Feitan

He does find you precious when you act innocent and clumsy.

Normally, Feitan is not the person to like those types of people, but for you, it was different.

Whenever you trip or hurt yourself, Feitan will always be there to help you up and tend your wounds.

So, you don't need to worry about others helping you out when he's here!

Kurapika

He loves your clumsiness and sweet personality.

He would see you get hurt almost every minute, which makes him stay by your side 24/7.

Which is why he couldn't let you leave his side.

He just can't let you get hurt all the time.

Besides just standing by your side, he watches you do your own thing.

Sometimes, you do catch him stalking you, but he just dismisses it.

Other than that, Kurapika is such a sweetheart to you.

Kite

Kite has mixed emotions for you.

At first, he found you kind of annoying because of your constant falling.

However, over time he did get fond of you because of your kind nature towards him.

He would get overprotective of you when you ask him if you could go somewhere by yourself.

His only answers are "Okay, but I'll come with you" and "No".

And, he would not hesitate to slaughter anyone if they try to lay their hands on you.

He would even fight that person to death if he had to.

Track 04. ねぇちゃん,つきあわへんか "Would ya like to spend time with me, miss?" starts at 16.55

Disclaimer:

This is a fun bonus content from the 1999 anime that I decided to translate because I want others to enjoy it too (´꒳`)♡ Do note that some of the characters might act in an unusual comedic manner.

Summary:

After Chrollo finds Neon Nostrade, he's pondering how to strike up a conversation with her. Neon is busy complaining to herself, and Chrollo is too preoccupied with his internal monologue.

[Neon] Alright. I’ll just do it myself!

[Chrollo] Is that her..?

[Neon] They definitely don't want to take me to the auction, anyway.

[Chrollo] Now, how do I approach her?

[Neon] Daddy is always like this. Last time too.

[Chrollo] I’ll have to assess my method after all. Maybe “Miss, where are you going?!” Nah. That’s just like your average womanizer.

[Neon] I think it's called he Cemetery Building.

[Chrollo] Perhaps a bit more gentlemanly. “Young lady, which way are you heading?” Hmm. That was rather shady.

[Neon] Ah! But I ain’t bring any money. What should I do..?

[Chrollo] How about going all out with a Kansai dialect? ”Heyo! Won’t ya go for some tea with me, miss?” ...No way.

[Neon] I won’t be able to pay for a taxi. Hmm.

[Chrollo] That reminds me. In this book I read a long time ago, there was this dialogue that went, "Wait, have we met before?" *Sigh* I don’t think anyone would fall for that nowadays.

[Neon] I wonder how much it would cost to start with… Erm!

[Chrollo] In that anime Feitan watched the other day, there was this scene where they suddenly bumped into each other from a street corner. ...Neither of us are eating bread right now, though.

[Neon] Oh, well, it’ll all be fine if I just use Daddy’s name! Let’s go~! Tee-hee!

[Chrollo] Alright, this is it! It has the right amount of kindness and makes an impression, without being overly flirtatious or clichéd. The perfect idea, if I do say so myself. Now then, she is over the- Huh? Oh, shit! I lost her?! Darn it!

TL Notes & Commentary:

Neon suddenly spoke in a hint of Kansai dialect (just one syllable tbh the 〜や at the end of her speech), then Chrollo decided to try it out.

The anime part is referencing those cliché scenes where the characters bump each other with toast in their mouth.

debating submitting The Phantom Troupe for the found family tournament. I mean they did brutally murder kurapika's entire clan but also consider a bunch of children exposed to horrid things in a world where no one cares about them form a group. they even show up to 'save' their shitty hometown meteor city in the chimera ant arc plus when chrollo is kidnapped and everyone's kinda flustered. we also see nobunaga being furious about his friend dying. there's also pakunoda's feelings about chrollo leading to her 'saving' him from kurapika but then sacrificing herself to provide information to the kumos about kurapika so they can avenge their friend. and she thinks about the beginning of the troupe. okay i'm not immune to them. i think they are kinda neat.
