk--speaking from the perspective of an introvert, if u make small talk with me i immediately want to exit the conversation and if u make a habit of it i will start to avoid u!!

i feel like if you're not super familiar with each other, questions like "how's your day been?" are kiiind of a good way to start if ur ready to rly engage and ask clarifying questions yknow? if they're kind of dismissive then don't be too discouraged! try and spark up a discussion abt like. ur surroundings/shared interests or experiences!! (NOT the weather. like. if ur in class u can be like "i rly like/dislike this subject/teacher/unit" or smth like that!!!) but dont like. come out the bat swinging with negativity like dont be like i HATE this class and the teacher SUCKS; it's all abt the energy you create in the space!!

uhhh i am trying to think of more tips but like. try and be consistent!!! if they start regularly talking to you and you, y'know, make gradual progress in getting to know them, they'll hopefully start being more comfortable with u!!

also!! try and be like. receptive of their social cues !!! shy people and/or introverts are either pretty obvious when they've had enough of a convo OR they're dangerously good at hiding it !! if u feel like they start to withdraw, i feel like you could either ask in a like. lighthearted way if everything's alright to see if you've said something to upset them or if you just get the inkling they wanna stop talking for the moment, TAKE THE CUE!!! don't just bail but maybe be like "i dont wanna hold you up or anything so i'll hopefully talk to you later!!" if theyre anything like me and you WEREN'T draining them, they'll hopefully say something like "no, youre not holding me up!!!" if they do say something like "okay ttyl!!" try not to take it personally!! it's probably not you!! its just their social battery is on low dsfglksdfjk

Kenma stared at his screen, wondering what he should say. His mind wandered, thinking about the fact that (Y/N) was somewhere out there, in the comforts of her own home, sitting and playing the same game he was playing. He thought about how she was probably sitting cross-legged, or slouched, or her back completely straight as she probably wore headphones over her ears, or earbuds tucked in the confines of her ears, or blasted the game soundtrack through the speakers of her computer. Kenma sighed, as he slouched back in his chair. A blush crept over his face. He was talking to his crush over a video game. It was practically like texting her. Kenma began to type once more.

No, no, no! What was he doing? He couldn’t possibly tell his crush about his crush! Why? Why would he do that?! He immediately typed in a “never mind.” Despite some protests from the other person, the two pretended to forget that ever happened.

All throughout the weekend, Kenma sulked and sulked. There was no particular reason, but he just felt so uncomfortable knowing that he told his crush that he had a crush on someone. There was also the factor that (Y/N) didn’t seem quite interested in what he had to say about his predicament, unlike past times where he could talk about anything he wanted and she would gladly contribute all she had to offer to help the poor boy out.

And so the terrible weekend had ended. It was a nice break for Kenma, being away from everything and everyone; he immersed himself in the virtual world as he let go of all of his worries. But now he had to face reality once more - he had to face (Y/N), the terrible final boss. He had so many more enemies he had to defeat (his teammates, according to Kenma), but the powerful weapon of ignoring them always beat them in the end.

He wanted to stay in his bad mood for the entire school day. It was his plan, and it was a really good plan, but (Y/N) just had to ruin it.

Kenma sat at his desk in his classroom that morning they returned from the weekend. He stared at the nothingness that lay before him on his desk until he heard the sweet sound of (Y/N)’s voice when she came through the door to the classroom. He heard her laugh as she greeted those around her a good morning. He relished in the music as she walked towards her desk.

“Good morning, Kenma-kun!” (Y/N) chirped, as she sat down. Kenma jumped at the sudden words, and he felt warmth everywhere, especially in his cheeks. He smiled at the sound of her greeting, and said one back. God, no one could make him feel the way she makes him feel when he’s around her. He took a deep breath, knowing that his unrequited love consumed his whole heart. Ah, if he were only as smooth as Kuroo was and knew his way with words.

Kenma frowned; from a mile away, one could tell he was clearly in a bad mood. He hung his head down low, as he was reminded of (Y/N)’s date last weekend.

“Kenma-kun, are you okay? Is there something wrong?” (Y/N) asked, her voice laced with concern. Her eyes studied his face, discontentment written all over it. She wondered what she should do; if only she could consult applepi in this situation. The setter faced (Y/N) and he smiled.

“Ah, it’s nothing, (Y/N)-san, please don’t worry,” he murmured, hoping that she would get the feeling that he would like to be left alone.

And so for the rest of the time they sat next to each other during class, (Y/N) thought about everything that applepi had advised her to do with every problem that she had:

(Y/N) looked down at her notes to see that she had written nothing compared to all the complicated words written on the blackboard. She had been staring at the blackboard daydreaming about how she had fallen in love with her internet best friend. (Y/N) thought it was silly, really; it was stupid how she had fallen in love over text on a screen. But those words, all of those words that some guy out there named “applepi” had accompanied her throughout her best and her worst times. She could stay up all night to see them up as well, fighting away enemies to clear the level. From in-game items to wise words of advice, (Y/N) owed so much to this person.

And Kenma had no idea that his crush liked him back.

(Y/N) was a very friendly person; everybody in the volleyball club could see that. It seemed to Kenma, of course, that (Y/N) was the friendliest with Kuroo Tetsuro, the captain. All throughout practice they would constantly make jokes with each other, teasing and pushing each other around. It hurt Kenma; it really did. But (Y/N) did not know that.

In fact, after that dreaded date over the weekend, (Y/N) and Kuroo promised to each other that they would not go out on a second date. They realized that they were better off as friends, for Kuroo could sense in (Y/N)’s eyes and her words that she had the ability to break Kenma out of his shell, even further than Hinata had done. But the point of the matter is: Kenma was taking this completely the wrong way. He watched with jealous eyes as Kuroo and (Y/N) shared playful banter. Her beautiful laugh rang in Kenma’s ears for all the wrong reasons.

As they practiced serving, Kuroo used this as an opportunity to try out his jump serves. He was consistent, but the one time he hit it into the net, (Y/N), who was watching for stray balls, called out to him, teased him to no end. The other teammates laughed on, especially Haiba Lev, whose serves were just as bad. Kenma mentally cursed at Kuroo, for stealing away (Y/N). He could never possibly curse at him for real; everyone would be in shock at his sudden outburst and ask him what was wrong. (Y/N) would ask him what was wrong. And if that happened… he would freeze up and definitely lose another life.

When they began practicing receiving, Taketora called out to Yaku to try out Karasuno’s libero’s “Rolling Thunder,” or whatever it was called, to which Kuroo made a sarcastic remark that Yaku could never pull off something as flashy as that. (Y/N) laughed, despite not knowing what the “Rolling Thunder” move was. Once again, Kenma mentally told off Kuroo to stop saying funny things that (Y/N) could laugh at. His jokes were the ones that made (Y/N) laugh; he knows this because she laughed at all the jokes he made over their chat in their video game.

During their water break, Kuroo and (Y/N) played a little chasing game as she playfully refused to hand him his water bottle. She tossed his bottle to Taketora, who then threw it to Fukunaga, handing it over to Yaku. Kuroo chased the libero around, who passed it on to Inuoka. He gave a hearty laugh as he tossed it to Lev. Silly, clumsy Lev called out to Kenma as the tall boy threw it to Kenma, who with his slow reaction did not catch it in time. The lid of the bottle flew open, and water poured out everywhere. Everyone else watched in shock, but the initial shock passed by them as they all began laughing.

Kenma thought they were all laughing at him.

The same ordeals continued even after the water break, and after a millennia later, the practice ended. Kenma, along with everyone else, helped clean up after practice. They also cleaned up the little water spill, which (Y/N) thanked Kenma for helping clean up.

Kenma changed his clothes in the club room. He was the only one inside, as Kuroo and (Y/N) were outside waiting for him. He could hear their laughter through the doors. Then they suddenly went silent. Kenma groaned, knowing that they were probably making out or something, as he buttoned his uniform back up.

He opened the door, and to his surprise, Kuroo and (Y/N) were actually not exploring each others’ mouths with their tongues. Instead, he opened the door to see a smirking Kuroo and a very, very flustered (Y/N). She gasped slightly when she caught sight of Kenma and she turned her flustered face away from his prying eyes. Poor Kenma thought that he had accidentally caught them making out and they pulled away right as he opened the door.

but then you realized it was actually stuff like food, friends, a puppy, a loving dad who will go out to the park with her—

so u go down there to check on this lil child

…and that's when you see a familiar leather jacket watching over her and suggesting other things to write

you can’t see him from heaven so ur like gosh darn it I should’ve known

"Joshua?? I should've known it was—"

*cue both shua and the child turning around*

JS: "Oh hey, nice to see you, angel"

Lil' Nugget: *GASP* "Mr. Josh is this ur s/o???"

Shua's all like "greed! Her dad's been ignoring her since her mom died so we're writing a list of things she wants"

then the smol girl smiles so wide and is like "Mr. Josh is helping me! He's my new friend!!"

Once she finishes it, Josh hands the girl's list over to you

he explains quietly he wants you to miracle her dad to pay attention+love his daughter again so they can have/do all the other things on the list

you read it over again and do just that

The little girl gives the list to her father, your miracle allowing them to have a fun afternoon eating ice cream and playing with her toys

And you and Josh have a nice time too~

once y'all left that girl's room, he invited you for some soda

"Coke? I hope you mean Coca Cola"

"Yeah, uh, there's a place with a vending machine not too far from here. We can walk"

You don't spend time on Earth often, but you learn as you walk w/Josh that he "prefers the air up here"

mainly bc he doesn't fit in with the other demons, but he also just likes spending time with humans

(obviously tho he needs to go down to hell occasionally for like conferences and such)

you don't remember if you've ever been on a date before lol

Josh doesn't either, but he does remember how jumbled up ur emotions get, which he is not ready for

then again of course he has, I mean look at that charm

however, you can't remember if the feeling you get when going on ur little date with Shua is love :/

it isn’t really, but just bc this is ur first “date,” so it makes sense

But Josh makes sure to take you out again… for dinner!!!

you were investigating the use of lust and pride at the same time

of course, it was just Josh helping a guy find someone to hook up with

you were kinda disgusted and wanted to leave, so shua gladly took your arm and pulled you away to a restaurant!

y’all had a nice dinner, paying with some money Josh had collected

and then you went to walk together and chat some more

he’s breathtaking, and he actually wants to spend time with you despite y’all being on opposite sides of an inevitable war

You don’t care, going on more dates just to talk and not have to care about ur jobs and other stuff

Shua hears you yell “what the hell” at some point and he’s like woAH you can say that???

while the term “bad person” is a suggective term that can have very different meanings depending on who you ask, im just going to assume you mean “just a generaly dislikable person for any reason in particular” as most often do

anyway while im personally a little more biased to dislike her [she did apologize for what she did however so ill try not to let this cloud my judgement overall] and because shes a minor like i am [and if i remember correctly around my age? maybe older but im unsure and i dont feel like goin to her blog rn] im not going to be as harsh as i usually would be when dealing with just some random person on the internet whos an adult. because children wouldnt know better either way.

anyway i do personally believe that her opinions abt seamoon are valid but she could possibly go a better way about it.

her whole issue with seamoon is. fine. i get it, you dislike a ship due to personal reasons, you dont owe anyone an explanation aside from “i just dont like it” and as long as youre not a dick over it, i dont see the issue.

i do think she could go about it differently [she once said there was no proof? i think? dont quote me on that my memory is bad] and that it could just be “ohh a best friend stare” despite how heavily its hinted at [i remember that one a lot better cos it got me a little miffed ngl] and like. ok. fine. just acknowledge that its very strongly hinted at and then go on your way, you dont need to insist its not real.

but that does not, ever, at all, make it okay for people to have treated her, a CHILD, presumably, the way they have.

people are entitled to their own opinions as long as it isnt harming anyone! and if someones opinions seem a little off, you dont immediately attack them, especially if theyre someone thats young and probably dont know the full extent of what theyre thinking. you tell them what theyre doing and why its wrong or just iffy in general, and help them grow from that. we are human, humans naturally grow to better themselves when given the chance, and if theyre never given a chance to grow from the past, then they cant ever grow up. if you want her to grow up, then give her a fucking chance. 

now. lets talk abt the kiingcorobo thing.

from what i know; someone told kiingcorobo that she supported whitewashing and was homophobic, i believe.

now, im not a person of color so i am not really inclined to talk abt whitewashing, all i can say is that its terrible and fuck anyone who does it, like honestly if you whitewash u have. no rights.

branden sanderson’s worlds and magic systems are LITERALLY the most fascinating things i’ve EVER read in the entire universe tbh. like no actual joke i love his worldbuilding with a HUGE passion. 

(more under the cut bc i got really excited abt warbreaker tbh)

the only problem for me is that his worlds are SO fucking detailed that i can barely keep up with all of the little bits and intricacies he puts into his worlds and so i feel like i miss A LOT of things

i have read mistborn but it’s been awhile so lemme just refresh my memory super quick .... and after a quick google i remember how much i actually “hate” brandon sanderson for being so fucking ambitious with his novels, TWO OTHER TRILOGIES ARE PLANNED. THIS MAN IS AN ABSOLUTE MAD LAD.

....actually okay honestly i need to reread more of the mistborn universe in order to FULLY comment on this .... but what i CAN talk about with a bit more comprehension ... a bumbleby warbreaker au. because that universe is set up with the magic system that’s based around colour, which i think is VERY fitting for the rwby verse

like .... okay so again after a quick google (fuck u sanderson for being SO DETAILED i blame him as if it’s his fault that it’s been awhile since i’ve reread the damn thing) there’s two sisters that it focuses on, which you would think would be yang and ruby, right

bUT the plot has siri (the younger, which would be ruby) go in vivenna’s (the older, would be yang) place to marry the mysterious god king figure. so in order for this to work properly, either yang goes as originally planned (vivenna had been training her whole life to be the god king’s bride) and blake’s the god king

OR, to twist things, blake and weiss are siblings, with weiss as vivenna (the perfect one who has trained her whole life and has the traditions and rituals down to perfection) and blake as siri -- and aside from the fact that siri’s personality matches most closely to ruby’s (which would make this a lad/ybug au if blake would still be the god king, with yang as her older sibling as follows rwby canon) i think that this actually works out better

because if weiss and blake are siblings, that means that yang could be the god king. blake escapes bc she doesn’t want to see her sister go through something she doesn’t want to do (if i remember right, that’s siri’s reasoning for escaping and going in vivenna’s place.. yeah) and she ends up discovering that the Big Intimidating God King Figure is actually a gentle giant after all, which fits yang’s descriptors pretty damn perfectly

so.... uh........ in answer to your question anon... uh, mistborn au i’m sure would be lovely as fuck! i’m just lacking on the details of that world akfsekhregh but then again, brandon sanderson built the cosmere and the cosmere includes the warbreak novel as well, somehow, so i guess i still answered your question anyway???

the concept of coming out of the closet is bullshit in the ways its engrained in popular narratives to try and placate the straight and cis people in your life to make them feel comfortable. you shouldnt have to beg anyone to accept you, to apologise for your existence. 

however, the best and comforting way to come out is to another person from the community, because that is a comfort in solidarity, and let’s both of you know that neither of you are truly ever alone. its bonding over pain ans hardships, but also through the wonderful experiences of loving and who it is you are. 

8. What would you tell your younger self if you had the chance?

a good & loving goofus whomst i can settle into a comfortable domestic future with and know that i can trust and rely on but also a verse top

your safety is first and foremost the important thing for you to consider, i know it’s hard to stay in the closet, especially around bigotry and ppl who continue to be on their bullshit. try to build connections online if you can but be mindful of deleting your browser history if necessary. you are definitely not alone, it’s hard to say earnestly that it gets better but there are people out there fighting to make it better as rough as it is right now 

17. Who has helped you the most in realising/accepting your identity?

i meaning realising that ive fallen in love with a girl who made my heart ache was a pretty good indicator lol. but i mean the internet is good for some things and being able to be gay freely online really shaped me bc i sure the fuck was too anxious to mention it.
