i genuinely hope they don't redeem nine. with the ten episode run time and with how action-packed this season's going to be, i want to watch his slow decline. starting off with just one wish - to create a world for himself, to change the grim, and then have it spiral over the course of the season. him seeing the iterations of himself from other shatterverses fight against him. watching them interact with their friends from their universes and wondering why he was born in this one, why those versions of him get encouraging hands on their shoulders when all he feels is the cold touch of metal on his back. him surrounding himself with robots in exact replicas as his opponents, not just for the sake of fighting. the envy, the anger, the desire to have power but the inability to control it. the leaking patience. he's playing god and i am here for it.

Trevor tries to leave Arcadia (with the help of Angela ofc), he tries to break free, to get away from the cameras, but the whole time he's being watched. The whole time there's an audience, people watching him and making hashtags and memes and booing him and cheering him on.

And Arcadia is popular, we know this. They have to be, in order to fund the ridiculous operation they have going on. They're a household name, a worldwide sensation, and now all of those people know Trevor Hills. Anywhere he goes, those eyes will be on him. Thinking bout a post campaign Maxim design.

Still formal and uptight, but a big captain style coat not quite fully buckled, strange swirling scars from the mindflayer battle, tools and navigation equipment in near holders on his belt. Not gaudy or flamboyant, just… a little bit rough, maybe with a tiny bit of swagger as he grows more confident in his place in the world again. Eyes brighter and a faint smile starting to become his default expression more than the blank one he formally wore. He lets the scars and scratches he gains stay, only buffing out the very minor or particularly damaging ones. No longer does he try to seem perfect and impenetrable. He lets the world wear on him, and he lets himself be as himself in all the vulnerable and slightly imperfect ways that manifests as.
