when will we as a society excommunicate Fall Out Boy and P*nic! At The D*sco from the Holy Emo Trinity?
Fall Out Boy no longer makes emo rock music, which is fine, they're allowed to change their style, but it's not emo. Plus, Pete Wentz dated a 15 year old when he was 23, which is... icky.
Panic is just shit. Bredon Urie is shit. I'm not going to explain.
My Chem has stayed consistent, and as far as I know, they haven't been apart of anything cancelable.
I think we should replace P*nic and FOB with different emo bands from that era, and here are my ideas. I picked these bands off of different criteria -
How impactful they were to the emo movement
Are they punk rock? (aka are they not a scumbag?)
How memorable/screamable is their music?
Is their latest music still consistent with their old music? (are they still emo/rock)
What do the gays think of them?
Anyways, here are my votes to be added to the Holy Emo Trinity
Green Day - No one is more emo punk rock than Billie Joe Armstrong. Mans dropped kicked a guy in his concert for touching a girl and is bisexual. The gays love them, a lot of their music is memorable, even outside of the emo world, and their music is very much still the same
Paramore - While Paramore's discography is limited, they were a huge part of the emo community, especially in their early days. Some of their music even went mainstream, and was relatable. Their music is still memorable, and I've yet to meet someone who doesn't like Paramore
Evanescence - An iconic emo band. Bring Me To Life was screamable then, and it's screamable now. Their music hasn't changed at all, and Amy Lee is still rocking the emo look. While not all their music is memorable, I think Ecanescence still deserves to be apart of the reformed Emo Trinity
Avril Lavigne - While she isn't a band per say, Avril carried the emo punk girl movement, at least in my opinion. She's still touring and making the same music, and she still looks like she did back when she was at her "peak". Her music is still screamable and memorable. I don't know anyone who doesn't know who Avril Lavigne is.
Gorillaz - While Gorillaz isn't exactly rock, I know a lot of people listened to them back in their emo phase, so I think they deserve a spot on the list. Their music is iconic, and I especially know queer people go ape shit (pun intended) over the Gorillaz.
Personally, I think the Emo Trinity should change to My Chemical Romance, Green Day, and Paramore. What do you think?

Favorite Albums That I Listened to in 2023
I'm not a huge fan of listening to albums, so I'm actually surprised as to how many I listened to in the past year: though that's mostly because a friend and I started giving each other album recommendations.
Cracker Island Gorillaz, 2023
Tumblr media
I was excitedly anticipating this one, though I'm a pretty moderate Gorillaz fan. They had some great collaborations on this one, such as Bootie Brown, Beck, Bad Bunny, and Stevie Nicks! It's not my favorite Gorillaz album but still a pretty solid one.
Favorite songs: "Cracker Island", "Oil", "Skinny Ape", and "Silent Running".
Bella Donna Stevie Nicks, 1981
Tumblr media
In contrast to Cracker Island and Gorillaz, I am a huge Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac fan. Bella Donna is Nicks' debut solo album, and I absolutely love how powerful it feels, and the Nicks era that it ushered in.
Favorite songs: "Edge of Seventeen", "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around"
The Kick Inside Kate Bush, 1978
Tumblr media
Kate Bush is an artist that I love dearly, though I usually prefer to cherry-pick her songs rather than listening to entire albums of hers, usually because each individual song on her albums vary greatly by tone. I would say that The Kick Inside is one of the few that I do enjoy listening to from beginning-to-end. Some of my absolute favorites of Kate Bush come from this album, and overall, it does have a pretty consistent tone. It's airid, ethereal, comedic and whimsical.
Favorite songs: "The Saxophone Song", "Wuthering Heights" (!!!!!!) "Oh to Be in Love", "L'Amour Looks Something Like You" (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
The Queen is Dead The Smiths, 1986
Tumblr media
Very appropriate listen for 2023.
I don't know much about The Smiths lore or what it says about me that I like them or whatever, I just enjoy listening to their music :).
Favorite songs: "I Know It's Over", "Cemetery Gates", "Bigmouth Strikes Again"
Melt My Eyez See Your Future Denzel Curry, 2022
Tumblr media
This was one that was recommended to me by a friend based on his personal taste, which is pretty different from mine. I absolutely adore this album's sound. It has a sort of vulnerable charm to it.
Favorite songs: "Walkin", "Mental"
Are You Experienced Jimi Hendrix, 1967
Tumblr media
I only started listening to Jimi Hendrix in 2023, and boy have I been missing out. His voice!!! His sound!!!! His guitar!!!!! Him!!!! Absolutely spectacular. This is Exhibit A in music that changes you. I feel like that scene in Elvis where all the girls lose their minds when I listen to this album.
Favorite songs: "Purple Haze", "Manic Depression", "Hey Joe", "Love Or Confusion", "The Wind Cries Mary" (!!!!!!) "Are You Experienced", "Highway Chile"
Hozier Hozier, 2014
Tumblr media
I listen to this one and I think, "Yep, this is a Hozier album." Idk how else to describe it. Quintessential Hozier: ethereal, folksy, bee-boppy.
Favorite songs: "Jackie And Wilson", "From Eden", "Someone New", "Sedated", "Work Song" (!!!!!!!!)
Wasteland, Baby! Hozier, 2019
Tumblr media
Again, quintessential Hozier, yet a bit more refined, more dark and romantic. Hozier's artistry is aging like wine. Transcendent.
Favorite songs: "Almost (Sweet Music)" (!!!!!) "Movement" (!!!!!) "Would That I", "Sunlight"
Never for Ever Kate Bush, 1980
Tumblr media
Kate Bush at her finest. She is my everything. Similar to The Kick Inside, this one is whimsical and comedic, yet it differs with a much heavier weight and increased closeness.
Favorite songs: "Babooshka", "The Wedding List", "Army Dreamers" (!!!!!)
The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars David Bowie, 1972
Tumblr media
I want this buried with me. My absolute favorite of Bowie's albums. It has a transcendent proximity, a sentence which makes no sense. It feels close and far away at the same time (what I am pretentiously describing is called an echo).
Favorite songs: "Five Years", "Soul Love", "Starman", "It Ain't Easy", "Lady Stardust", "Star", "Ziggy Stardust", "Suffragette City", "Rock 'n' Roll Suicide"
Superclean, Vol. II The Marías, 2018
Tumblr media
Another one of my friend's recommendations. This one puts me in a good mood and clears my mind. :)
Favorite songs: All of them.
Unreal Unearth Hozier, 2023
Tumblr media
RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Favorite songs: "De Selby (Part 2)", "First Time", "Francesca", "I, Carrion (Icarian)", "Who We Are" (RASDHFKASDJGSDKGFGNASJDDSJGAFVLDFEJRGAOLFNVASGNWRG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), "Abstract (Psychopomp)", "Unknown / Nth", "First Light"
Thee Sacred Souls Thee Sacred Souls, 2022
Tumblr media
The Greta Van Fleet of soul, taking it back to one of the most recognizable sounds from the genre. They're just so sweet.
Favorite songs: "Lady Love", "Easier Said Than Done", "Future Lover" (I have a t-shirt of theirs with this song's lyrics)
Also, it's not on this album but "Running Away" is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC AND I CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF IT.
Mozart: Requiem Mozart, Karitta Mattila, Sara Minguardo, Michael Schade, Bryn Terfel, Berliner Philharmoniker
Tumblr media
It has the drama. It'll make you feel like you're in a Donna Tartt novel. I have a bit of a hard time sitting through classical albums but this one is endlessly captivating.
Favorite songs: "Requiem, K. 626: I. Introitus. Requiem aeternam", "Requiem, K. 626: III. Sequentia: f. Lacrimosa", "Requiem, K. 626: V. Sanctus"
Final Thoughts: Quite a wide range of genres this year, though I must say I enjoyed stepping out of my usual listening tendencies and exploring some genres I was heavily deprived in.

My big ol band list of a couple bands I adore that everyone should at least try listening to
• System of a down- Nu Metal with a lot of Armenian influence, even if you don't really like metal, Serj Tankian's voice is still worth the listen
• Soundgarden- Grunge band that was from the Sub Pop era. Chris Cornell is also a wonderful singer. I love how sludgy and apocalyptic this band sounds
• Gorillaz (specifically their first 4-5 albums) Gorillaz is usually described as not having a genre, which is true, honestly each song has it's own feel and they have been my main source of inspiration for years. I also adore their art style
• Hole (only their Live Through This Album Though) this band would be so good if not for the fact their lead singer is Courtney Love. Honestly though if you just want some good grunge, Hole is a great band. This is one of those separate art from artist situations
• Feed me Jack- Feed me Jack is the definition of math rock to me, I'm so sad the band broke up because they have such good lyrics mixed with impressive and clean guitar
• Florence and the Machine- what can I say about one of the best singers I've ever heard? Florence has phenomenal range and not only vocal style but musical style as well. I can only really describe her sound as 'goddess music'
• Lemon Demon- I just think he's cool, and his instrumentals are stupidly well done
• Pink Floyd- I know they're pretty popular but honestly there's still one of my favorites, if you hunger for some classic prog rock, this is a tasty meal
• Sepultura- Brazilian death metal band with amazing percussion. I'm not much of a death metal fan myself but I can't help but like these guys
• Destroy Boys- Just a really fun punk rock group
• Great Van Fleet- they make my 70's rock brain really happy, and Josh Kitzka has an amazing voice
• Red hot chili peppers- they have a really unique style, a mix of funk and chill rock, they are so fun to listen to

23, 20,1 and 8 for the music asks!!!
thank you for the ask julian!! /gen
23. what's a song that makes you feel like a hot badass?
"cat people (putting out fire)" by david bowie!!
20. SHOW ME A PICTURE OF ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE ARTISTS. RIGHT NOW. I NEED TO SEE THEM.
instead of being painfully predictable and putting a photo of damon albarn, here's kurt cobain with a cat :]

1. what is your favorite song. right now. tell me.
oh man. it's hard to pick but one i've been really enjoying lately is "all i think about now" by the pixies
8. tell me about your favorite band. go on infodump for me.
oh boy get ready for me to infodump about gorillaz
i just love everything about them tbh, i loveee the music and the art and everything. i think my favourite album is probably demon days, not just by them but in general and when i found a copy of it on vinyl i literally cried in the middle of the store lmao you would think i'd actually seen damon and jamie there in the flesh i could not calm down. but it's in my possession now and i love it. only problem is it doesn't have the fade between dirty harry and feel good inc and it skips a bit during dare but it's perfect otherwise and every time i hear the fade between don't get lost in heaven and demon days i cry even though i've heard that fade several times before on my cd of the album it just. hits different on vinyl idk. i think phase two also has my favourite art style of all the phases?? idk though i loveeee the plastic beach artstyle and they all look so cool in their outfits (i even have that plastic beach era poster that i'm pretty sure everyone has lmaoo) and i love cyborg noodle!! i wish what happened to her was more clear and not changed like a million times, i also would've thought it would be cool to see her and noodle become friends. THEY COULD'VE BEENN SISYERS :( but no :(( also plastic beach always makes me sad i really really wish damon and jamie had gotten to do everything they'd wanted to with that album and it makes me so sad thinking about all the lost music and stuff. especially crashing down cuz that snippet from the russel ident was so beautiful :( also why did they delete all the plastic beach teasers from their official youtube channel??? like all the close-ups of the gorgeous model they built pretty much just for the album cover with the little snippets of music we never got (i'm quite fond of the one known as mr. light, which based on what we hear in the snippet i think it was reworked into damon albarn's daft wader, which is a gorgeous song from a gorgeous album) and the little character idents too. my favourite one is probably the cyborg noodle one, i love the creepy music and how we get to see what all the wires and stuff look like, it's just super cool. the russel one makes me really sad though :( man russel has been through so much. he deserves better man
ok this turned out even longer then i thought it would lmao i'm adding a cut before this rambling session 😭😭
thank u again for the asks btw!! /gen

oops - a prelude
so i literally made this blog(?) three months and ten days ago and then never touched it again, in classic me fashion. Isn't that hilarious?? in the time since then, I got laid off from my job (exactly two months ago!!), I saw paramore in concert, flew to a city that is 3 hours away by car to dog-sit (the flight was 30 minutes - yes i am in my taylor swift era), and went to a wedding. these are probably the most life-altering things that happened to me in those three months. that's literally a whole fiscal quarter, I think. but this blog (again - is that what this is???) isn't about that. it's about me listening to music.
The only things I have turned on for my ear holes to listen to since February (how tf do you spell that??) are paramore and gorillaz (and the new fall out boy album but not as extensively). i do not think i am emotionally ready to capture the perfection that is paramore's discography in my dum dum words, so i want to start with gorillaz (since their music is kind of what kickstarted this whole writing experiment tbh).
when I started this thing, I think I had only listened to 3 of their seven albums. That number is now up to five. My initial plan was to go song-by-song on their self titled album, but I'm not going to do that anymore (like I will eventually, but that's not what I want to start with). I have now decided that I will start with what I'm currently listening to - the now now. That's such a funny name for an album (and is also why I didn't listen to it for a while LOL).
I want to tell you (yes, you - the person reading this) how I even started listening to gorillaz (also my brother and I have a joke where we call them "the gorillaz" but then we say it in funny voice so every time I type it, that's what I'm thinking of). I want to say I've always been aware of them (or at least their music, not necessarily their lore or concept). Clint Eastwood would come on one of the radio stations I would listen to in high school pretty often, and I had heard Feel Good Inc. at some point throughout the years. I absolutely saw people wearing the demon days shirts. While I enjoyed the music when we crossed paths, I never really dug any deeper. I do have a faint memory of checking out their music videos and being a bit put off by the animation (I think it was 2-D's eyes that creeped me out) and kind of put it on the back burner until last year (in hindsight, it was probably for the best that I didn't start listening until I was an adult because I would've been absolutely insufferable with it). also - the animation/art style has really grown on me. It fits with who the characters are, and I love how it's evolved since their conception.
The beginning is a little hazy, but I know it started with hearing Clint Eastwood again on the radio. It was as if the spirit of Del possessed me - after that, I had it on repeat on Spotify. I have this thing where I don't like to not know the words of songs (it might be fall out boy trauma, or maybe it's the lingering of perfectionism I like to say I've gotten over but totally haven't), and I listened to it over and over until I got most of the words down. I peeped over to their artist page, and did the same exact thing with Feel Good Inc. (it's quite honestly one of my favorite singles of all time and I have yet to get sick of it). I think I also listened to dirty harry a few times because of that one tiktok trend with the outfits (I hate how central tiktok is to this because I like to think I am not online as much as I am, but alas, here I am). This is the part where it gets hazy - Cracker Island (the song). I could not tell you how or when I first heard it (it was probably a youtube tiktok short), but when I did, I was absolutely obsessed. It was one of those rare moments where an artist captures so much of what you like on a single track. I wanted more, but I (stupidly) didn't seek it out.
Last year, Spotify wrapped did a silly goofy thing where your favorite/most listened to artists (that recorded a video) would popup and say "hey thanks for listening this year." Scrolling through mine made sense, until I saw a weird looking green man on my screen. Although I had only listened to like four songs, I listened enough to have gorillaz say thank you to me at the end of the year (and to promote their new album, of course). This is one of the few times where I feel like the word flabbergasted really describes my true emotion - first of all, had I really listened enough to make this green dude appear?? Second, who IS this green dude?? Third, WHY IS HE BRITISH??? If you're curious, this is the video in question. Knowing what I know now, this was honestly perfect marketing. It fits in SO well with what the band is and what their newest art is conveying. I showed this video to people and was like "what in the world IS this??" and then we laughed - we laughed into the new year.
And into the new year we went. Cracker Island came out sometime in February (that's kind of an iconic month for me now, huh?), and I could not tell you when I decided to listen to the whole thing. I don't remember if it was that month or in March, but boy am I glad I listened to it. Part of the appeal to me was it's name - why is this song and album called cracker island??? I had to figure that out (and whether or not I found out will be revealed in that review...).
After watching the two music videos for Cracker Island, I began to have questions. Who were these four people that composed this band? What's their story?? Why do they look like that?? Who is really making this music??? What in the world was happening in the Cracker Island and Silent Running music videos??? Who is this green guy and why did he kiss that old lady??? Luckily for me, this video popped up in my YouTube recommended and began to unravel some of the mystery. By the end of it, I was hooked. I wanted to know the history behind these four strangers. I wanted to know how all of this worked. And that's how I started listening to Gorillaz.
The first thing I had to figure out what everyone's name was - it took me a little bit to sort out the names and their instrumental roles (the green guy is called Murdoc??? and he was replaced by that guy from the Powerpuff Girls for an album??? what??? who is Paula Cracker??). I scoured wikipedia, read their brief character biographies, and had more questions than answers. What the hell is a phase??? Noodle shipped herself in a Fedex box?? why is there a 7 year gap between albums??? how did they make these albums???
tangent here - I used to play guitar hero as a kid (who didn't??) and on one of my favorite songs to play was song 2 by blur on bass. it took me an embarrassing amount of time to figure out that the singer of blur was the same dude from the gorillaz. like, I think I figured it out last year. what the heck. anyway it's one of my favorite fun facts.
In my research, I learned of the importance of an album called Plastic Beach. From YouTube comments to Wikipedia reviews, I deduced that it's their magnum opus. As a result, I decided I wanted to save that album for last. The listening order for the rest of them was a bit more variable. Here's what my listening order is/likely to be.
Demon Days (2005): after seeing it on so many shirts (that's a joke - it's because it was the album with feel good inc. and dirty harry), I figured I start off strong with this one. I 100% made the right choice
The Fall (2010): in my research i learned that this was a weird one, and I was too scared to start with anything else. I was bored at work (back when I still had a job lol) and put it on in the background. I still need more time with it, but it's still pretty solid. More to come.
Gorillaz (2001): This album is so fun - and it's also the only physical album I own. It was also the album I was jamming through when I decided to start this blog. I have notes written down for this one, so I'm looking forward to writing about her.
Humanz (2017): The album art on this one creeped me out (why does Murdoc look like john lennon) but the music is spectacular. I'm excited to write about this one.
The Now Now (2018): My current listen - I'll be writing about this one first!!
Song Machine (2020): One of two albums I have yet to listen to - is this even considered an album?? Like I know it is, but the song conglomeration is a little confusing to me, so I'm hoping I can figure out how to listen to it.
Plastic Beach (2010): I'm so afraid that this isn't going to live up to the hype I'm building up in my mind. But I'm also so looking forward to listening - rhinestone eyes is a provoking song that i could listen to forever and I'm anxiously anticipating listening to its relatives. I love a good concept album, and I think this is what that's supposed to be.
I'm leaving out some of the peripheral tracks (think the d-sides and laika come home) for the time being. Maybe they'll be the epilogue to this little project. I'm hoping to get this listening party done before the year is over - ideally before december. The majority of the past seven years, my top artist has been another british band that starts with a G, but this is the year they're ultimately dethroned (there was a year where a certain band that I will not name took top billing, but we're not going to talk about that because they're supposedly retired and I don't want to write about them).
I think this concludes our little prelude here - I wrote so much. It absolutely is not proofread, and i'm not starting everything out capitalized. it's not intentional or purposeful - I just didn't feel like hitting shift all the time. Until next time - I'll see you on The Now Now.

blur Q: curious how you rate the albums parklife and the self-titled, like where do they fall in your estimation, or what are your thoughts on them
i think to explain my feelings on parklife and the self titled i have to talk a bit about the others, sorry if this is long and more than you asked for. my ranking of blur albums is, Modern Life is Rubbish, i'm very attached to this era in general, i think it's where they found their sound and the songs are fantastic but they were still a bit raw and i love that. i think almost all of my favourite blur songs came from this one session from these days, bone bag, 1992, peach, resigned, oily water, and i love the entire album, colin zeal, starshaped and blue jeans are great favourites of mine. it just feels like a time where they were very much them without outside influence. 13 i discovered blur with the self titled but it was 13 that turned me into a proper fan, i like that it's much looser than their other albums, but you can still hear that it's them. i just love everything graham does here. and since this was when i fell in love with them i still hold so much affection for it - songs that make you time travel. you could also see here how much they could do, and where they could go, but unfortunately after their rupture we lost that train and i'm still a little bit bitter about it. The Great Escape here is where i think most people will disagree with me, and I understand because i used to not love it too, but as i grew older something there clicked, and i really like how extra it is, the melodies are great, one of my favourite things about blur is when damon and graham sing together, and there's a lot of it here, i just think it's a very fun album with great harmonies. the universal is a masterpiece, he thought of cars is one of my favourite blur songs, best days is so beautiful, and the rest of it is very chaotic but feels fun and fresh, and every time i hear it i notice something new. Parklife if you compare song to song, i'd say Parklife is the perfect Blur album (actually it would be perfect if jubilee wasn't there, but it's the almost perfect blur album). all the other songs are not just good, they are fantastic, starting with girls & boys, which is still a hit song at every party i've been in, it's a classic, a perfect portrait of the 90s, and i love it! but there is something static about it too, how perfect it feels, maybe it's why it lost a bit of charm for me. i still love it and think it's a very beautiful album, but i don't listen to it as much. my favourites are clover over dover, london loves and badhead. Blur the self titled album, here is also where i think i disagree with people's opinion on blur, i think this album has some of my favourite songs, but i only care about half of them: beetlebum, country sad, you're so great, death of a party, strange news from another star, and essex dogs. but i've never been able to care much about the rest of them. at this point i wish i'd never hear song 2 again, and the other songs are just fillers, mor, movin on, theme from retro and i'm just a killer for your love, not a fan of the proto gorillaz on your own either The Magic Whip i have so much love for this kid. the miracle baby. it's different, like growing older and becoming friends with your parents. but i love it a lot and i think it's very underrated. so many beautiful songs here, my favourites are, new world towers, thought i was a spacemen, my terracotta heart, pyongyang and mirrorball. Leisure is a decent debut, one third of it is marvelous, so fun and creative, the other third is okay and fun, the rest is very annoying. Think Tank is not really a Blur album for me, it doesn't sound like Blur because graham isn't there. there's half an album of good songs there that i'm very fond of but to me that's not blur. the best song is the one he is in, battery in your leg. it's so hard to describe it so i won't attempt to, i'll just say, what was there is what was missing from the rest of the album. (also i hate banksy and that album art is hideous).

Doll to-do list for 2022
Celestina's friends and others
- Get my Lucy Phillips doll, a CYO, this one is top priority as I'm getting close to having enough money to get her.
- Get Kailey Green doll, another CYO.
- Get Jason Gomez, my first AG boy doll. My original plan was to get the Sonali mold boy (who I've mistakenly thought was a Josefina boy for some reason for the longest time), but if he is completely discontinued, I'll make do by customizing a Josefina with a boy wig and clothes.
- Finish the Meet Celestina story I've been working on, possibly work on Celestina Learns a Lesson.
- Make some basic outfits for Lucy, casual outfits, coat, pajamas, tees and jeans, ect. She has a goth/punk aesthetic, so her outfits are more specific than my other dolls.
- Possibly get Celestina's ears pierced.
- Once I get the 3 previous dolls together with Celestina and Cy, I'll have all the band members of Starshine, and I'll do some band stuff with them, like pics of performances, or interviews or something.
Other stuff I want to do outside my Celestina/Gorillaz universe thingy.
- Send my first AG doll Kami to the doll hospital, I've had her since 2005, and she's long overdue and some stuff is way too advanced for home repairs.
- Find someone to help me restring Ellie's legs (she had a wig change, so she can't be sent to the doll hospital).
- Make outfits for Ellie.
- Make a CYO of my 90's era OC, Priya Romano
- Make a CYO of my Rick and Morty OC Morti Smith (she's basically a girl Morty, for those of you who don't know, since in the show there are like a million different Ricks and Mortys because of multiverse things, fans R&M OC's are just, different Ricks and Mortys, yes I'm aware this is weird. I made a CYO of my OC in the maker as a joke, and I ended up loving the design, so now I wanna get her and create cute yellow outfits for her lol, anyways).
- I want to go to the American Girl store in Columbus, and I might be able to do that around my birthday in the summer.
- if possible, get my favorite Historical girls, secondhand market or otherwise (Molly, Samantha, Addy, and Courtney), maybe the WBU girls and Corrine.
I'm not sure how many of these I'll actually accomplish as I've been having trouble getting a job and money, but for now, I'll find some way to get the first 3 dolls I want, and get Kami to the doll hospital, if I can do those this year, I will be happy. Its kinda saying something I don't really have much of a collection, as I have only 3 AGs and a customized Disney ILY 4ever.

thank u for making me go insane abt pokemon this is 4 u shawty......
i imagine scc have a similar music taste but they individually have a few differing opinions (for example but not limited to: sweet could take an interest in more psychedelic genres. he likes Strawberry Guy methinks. cap'n is more of a gorillaz kinda guy but he likes the later albums more than the earlier albums. k_k likes goofy ass music dont hand him the aux cord)
U CAN CHANGE THESE OFC but i think they infodump to each other alot abt the newest song they found or good artists in each genres
neil my boy you come in clutch for me. autism to autism communication.
OK *cracks knuckles* i think while they all have a love for music they all have VERY different tastes. i always thought sweet would have the more intense/"rebellious" taste of the three, usually liking standard rock but also taking a liking to breakcore and hard EDM (they're probably the most at risk of getting found by queen for music rebellion acts their stuff is LOUD) ("the louder it is, the stronger the SOUL resonation is!") ("YOURE GOING TO BLOW YOUR SPEAKERS OUT TURN IT DOWN") if it was a late night staying up working on commissions/tracks/being sleepless in general (which is often) the others will make sure they keep the louder songs to a minimum since on multiple occasions, when sleep deprived their voice speaker tends to. die on them if overclocked and they not only can't play tunes but they also can't SPEAK
capn i think has a bit more of an eye for just the groove of the song more than the volume, HUGE jazz fan but also slower rock songs + the always appreciated EDM the three all enjoy together (DEFINITELY not as loud as what sweet puts on but they all enjoy EDM together) (also current day/later gorillaz is exactly what i'm looking for here you are so smart) (they usually say "if the beat's good, i can bear it" whenever asked why they like what they like) they claim to have their own tastes but often can be found peeking in on the other's playlists and getting ideas (they SWEAR it's not stealing, just inspiration!)
now K_K. THIS is where you find oliver buckland/metaroom type beats. music to space out to basically. as said before she also enjoys EDM with the other 3 but god be damned you put on his playlist and microchip comes on (capn voice) youre keeping that fucking aux cord IN and we are LISTENING to their tunes. they also take a certain liking to some hyperpop, they got sweet hooked on it as well (for the sheer volume of it sometimes) and god be damned if they get capn into it ("this is just. various silly chiptune sounds k_k are you serious") ("100%~!") k_k is the type of person that was an oliver buckland fan BEFORE it got popular off of ENA, they were listening to that man before the backroom labyrinth/hourglass meadow era (but those r still some of their favs ESP backroom labyrinth!)
obv they shares their tastes with eachother, capn usually poking fun at sweet's usual type of stuff ("oh wouldya look at that! another track that'll blow my sound receptors out! nice!"), sweet making snarky remarks back ("capn, where's the fun in your music if you can't violently headbang to it?"), and neither DARE say shit about k_k's tastes, not because they pity/baby him, but bc k_k can dig so deep into their music tastes corresponding to their personalities for dissing their bangers they don't dare provoke them (sweet got the treatment once, i think they sat silently on the storage room floor for an hour internalizing it, capn doesn't even know what k_k even said, no feelings were hurt between the two pals either way they were fine when sweet finally snapped out of , but he fears what they even said to sweet) obv their tastes blend into what they make, but somehow all their strongly contrasting tastes all come together in the end to make their band's tracks really enjoyable and unique!
