Notes: this was a request that I got but I accidentally deleted it because I thought it would be saved as a draft and it didn’t so I wrote halfway and accidentally deleted it. If I remember correctly it was 🦇🩷 anon? Anyways I hope you find this post, I thank you for being my first requester and I apologise for writing this late. I would also like to mention that I don’t know who the fuck kairi is so I had to do some research, and I apologise if she’s ooc. And I’m gonna say I don’t know that much about wriothesley so it’s kinda short

Xiao

Well, I don’t know how the frikity frack how you managed to get this guy to give a fuck about you but let’s say you do. Well, he would be passive aggressive. Like example it rains, you are drenched because you forgot to bring an umbrella, so you call out his name. Xi- he’s there. You can practically hear him roll his eyes and sighing internally as he sees you drenched. He pulls you towards him as he mutters foolish mortal under his breath as he teleports you to wangshu inn with him. And with a bit of magic once you arrive there he throws a towel on your face and leaves. But hey he cares! When he discovers your dairy and doodles he scoffs as he asks you what was the purpose of it. You smile gently at him as you explain your purpose. But as someone who has lived so long, of course he doesn’t understand. He would act as if he doesn’t care, but expect to find your dairy missing because he’s gonna read everything💀. Onto another topic. Somehow…. He’s attracted to your liveliness. How energetic you are, and how even though you’re weaker at him, your eyes would be filled with determination to keep him safe as well. All in all, Xiao cherishes you deep inside.

Alhaitham

Alhaitham well….is probably worse than Xiao. In my opinion. But he’s much more true in showing his protective side, after all he sees you as a little sibling. Whenever danger arises, he would be those kind of guy to put a protective arm around you, shielding you from any harm. He admires your courage when he sees you wanting to fight, not wanting him to get hurt as well. But he probably dismisses it as stupidity instead. Now… onto him discovering your dairy and doodles

Alhaitham walks into your room, realizing you’re not there. He sits on your bed, waiting for you to come. He notices something in the corner of his eye. He turns his head slightly as he sees a book opened lying face down on the bed. He picks it up as he wonders “what do we have here” he reads it, to find out it was your dairy, and he couldn’t help but let out a soft chuckle when he saw your cute doodles. When you opened the door, your face flushed as you saw alhaitham reading your dairy. Looking at you, alhaitham places the book back down and says “pardon me, but the curiosity got the better of me”

Neuvillette

This man would probably be the one who shows the most protectiveness out of all. After losing two good friends, he intends to lose none more. He always brushes you aside when you want to fight along side him. Your beautiful, cheerful and energetic nature just brightens up his day. He sees you as a friend, a young child who shouldn’t see the dangers of the world yet. Someone he must protect. He’s never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you 😔. Now, where he discovers the dairy and doodles

I’m lazy so let’s say he found it by chance. He gently flips through the pages, smiling as he sees your cute doodles on your dairy. He reads through your everyday life. Warmth filled his heart as he decides, that’s he’s going to make your life much more interesting. As he sees you, he smiles warmly and says “ah, I have invaded your privacy, have I not? I would like to apologise.” He stands up, looking down on you (because we’re short :( ) “Shall we go out for a walk?”

Wriothesley

Well, he grew up in an orphanage, he’s good with kids. Meaning he’s good with you. He’d be that one really caring brother, but he can be such a tease sometimes. With both of your personalities, you guys would click and get along really well💀👍

Let’s just say y’all are talking in your room and he sees your dairy. “Oooo what do we have here?” He grins as he picks up the dairy. Your face turns to one of panic as you tried to take it away from him, only to have his strong arms push away your head gently as he reads it out “Today I blablablablabla” only to leave your faces flushed with embarrassment as he continued to read your dairy. His eyes widen as he chances upon a doodle of him. “Aww this is so cute” as he ruffles your hair. Your groan at him. “Can I have it back already?” He shuts the book with a satisfying thud as he stands up, the book still in his hands. “Nope! I’m gonna read it all!” He smirks at you before exiting the room.

An advice from me : Let go of the thing that no longer serves you. You'll not attract new changes if you stay sticked to old patterns. Pile 1 it's up to you what you want. If you think you won't succeed, you won't. It's not because you can't but your mindset. And also get more information about the things you want and what you want to do in life.

Hello pile 1 ! I feel like you guys are ignoring something or someone intentionally but that won't solve everything. You want to solve your problems you'll have to face them. No other person will come and help you with that. It's all up to yourself. And also if you're romanticizing obsessive and extremely possessive relationship. Stop that it's not cute or lovely it's toxic 💀 . But I can't change your mind as it's up to you what you want. Or if you're in a relationship like that please leave him/her. It's toxic for both your physical and mental health. Also after leaving this relationship you'll find someone better. And for some people here I feel like you're going to be in that kind of relationship but it won't last long. You should stop ignoring your health problems and it's not healthy to sleep for only 3-4 hours a day. Please change you sleep schedule to a healthier one . I'm getting that you'll get a lot of money unexpected money from someone. Or you'll start a business that'll blow up in no time and earn you alot.

An advice from me : for now listen to your intuition and gut feeling. If you feeling like this person or this thing is not good for you don't do it. And also be ready for something new.

my insanity accidentally uhm. enabled me to think of like a whole other 4 ocs so...

meet SD-R !! more below cut

i had to actly sit down and consider what i was making w this kid because that adds a whole other layer of freakin lore that i gotta plan so,,

i don't really like his design atm... so this is most likely NOT the final design, more of a trial?

anyway the main idea i had for him was that he's a project along with his two other squadmates created by the last surviving humans on earth to combat the absolute solver/cyn

another example of people creating things that they can't control !!!! i love it !!! anyway in order to combat AS, who is basically a god (or the devil, however you wanna see it), they thought that they should make their own god

SD-R is one of the first of the project, along with his squadmates SD-A and K

R is the leader of the squad, but he doesn't pilot (that's A's job) and K is kinda just there,, haven't had a proper purpose for them yet but might make them a priest disassembly drone playing on the whole cross usb thing idea i liked it

so basically humans facing extinction who didn't learn from past mistakes though HEY!!! what if we made a GOD DRONE or something like that because realistically speaking i don't think that's possible but seeing how far the AS got it may as well be tbh. anyway.

his voicebox doesn't work because of having a 'true voice' which affects humans so they disabled it,, the chains keep him down to earth in a sense

i think i'm trying to do too much making a god-ish drone thing 💀 please smack me

It's been a couple years since I read this post and I still love it~! The funny thing is, the person who wrote the headcanons isn't even from the T-community (and has likely never even heard of you guys), just a regular Ducktales fangirl. ALR- I don’t even know what to SAY because these headcanons r so accurate and adorable- so u made a couple of my own to piggyback on what she said :D!!!

I feel like Louie would most DEFINITELY be the first one out of the tickle fight- not just cause he’s the youngest but also bc he’s the most ticklish. It just makes sense. I do think he is capable of tickling ppl back (but he loves getting tickled- not that he would admit it ofc), so he just curls himself in a ball to try and protect himself.

Dewey is pretty good with holding his ground when it comes to tickle fights. Can actually admit he likes being tickled AND tickling people (he’s the textbook definition of a Switch). To teases, to taunts, this man is EVIL and takes a lot of pride in it, honestly.

And omigosh- I totally agree that Huey would accidentally hurt someone when being tickled. Definitely some punches to the face for sure- he would feel really bad abt it afterwards but he DOES warn his siblings before they tickle him. Over the years they’ve just learned how to block his punches and such.

Webby I’m actually not so sure of? Since she’s knew to this whole “friend” thing, I feel like she wouldn’t know what the HECK she’s doing 💀💀💀. But since the three triplets get in tickle fights often, I bet she would observe them from a far to see what makes them flustered and where they are most ticklish. Overtime, she is the one you would fear if she were to tickle you, honestly…

Arcee ➥

it took a while for her to warm up due to her loss of Tailgate and Cliffjumper but she eventually did as your relationship improved with time. (Through the help of your reassurance). Thankfully, it didn't take long, but she was protective over you when it came to you going to missions and all that. no matter how much you begged her, she would not let you go to missions as she fears that you would be taken away from her.

She would take you out for rides in her alt mode at night when there was nothing to do at the base or just for a little breather to get away from people. It was great as you both had a little fun. She would regularly take you out on dates. The dates would be small things like, taking you out to a fancy dinner or going to the mall. she would help do your hair if you were going out with her so you didn’t have to waste your energy on your hair,

Arcee might have a difficult time expressing her feelings so you might have to help her a little with managing her emotions. but the more you help her the more that she will learn and get better at it.

Airachnid ➥

when it comes to Airachnid, she is overprotective, more than Arcee. when she first met you, it was odd. She didn't want to kill you because she wanted to use you as bait for the Autobots as a bargaining chip but when they didn't she just had you and didn't know what to do with you.

she at first wanted to kill you right then and there but didn't in the end. when she started to date you is when she let her facade that she was crazy and let you see her more calm side as she understood that you could trust her and she could trust you.

she is mostly in her holoform so she can interact with you more and she doesn't do much but stay around the house with you. she is the most touch-starved con out there so she will be trying to get any type of attention from you as she can.

she does talk about when the adventures that she had going from planet to planet when you two are in bed trying to go to sleep but just can't.

any tips for people who want to start writing?

Wow, thank you for asking my opinion. I'm definitely not a knowledgeable writer and I write purely for hobby purposes. I don't want to give wrong advice because I'm also trying to improve myself but I can give you some personal advice. I don't know how right or wrong they are.

Reading is important as you know. After you start writing, there is a possibility that you will take a break from reading and see yourself as inadequate. You may start to constantly compare yourself to writers you once read and feel like a failure. Or you may fear that if you read them, your own ideas will be affected, that you will accidentally cheat. Keep reading, this is a very wrong thought. The more you read, the richer and better you will be. Don't stop reading. These are very normal stuations. To get rid of these bad thoughts, keep in mind that your writings are unique and yours is very successful among many successful ones. Your fiction and your way of writing is unique to you. You're giving the world a brand new and unique fiction, and you're an essential resource for readers. It'll be very difficult for you to write if your motivation drops, so I wanted to warn you.

Writing is important. Omg sherlock, but challenging yourself is different, believe me. Give yourself 30m or 1h and say "start and finish something". You know you have limited time and your brain is flying around. I use this to get rid of the writer's block. If you need to publish a fiction, say "You have 3 hours, quick!" and let your mind go. Of course, you don't have to finish it in 3 hours, and a good job takes effort and lots of time. Patience is the key. Just putting the brain on alert works, in my opinion.

Try to write your daydreams, don't try to create a fic from scratch. Better write a script that already exists for now. When you start, you'll probably say "I can't write, my dream is so perfect and detailed. How am I supposed to put it down?" and welcome "That's it, I'm not a good writer".

Don't think as a whole, think as part to part. You probably have too much to tell in small details in your daydreams. Putting them down will probably seem impossible at first. I told you that reading is very important, the more you read, the easier it'll be to write important descriptions that are difficult for you. Write and read. You may write badly the first time, but you can't improve without writing.

If there's one thing I've learned, it's that a good and flowing story is connected. Every character, every conversation, and every situation should fuel the story. No unnecessary talk, character and detail. Like when talking to someone, don't just chit chat, make them give some important opinions/info that you didn't think/know. Or something else. Even if you wrote 7 paragraph, if you feel like they're actually unnecessary, don't hesitate to delete. Don't worry, you'll write better. And not too much dialogue. Dialogues are great, but I believe you can write nice details that support them, push yourself. I've been writing on Tumblr for over a year and I see my progress. When I look at my old works, I can see my mistakes. What I'm writing right now isn't perfect, but I think it's better than before.

Don't rush anything.

Rushing is the real problem. You want to write and finish quickly and you don't give your story the time it needs. Let's say you cut your dream into 10 parts. Note on your phone, i think detailed notes are good. Stay on each part patiently. Of course, avoid unnecessary details. Make sure you serve the story to keep it fluent. You know these classic Wattpad stories, right? I also wrote those fics years ago so 💀 Waking up with the alarm and making extremely boring and unnecessary convo with mom and bff, going to the bad boy's school... You always skip so many parts in these kind of stories.

And please don't try to be perfect. I'm going crazy when I write but don't be like me. You may feel like something's missing, you may think it's disconnected, but in fact, when an outside eye reads it, they don't see the flaws you see.

Write because you want, not because you have to. This is your hobby and you want to have a good time. Know how to say no, you don't owe anyone anything. Don't be afraid to draw your boundaries.

If you notice that I didn't do what I suggested, I'm sorry. Like I said, I'm an amateur writer. But I believe I'm better now. I hope my advice is helpful and I hope there is nothing I missed or forgot. There are very useful videos, I recommend you to watch.

uhhhh well i started this acc because my previous one was hpl0v3r where i wrote abt regulus black but then i accidentally deleted it and so i made a new one after having like a mental breakdown…and this is the acc! it’s all mike wheeler bc i love him, mostly finn wolfhard 😉😉

for tips i would just say start writing! just write and post! if you get any cute ideas just jot them down and i always get inspiration from the songs i listen to so that’s a way to get out of writers block

also i tried my hardest to make my acc look cute so ppl will be interested 💀💀 and just be friendly and kind and PAITIENT

21. Have you ever deleted an entire scene after spending hours laboring over it? If so, why?

Oh yes. So many times. Usually it’s because I realized it didn’t fit the tone of the rest of the fic, or one time even bc I accidentally wrote a whole paragraph in the wrong POV 💀💀 or ive inadvertently completely contradicted my own established plot

i’m honestly considering throwing my phone and myself out the window…

i had just spent over 30 minutes writing all my thoughts on part 9.3 of hie and i wrote soooooo much and guess what i did…

my dumbass literally deleted it by closing the app out and swiping up while i was going in between my notes app and tumblr because i had so much to say that i had to write my thoughts in there 😭

i’m so done rn. my heart sunk when i did that because i didn’t realize that i did till a few seconds later because i was frozen. i did not wanna believe i did that.

i was almost done writing too. and since i wrote so much, i can’t even rewrite it. i forgot most of what i said now. 😭

i’m just gonna start writing in my notes now and then just copy and paste onto here. i’m not risking this happening again because this has also happened so many times before too 🥲

i have so much to say so i’m gonna keep it short and simple. all i’m gonna say is that 9.3 was so amazing. so much happened. some scenes were so cute. especially when they were all having dinner with each other. they were so happy. i loved how jk and yoongi were joking around with each other. the tension between jk and oc. got me blushing. “would you two kiss and get it over with already” 👀 but i will not overlook how he called taehyung her baby daddy and saying that oc wanted to be in sora’s place 🤨 the audacity. speaking of taehyung—why did mans think he could just call oc and not expect her to bring to the fact that he’s been ignoring her when he asked why she didn’t go say hi to him 😭? and sora cheating…not surprised. but oc and jungkook bickering at night got me smiling so hard for no reason tho. the eye contact…holding hands…foreheads touching…goosebumps…heart beating so fast. “what’s this feeling?”. and then both just hugging and admiring their son together is so 💔 my heart. junho was so cute too. so many cute scenes with him. he’s so precious.

but what i’m thinking about the most is the “you’re remembering who he was, and he seems to be too” i wish i was good with words and explaining my thoughts so i could talk about this 😭

but part 9.3 was probably my favorite part so far. it was so funny too. the scenes between yoongi and oc 💀 lmfao yoongi drank oc’s breast milk? yuri closing oc’s mouth and saying oc was drooling over jungkook. i cannot. and yoongi saying “i would’ve been on my knees if that happened to me” i was dying. it’s even more funny imagining it.

i’m still crying about me deleting all that…

Gods of Jade and Shadow by Silvia Moreno-Garcia - Review

I’m a little bit annoyed writing this review (no fault of the book) just because I had already gotten halfway through and tumblr deleted the entire thing 😭 so I’m now starting all over. That’s why it took so long for me to update again, because the moment I saw it was gone all my motivation left my body like water evaporates in a desert 💀 but I’m back, because I feel like this book is too good to not talk about - imagine the Jazz Age meets indigenous Mexican mythology meets right person wrong time!!

I’ll start off by saying this is the first book I’ve consciously annotated, since I found so many amazing lines and parts that made my heart flutter 🦋 I’m also going to talk about representation in this review (like I do in all of them) but this is coming from an outside perspective: this is not my culture or language, I am just sharing what I’ve noticed. I’ll be sharing some of my personal favorite quotes from this book as we go (warnings for spoilers will be posted beforehand!)

The Summary:

TL;DR A young woman and a Mayan death god embark on a life-changing journey in this one-of-a-kind fairy tale inspired by Mexican folklore.

I found this book at Politics and Prose bookstore (amazing chain) and fell in love - it had already been on my TBR, but just look at that cover! Seeing my kind of nose represented on a cover made me really happy! (Representation matters🥰🥰)

I was interested in checking out some Mexican mythology and I love when magic and the supernatural can combine with historical settings - it always makes the story super interesting. The story mainly occurs in Mexico but also crosses the border into the US eventually! I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a sequel🍀

There is so so much I loved about this book but I’ll try to keep it short. First off, on representation, Casiopea (main character) is a dark skinned Latina, with indigenous ancestry from her father. She grew up learning about constellations from him, and more about her culture - like the stories about the Hero Twins and the gods of the Mayan underworld.

The gods are also dark skinned, and extremely handsome (this alone made me so happy, because darker skinned POC rarely get described as handsome in a divine way) and there is a lot of positive representation in that area. Casiopea struggles with the colorism she faces from the rest of her family and as a result doesn’t consider herself very beautiful (even though she is). Throughout the book Casiopea begins to learn who she is away from her family & starts to love herself more 💗

What I liked:

Instead of the usual paragraphs I’ll show you some quotes I loved - because for me what made this book great was the prose and there’s no way to talk about that except to show you 😊 also this section ALSO deleted right after I finished it and I have no energy left.

One of my favorite parts of the book was the relationship between Hun-Kamé(the Mayan death god) and Casiopea. It’s sort of like someone who has experienced a lot of the world and become jaded and numb is connected to someone who is experiencing the world for the first time. She helps him see it through new eyes and softens him, and he helps her find her footing in the fast paced world so different from her home.

I feel like Casiopea was really independent, which is why some people call it a “feminist” novel, but I think above all it’s a coming of age novel. There is an ongoing contrast between Casiopea’s youth and the ageless god’s view of the world. Her decisions are influenced by her youth and mortality, two things that Hun-Kamé struggles to understand.

Why I couldn’t give it a 10:

I can’t put my finger on anything specific, but I had a hard time getting drawn into the magic of the world. I also wished I could have seen more on Casiopea’s development as a character, since women in mythology tend to serve merely sacrificial or symbolic roles, and the story stresses that her being a woman plays a large role in her centrality to the story. Also, she didn’t seem to have a motivation other than “freedom”, so I’m hoping to see how her character develops with that freedom in a sequel. Nevertheless, I really want to read the sequel!(Hoping there is one)

I sincerely recommend to fans of:

• Kamisama Kiss (anime)

• Inuyasha (anime)

• Goblin/ Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (kdrama)

The book was inspired by the story of Popol Vuh, a Mayan story about the creation and the Hero Twins who journey to Xibalba, the underworld. I really enjoyed learning more about Mexican and Mayan culture and language, and this has inspired me to check out another book by the author, Mexican Gothic!

💗💗 this definitely won’t be the last book by Silvia Moreno-Garcia that I pick up!
