What do you mean Chuuya's official character song (Darkness My Sorrow) indirectly refers a few times to Dazai and tells he holds the key to the bird cage that is his world. Wha- why is official content always the gayest and gives the most amazing symbolism??

"It might not be Mondstadt. We haven't walked very much at all. But, you're right, we should ask them."

"Okay then." Bronya walked towards one of the guards.
She seemed to converse with him for a bit before coming back to Gepard.

Nature’s Witness
Tighnari X Coyote!reader
‘Mother nature witnesses the event that occurs in the midst of tragedy and thus tries to save you for your benevolence’
W.c: 1k~
Blizzard’s note: I kind of rushed it at the end but I just wanted to get it done and over with. Part 2?
Tumblr media
The crickets chirps aloud in the middle of the starry night. Your presence wanders in the forest as your footsteps crunches the little rocks and vegetation scattered beneath your feet. You duck down when you see a giant cobble web in front of you. Without these fireflies dancing mid-air, the stars would be the only source of light as you walk through the forest. Finally, you hear the sound of water running.
“Where did he go?”, a groan escapes your lips as you make your way to the river. He was supposed to come back earlier today. He promised you. You understand he’s a busy person as he is the leader of the forest rangers and an avid botanist but it’s been so long since the two of you actually spend time together.
You breathe out an unhappy sigh and stare at the ground. It must be his research regarding the mysterious mushrooms growing out of nowhere. It’s been leaving natural creatures unconscious or worse, demise. He told you about his presumption that it might’ve been a genetically mutated mushroom that blows out gas out of protection. Mushrooms are never harmful, but in this case, breathe too much of it, then you’ll be a goner for sure.
That’s why you’ve been careful as you saunter your way to the river. You laid your eyes on the rippling water. You could see the reflection of the moon. It’s so beautiful that the thought of him left your mind for a straight second. You shake your head.
All of a sudden, you smell a familiar scent. Your coyote instinct starts kicking in. That’s his scent! Without hesitation, you make haste along side the illuminated water. Animals and insects jump to the side and hid in bushes just before you approach the place of their previous position.
However, you slow down and your big ears flickers. Your brows furrows. Even though, you recognise his scent, you sense another smell that you are not accustomed to. Your heart starts to beat rapidly and you clutch your shirt.
‘What is this smell?’
A moment of silence steps in. If you can smell his scent with this other scent that is making your heart beat uncontrollably then that means...
A quick gasp leaves your lips. You hurriedly rush to him, smacking vines and branches in your way. The smell becomes more intense the more closer you get to him. Sweat starts forming on your body. You pinch your nose and grimace at the smell.
Immediately you swing your backpack from your shoulder. You untie the bag and fish through to find a handkerchief. You know it’s not enough to filter the unpleasant smell but an attempt should always be made. The cloth was folded and tied around your head, covering your nose and mouth. You carry on.
As you amble cautiously, you catch sight of an orange glow further in the forest. You sniff again only this time you recognise the smell of smoke. You feel apprehensive. It can’t be. But then you hear someone coughing.
“Tighnari, Is that you?!”, you call out. You hope that he can hear your muffled cry. Then you hear a painful groan and that is all it takes to push your way through the smokes.
Luckily, you see him, but he’s kneeling with his head hung low. The air is too smoky to barely see anything. You swiftly took off your cloth and tie it around his head without uttering a word. Tighnari looks up at you in shock and tries to speak but was unable to because of the rag.
“Come on we have to get out of here, the trees are on fire!”, you shout as you grab his belongings. His arm placed around your shoulder as you heave him up. Both of you get out of the situation.
The two of you finally get out of the range of the nasty smoke and smell. He plummets himself onto the ground whilst coughing out. His arms steadies his upper body. You look behind and see the fire eating the trees away. Many animals screech their way out of the fury. Some caught on fire and some had their coats toasted in black. You prepare yourself to go back only to be held back by his hand gripping onto your wrist.
“Don’t go Y/n...it’s... dangerous...”, he manages to choke out. He breathes heavily. He was just preparing himself to walk back to the camp after satisfyingly completing parts of his botanical research. He admits that he was trying to find those rare mushrooms but to no avail he didn’t find any. In the spur of the moment, toxic smell came out of nowhere and here he is almost at the brinks of unconsciousness.
You bend down to him, holding his hand. “I’ll come back once I extinguish the fire, okay?”, you tell him as you stare at your hydro vision. He shakes his head in disagreement. If he’s affected this much, then he doesn’t want to imagine if you never come out alive. You look back again and see the fire growing faster than ever. You detach his grip from your wrist and ran back to the forest. Tighnari makes an attempt to reach out to you. Despite that, a headache pounds his head until he’s left seeing pitch blackness.
Using you elemental energy, you summon your shower burst as quickly as you can. Water droplets start appearing from the Aoe you created, vaporising the heat. Sizzling sound can be heard. You clutch your chest from the sudden strike of pain. You’re breathing too much of that smell. You wonder where it comes from. The least you can do is to stop whatever is causing it.
Pinching your nose, you follow where the scent takes you and right before you is a peculiar looking mushroom emitting gas after gas. You glance at the flower beside it. It’s a flower where you can make flaming flower stamen. With that in mind, you hurriedly cut the mushroom from the ground with a rusty dagger. It finally stops pulsating. Now the fire seems to die down from your burst. Practicing your vision was worth it after all...
You cough again and exit the forest to the river where you left Tighnari. Your vision becomes hazy all of a sudden as well as your heart beating faster. The side effects commences on your body so you must’ve inhaled a bit too much. Groaning, you think to yourself. What’s the worst that can happen?
Out of nowhere, you see little creatures with handmade hats waddling away from the bushes with curious looking eyes. You try to keep your eyes open. Then without even realising it, you meet the same fate as Tighnari. Placing you in a deep slumber.

You flutter your eyes open. You trace your fingers beside you as you stare at the ceiling. It feels like you’re lying on padded leaves. Your eyes shift to your surroundings. You only see plain coloured walls; an unripe flower light. You don’t know where you are or why you’re here. You try to get up until something, or someone stops you from doing so.
“Hey! No getting up! You need healing”, you hear an unexpected voice. It was so high pitched that you swear your eardrums was about to pop off. You turn your head to where the voice was coming from. It’s a diminutive creature. It has a straw hat painted in red with a cape in purple and yellow. If you were to draw a portrait of it’s face, there would only be three strokes. Two for the eyes and one for the mouth.
“You take in too much of new mushroom gas. You almost died”, the little one says in rigour. Memories flash your mind. You remember about the mushroom incident now.
“Thank you for helping me but where am I?”, you question lethargically. You admit you’re still weak. You feel drowsier by the second. The mini creature waddles to the small table made out of tree trunk and grind some herbs. Now that you realise, this miniature hut is extremely small and compact. You wonder how you even fit here in the first place.
“Right now, you’re in Vanarana but in a dream”
In a dream? You try to process of what being in a dream really means. And Vanarana. Where have you heard of that name before? Your fingers graze the temple of your head, attempting to soothe your mind.
“...”
Isn’t that the magical place where Aranaras reside in? Turning your head to look at the aranara, you are in disbelief. You almost knock the cup beside you. You are on the edge of your seat and tears rim your eyes. You only ever heard of these mystical creatures from grannies and grandpas who had the privilege to interconnect with them. When as a coyote kid, you would sneak into your parents’ library and grab your mother’s diary that was filled with Aranara stories and snuggle in between your tail to read them. You pray everyday as a kid that you get to meet them someday.
The little aranara gazes at you with gaping eyes and adorably hands you a bowl with a wooden spoon. It’s so tiny that you’re hand is at least double the size of it. Not to mention the spoon.
The aranara points at you and says, “We aranaras are small so I am sorry we don’t have bigger bowls for you. But I hope you like what we made for you”
They made porridge for you. It’s creamy and has a soupy consistency to it. You sniff the steam rising from the fresh meal. It smells divine that you feel like skipping around the wilderness again. You stir the porridge to mix it. With a shock the aranara jumps out of the hut and jumps back in with something in its putty hands. It walks closer and places them in your bowl. Dates...
“We tried to recreate this dish from a recipe in our book. It’s called Sasqu. Handwriting from that book is so nice that we think a nara (human) did it”. Then aranara looks down sadly. With a quizzical look on your face, you ask why the aranara had a sad expression.
“I wish we can remember nara, but unfortunately we can’t...”
The hut becomes so quiet its as if you can hear a droplet falling into the lake. When an aranara exhausts their powers, they forget. You mix the Sasqu before scooping a spoonful into your mouth. You hum with bright eyes and take another bite. And another. It’s delicious and it tastes like home. Though it’s been awhile since you had this.
The little aranara speaks once again with glinting eyes, “Do you like it?”. You nod while your cheeks are full. The aranara walks outside and you can hear other voices.
“Nara likes it!”
“See I told you I cooked it right!”
“Okay fine I was wrong! You did good”
A chuckle escapes your lips as you wipe your mouth. You absentmindedly move the spoon in circular motion. The spoon is so small that you held it with only your index finger and thumb. There’s a little amount left. The aranara comes back in.
“Aranara?”
They look at you, expecting something. You utter an inquiry, “What do you mean when you say I’m in Vanarana but in a dream?”
The aranaras look at each other with guilt swimming in their eyes. They don’t know if they should elaborate further. One of them step forward and chooses to speak on behalf of all the aranaras.
“You’re in a dream because you haven’t woken up in the real world. We’re only here to accompany you in your dreams”, the peach one says putting their hand on their heart.
“When will I wake up then?”, you ask with hope. Again, the aranaras give side glances with solemn expressions.
“We don’t know when nara will wake up...”
Your pupils dilate and fear takes over. “Wait, how do I wake up in the real world then?
“You can only wake up if you’re real body chooses to. But for now, nara’s real body doesn’t want to wake up because of mushroom gas...”
You feel your stomach drop.
So there’s a chance...
you’ll never wake up??

One of the few medics looks after you. Her sleeves are folded, showing her arms with her hands fitted in elastic gloves. She carefully pierces your shoulder with a syringe while gently pushing the plunger with the base of her thumb. She exhales.
Outside your tent, Tighnari stands there waiting patiently with a basket in his grip. The forest rangers and workers continue with their daily routines in the bask of daylight. At times of him being silent, his big ears would pick up several conversations by his co-workers. The men would talk about how they caught a massive fish a few hours ago and planning to make a feast while the women gossip about that one student who cheated the final exam in the Akademiya.
The female medic steps out of the tent with her belongings. She gives a slight nod before allowing Tighnari entrance. She moves on to her next patient.
The fennec fox like man places the basket on your table. He grabs the chair and pulls it closer to your bed. He sits down and immediately his head falls onto the mattress close to your hips.
He lacks energy. A few minutes ago, he also received a shot from his doctor. He has yet to recover from that incident, but he’s slowly getting better. He interlocks his hands with yours and gives a tender kiss.
“When are you going to wake up, you lummox? It’s already been two weeks...”
You sleep soundly with an oxygen mask. Your chest gradually rising up and down. Your skin no longer has that colour of warmth. He rubs your hands that is chilling, trying his best to warm them up.
They’ve figured out why a forest fire occurred. The cause of it was simply because the gas of the mushroom, much similar to any gas, was in contact with a nearby pyro flower. Tighnari just happened to walk pass the mushroom, triggering it.
He’s not one to self depreciate himself usually but till this day, he blames himself for not being wary. His ignorance led to this. You even tried searching for him and was able to lessen the damage done to the forest.
He strokes strands of your hair away from your relaxed eyes.
“They’re with you, aren’t they? The ones who named my kind the Valuka Shuna”, he laughs a little. “You know, I never see myself as a ‘large desert fox’. Well except that one time I believed it as a kid. One day I told my dad to bring me to the desert. I fainted not even a metre in due to the horrendous heat”, he clears his throat while scratching his ear. “It’s not like I cried thinking the Valuka Shuna devolved because of me haha”
He leans back, “Years later, I figured that they aren’t the most intelligent little things. They probably thought that foxes and dogs are the same. We’re both canines that’s for sure but we are not identical”
There is nothing but silence and stillness. He can see rays of sunlight slicing through the blinds.
“If you can hear me, tell the aranaras I said thanks”, he continues to speak, “I’m pretty sure they’ve forgotten since they’ve used up their powers on healing me”
The feeling of dread resurfaces after trying to uplift the atmosphere of his ‘large desert dog’ story. In the basket was filled with fruits and bread. There’s also his research notes. He’s planning to stay by your side for awhile.
Thanks to you he finally has the mushroom you bravely cut off from its roots. He’s heard all of the negatives of the peculiar mushrooms. One of them almost burning down an ecosystem. But a researcher like him yearns to know if there’s any positives to it. For example, what if it has valuable qualities concerning medicine? Would that be a strong enough reason for being able to produce a vicious way of protecting itself? Could it contradict the illness you both contracted? Will it be sufficient enough to save you?
He looks at you once more.
Waiting patiently until the day you finally open your eyes again...

i think my favorite coomer-brained interaction with somebody was when this guy told me he pirated lies of P and then immediately got pissed off because you couldn't play as "a hot female". this was a non insignificant factor of him not enjoying the game besides allegedly "dogwater parrying frames"
