لَوْ علِمْتَ أنَّ لَذَّة قهرِ الهَوى أطْيَبُ مِنْ نَيْلِهِ لَما غلبَكَ.
If you knew that the pleasure of conquering temptation is sweeter than its fulfillment, it would not overcome you.

“When the race horse knows that it is nearing the end of the track it exerts all of its effort to win the race. Do not allow the race horse to be cleverer than you. Indeed, deeds are judged by their conclusions. Thus, if you didn’t do well with welcoming Ramadān then perhaps you will do better bidding it farewell.” Ibn al-Jawzī (raḥimahullāh)

"You are the most precious creature to Allah, so be content with what Allah has decreed for you, because he who loves never questions or accuses the one he loves. The Grace of Allah upon you in all that He has created for your sake is as clear as daylight; so how could you imagine He would neglect when you are at the root of it all?"

"Woe to you, though the pleasures of this worldly life are sweet and tempting, know that the questioning over it will be strict. The time at which a woman conceives is one of playfulness, but the actual hardship that awaits her is at the time of her delivery."

"The excellence of a thing is known by its fruits, and from among the fruits of the mind is knowing the Creator, may He be exalted."

📍 *REMINDER OF THE DAY*
_Fir’oun with all his armies, Qaarun with all his treasures & Haamaan with all his skills couldn’t defeat (the shepherd) Musa (alayhis salam) with his stick. Such is one’s power when ALLĀH is with them! No matter how weak you are, your strength is your connection with ALLĀH!_

Here's Ibn al-Jawzi recording a solar eclipse in Baghdad on June 20, 1061 CE: "On Wednesday, when two nights remained to the completion of Jumada al-Aula, two hours after sunrise, the Sun was totally eclipsed. There was darkness and the birds fell while flying. The astrologers claimed that one-sixth of the Sun should have remained [uneclipsed] but nothing of it did so. The Sun reappeared after four hours and a fraction [of an hour]. The eclipse was not in the whole of the Sun [i.e. it was not total] in places other than Baghdad and its provinces." :: [Robert Scott Horton]

“Earth’s Moon is about 1/ 400th the diameter of the Sun, but it is also 1/ 400th as far from us, making the Sun and the Moon the same size on the sky—a coincidence not shared by any other planet–moon combination in the solar system, allowing for uniquely photogenic total solar eclipses.” ― Neil deGrasse Tyson, Astrophysics for People in a Hurry

صلوا على نبيكم يا امة محمد
"Know that no Muslim servant sends abundant salawat on Muhammad as, except that Allah illuminates his heart, forgives his sins, puts his heart at ease, and makes his matters easy. Send abundant salawāt, so that Allah will make you from the followers of his path, make you act upon his sunnah; and make him at our companion in Paradise."
