(Drabble 10-30 Books)
Perry thought nothing of it when Ferb and Phineas let themselves into his bedroom.
Phineas smiled broadly, a little too wide to be innocent.
Ferb didn't smile at all.
Phineas took the stack of books from Perry's bedside table and set it on the floor beside his 4-foot wide -stocked to the brim with hardcovers and paperbacks- bookcase in the corner of the room.
Ferb took the smattering of books from Perry's desk. He kindly left the book that sat under one table leg to fix a balance issue.
This stack of books was also placed beside the bookcase.
"Uncle Perry?" Phineas asked as he watched his brother put the books down. "Can you show me that stack of books on top of your bookcase?"
Perry had a bad feeling about this.
Wordlessly, he got up from his seat and walked over. He Tip-toed and shuffled the stack into his arms. The uncle wasn't very tall, but the books reached the ceiling, so he had to reach.
When he turned to Phineas, the boy just nodded and pointed at a spot on his floor. "Now stand here please.... okay good. Candace!"

Candy-Flynn has posted a new tiktok
The video opened to Candace standing in her living room.
"You must be wondering, where have all the books gone? They aren't in the living room."
The girl gestured at the empty shelf behind her.
Jump-cut. Now she's standing in the kitchen.
"There are no books in the kitchen either."
Another cut, she is in front of an empty bookshelf in the study.
"All the books are gone! Could it be that all the books are with-"
Another cut. Now Candace is standing in front of a door in the hallway, holding a guitar.
"- My uncle Perry, who promised mom to sort out his bookcase five months ago, but who has only bought more books without getting rid of any!"
Candace kicked the door open and performed a sick guitar riff. In the background, you see Uncle Perry turn in surprise.
At the same time, Phineas and Ferb tip the bookcase over just far enough that a bunch of books topple to the floor dramatically. Perry is left surrounded by piles and piles of his own books.
Candace stops playing the guitar.
Ferb pulls on Perry's sleeve to get his attention and announces: "This is an intervention."
Video ends.

Child!Perry Question: Are you telling me that his family just left home while they went to Australia???
“We’re gonna go get some medicine, you stay here and rest, okay?”
I’m gonna assume you meant Africa op, because I cannot, for the life of me, remember an Australia episode, lol.
I’m giving Perry a small break and actually letting him GO to the vacation, but he ends up having to play sick halfway through so that he can defeat Carl. Other than that, the plot is pretty much the same. Except Perry gets scolded for going off from the campsite by Linda and Lawrence, lol.

Leyendecker has always been someone I've admired a lot, and until now, I hadn't dared to try to do something that approximates his style.
I think Perry in his human version fits perfectly with the aesthetic that this artist followed. I'm looking forward to trying something more!

my favourite go-to prompt in a Human Perry AU is this:
Because Perry is secretive, the Flynn-Fletchers come to their own conclusions, and those conclusions are WRONG

When you enter the agent program and are given the yellow band, you are assigned a code name. It's both an agency tradition and a way to keep our identities secret. It's something that comes from the very origins of the agency's founding.
Agent Samuel the Stork has been assigning the code names for the last 20 years. I'd like to tell you that they are selected based on our qualities or something profound, but the truth is it's whatever he comes up with at the moment. Herman made the mistake of trying a new hairstyle on the day of his interview and ended up being called "the Hedgehog."
Apparently, my mistake was being born.
And yeah, im alive and working, thanks.
