i miss writing this silly dukeman. sleepy thoughts but we forget how brilliant and innovative he is. how he engineered those gloves without any professional schooling or a vision and how he constructed a giant flying ship. i know he says he doesn’t have a talent for it but he lies and humbles himself. I really do think if Wrio had not the childhood he had, he could have become a researcher of the institute. and I’m sure that’s never been a thought that crossed his mind or a dream he had. Wrio plays the hand life’s dealt him and he’s winning so it doesn’t matter if doesn’t have the license or degree to be an engineer.

but Wriothesley does have the mind of an engineer. I think the apprenticeships he was under gave him the tools, the experience, and the materials to make his gloves but they weren’t anything of an achievement or certification. And knowing Fontaine with all its laws, only certified engineers can construct innovations. but because the fortress is independent making that ship was top secret.
