Do I think that the musical score is better than the movie musical one overall ? Yeah

Do I still love the cast of mean girls 2024 and their energy and enjoyed the movie bc it's a silly fun time and I am gay and in love with Auli'i and Reneé especially ?

Hell yeah.

I have been in love with Regina and Janis in all their versions. I needed to be one second in, seeing Auli'i singing Cautionary Tale with that guitar, to be all in for the movie.

Reneé was a given already but damn Auli'i ate it up.

In general I feel like the cast was having fun and were great. And yeah Angourie does not have the voice compared to the others especially and the broadway actress but she is not awful. I think she just falls way harder bc you have almost everyone else who is like professional singer.

I don't think I've ever talked about this before, but back in 1989 Ikeno Koi and Hiiragi Aoi (of Whispers of the Heart fame) collaborated on a series of crossover illustrations featuring characters from Tokimeki Tonight and Hoshi no hitomi no silhouette. I adore these, obviously -- they're both amazing shojo artists, and back in 1989 they were the top two artists in Ribon magazine! What a treat. I love all of these, but I particularly love that for some reason, Ikeno and Hiiragi decided that Tokimeki's Sand should hook up with Hoshi no hitomi's Tsukasa, lol. That is the closest to a romantic encounter Sand has ever had in the entirety of Tokimeki's run.

oh. my. GOD. this is such a sweet idea, im crying. you're a genius anon. i'm also very much obsessed with his jewelry, but this idea…. 😭

as we know, he's got so many bracelets… and so many rings… usually, he goes through his routine of taking them all off a long time before the race, storing them in his little box in the team's truck. but one day, it has just slipped his mind and suddenly he's standing by the car, all ready to jump in, when he realizes that he's still wearing them all. it's far too late to go back to the truck now, so he gets nervous for a second – before he remembers that you're there.

a confused look grows on your face when he walks up to you in the paddock – he's supposed to prepare for the race, what's he doing? – but then, he grabs one of your wrists, holding the hand up towards him and opening it. he starts sliding his rings down his fingers, placing them into the palm of your hand. then, he takes off his bracelets, one by one, which takes a lot of time as he's got about millions of those fan bracelets. when he's finally done, he folds your hand, wrapping both of his hands around it. he looks at you softly, and tells you: "keep them safe for me."

you nod, your frown morphing into a smile instantly. and lastly, when his hands let go of you, he reaches to the back of his neck, unclasping his necklaces and taking them off him – before reaching towards your neck, putting them on you. then he presses a quick peck to your temple, before hurrying off to his car again while being scolded by his engineer about not being in the car already.

#another bonus under the cut where i got up under their big head to get 'em a little closer and a little more front-facing #aggron #aggron is just cool. a big metal bitch who *could* hug you but is probably actually just gonna obliterate you. is that anything #i think i prefer lairon more. it's kinda just a little metal creature and i think that's awesome but aggron stands up #and normally i'm a big big fan of when pokémon stand up. when everyone wanted sprigatito to not stand up i was like #please stand up. because i am a furry and i knew it was gonna become favorite pokémon material if it did. and it did and meowscarada is #wonderful and i love it and it's one of my top like 10 of all time. but aggron is like. i dunno. a little too gruff for me #i think aron and lairon are cute and i'm generally a fan of and user of cute pokémon but aggron is very. how you say. aggressive #and also… ron… aggressive ron. new show on netflix i just reinvented aggretsuko but for pokémon #also weirdly every furry on the face of the earth likes aggretsuko but for one i've never had a netflix account and for two i just #don't ever watch shows. it's just not something that works in my brain. having to get them‚ and then just taking the time to sit down and do #it just never does anything for me. the last show i watched was because i was over at a friend's house and he was like hey. we're watching #this show now. i want you to see this show. and it's a show that folks generally lamented for a lot of reasons so i was like iii dunno about #that one! but he was like no trust me it's fine. and then i was like. kinda uninterested at first but it turned out to be really good #and i'm still ashamed. that i liked it as much as i did. so i will not say what it is. it's not supernatural. it's a short-ish show #but like it was good and i didn't expect it to be. which has nothing to do with aggretsuko OR with aggron for that matter #literally idk. look it's distraction (AGGRON DISTRACTION)
