OMG YIPPY OPEN REQUEST!!! Hello, how are ya doing!!! I was wondering if I could ask/request for a cybertronian! Reader with four arms and they're like ancient cybertronian that was king/queen of the battlefield during war very VERY eons ago like when the first prime was made (prima) and they sooner became too overpowering and too strong with their power so they sealed up reader until they were unsealed by Megatron (Tfp/transformer prime) but reader switched teams and teamed up with the Autobots!! I hope this isn't too much...😭🙏🙏 I was wondering if you could make it as a scenario or one shot? Idk up to you because my mind is FILLED with ideas for your inbox👍

Prompt: ancient cybertronian!reader whos overpowered, sealed and was released by Megatron to join the Decepticons but joined Autobots instead

Warnings: no warnings, im using [y/n] in here

Notes: i made the reader being sealed somewhere on cybertron since they exist during the first prime, i hope you dont mind!! Anyways hope you enjoy this :D this is also a bit long geez-

Megatron made his way towards Cybertron again but not to revive an undead army. He was there to release someone from the time of the first prime, someone whos an overpowered warrior before being sealed. Soundwave had decoded a relic that tells them of this bot who was sealed due to being too overpowered, and Megatron has full intentions to make that bot join the Decepticon cause. Ironically none of them had ever heard of this bot until now, he basically has the upper hand if this bot decided to join the cause.

As Megatron arrived to place, he could see how old yet sturdy the seal was. He began to forcefully open the seal before finding out there lays a bot with four arms, a frame almost as big as Predaking. He slowly approached the figure, circling around them as he return to his original position. The bot's servos twitched as they slowly opened their optics before said optics was suddenly blown wide in shock. They quickly sat up and looked around before their gaze lands on Megatron. With optics filled with confusion, they began asking him some questions. "Where am I? What time is it? And more importantly, who are you?" They asked as they narrowed their optics, eons of slumber has rendered their sight a bit blurry.

"My designation is Megatron, the one who has freed you from this wretched seal. You are still in Cybertron, although it has gone dark here. What is your designation, great warrior?" Megatron asked. "I Thank you, Megatron. My designation is [y/n], and what do you mean by Cybertron went dark?" They questioned as they slowly stood up to their full height, towering over him by a bit. "During your slumber, there was war that a faction of bots has started, they are called the Autobots. So we made another faction, the Decepticons, to go against them and defend Cybertron. But because of the Autobot's reckless act, Cybertron is no more. Now the only surviving bots are refuging on Earth." He explained. [y/n] got suspicious, due to the fact theres the word 'deception' in their faction.

"If you are good, why are you called 'Decepticons'?" They asked. "It is because they wanted to villainize us, but instead we wear it like a badge of honor. We won't let that label bring us down. Now, I would like to ask you a favor as the leader of the Decepticons." Megatron said, slowly walking towards them as he stoped right in front of them. [y/n] blinked as they debated with themself before deciding to agree to hear about the favor first. "You will join our cause to defeat the Autobots, in return you will be well cared for in the Decepticons. You are an excellent warrior after all." He offered. They only silently ponder as they weight their choices. They dont have anyone else that they know of here, the only 'safer option' is to accept it. "I accept this offer." They said as they offer their servos for a handshake as the deal was made.

It already has been a few earth months after that day, they still remember it clearly. Months of observation has given them enough detail that they are at the wrong side of the war. Now they sat on their birth, looking at their Decepticon insignia as [y/n] creates a plan. A plan that will hopefully change their life for the better, they planned to somehow switch sides to be an Autobot. They planned to sneak during night time where the halls of the nemesis was not too crowded before making their way towards the flight deck, unfortunately this will be a bit difficult due to the fact that their 4 arms stood out.

Night has fallen on Earth and now they're executing their plan. Avoiding any vehicons and cameras in the hallway, they successfully arrived at the flight deck. Thankfully their alt-mode takes flight so they could escape easily. Now they had land somewhere deserted in Nevada, hoping that their signal would attract the autobots here. Fortunately it did, as Optimus himself along with Bumblebee and Bulkhead. "I would like to ask you a favor, prime. I would like to move to your faction as i've seen enough misdeeds done by the Decepticons." [y/n] said. Optimus was ready to accept when a few beeps from Bumblebee, assuming it was beeps of protest, made Optimus paused for awhile. After a bit more convincing to both the Autobots and the leader himself, they got accepted. Now they only need to worry if the others would willingly accept them right after they defect from the Decepticons.

self conscious of the title now but whatever I had this piece in mind for awhile and finally got around to drawing it .

ANYWAYS I absolutely love Earthspark, it's so pretty, fun, and the story so far is ENGAGING

(Earthspark spoilers ahead? I went on a tangent here if you read it all I love you no homo and thank you)

going absolutely ballistic over what I think is the the conflict in the show, almost everyone to some degree is trying to do what they think is best, for humanity, for cybertronians, and their factions

I believe Soundwave is trying to do things in the best interest for the Decepticons, I feel like he took the leadership role for them after Megatron turned autobot. Ofcourse, hes pissed, but maybe his fight with Megatron in episode Decoy both served as a way to get into G.H.O.S.T.'s facility, and send a message to Megatron. why Soundwave wants to be in the facility? to free the decepticons

Dr.Meridian, ever since he lost his arm due to a building collapse caused by autobot friendly fire, believes both decepticon and autobot are hazards to the human race. he almost died due the conflict between the two factions, theres a high chance people already have, and since this conflict is still going on now even when the war is over, probably feels more justified in attempting to eradicate them

Optimus, oh my poor boy I know he goes to sleep crying or with a bad helm ache or both. Personally, I think, this version of Optimus really gave in to appease to humanity, and lost a bit of himself. He isn't as stoic, I dont believe he delivered one of his moving speeches yet, he doesn't entirely feel like typical Optimus to me. This, I think, is the result of trying to appease to humanity. He knows he and the others must coexist with humans preferably peacefully ever since he destroyed the space bridge home, which he did in desperation to save the universe from the war he was fighting. To stop the still ongoing conflict with the decepticons now, he joined G.H.O.S.T out of desperation, a last resort, thinking it was the best course of action. Hes a leader, he must make the toughest decisions, but he didnt have anyone tell him in time or straight up that maybe, the course of action he takes isnt the best. I could go on about Optimus but some other time I'll continue but I really like this version of Optimus

MEGATRON TFE megatron is the only megatron I really like (tfp megatron got tainted for me because of a friends cursed character association, and I don't know other megatrons well) ANYWAYS, despite not exactly a leader, he still did what he thought was best, not only for the decepticons but maybe for the autobots and humanity: help end the war by joining the autobots. he sacrificed his image with the decepticons causing outrage in some (soundwave) but atleast it ended the war. But now, he helps clean up the mess that is still ongoing conflict. He sees as both sides, and disapproves of what is being done to decepticon prisoners, he knows something is wrong with G.H.O.S.T, and knows that, you cant please all of humanity. he hasn't brought up a different course of action, but he does bring up this: there's got to be a better way to go about this. he hasnt said it, but I believe that's what he thinks

The lack of TF v.ore content around is criminal. Bot bellies would make good prisons, homes, or even graves. In a fatal situation, I think the pred bot's body would make use of every part of the melted prey. In a absorption scenario, imagine a bot obsessed with the A//spa,rk to where they gain the ability of absorbing their fellow bots. Taking in their mass, minds, skills, or useful traits to become something more. While their sparks glow silently within their strange, new, shared frame that has claimed their own.

personally, i love the thought of a pred bot gaining so much mass, from thickened thigh armor to jiggly belly mesh. being able to show off how many enemies theyve defeated and consumed through the weight on their body <3 rubbing their belly as a threat <3

Ok. Part 3 earthspark was so incredibly disappointing. I feel so sad about it because it’s such a promising show.

I kind of ranted abt this to my friend for like an hour as soon as we finished watching but here’s some of my criticism which I may add on to. Or not

Warning for Earthspark s1 p3 spoilers and overall negativity. So sorry!

1. The writing of this part was sooo terrible. So many plotholes so much drama and so much cringe dialogue. I want to give it slack for being a children’s show but! There’s so much here that’s just senseless. I can excuse cringe dialogue but some of it is back to back to back. Like holy shit

2. Hate what they did to Karen. She was this malevolent evil that was being hinted and teased since part 1 and she amounted to literally nothing. She had no motives other than being racist, none that we know of. Maybe her parents died idfc but there are no real motives that she ever makes outright known. And she was being hinted to being this final boss type. Her death had no impact. It felt like a “oh look this is a child’s show turned dark”. Her death promised everything and it delivered nothing.

3. The last 3? Episodes where Twitch take charge feel apocalyptic and it was nice. Twitch and her older sister curse. The last one standing. The one bearing the weight of the family, having all that responsibility because wether you want it or not she is the older sister of the group. She watches everyone she loves simply disappear. She goes through so much trouble and so many plans and then thrash dies protecting her (which doesn’t make sense?? ill go onto this later). So, after she goes through all that trouble, the humans wake up and fix everything in the blink of an eye. and it undoes all this effort and character thrown into Twitch because she isnt the one who finds a way to fix it. it makes the last 3 episodes totally meaningless.

4. how would Thrash's body protect her from the blast. they were closest, and none of the others were protected the same way despite being in close proximity. why did the terrans even get affected by the blast? theyre not energon based. its like, the main plot of the show.

5. mandroid coming in and being like "interesting! for you ive been gone for a day, but under my calculations ive been gone… a year." was funny as hell. why a year?? why not one hundred. or at least fifty. as a lone human he would NOT have been able to convince the sharkticons in a year. and against the quintessons? and all those bodily changes? its so funny how stupidly underwhelming that time is.

6. Robbie's death was stupid. he does a green lantern oath and power up then still loses against megatron (bc its megatron) and then dies and gets revived. theres no shock, you know hell come back. i hoped everyone going "somethings wrong" meant we were going to get a "he died and came back wrong" ordeal but i guess i was expecting too much. also wasnt he dying in one episode. he said "its getting worse" and then he was fine

7. this entire part feels sooo odd to me with the inconsistencies, i wonder if the writers strike has anything to do with it. it almost feels so random. like on the same episode where robbie dies— why were they like "is that the real megatron?" while being scared as if they dont know megatron as a good guy. why would you be scared its the real megatron.

8. final fight felt so rushed. this whole part felt rushed. i wonder if there were budget cuts or if they used their whole budget on the first half of the season.

9. ill say it. maybe you don’t agree with me but. So much of it feels like fanservice. The starscream episode… why would Hashtag be the one to relate to Screamer? Mind control isn’t quite the same as constant abuse. And the entire episode relied a lot on watchers knowing what that relationship was like. In knowing what Starscream and Megatron are like. If you don’t know anything, it just feels odd. Even as a g1 inspired show, where Starscream and Megatron are awful to each other in damn near equal measures. It was a nice episode, I really enjoyed it, but there should’ve been more build up to that.

10. So many of the deleted scenes provide an extra feeling that was missing from the show. I’m really sad at how much potential this show has and how the entirety of parts 1 and 2 were amazing and built up so much and part 3 was just a huge let down with so many inconsistencies and questions left unanswered right after being brought up.

These two skyscraper sized men who want to swaddle their new civil bot boyfriends in loving and kissing, but it requires a sort of docility that they DONT possess is my everything fjkhkhjjj. They have to horrify the little mechs every few seconds of the cycle instead (in a good way of course, bc let’s not pretend Optimus and Bee wouldn’t be with them still, if they hadn’t learned to love how terrifying war mechs can be, and are way too into their scary factor)

windblade for the ask game :+)?

gonna be doing prime wars windblade because shes everything to me favorite thing about them: the way she tries so so hard to dedicate herself to violence after maxima dies but falls out of it so fast.... shes not a violent person as much as she might try to be. deep down she is and always will be a person who values the lives of others, and because of that she resists falling into the cycle of violence for violence given that so many cybertronians do.

least favorite thing about them: genuinely tried to think of one for the sake of the ask game but i really really cant. what is there to not like about windblade......

favorite line: i cant remember lines from any shows i watch for the life of me so i cant think of any actual Line she says but i always really like the moment when megatron says something to make fun of optimus and she laughs at it <3

brOTP: ok obviously megatron and windblade are always good but where is my love for hot rod and windblade. for emissary and windblade. for perceptor and windblade. for victorion and windblade. they are all best friends and i enjoy their relationships so much and i wish we got to see them more...

nOTP: uhmmm i guess it kinda squicks me out when ppl like, romantically ship windblade and megatron just cuz i feel like the show implies a pretty substantial age gap between the two. but thats all i can think of

random headcanon: i think she is the kind of person to fall in love very easily. and not just with people. the kind of person u take on a 2 day vacation out to the city and she starts talking about how she'd love to live there. kind of person who texts u pictures of the sunset every single day talking about how gorgeous it is. kind of person who takes a picture of a pretty plant while out on a walk and two days later starts researching how to care for them. kind of person who wants to live by the beach because they love the ocean but also wants to live in the woods because they love forests but also wants to live in the mountains because they love mountains but also wants to live out in the plains somewhere because they love the open space. kind of person who loves every aspect of life with their entire body mind and soul.

unpopular opinion: ok i dont interact with prime wars fandom at all (idk if there even is one.... </3) so idk any unpopular opinions. but if we're going with rid fandom then i guess just liking windblade is one LOL

song i associate with them: ough ok this is hard because i dont usually make character playlists unless ive been obsessing about a character for 6+ months. but from a quick shuffle play thru i think We'll Never Know the Place by Fever the Ghost reminds me of pre/early prime wars windblade a lot...

EDIT: just realized i forgot favorite image of her but this is another one that kind of falls into the pit trap of me being a guy who can never remember anything.... i guess we'll go with i really like the way she looks with her battle mask up and i wish we got to see it more !!

#re post earlier. i had kind of a gut reaction that 'no these are two different flavors of Bitey Dangerous and Sort of Uncontrollable #as self conception. and they need to be treated as separate'#and i think. like. a lot of it is the one i embrace is 'that sort of mindset and i-am-going-to-snap-dont-test-me as a response to #what i consider to be having been pushed too far by *legitimate* reasons--boundary violation trauma interpersonal betrayal'--#which is also like. if youre nice or affectionate to me in that mood im likely to react positively if weirdly #its often uncomfortable and potentially destructive but its a. feels morally legitimate and b. something that can be worked with #(and c. i can honestly enjoy it for aforementioned 'will react positively to kindness' reasons. 'world destroying pseudogod need pets' is.#a very fun emotion to have ngl.)#the other one--what i earlier tonight called the megatron persona(tm) due to similarities to my general read on tfp megatron #(which for the record i am reasonably certain is like. legit and based on textual support. and not projection. insofar as theres any #projection going on there it *followed* the initial few rounds of character analysis and was like '...oh. same. i hope i dont act like that #about it.') that state of mind is deeply centered around my feelings going out of fucking control in a similarish direction #but either for what i consider morally *illegitimate* reasons. or an illegitimate reaction to legitimate reasons (like the Rsd Rage Response #fear of rejection; betrayal (where if i was being rational i wouldnt see one); anger over insult re things i KNOW werent insults #and primarily just. that state of mind. it gets into 'i cannot bear being hurt so i will try to force people to stop hurting me' real fast #and that gets nasty. and im not sure that being nice to me in that state works or does any good #someone directly involved i think maybe should just force a disengage for a while rather than that; someone not directly involved can maybe #calm me down like that but again thats by forcing a shift or disengage not a Fun Version of the same emotion #hence why like. this isnt supposed to happen. but if im relapsing other stuff its best to maybe have an understanding of how to stop it #delete later #txt

You were an EMT.

The two of you pulled up to meet with the other Autobots, you exiting the vehicle before he transformed. You were in awe as he and the rest of the cars all changed.

The biggest one, their leader, gave a rundown of everything that was happening once he confirmed Sam’s identity. This was just a recap for you as Ratchet had already explained. The teenage boy just stood there stuttering not really knowing how to process everything and you frowned again. That was when you really took notice of two teens just standing there. Having known what was expected of Sam Witwicky you frowned slightly.

“I don’t know about this Ratchet, he’s just kid.” You commented to the alien you had formed a quick bond with.

“And who might you be?” The one called Optimus inquired.

You gave him your name before the other yellow autobot, who you’d later learned was Bumble Bee, uttered something through his radio. It was hard for you to hear but the other robots seemed to be use to it as Ratchet responded immediately.

“The human. I like her.” Ratchet sounding irritated.

Bumblebee made another comment and right before Ratchet could respond one of the others chimed in.

“Wait why do they get humans?” Jazz asked incredulously. “I want one too!”

“Enough! Humans are not pets.” The one call Optimus Prime stated sternly, clearly tired of their bickering. You held your laugh, highly amused.

They were like siblings. A family.

“Exactly I’m just here to help and be a better tour guide than these kids can be.” You confirmed practically forcing your services on them. “Besides they need adult supervision. From the looks of it, you all do.” You grinned at everyone around you. Optimus gave a nod, agreeing.

“She stays. Let’s move.”

In that short amount of time things moved rather quickly. You watched the Autobots accidentally destroy Sam’s backyard when attempting to retrieve the glasses, you were all arrested, you escaped thanks to the Autobots, only to be arrested again.

Fail.

Finally you ended it some secret base. How get you weren’t alone. The government had apparently been on a roll with kidnapping civilians who “knew too much “.

Things weren’t going great but quickly went left when the Decepticons, the Autobot rivals, came to retrieve Megatron.

A war from another planet had officially made Earth its battleground.

You were nervous, trying to figure out how to calm everything down before things started to escalate. Nobody was going to get anywhere with all the bickering. That’s when you saw him.

It had been what? Two years?

Still, without even knowing it, without even knowing you were present, he was still able to make your heart be slow and fast at the same time. The army had aged him, but for the better making him all the more attractive but you couldn’t focus on that right now. Especially when you heard:

“The cryogenic system is failing! We're losing NBE One!”

All the soldiers begin to pack everything that they could to prepare in a fight the way they always did. It was an mirable the way Linux game orders in his men took them without a second thought. The trust there.

“That’s good. Get all the ammo you got.”

“Everything you can carry. Bring it.”

Tearing your eyes away from your former lover you grab Sam.

“Come on, we need Bee.” You reminded him, nodding in Simmons direction

“You got to take me to my car.” Sam said, then repeated when he was ignored. “You have to take me to my car. He’s gonna know what to do with the Cube.”

“Your car? It's confiscated.”

“Then unconfiscate it.” You stared blankly.

“We do not know what will happen if we let it near this thing! -“

“You don't know.”

“Maybe you know, but I don't know.”

You rolled your eyes at the insufferable mans rambling.

This was really was more about ego who was in control more than anything. The guy running the ship, clearly was on a power trip. Unfortunately for him he was facing off against soldiers . The Captain who’s eyes you could feel staring at the side of your face.

A Captain and his soldiers. Ones that really dont like to lose and take serving their country seriously.

The guy who arrested you earlier continue to argue with Sam about getting him back to bumblebee when Lennox finally pulled out his gun sick of the back-and-forth.

“Take him to his car!”

As soon as he did so all hell broke loose and everyone from both parties pulled out a weapon.

“Drop it!”

It wasn’t until One of the sector seven agents pointed a gun at the back of Will’s head that you disable to another agent and took his gun and pointed it directly and held it directly at the one pointing the gun at your ex.

“I really wouldn’t.” You warned.

You were no soldier, but Will have taught you plenty before you broke up. So did your brother, before he passed away. He actually served alongside Will but died in combat. Biking. That’s part of why you were so hurt when Will re-enlisted. When he got promoted to Captain and chose the army over you. You were terrified of losing him the way you lost your brother. The break up wasn’t that messy but you both said things you didn’t mean. In attempts to mask your own pain and hurt one another.

You know. Hurt people, hurt people.

It’s still came to no surprise that you put a bullet in someone to protect him. Together or not you’d never let anything happen to him.

“I'm ordering you under S-Seven executive jurisdiction-“ Simmons ranted.

“S-Seven don't exist.” You interjected, earning a quick appreciative glance from Will.

“Right. And we don’t take orders from people that don’t exist.”

“I’m gonna count to 5. Okay-“ Simmons attempted to threat yet again.

“Well, I’m gonna count to three.” Will deadpanned.

You knew that look. God did you know that look and it was so wrong that you were so turned on.

Finally the Secretary of defense interfered telling Simmons to do what was being asked of him. Everyone relaxed slight, weapons lowering.

“Y/n,”

“Captain.”

The Captain and couldn’t help but watch you how do you get up and prepare to go.

“So that’s her huh?” Epps commented as Will watched you run off with Sam.

“Yeah..” Will answered, mind racing.

While he knew he’d eventually see you again, he didn’t think it would be like this. You looked breath taking.

“Damn. Shorty had your back that entire time.”

“Gear up,”

“What I’m just saying I thought she was gonna put a cap in his.” Epps shouted after his Captain receiving no response.

Will knew you had his back, you always would, the same way he would always have yours. He thought of you often, the break up between two inescapable, never feeling like he did the right thing. You were always not too far from the front of his mind. Him wondering how you were doing. If you were happy. If you found somebody else. There was no doubt he regretted what had transpired between the two of you. It was his fault. He knew that. You knew that. He had ample opportunity to fight for you and he didn’t. When he was promoted Captain he felt he had to choose between you and the army. He didn’t choose you the way he should’ve. In reality he could’ve had both. However hr so caught up proven himself to his deadbeat dad that he possibly let the best thing that ever happened to him go.

Not to mention trying to atone for your brothers death. It wasn’t his fault, but he still couldn’t shake it. So without talking to you he reenlisted. Needless to say where that got him.

Now hear the both of you were in the middle of an alien war. Yeah. This is the last place he thought he’d see you.

You were numb. The battle on the highway enough to freak you out. For mommy, just a moment you thought this might be a dream but no. This is all very real. One minute you guys were just entering the city trying to lay low, next thing you know - BOOM! The explosion knocked all of you over, injuring some, killing a few. Bumblebee’s legs were partially blown off.

Getting up off the pavement you waited for the ringing in your ear to subside as you stood up, trying to study yourself when you felt a pair of arms hold you still.

You knew it was Will just by the way he touched you, you blinked hard trying not to go down memory lane.

“Are you okay?” The concern in his voice was enough to make your heart skip a bear.

“Yeah,” you nodded slowly. “Yeah I’m fine.”

Slowly you removed yourself from his grip and went to check on Sam and Mikaela. Ratchet on the other hand -

“Hmm. His pheromone levels are-“ you quickly turned on him and glared.

“Ratchet I’ll turn you into a can opener if you don’t shut the hell up.”

The robot nearly held his hands up in the surrendering position as he followed you. Will had arranged an aircraft to pick up Sam and the cube while everyone else defended themselves against the deceptive cons in a hurry to get the cube far far away before Megatron arrived. Sam was in a panic and so Michaela, you could see Will’s short fuse getting ready to exploded. It was then you decided to be an escort.

“Sam, you can’t do this alone.” Michaela fussed.

“He won’t be alone.” You commented, causing all parties involved to look at you.

“I’m going with you.” You declared.

“No.” Will didn’t even hesitated as he stepped closer to you.

“Captain Lennox-“

“No!” You grabbed him by the front of his beer and pushed him back.

“Do you see what going on out there?!” You continued to hold on to him and you yelled at him over there chose. “We’re at a war. One we are extremely ill prepared for. So get your shit together! Sam is my responsibility. I have to get this kid to safety.”

This time your hands slid up the side of his face forcing him to look at you.

“Y/n..” he breathed out leaning down toward you, and for the first time during all this madness you could visibly see he was afraid.

“I’ll be back, Will.” You assured him, briefly resting your forehead against his.

Gathering himself he pulled away, looking toward Sam then back at you.

“Go. Go!”

And then we were running.. With nothing but an M16 strapped to your back and the pistol in your hand, you ran faster than you ever have before.

The four of you were under attack once more, you and Sam doing what you had to, to avoid getting snatched up as a fight Ironhide and Ratchet defended you. Unfortunately you were too close to one of the cars that went up in flames and you were thrown into another car from the blast.

“Y/n!” You could feel the blood on your forehead as you slowly pushed yourself up. As you tried to stand you immediately stopped feeling the pain in your thigh. Looking down could see the damage that had been done. The blood surrounding the afflicted area.

“Wha- what, what do i do?!” Sam asked frantically once he took notice of your injury.

“You gotta keep going Sam. I’ll be fine.”

He stood fo his feet, unsure of what to do. When Ironhide told him the same thing.

“Go!” You screamed once more.

Sam left and continued to run without you as you, as quickly as possible, as you tore your focus away from him to pull the shard of glass in your leg out. Ripping a piece of your shirt off you tightly tied it around your thigh in order to stop the bleeding. There was no point in going forward now but the return back to everyone else and help them fight.

You just had to avoid getting killed in the process.

You seen a car steering wheel, a Mountain Dew vending machine and and Xbox all turn into one of those freaky ass robots right before your eyes. All of which you helped others fight off. It was so surreal. In fact, if it wasn’t for the constant ringing in your ear from all the explosions you definitely think you were dreaming. You almost made it back to Lennox and his men when another Decepticon stood between between you and your destinations. They were definitely taking a beating. You saw Epps shooting a green laser indicating the robot that doubled as a helicopter wasn’t a friendly and decided to do what you could to keep the Decepticon from getting any closer to them and hurting any more civilians. In an attempt to draw it away from everyone else, you begin to fire your weapon giving it everything you had.

Unfortunately, the side effective taking its attention off the others meant putting the attention on you.

You ran trying to duck and dodge a bullets now directed your way.

But Will. Will’s heart dropped. Seeing you there defending yourself alone. His pause was brief, the air forces plan already in motion, before he started the motorcycle and was speeding in your direction.

“William!” You screamed for him fearfully as he drove straight toward the robot.

The only thing you could hear was your heartbeat pounding in your ears. You almost couldn’t breathe, you don’t remember the last time you ever felt so scared in your life. But it wasn’t your life you feared for was it?

He rushed forward and slid under the robot continuing to firing the launcher. All you could do was watch as he drove toward you. Toward the danger your mind wondering if he did that on a regular basis. Was this the life of a soldier? What he went through day after day when he was deployed?

Standing up he only spared the parts of the dismembered robot a glance before shouting and turning looking for you. In a matter of seconds he was standing directly in front of you and pulling you into his arms.

Relief.

There was nothing like physically being about to touch someone, hold someone to really know they were okay.

“So…” you began, suddenly feeling nervous. “...That was hot-“

Before you were able to get another word in, he captured your lips with his kissing you roughly and bringing you closer, hands on the small of your back. You couldn’t help it kiss him back just as fiercely put in every emotion you had into that kiss.

Every ounce of passion he had in body, put into this kiss, your lips just as soft, kiss just as pure as he remembered. When you kissed, he knew he was a goner and could never let you go again.

It has been two years since the last time you guys have been this close. This intimate. Reconnected. The feeling it gave you, the indescribable feeling, was one neither one of you ever wanted to forgo again. Pulling back slowly, you both had smiles on your faces, Will pulling you closer to plant a kiss on your forehead.

“Excuse me,” Epps interrupted.

The both of you turning your attention on him.

“As cute as this shit is it’s highly inappropriate in the middle of the battle. I’m just saying we are trying to stay alive and shit.”

NO, PLEASE KEEP TALKING ABOUT WASP,, I love reading people's thoughts on him and his probably wasted potential as a character

YESSSS TY FOR ENABLING ME, now, if Im being honest I dont Actually think Wasp had much potential to be a good character. Or at least a good Rival to Bee. Maybe Wasp could've been a good side protagonist or a one time rival to Bee but Im gonna go under the assumption of 1. Not changing his role in the show [aka being Bees rival] and 2. He's still a villain. And in that I think Wasp was doomed to be bad, From The Start And to explain why I'm gonna take this as an excuse to talk abt why the Other Villains in TFA [mostly] work as great rivals to our cast and why Wasp Doesnt. [And why Shockbee being canon would've been better for the show's writing and Im not entirely joking abt that]

FIRST OF ALL: What even makes a good rival? In my opinion a good rival has to do three things: 1. Make a meaningful impact on the protag

2. Help us learn both good and bad things abt the protag through some sort of connection or parallel

3. Challenge/put the heroes to the test based on their core values beliefs or even just their most prevalent traits.

How do the TFA Villains do this? Well I'll be brief LOCKDOWN VS RATCHET:

I think Lockdown in Thrill of the hunt has to be one of the Best Rivals to a character I've ever seen. This is because of the huge impact he leaves on Ratchet, scarring him forever both mentally and physically and the way he reveals both flaws and good traits Ratchet has. We learn of how Ratchet never lets go of the past and how it's broken him down through guilt and trauma, but we also see how when push comes to shove Ratchet is willing to face his trauma and his past by Facing Down Lockdown. The ultimate symbol of said past. Through this Ratchet grows as a character and becomes all the more complex and interesting. MEGATRON VS OPTIMUS:

This'll be the last example but these two are also fantastic. Megatron obviously leaves quite the impact on Optimus, he kickstarts the entire show and time and time again his evil actions are what call Optimus to act and realize he can be a hero. One of the best things about them tho is the way their arcs parallel each other, in the S1 finale, we see the worst of Optimus as he yells at his crew and acts coldly to them. We see Megatron do the same and it tells us that if Optimus doubled down on seeing his crew as nothing more than tools who when they break are worthless could become just like Megatron willing to break down whoever he feels isn't worth keeping around anymore. Obviously Megatron is the ultimate test for Optimus his schemes his evil plans force Optimus to learn to become a better leader, gain victory through teamwork and most of all avoid the spiral Megatron goes through that has him grow more and more disgusted with his crew. Until he loses his mind in trial of megatron and kills all of them. now let's contrast this with Wasp. WASP VS BEE

Wasp makes little to no impact on Bee's character as far as we see, Bee doesn't really change because of Wasp n thats already not a good start. Another thing is Wasp doesn't really reveal anything about Bee we didn't know. We knew he can be stubborn n oblivious yeah, we knew he can't really talk to people and isn't all that smart and we certainly dont learn anything Good abt Bee as he stupidly stumbles around dealing with Wasp. And the final nail in the coffin is to simply put, Wasp n Bee have little to no connection or parallels through out the show. Sure they're connected by that One mistake Bee was manipulated to make but what does that tell us? Bee was too quick to trust? Bee jumped to conclusions based on his bias towards Wasp not being nice to him? Maybe u can assume those things but the show certainly never even humors those possibilities.

wasp is nothing more than a Physical obstacle to Bee which is bad because a rival should be more than that. Maybe Soundwave can get away with it since hes a minor villain but Wasp is Bee's obvious rival! It's just not good enough to justify all the time we spend with him. And the worst thing is Wasp I dont think ever could have been anything more. The connection he has with Bee is minimal, he only had S3 to be developed and he just has very simple motivations of wanting to attack Bee so if he did anything other than that towards Bee it would be strange and not make sense. However the worst part in all of this is Shockwave standing right there as a character who objectively would've been a better rival and here's why: SHOCKWAVE VS BEE 1. Shockwave's impact on Bee could've been huge, a huge part of Bee's character is his undying loyalty to his friends. Multiple times throughout the show Bee takes hits for his friends/while trying to help his friends [Taking Meltdowns hit for Bulkhead, Taking Star's blaster for Sari and being stabbed trying to go help sari] Bee would take a million and one bullets for his friends so imagine how horribly shocking n baffling it could be for him to find out one of his friends was manipulating him this whole time... What does he do?

2. We could've learned how Bee would react when faced with this kind of situation, when him being loyal to his friends would put him in conflict with his other friends. We could see him struggle and falter grappling with it, but we could also see how great that undying loyalty of his is and see him overcome this.

3. Shockwave puts Bee's core values to the test just by existing. He's a friend of Bee's and Bee loves his friends more than anything but now he's betrayed him and may even be trying to keep manipulating him through all of this. Through parallels we could see the way Shockwave has broken bee and Contrast the disloyal nature of Longarm with the extreme loyalty Bee has.

Unlike wasp Shockwave just by being there could put Bee to the ultimate mental test, making bee question how loyal he should be if theres a chance that loyalty isnt shared, knocking Bee's already fragile confidence down and making Bee question himself n his values. [and he also got established in S2 so thats also way more in his favor] Before Bee could go through a wonderful character arc... what that character arc is? Well forgive me but I have a few ideas

1: If I had to pick the one I think the show would actually go with, I'd say Bee would go through a character arc abt learning that even if some bots out there will abuse n use his loyalty against him, his loyalty is a wonderful trait he has and also abt proving to his crew [and himself] that hes more clever n talented than they think by finding a way to take down Shockwave while being less than half his height. This is pretty straight forward-

2: This is the one I would prefer which would be one where Bee's arc is about how his kind heart and loyalty can change others for the better aka Shockwave redemption arc bby yeah we getting Shockbee in here u knew we would- Anyways, something interesting abt the autobots n how fucked up their culture really has to be, now I dont feel like gathering a ton of evidence rn so Im just gonna say trust me when I say I think Sentinel is the ultimate culmination of the autobot beliefs. He's harsh on the con prisoners borderline tortures them while saying it's just necessary and while he poses as the good guy deep down he's disloyal and far too military focused. So I think it's clear loyalty and kindness are probably not valued traits within autobot society which I think could really tie in with the way Bee has been outcasted from said autobot society his entire life. But bc Bee understands how that feels and is a kind person he always ends up falling in with fellow outcasts like Sari Bulkhead and most importantly Longarm.

And through that kindness n loyalty Bee actually manages to make Shockwave reconsider being a con and destroying the autobots. However Shockwave goes through with the reveal anyways n everyone is like 'see bee being kind n sympathetic isn't good actually' While Bee ponders on whether or not he could ever hurt Longarm after everything they had together and if that makes him even more of a failure than everyone thought. His self esteem at an all time low =[ BUT THEN, at some point in the show Shockwave reveals he can't hurt Bee either and when he considers the possibility that any Autobot he does hurt could be Bee's friends or family he finds he cannot hurt them either. Shockwave at some point confesses this to Bee who is surprised n tells him he's sorry for all he's done and if Bee doesn't want to be "Friends" anymore he understands But Bee tells Shockwave he still cares for him too and they hug it out as Bee's confidence lifts realizing that his strong loyalty n kind heart is all he needs to be considered valuable and the autobots were wrong.

Later down the road I think it would make sense for Shockwave to be massively important to the autobots winning against megatron as Shockwave being willing to help the autobots purely by being given kindness from Bee, would prove to the crew, the autobots [and Bee] he was always more vital to their success than they realized.

N then they kiss onscreen <3
