TMNT FANDOM: WHY DO WE HAVE SO MANY SHIP NAMES AND WHY DON'T WE USE THEM PROPERLY.

like we should all learn from the miraculous fandom, their shipnames are UNDERSTANDABLE and PRACTICAL.

We have: leosagi, katanashipping, leoichi, leochi, sliderbunny, yuinardo LIKE DAMN.

My suggestion: every version of the ship gets its own ship name.

2012 leo x yuichi - yuinardo. Easy

Rise!Miyamoto usagi x Rise! Leo - sliderbunny. We shouldn't use leosagi guys we had this intervention already and it's not working.

Miyamoto x 2003 leo - LEOSAGI AND KATANASHIPPING. THEY ARE ONLY FOR THAT SHIP LIKE PLZ WERE ANNOYING THE OGS.

rajbow (raj x bowie): o b v!! can't have one of these asks without these two, tbvh, I adore them and from what I've heard abt them, I love how Fresh handled them--the fact that the only canon gay ship is also on the list of the healthiest ships is wild and I freaking love it!! they're so adorable together too--and let me say I noticed the connection between Bowie getting crowns and Raj's name meaning 'king' immediately and it made me love them more! I can't wait to see more of them next season, and I hope Fresh doesn't fuck around with them like they've done with other ships 🤞

emwayne (emma x wayne): while I understand where the zemma shippers are coming from, I'm gonna have to say that I can see them as a pairing, but mostly I see zee and emma as friends than lovers. moving onto wayne and emma, I've seen a couple of rlly cute fanart abt them that roped me into rooting for them; also, I saw this tumblr post that talked abt wayne helping emma see that her and chase aren't right for each other bc of the break between bowie and emma's friendship; I thought it'd be cute that emma realizes what an actual relationship is supposed to be like based on the way wayne treats her and the two grow closer as he helps her come into herself more. overall, really cute pairing!!

nichaxel (nichelle x axel): MY LESBIAN BABES!!! ever since I saw that one scene where they interacted, I was HOOKED, I'm SO SO on board with these two getting together, ugh, I can just imagine how badass and amazing they'd be!! axel teaching nichelle to fight so she can make her comeback next season??? nichelle helping axel tune more into her emotions and her heart??? sign me tf up!! they'd be unstoppable, legit, I want this so bad! seriously, I hope Fresh does smth with them next season and if they don't get them together, I hope they at least let them be friends, goddammit!

damien x priya (idk their shipname 😭): from the screenshots I've seen of the two, I think they're cute together!! wonder if next season will involve them more 🤔 it's funny too bc it's the guy who doesn't have a clue abt total drama with the girl who knows everything abt it; like imagine priya getting damien to watch the prev seasons and damien returning next season like a fricking icon with his newfound knowledge. honestly I'm on the fence abt these two; I like them as a pairing, but also I think they're great as good friends too! (also I've seen a lot of ppl talking abt millie x priya; I personally don't have an opinion abt that, I haven't gotten that far to have one. So, to me, they're just good friends!) (on that note, for the scary girl x damien shippers, I personally see them as friends, I just can't see scary girl with anyone sorry 😅)

chazee (chase x zee): okay, hear me out on this one. before the season came out, when all I knew abt everyone were those random pics of episodes, I remember wishing chase to be gay (or bi or smth that isn't straight or he realizes he's not straight while in the show) bc it'd break that stereotype which I thought would be cool--and I shipped him with zee like offhandedly, nothing extreme, just lowkey. like I thought their shipname was cute (chazee?? hello?? literally adorable?? and I've found out that ppl are calling them cheese now too and fdhdjf that just makes it cuter). then I started watching the season and got to know chase's whole personality, I was like 'ehhhh' and this pairing just...got shunted to the far corners of my mind. THEN I came across this freaking adorable fic of these two (it's this one!) that somehow converted me back to shipping these two??? then I started thinking up random scenarios involving the two and yeah imma say I adore these two. idk I feel like zee would be good for chase, like their way of viewing the world would be pretty helpful for someone like chase?? (plus the whole sexuality crisis can still exist on chase's end bc imo zee is the kinda person to already be aware of a lot of things abt him (their gender, their sexuality, etc) but not put much emphasis on it, y'feel?), and maybe chase's way of expressing himself would balance out zee's??? who knows?? idk I feel like this ship has a lot of potential and it's worth exploring-

mkulia (mk x julia): they'd be the queens of meet-uglies lmaoo but no rlly, they'd be rlly great together, I feel! they give off alenoah vibes too, which I think is pretty neat! idk much abt them rn bc I'm only a fourth in the season, but I will def let you know my thoughts once I do!

I think that's it! these aren't all the ships I ship obv, but if I had to pick favs, it would be these ones!

oh, btw, as a treat, let me talk abt my least fav character in the season after I talked abt my fav ships fhjdfhI okay so I genuinely dislike ripper so much lmfao, like in the beginning he was 'meh' to me and he just plummeted the more I watched the season. I would not subject anyone to the pain of being shipped with him at all (the only ship I can tolerate is chipper but even then it's shipped ironically and I've hardly any interest in it; sorry chipper fans lmao)😭 literally hope he gets eliminated early next season--it's what he deserves after the whole deal with axel's elimination this season.

DenNor: :] I know it is predictable or whatever but their relationship is so special to me and is a big comfort ship and has been for so long I was talking about this on discord last night but the way Denmark loves Norway is just so sweet and genuine and it makes me so happy. And makes me want to cry. I also really like their history I think it makes it a very interesting pairing, though I am not the best when it comes to talking about historical stuff so I will leave that for now. I don't think it's a perfect relationship I think they have had their ups and downs but it works out.

I also think their dynamic is so funny is litterally this post

NedDen/DenNed !! : They're like college frat bros who are in love they're besties 4 life . I have a hard time explaining this in a way that I am satisfied with but they have a very very close friendship that is very intimate and romance/relationship wise their relationship is both. Very intimate but also very casual. Ned is generally the first guy Den goes to when he needs to talk to someone, especially during times where he might not be on the best terms with Sweden or the other Nordics. They get wasted and high together and bond over bike rides and having dumb stupid hair

Gutters is what initially got me shipping them and that definitely definitely influenced how I see their relationship.

Also I think it's funny their shipname is a palindrome

anyway, deep thought but if you think about it when people ship carmen and grey back at vile academy and during each one's brainwashing you're essentially shipping different characters making redcrackle have plenty of subcategories, what would be your ship name for each categorie( I can't be bothered to list how many there are i'm sorry).

I don't romantically ship them at the VILE academy stage [even if I do believe its an important dynamic to their overall relationship] because thats where its strictly platonic. But since I have been around around long enough that I know that people sometimes people use ship as just a relation"ship" marker [hi ouat I know you guys weren't actually shipping certain peeps lol. Like they had platonic ship names regularly and most people understood that :p] that part would probably be cracklesheep or graysheep because thats when carmen was just Black sheep and gray didn't have any attachment to his name graham but also wasn't hard line about being crackle yet.

Cracklecarmen?

Tbh I've really grown attached to red crackle not just because its the first way to make it clear that i want these 2 to kiss because its the clear romantic shipname lol but also because its kinda what they choose to portray themselves as. Carmen using her red coat and name from the outfit she got off the island to signal the need to stop VILE to anyone who can find her and Crackle as a codename of the path that gray is choosing to follow even as he finds something good inside him trying to make it to the surface

and their relationship allowing them to clash but also want to look past that to the people who made these choices because they care about them.

And what makes it fun is that those subcategories include past subcategories, build on them, and change aspects of their relationship ever so slightly until we end up with something that is not at all how they started [gray in love with carmen and carmen with her deeper feelings of being forced to go without him as fully expressed as the finale allowed] . And when their memories are in place they acknowledge that. Its all rc to me...but I get it ! Exploring each category is VERRRRY different and I even sometimes tag them dark! Redcrackle for the dark red caper version of them instead of redcrackle because that is just ...different.

and my username lol is because I LOVE her nickname for him but always champion that entirely ignoring " graham " isnt....like they do need to adress that...somehow...not even to always go by his name because he's not anti-his nickname [and as you can see i think that carmen conflating his flirtations as something gray now can do �� is hmmmmmmmmmm] but its still...~~~~~~idk. I am very appreciative that he does have a full name.

Girrrrrrl..... Ever since Chris confirmed his rlshp with Alba, I've honestly been staying kind of away from his fandom and his personal life talk. It's just too crazy! 🤪

When the news dropped that it was confirmed he and Alba were indeed a couple (there were tons of rumors for a while) the fandom went through a meltdown, and when I saw this tweet.... girl I was done rofl 🤣

That's when I decided to just focus on Chris and his work, and not really focus on his rlshp right now. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Don't get me wrong, fans don't HAVE to like his gf or even particularly care for him with her. I'm not saying that fans have to automatically become a fan of whoever their fave is dating at the current moment, or run out and buy shipname T-shirts or start shipping blogs about their rlshp or anything rofl 🤣 (To me that's just weird 🥴)

But you should at the very least RESPECT the fact that this is the woman your favorite celebrity man (whoever he may be) is dating at the moment, and obviously he loves this woman if he's been with her all this time. Fans don't need to be dogging her online, spreading negative theories, or claiming that the rlshp is "PR" in other words. 🙄

Tbh? I feel like the term "PR" rlshp has been OVERused these days, and is more so just a silly term some bitter fans use to describe whatever rlshp that they don't particularly like their fave in. 🙄

Imo, it's just a way for fans to nurse their hurt feelings and try to negate a REAL rlshp that their favorite celebrity guy is in with another woman. 👀 That's how I've always viewed it. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Chris & Alba = Fans swear it's "PR"

Timothée & Kylie = Fans swear it's "PR" (PR for what?? They're not even in the same industry, and him dating her does NOTHING really for his image rofl 🤣)

Austin & Kaia = Fans swear it's "PR"

Michael B. Jordan & Lori Harvey = Fans swore it was "PR" when they were dating

Tom & Zendaya = Antis swore it was "PR" too! 🙄

Notice a pattern? 😏

I feel like just about ANY rlshp in Hollywood that fans don't like their hot guy in, they just automatically claim it's "PR". 😒

I hate to break the bubble folks, but HW doesn't usually do PR rlshps like this anymore lol. PR is more so in the form of publicity stunts, or needing to have the actor do smthg to clean up his image that has been TAINTED by something really negative coming out about him in the media. It's NOT usually in the form of a "fake" rlshp. 😒

In addition, fake rlshps usually only last a few months (if even THAT), and certainly not YEARS upon YEARS. Like c'mon.... 😏

Anyway, back to Chris....

He doesn't look miserable in the least to me! He looks fine! In fact he looks happier than ever! 🤣 I mean, he usually looks happy anyway (he's just a smiley, jokey guy in general lol), but everything I've been seeing with him and Alba seems so sweet and he seems so in love with her. 🥰

He's been wanting a serious rlshp (and marriage and kids) for a long time now, so if she's "the one", then I'm happy for him. 😊

Idk much about her, but she seems to make him happy, so.... it is what it is! 🤷🏾‍♀️

Anyway, let me stop rambling, coz I promised I would be more BRIEF on my blog from now on.

okay so i know i insinuated i wouldn’t be doing much actual posting on this site in my description but apparently i’m already going very hard against that statement so i might as well make one of these for convenience in the future. complete text under the cut

hey, i'm sharko. he/they/it/ve. pan. desperately in love with several fictional men who will never be real. still figuring stuff out but as of now i'm fairly sure that i'm a guy who likes men lots and lots. i have a tendency to be very blunt and somewhat aggressive, so if i say something properly out of line at all please let me know. i won’t be posting outright wank material on here but occasionally may post suggestive/nsft content from time to time (tagged appropriately, i’m hoping)

mostly a blog for twiddling my fingers and snickering to myself abt my interests i have like 2 or 3 very intense interests right now but they're verrrrry very secretive i bet you totally won't be able to guess them at all. im very normal and quiet about them (lie)

art tag is #sharko’s stuff (link doesn’t work on app fsr) i mostly do sfm things but one day when i’m not terrible at drawing i might start posting something 2d every once in a while. quick note: nearly all reblogged posts will be queued bc i'm very mentally sound and healthy probably

character tags will usually have a prefix of the fandom they're from (e.g. "#tf2 soldier", "#tfp optimus prime"). ensemble cast posts for tf2 will be tagged "#whole team tag" and ensemble posts for tfp will be tagged with #team prime and/or #decepticons. tf2 shipnames will be straightforward portmanteaus w/ names in order of class numbers (e.g. #sniperspy and #soldierdemo) for consistency but tfp shipnames are just. whatever idk. "#actual game tag" for posts involving tf2 gameplay cause it's like the only game i talk about right now

original textposts will usually be tagged under "#it can talk" along with posts where i have anything of substance to say in the tags (with posts by other people that i consider befitting of the term textposts just tagged #textpost), resources and generally helpful things go under #useful, and other miscellaneous/non-fandom stuff goes under #sharkoposting. rbs are tagged #reblog and art i find will be tagged #art because i do not have the energy to be creative about the tagging of those, 3d stuff tagged appropriately (though if it isn't sfm, it'll probably just be #3d).

do not involve me in pro-ship or anti-ship discourse. i do not have a dni and don't plan to have one in future, but for both our sakes i do not want to talk about that. i don't give a flying fuck what other people ship, and i would highly appreciate if nobody attempted to argue with me about the ethics of mashing fictional characters' faces together like barbie dolls. thank you and have a good night tri-state area
