so yesterday latvia won it's first ever medal in the men's ice hockey championship and i can't even explain how much it means to our tiny nation of less than 2 million people

the whole country is so elated right now that our parlament called an emergency meeting before midnight and unanimously declared a national holiday, meaning we all get a day off to celebrate and greet our players
