ok, let me introduce them>>>

this is an adult Neji who survived the war, hope it is obvious bc of his scars. Along with Hinata Neji is the main POV in my HC.

Kō Hyūga with my redesign. I got so used to this appearance on him, so I have to remind myself that he doesn't look this way in the canon and other people may not recognise him.

He is 2,5 years older than Neji. In my HC his B-day is on 31 December because this day is Bertolt’s (AoT) b-day and my HC Kō has many things in common with Bertolt. His temper is soft  and is much like Hinata's, only that he is rather strong and is confident in his skills. His problem is the unhealthy desire to meet other people's expectations, the fear of accepting himself as he is.

He was the younger son in one of the main house’s families, but his elder brother was killed during Orochimaru invasion, his eyes torn out and stolen. It happened 2 weeks before Kō’s 17th birthday, so he didn’t get the seal. But it makess him miserable, he would happily bear a hundred seals if only it could turn his brother back to life. He has always been on good terms with Hinata, he looked after her and was supposed to be her guard. After the events of OG Kō gradually makes friends with Neji and eventually becomes one of the closest ppl for both Neji and Hinata. Kō is one of 4 POVs in my HC.

Kō is a sweet cinnamon bun and just perfect, I want to marry him but he is 2D and gay :(

Hiashi Hyūga. My fav part of this art.

Hiashi is DILF.Don't judge me.

I hc him being rather young, so that he is around 31-32 yo during Chunin Exam Arc I gave him background story and better developed personality in my hc so he turned out to be a very interesting and contradicting character.

Hiashi is one of POVs in my HC, through his character the clan’s story, traditions, political relations with the village, with Uchiha clan and inside the clan are told.

Tokuma Hyūga a.k.a Neji's main rival for the title of the most handsome Hyūga man. In my HC Tokuma looked after Neji when his father died and his mother was away on missions so he is kinda brother for Neji even tho they are not that close related. Tokuma has a rather difficult and heavy character, Neji picked some of his traits up. He is not too tall, around 175cm, and looks really young being one of the eldest among Neji, Kō and the next character. 

This one is my OC. His name is Yojiru.

At first I wanted him to be more like RtN Neji, but gradually he switched to Dandelion from the Witcher saga. He is Neji's first cousin, their mothers were sisters, so they look alike. He is almost 10 years older than Neji. He is a poor fighter and  medic-nin, but is rather well-read and knows a lot of things. He is also a talented musician, he plays some musical instruments, sings and even writes songs. He likes to tell jokes and fool around, he has a playful and carefree nature.

In the time skip period between OG and Shippuden he gets acquainted with Ko, they quickly become friends. Yojiru teaches Kō to live for himself and not to look back on other ppl opinion. Later they become lovers.

Hoheto Hyūga. He was a background character in the canon and for now he is only a background character in my HC. He is the oldest man on this art, he is around 5-7 years older than Hiashi I think he is a real clan's patriot judging from the scene with him on the war. Probably he is Hiashi’s guard and assistant.

This one is a rather new OC that is based on one of background Hyūgas from the anime. I HC that he is Natsu's older twin brother. They are from the main house so he doesn't have a seal, and Natsu being the younger twin has it. At the moment I don’t have any ideas about his personality, I'm choosing a name for him from Aki and Haru.

I was reading some haters comments in Quora and was ridiculous.

Sasuke tried to kill two times Sakura at his lowest point, used a Genjutsu to her not interfere in his fight with Naruto, but was reedemed, was sorry, Sakura forgave him and they began to rebuild their bond from Part 1? Ridiculous and bad writing. Sasuke still is a abuser and Sakura is a stupid fangirl. Abuse implies he was taking advantage of a relationship between the two, but no such thing existed at that point. Sasuke was trying to kill everyone who he used to care about because of the curse of hatred and his traumas. Haters make it sound like he was coming home to his girlfriend and beating her because he was drunk. Not to mention Sakura went out there to kill him in the first place. He didn't hunt Sakura to kill her.

But at the same time:

Obito started a War who killed 40.000 lifes, killed Minato and Kushina, Killed Neji, tried to kill a Baby, helped to kill his own Clan. Naruto defended him against Black Zetsu because Obito had at some point the same dream as him and still Rin was waiting him after all the atrocity Obito did? Cool Gaara Killed a dozens of innocent people from his own village, abused and terrifying his brothers, tried to kill everyone including Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke later becomed one of the Naruto’s best friend and the Kazekage? Cool. Neji tortured and almost killed Hinata in their fight? cool. Sasuke forgave Itachi even after his killed his own Clan and tortured him with a 72 Hour Genjutsu showing the death of their parents thousands of time for no reason? Cool. The list can go on with Nagato, Kabuto, Orochimaru and many others.

Why so many Haters refuse to acknowledge SasuSaku's bond and only choose the Kage Summit Arc scenes to judge them, ignoring the Curse of Hatred and Sasuke's severally trauma? They never even mention the scenes in Part 1, Sasuke's sorry and the Forehead Poke.

They actually have a lot of intimate moments for a Shonen Manga in Part 1 like many Hugs, Sasuke defending Sakura after the sound team badly injured her, regressing the cursed seal because of her, Sakura beggining to care genuinely about Sasuke's well being, Sasuke willing to sacrifice his life and objective to save her from Gaara before itachi fucked up his mind, and finally his derpature and Sakura's confession.

Why the double standard only for SasuSaku? It's because they have something personal against Sakura, SasuSaku and their fans?

Sorry anon, I think this has been sitting in my inbox for quite a while since I was pretty busy these past weeks.

You already mentioned a lot of the haters' favorite biases. The thing is, it's a common phenomenon in fandom, that popular characters who are generally depicted as the "good guys" and often the protagonists, get excused for almost everything they do while other characters are hated for these exact or similar actions.

I don't know if you've watched Game of Thrones but it's a good example for that: there are some cases of incest in the series, and while certain characters are despised for it by fans, being called disgusting (which is a normal reaction to something like that, let's be real), others are excused for it because they are more popular among the fans. Fans would start playing it down or even ignoring it with their favs, while hating on the other characters for the exact same thing.

We're all biased in a way, we all have our favs and characters we dislike. Most fans are still able to judge objectively and keep discussions fair, but some are, unfortunately, not. And oh, the internet with its anonymity is a wonderful place to let it all out.

First impression: This guy is weird. Do not like, put him in less please

Impression now: Amazing character. So kind and supportive. Just generally really sweet, i adore him. One of my top fav’s.

Favorite moment: The Race. Just… his undying support of Kakashi. How he has never, not even for a second, been jealous of Kakashi’s accomplishments but has always supported him and stood by his side. How he used the race thinking they wouldn’t be able to continue their rivalry because of Kakashi’s new duties, and just let loose and had so much fun with it.

Idea for a story: I’m gonna make him cry XD umm, a story i have started but havwn’t finished is Gai going to Yamato’s when he has a headache, looking for a safe place to hide from the sun because his apartment feels too empty and Kakashi’s away on a mission, so Yamato invited him in and supports him through the suffering

Unpopular opinion: Not actually the bestest sensei ever. A lot of what people see in him as ‘best sensei ever’ is kinda fandom. Like he never did much for Neji and what we see with him and Tenten is filler only cuz Kishi is horrible at giving the girls character build up. Amazing teacher, but not ‘best sensei ever’ sorry

Favorite relationship: Kakashi and Gai 💜💜💜 Platonic or Romantic these two are perfect together.

Favorite headcanon: that he gets really bad migraines when he over extends himself or doesn’t sleep for long periods of time, and has to hide in a blanket or cover his eyes from the light.

Season 6

This season is basically a filler season since the episodes have nothing to do with Naruto finding Sasuke etc however, I still loved watching a lot of the stories. I genuinely really liked seeing all the other ninjas get some more screen time because I love them all sodjsidjjs

My favourite one is the one where Shino, Hinata, Neji & Naruto head out to find that really specific scent-tracking insect so they can use it to find Sasuke. I absolutely loved this storyline because Hinata got some character development and she actually took action for once lmaooo I also just love Shino and Neji in general they’re so cool I just think they’re NEAT sodjsidjdjjs also the way they went through so much to get that one bug only for Naruto to just ruin the mission with a fart was so ?&?!!!????!? like I laughed so much and I just know that 9 year old me would have loved this too

Also, I think liked that storyline a lot because Neji and Shino are two of my fav characters! Did I mention that I think they’re neat?

The Raiga Kurosuki and Ranmaru storyline was honestly quite sad….like bro…. the storylines/plots of characters admitting that they just exist to be of service to other characters because being connected to them is the only way they see worth in themselves is so….so…..hang on…who else cried slsksijdjs it’s just a reoccurring theme in this entire show and Naruto is almost always the one who goes ‘you can’t live for other people. You have to live for you 🧡’ like….so true king so true and then he’s like ‘I’m your friend now. I don’t make the rules. Let’s live our best lives!’ and I absolutely love Naruto for that 🧡

Season 7

'Laughing Shino' is definitely one of my favorite filler episodes because it's just so silly.

Tbh I did watch a good chunk of this season but I don't really recall anything super memorable aside from the episode I mentioned above.

Season 8

I just went through my netflix history and I literally didn't watch an episode entirely or I just skipped it fkdjsfkljds

Again, all just fillers

None of them seemed very appealing to me but maybe I'll go back and give a few episodes a chance <3

Season 9

I'm so glad this season was really short. The entire thing was basically a filler except for the last episode I think. I thought Gaara was involved in all of them but he was only really there for the last 5, so I ended up skipping the first half dfjksdlfds

I ADORED the fact that the entire ninja crew went on this mission and I loved that we got to see them work together (except TENTEN fkjdskfjlkds she didn't go and I honestly didn't realize until the very end when she was beating Lee up for not inviting her fjsdlkfjds) Tenten I am so sorry for not noticing that you were gone

Anyway, that filler was very entertaining and I was just soooo happy to see Gaara, Temari and Kankuro together. My most beloved siblings <3

Like the 'villain' was an awful guy but you could just tell this guy was not going to win hahaha

YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE WAS JUST *chef kisses*????? So in season 5, the Sand Siblings came to help the gang when they went after Sasuke to try and get him back. In season 5, each Sand sibling helped one of the Leaf Ninjas like Temari helped Shikarmu (teehee), Gaara helped Lee & I think Kankurō helped Kiba. Anyway in the last season, it was the Sand Siblings fighting these bad guys individually and when the Leaf Ninjas came to help, the way they split up mirrored the way they helped each other out in season 5 (like again it was Temari and Shikarmu paired off etc). Poetic cinema, the perfect way to end the series. I hope that made sense but it’s late and my head hurts kddjkdjdw

Shippuden Thoughts/Expectations

I know Sasuke and Naruto will eventually meet again, so I cannot wait to see that

OUTFIT CHANGES. PLEASE. HELLO PLEASE

Romance....perhaps? Like I personally don't get too invested in ships, but Temari and Shikamaru have mad chemistry so if tHEY DON'T GKFJDSGKLJDFKGJDFL

I feel like there will be more '''villains' in this season and I just hope they are COOL and not INSUFFERABLE like Kabuto. If I see him again, I'm throwing hands on SIGHT because I can't stand him

Super excited to know more about the mysterious Itachi and his crew!!! I have already forgotten what they're called, but they are very cool to me <3

Basically, I am eager to see how all of the kid's powers have developed during over the years and I am rooting for all of them <3

A/N: I am ashamed to admit this one shot is extremely late as it is meant to be for Naruto's birthday. Nevertheless, I hope you all enjoy it and a quick SPOILER warning for anyone who is not up to date with where the Boruto anime currently is.

Uzumaki Naruto smiled to himself as he sat at his desk in the Hokage office, working on a never-ending pile of paperwork. He's gotten better at hiding himself, though I wonder what he wants at this time of night. "You should come inside, Boruto. Your mom would kill me if you caught a cold."

Boruto swore and hopped in the room, closing the window behind him. His blonde hair was ruffled and his blue eyes were shining with excitement, reminding Naruto of his younger self. "Uncle Sasuke said that would work."

Naruto chuckled. "I'm sure he did. Why are you up this late anyway? You should be in bed, not sneaking out of the house."

"I wanted to talk to you," Boruto explained. "And since you obviously can't come home right now, I decided to come to you. Mom said not to bother you, so I waited until she fell asleep."

He's more mischievous than I was at his age, thought Naruto, paling at what Hinata's reaction would be when she found out. Still, it's better than him hating me. "What did you want to talk to me about?"

"There's something that's been bothering me since my last mission," Boruto told him, frowning slightly and crossing his arms over his chest. "Shinki said ninjas are just weapons, but we're not, right?"

Naruto sighed and sat back in his chair. "Unfortunately there are those who still believe the mission takes priority over everything else and that ninjas are simply tools bred to carry out orders without question."

"I get completing the mission is important," said Boruto. "But I refuse to sacrifice any of my friends."

Naruto stared at his son thoughtfully. "What would you do then?"

"Complete the mission without losing anyone," replied Boruto.

Naruto laughed.

"What's so funny?" demanded Boruto, flushing.

"You may not be exactly like me, kiddo, but you inherited more than my good looks and for that I'm glad," explained Naruto.

"Heh, I got some of Mom's looks too so don't go taking all of the credit," responded Boruto with a grin. "What do you mean inherited more?"

"Before I graduated from the Academy and became a part of Team 7, I had no one," Naruto replied as his eyes turned inwards to those miserable days swinging by himself as the villagers ignored him. "No friends, no family. Then Iruka-sensei acknowledged me, and I became friends with Sasuke, Sakura-chan, and the others. I was so happy I decided I would do everything in my power to keep them safe while at the same time, I would help complete our missions. I couldn't protect everyone though. We lost a lot of good people before you and Hima were born: your Uncle Neji, Asuma, Itachi, Pervy Sage, Granny Chiyo, and Obito."

"But their deaths weren't your fault," argued Boruto. "They all died because they believed the same things we do. They wouldn't want you to feel responsible. I'm sure Uncle Neji and the others would want you to keep moving forward according to your own ninja way. Never give up, right?"

"You're really something, you know that?" Naruto murmured, touched. "I know I've never said this before, but I'm proud to be your father and am grateful to be able to be here to witness you growing up."

Boruto beamed. "I'm happy you're here too, old man."

~ To Be a Ninja ~

Boruto strode down a path of the Konoha of his dad's childhood, staring at the back of a younger Naruto as the sun began to set in front of them. Dad really hasn't changed much since he was a kid. Though he seems a lot sadder. I know he said the villagers ostracized him, but now he has a bunch of friends, yet he walks with weighted shoulders. I wonder if it has to do with this genin who deserted the village.

"Hey," said Boruto, causing Naruto to look back at him. "That genin everyone was talking about today, why did he decide to leave the village?"

Naruto grimaced. "He said he didn't want to be here because it made him weak and he needs to become more powerful to complete his goal of revenge. I told him he was wrong. I tried to get him to come back. I wasn't strong enough but with Pervy Sage's training, someday I will bring him home."

"Never give up, huh?" mused Boruto, smirking slightly. "So, in other words, you want to rescue your friend and become Hokage?"

"Yep," confirmed Naruto, his earlier grin returning. "I'll prove heroes do exist."

Dad really is incredible, thought Boruto. All the pain he experienced only made him even more awesome. I swear I'll protect you from Urashiki, Dad. No matter what. This world needs you to show them what it means to be a true ninja because we are not tools, we have emotions. We can accomplish missions and protect those we care about.

Naruto's stomach grumbled loudly, making him blush and place his hands on it. "Man, all that cleaning made me really hungry."

Boruto laughed as his stomach growled too. "You wanna get some ramen at Ichiraku's?"

Naruto nodded and they raced over there. "What do you want?"

Which one did Dad say he liked? pondered Boruto. "What about Miso?"

Naruto grinned and ordered two miso. "You've never had ramen at Ichiraku's before, right?"

Actually, I have, replied Boruto mentally. But I can't tell him that besides I don't want to ruin his moment. "Nope."

"I thought so," said Naruto, handing him a pair of chopsticks. "You're going to love it! It's even better than the ones I have at home. Thanks for the food!"

"Thanks for the food!" repeated Boruto, pressing his hands together before digging in. Even now, Ichiraku's is really good. Though any ramen tastes good when Dad is with me.

~ To Be a Ninja ~

"'Combination'?" echoed Boruto, cocking a blonde eyebrow.

Jiraiya nodded. "Since your chakra natures are similar, we should be able to create a move to beat Urashiki once and for all. With my guidance, of course."

Boruto glanced at his father. That must be why the Rasengan I used against Momoshiki was so big, besides Dad being so powerful anyway. I wouldn't mind learning from his master too, even if he is a perverted old man. "I say let's give it a shop."

Naruto looked up from staring at Boruto's injured hand and inclined his head. The guilt from before shined in his blue eyes.

He still feels responsible, noted Boruto. I can't even imagine losing control of myself like that. It must be Hell. I should try to cheer him up. "You better not hold me back."

"Heh," snorted Naruto. "Who are you talking to? You're the one who would be holding me back."

There's the Dad I know, thought Boruto. The one who will one day teach me how to be a ninja.

okay is it just me or is naruto not that good of an anime like everyone hypes it up to be 😭

ndnsntne i definitely disagree i loved it 😭 well i think naruto was a lot of ppls first anime or early animes bc they either watched it as it was airing and was there while it was popular and grew up on it, or it was the anime they watched when they first started getting into anime — so i guess it’s sentimental to a lot of people. do i think it’s one of the best animes ever ?? no definitely not, it has a lot of flaws especially with the way some of the characters are written and stuff *cough cough sakura* but i think it’s got a pretty solid plot that i enjoyed and it’s a rly easy anime to get attached to especially once you rly get into the wave arc and start to see the characters grow. like naruto during the wave arc was my fav naruto in the first show. and wave arc’s entire budget was spent on kakashi 😻 maybe also naruto in the chunin exams was a fav too like it was so endearing to me to see how far he came in that short time. the chunin exams was probably the best arc for me overall bc rock lee, neji, sasuke, gaara, they all grow on you so fast in that arc

I wouldn’t recommend it because it’s so long and has so many problems but obviously I liked it enough to watch it all and obsess over it fav characters: Sasuke!!! (obviously), also I like Naruto in a “I could fix his character arc” kind of way, I also like Juugo and Neji and Konan a lot least fav characters: Tobirama, Hiruzen, Danzo, Jiraiya fav relationship: Well my main favorite relationship is Sasuke and his mom because I think it’s sweet and he deserves to be loved and to be with his family, I find Naruto and Sasuke’s relationship compelling because of how they theoretically could have complemented each other thematically and because of its poignance but I’m also pretty bothered by some aspects of it so I have a love-hate relationship with it, I also like Sasori and Deidara’s banter fav moment: When Sasuke said he would destroy the village after learning the truth about the massacre, also when he confronted the past kages about what a village is headcanons/theories: I like to think that Pein was really uptight about the Akatsuki’s dress code and would get mad if someone showed up to a meeting without nail polish unpopular opinion: Well I think “Sasuke was right” is sadly an unpopular opinion among the general fan base, but within my side of the fandom I guess my unpopular opinion is that I really don’t care either way about Sakura and I don’t understand how people can have so much love or hatred for her. I tend to think people who don’t like her have a better grasp of her character than her stans because they acknowledge her flaws and that's more interesting than making her into a generic girlboss, and I hate it when people use her to hate on Sasuke, but beyond that I just don’t think she’s a particularly relevant character and the discourse surrounding her kind of bores me. how’d you find it: Obviously I’d heard of it but it would pop up in almost every anime-related discussion at some point so I wanted to know what it was like random thoughts: I think it’s funny that so many people are captivated by it in a “this is bad but it could have been good” kind of way but for completely different reasons and with completely different ideas about how to fix it, some of which I vehemently disagree with

I think it has incredibly powerful moments but having the protagonist go too far in a moment of anger and emotion isn’t something new to the genre exactly, nor is having a complex and humanized villain who becomes better, I think Togashi just managed to execute those in a really poignant and original way. It’s like the embodiment of that post that’s like “it subverted expectations by being good instead of bad” lol how’d you find it: I think anime rec lists and really positive reviews when I was first getting into anime random thoughts: I really liked how the story never really felt formulaic or like it was trying to communicate a specific message to you but still managed to convey meaningful ideas and emotions and interesting plot lines

💥 What is one canon thing that you wish you could change?

This feels like a trick question because if we dive into Naruto there are so many things I would change haha. But probably if I had to choose it would only be the ending, like the epilogue. Maybe not even to replace it with my own I would just obliterate it from existence and leave everyone free to imagine the after. That means Boruto is toast too obviously.

Apart from that and as a credit to your pfp, the Hyuuga thing is prob one of the first things I would want to change. With a proper resolution and explicit condemnation of their clan system, and Neji living to see it change for the better, of course.

Oh!! But the worst canon thing I've ever seen, like the one true betrayal, was Quentin's death at the end of The Magicians season 4, and the whole end of this season tbh. This is the one time a canon happening made me leave entirely a show I was very into.

🦋 Which character is your favorite to write?

I feel like my go-to answer is Sasuke but I don't know if he's my fav to write or just my fav period. Generally I like best to write very closed-off and emotionally in turmoil characters struggling with random feelings, people that resist the feels. I really liked writing Ho Beom from Navillera for example, or Jo Yeons from Eternal Monarch. Characters Going Through It y'know.

I finished season 1!!!!! It's so cool and I can't wait to see what happens next. They're about to start the second phase of the exam but I don't know what they're gonna do for it yet. There's a lot of characters I'm interested in, but I'm still learning their names. I can't wait to see how they develop! I am worried that some of them won't be returning characters tho... I've uh. Already gotten attached to characters that can't come back.. But! I only cried not a very large amount so I think that means I win 😎 There's so many things I want to know about their world and how things work there! I've also noticed that it has some similar things to hxh which is good because I've also really enjoyed that too. My sister is the one that got me into hxh, so I can probably get her into this too! Anyways I want to get inside all these characters' heads and dig around. I love learning about how their brains work. I'm so curious about sasuke... he's got something hiding in his head and I would like to know everything about it. I have conflicting feelings of both "I could fix him" and "I encourage him to get worse". I also really enjoy the balance between comedy and angst bc I love both! Overall it's a very fun emotional rollercoaster

Only noticing this; his mother's last words to him slowly began to resurface in Naruto's memory, as he was currently stranded within a dark cave, in the middle of an ongoing storm, with only Hinata Hyuuga to give him company.

First of all, I just wanna say that I am a sucker for NH blank period. Both after the war and the ten yr time skip. The idea of Naruto unconsciously pining for Hinata is so darn cute to me. Though, I love LOVE The Last, I can’t help but feel as if it was rushed or lacking. idek it lacked build up or a proper, rational explanation as to why Naruto felt that way for Hinata. I don’t like how it came off as “Oh she likes me? Well damn, I think I like her too.” I hated that. I hated how they executed it. I know that wasn’t the context of the story, I know that he realized his feelings for her but idk man, it lacked a lot of shit. At least until I read in a novel that Naruto and Hinata had in fact been hanging out more post war, and gradually became closer to the point of Sakura teasing Naruto about it. I also read up on some fics about Post War Blank Period and I just kinda made my own interpretations and headcanon and bam! problem solved. The idea of Naruto unconsciosly liking her while also becoming really good pals is so.fucking.cute. It’s basically your typical slow burn, friends to lovers. The slowest slow burn in history 

I want to know Naruto’s perspective about Hinata so baddd. Like, why’d you choose her? If you never found out she loved you, would you still choose her? And even though the anime never expounded on that, there are some subtle hints about it and I think its really cute. How he just immaturely blurts out how amazing she is or how strong she is. And the fact that he’s the only one to support her way back in the chuunin exams. I love that he’s so dopey about his feelings and how he’s her biggest fan, that I wanted to play around with it. I also saw in the games, Naruto Storm something, that Kakashi and Sakura poked fun at them by playing around and pushing the NH agenda by forcing them to go on missions together. Which is so freaking cute and so definitely canon idc.

And what I LOVE about NH the most is THE MINAKUSHI PARALLELS AJSFLJDK. How Naruto and Kushina are alike, Minato and Hinata are both calm, gentle soft little babies and they just contrast their partners so much aslhdjf. I LOVE THAT!!! This then made me remember about Kushina’s last words. “Find someone just like me” And like, a lot of *coughs* bitter shippers *coughs* misinterpreted that into a literal sense. Even Kishimoto fucking played around with it and I know it was a red herring but cmon man! We’re already on a tightrope here! That gf thingy in the war was so frustrating to watch omg. 

And I thought, hey, if you think about it, Naruto really doesn’t know how to grasp the concept of romantic love, the only love he’s been introduced to was either familial or platonic or a brotherly type of love. He knows what it looks like from the outside, (like Sakura being in love with Sasuke type of love) He knows what a crush feels like but he doesn’t know what romantic type of love feels like. You know?? Even Gaara couldn’t differentiate love between “a man and a woman” and love for comrades. No one handed it down to them on a silver platter and you can’t learn this shit in school or in thesaurus, you have to learn from it through experience, like how he learned about love throughout the series. And what better way to teach about it than through his very own mother! 

Kushina lecturing Naruto about romantic love and the difference between infatuation and true love is so freaking cute, I could not get that scenario out of my head. He has another dream of her and she just sits him through the difference of loving ramen and loving a real person. She so patient with him when she explains about what she meant by to “find someone just like her” Someone who was willing to go through it all, just like what his parents had done for him. Someone who’d love him unconditionally, just as much as they loved him. Someone who’d see past his bravado and heroic persona and fall in love for that dumb, reckless boy that he is :,)) Kushina would love Hinata so much I just can’t man afjshfs they fucking robbed of this. THEY FUCKING ROBBED US. 

I also mentioned Neji since Naruto was hella guilty about his death and it would make sense if Hinata was the one to talk him out of his shithole again. And you know, Neji would actually be the reason why they got closer in the first place. You know LIKE HOW KISHIMOTO FUCKING INTENDED IT BUT NEVER ONCE MENTIONED NEJI AFTERWARDS ALFHJSKGIE. My boi didn’t even get a freaking cameo in The Last T^T. Kishi stop hurting us like this T^T

So in my story, I combined all three factors that could push Naruto to maybe spur something within him about Hinata. I feel like if there was a similar animated episode, a filler or two maybe, where Naruto and Hinata are seen hanging out and slowly becoming closer, that would’ve been such a good segue for The Last and the whole “he realized his feelings for her” plot would’ve made more sense. So yeah, this story was basically how I wanted things to turn out and I’ve made this shit canon in my head now and no one can stop me :DDD Go read it if you want some NH blank period fluff in your life <3

I'm glad so many people enjoyed this chapter, but for me it was pretty meh tbh. It had some great moments, but the general writing felt super rushed to me.

- So they arrived in Odiha already... I was hoping for more talk and bonding on the ship, but at least we got some talk in Odiha

- The bombs Armin mentioned will definitely be important. I hope it won't be another suicide mission, suicide missions got really repetitive at this point

- Falco finally showed more reaction to the deaths of his loved ones, was waiting for this!

- I loved the MikAnnie conversation! I think it's pretty fitting Annie doesn't want to fight and I'm glad she didn't change her mind. Of course there is a possibility she might join the fight later, but I personally hope she won't. Give her some rest

- Love Mikasa and Annie bonding!!

- The way Mikasa noticed Annie's feelings was really funny. Now we got the confirmation Annie has feelings for Armin either, there is no ship that's more canon at this point

- AruAni haters would say it's character regression of Annie, but I think it's the opposite. Annie always hid her emotions and was a loner, she'd never open up to anyone except Hitch maybe. So her allowing Armin to love her, someone she has feelings for either, is good development. It would have been different if AruAni were toxic, but it's pretty healthy imo

- F if one of them dies lmao I hope they both make it out alive

- When Mikasa said she has the scarf... Does she mean she has it somewhere in Paradis or with her right now? I'm really looking forward to the EreMika confrontation. I used to be both EreMika and JeanKasa, but not EreMika anymore since timeskip because Eren is an ass and a genocidal maniac. But I'm still fond of it and really looking forward to its closure

- Mikasa however is still delusional if she believes she can bring old Eren back. Not to mention old Eren was already a maniac. I can't blame Mikasa though, everyone would be biased in this situation

- Levi's finally talking since chapters again, I missed him! Isayama trolled himself when Levi said "I'll be forgotten if I sleep more" because he got so little screentime 😀

- Same as Pieck when she said "I have nothing to do". I love Pieck, but what's her character arc right now? I don't know and I am afraid she will die soon. But I think she will play a part in the ZeVi confrontation since she was part of rts, has nothing else to do and she was next to Levi in the plane, maybe they'll have a talk next chapter?

- I loved Pieck mentioning her death comrades, I want her to react to Porco's death more, maybe that's the closest reaction we'll get 😔

- So Yelena indeed knows where Eren is going, I thought she was bluffing

- He is aiming for the flying boats in port Salta. I wonder if those flying boats are going to have some importance - I hope. Some people could save themselves by using those planes and they have a military base there, so maybe the military will be more useful than in 130?

- I also had this crack thought: Imagine the military in port Salta decides to take their planes/airships to attack Paradis. A desperate attempt to stop the rumbling "If rumbling won't be stopped immediately, we'll attack Paradis with our planes". It would be a horrible thought, but not impossible. Paradis is totally unprotected right now and an easy target. All shifters gone and a lot of soldiers dead. This would also be a good opportunity to introduce Historia to the story again

- Lmao Yelena wanting approval of euthanasia. Of course euthanasia is not cool at all, but imo way better than genocide. Btw Zeke coming back when? Pls next chapter

- My favourite moment was probably the conversation between Reiner and Annie. I waited so long for Reiner apologising to her and I'm happy Isayama made it happen

- That AruAni goodbye wow. No words could express the same amount of emotions as this eye contact did

- Floch comeback.. Floch dead. I'm not a fan of Floch, but his death and closure was very underwhelming, rushed and one reason I didn't like this chapter so much. He was a plot device this chapter. A plot device for drama and to kill off Hanji indirectly for more drama. I expected more. In this case it would have been better if he died in the port battle or not die at all

- Engineer-kun is a hero

- Too late, rumbling is there. Reiner and Armin arguing who's gonna sacrifice themselves was a bit pathetic. They are both suicidal af. Especially my boy Reiner. I feel like he mainly did it because he still wishes to die as hero. Similar to Historia back then in the snow with Ymir and Daz. That's the main reason I want Reiner to survive this series because his wish to die got so pathetic at this point

- Reiner saying "Armin will stop Eren" started a fight between Reiner Helos and Armin Helos fans which is annoying lol. Of course I tend to Reiner Helos because Reiner is my fav, but tbh I think stopping Eren will be a group effort, so more like Alliance Helos

- Now let's talk about Hanji's sacrifice. Next to Floch's death it's the main reason this chapter was meh to me. I am biased because I loved Hanji and mourn, but imo the death was unnecessary, avoidable and only there to create some drama. I don't know if I'll ever get over it. But still: Hanji is the goat and will be very missed. Now I am afraid we'll have more unnecessary deaths for drama, I'm tired of the repetitive suicide missions

- Levi and Hanji - oh well my heart hurts. Levi yet again lost another important person, how will it effect him? Who is able to hold him back now? He is so alone. But I don't want him to die, even if he could reunite with his comrades again. Levi putting his hand on Hanji saying "Shinzou wo sasageyo" fuck. I wasn't ready for this. And I still can't accept Hanji's death 😭

- So when Erwin and the scouts appeared... Was it a vision or afterlife? Imo it was the latter because we saw Hanji's blood and more importantly we saw Keith Shadis, Hanji doesn't know he's dead. And how is afterlife far fetched if we have paths fckery and titans?

- Some people support afterlife especially because characters could reunite with dead characters again. Dead ships could become alive again. Somewhat. I understand it, but I don't like this thought process at all. Like I am a huge NejiTen fan (never accept Neji's death, it was as unnecessary as Hanj's), and of course I hope they'd reunite again once Tenten dies - but not now, Tenten shall live a long happy life first and Neji would want the same.
