this is unironically one of my fav scenes in the entire show:
f: lip, you and ian clean out the pool. i have a few surpises in there for you.
i: carl, tell lip to do it himself.
c: lip, ian says you can do it yourself.
l: carl, tell ian he’s being a douchebag and stop talking to me.
c: ian lip says you’re being a douchbag an-🫢
THEY’RE SUCH SIBLINGS I LOVE IT

what theories elaborate🙏
Was trying not to be too controversial but okay 😂
I think some people headcanon Mickey as being confident when it comes to his relationship with Ian and “never losing hope in their relationship” because it’s a way for them to give Ian a pass for the way he’s hurt Mickey, so to speak. I’ve seen sentiments like “Mickey doesn’t hold anything against Ian. So why does the fandom????” from people in response to criticisms of Ian (particularly when it comes to 5x12 and S6).
People use the 7x10 and 9x06 reunions as evidence of Mickey’s confidence in Ian’s want for him but like…there are several canon instances that point to Mickey actually being pretty insecure about how Ian feels about him and fearful of Ian dropping him again.
At the end of 7x10 he asks Ian “is this goodbye?” and is visibly happily surprised when Ian gets in the car. He was not expecting Ian to agree to go with him.
In 7x11 he asks him “did you ever think about me when I was in the joint?” and voices the fact that Ian never visited bothered him.
In S10, when Ian tells him he has a parole hearing, Mickey is very clearly upset by it at first and doesn’t have any confidence in them maintaining a relationship while Ian is out and he’s in prison (probably because of what happened in S6).
And Mickey literally says “you just don’t love me enough now” when Ian tries to talk to him after the courthouse drama. Point blank spelling out that he doesn’t think Ian loves him as much as he loves Ian. These are all canon scenes and lines.
And it makes complete sense why he would feel that way after Ian’s long history of running away from him. Again, yes, Ian had his reasons. But you can understand why Ian does the things he’s done while also acknowledging the hurtful effect they’ve had on Mickey. And the truth is, Mickey has abandonment issues when it comes to Ian. (At least in S10).
“Ian has commitment issues that stem from his lack of self-worth after his bipolar diagnosis” and “Mickey has been clearly hurt by the times Ian has let him down” are two arguments that can exist at the same time.

The 7x12 parallel with Michonne dropping her sword when she thinks Rick might have died and then running up to hug him when she realizes he's okay :')
listen. LISTEN!!!!!!! THIS PARALLEL IS EVERYTHING TO ME.
we talk a lot about how rick can't live without michonne because like, that's established. we know that. and in case we didn't know that they spelled it out for us by having him say it in plain english.
but it's also abundantly clear that michonne can't really live without rick either. yes, she kept it together for her kids in seasons 9 and 10, but she was not the michonne we had spent the last few years watching her become - she was closed off and hard and felt more like season 3 michonne whenever she wasn't around her kids. if you're ever in the mood to feel completely devastated an easy way to do that is to watch that scene in 9x06 where judith slowly tiptoes towards michonne's bedroom door listening to michonne talk to a rick who isn't there because she thinks no one can hear her, and it becomes painfully clear that michonne's grief and pain is a living thing this family has to navigate around even six years later. and that's when she still believed he was alive.
to actually drop her sword while surrounded by walkers shows a complete disregard for her own life, and it's so automatic, like her body shuts down before she can even process it. i saw someone, i think it was on twitter, call it "passively suicidal" and it's true! i like to think she might have picked the sword back up but it certainly didn't look she was going to in 7x12. i like to think that if rick had died in 1x06 she'd have gotten it together and gone back home to her kids who need her. but what would a michonne who definitively saw rick die with her own eyes even look like?
my point here is that as many many people have observed michonne's love for rick is expressed through her actions much more than her words, through what she does for him and because of him and how she reacts to him. and these two scenes are the equivalent of rick saying "without you, i die." seasons 9 and 10 were her equivalent of figuring out how to be dead and and live. her running towards him when he turns out to be alive is a relief, because what if she can't figure out how to die all over again?
she's the strongest woman alive and can survive anything but i'm really glad she didn't have to.

the thing about cas's arc in the first half of s9 is that it's a prime example of why I cannot look at this show through a purely watsonian lens. there is no way to make it make sense except bad writing. and "idk it was bad writing" is a copout with most shows, and can very much be a copout with this show, depending on how selectively you apply it. but also, with spn, not only is the writing bad, but the show is SO hyperaware of itself as a story that I have a lot of trouble ignoring the doylist factors, the way I would at least try to in another show.
like, I have a ton of logistic/plot questions about the whole early-s9 situation, because the basic facts just don't really make sense from 9x03 to 9x06 to 9x09. but more than that, I feel like any purely watsonian explanation requires me to either throw out a lot of dean's past characterization (I can be pretty hashtag deancrit, but I do think it's ooc for him to kick cas out with absolutely nothing) or a lot of cas's future characterization (I think cas's takeaway was that dean does not care enough about him to help him unless it will serve some larger purpose of dean's to do so, and I think that informs a lot of cas's future behavior). like, the potential watsonian explanations are:
dean offered cas some supplies/cash/a fake id, and cas was just too proud/hurt/stupid to accept
dean offered cas some supplies/cash/a fake id, and cas took them, but he was too proud/hurt to keep them or too stupid to keep them safe/use them wisely
dean is a complete sociopath who doesn't give a shit about cas and kicked him out with literally nothing but the clothes on his back, and cas's self-esteem is so low that he thinks it was okay
dean is too stupid to even realize that cas might need supplies/money/resources
and I don't find any of those explanations satisfying, because there are things in other episodes that undercut or refute all of them: if dean genuinely just doesn't give a shit about cas, why did he bother trying to find him in 9x03 in the first place, or care when april killed him and get gadreel to bring him back? if dean didn't give him anything in the way of money/supplies, then how did cas get from kansas to idaho, or get a job with no papers or bank account? but if dean did give him cash/the magic credit card and fake identity papers, then why did cas need the job in the first place and/or why is he sleeping in the back room? and if he didn't, if cas is truly in such a dangerously precarious situation in 9x06 because he has nothing else, then how, in 9x09, does he have a fairly nice, well-fitting suit and presumably a fake badge and a car? if dean gave him some money to begin with, and cas is just clueless with money and blew it all, then how did he get savvy enough, between 9x03 and 9x09, to acquire all of those things himself? if dean gave him money and/or the suit, badge, and car to begin with, but cas was too proud and hurt to make use of them, what changed his mind? if he has those things in 9x09 because dean helped him after 9x06 and either gave them to him or gave him the means/money to get them, then why wouldn't dean have just done that in the first place? if dean didn't help him at all, despite knowing what a dangerous situation cas was in before they found him in 9x03, then why does dean approach cas in 9x06 like he expects any reaction but completely justified anger and hurt, and treat cas's new job like it's a silly little thing cas is doing for funsies rather than his best chance at survival? but then, why is cas treating the whole thing like it was no big deal in 9x09?
meanwhile, the doylist explanations are:
the episodes in question were written by privileged white people who have no idea what actual poverty and homelessness entail, and didn't care enough to do some basic research (or even like, ask the cast member who'd actually experienced serious poverty and homelessness for some input)
there was little to no coordination among the writers to ensure story or emotional continuity across episodes (if you told me berens and buckleming just didn't read each others' scripts or watch each others' episodes I would 100% believe you)
they didn't want to pay misha for enough episodes to show us what the fuck was going on with cas in the 9x03-9x09 span, let alone have him kicking around the bunker
and also possibly
everyone knew that if cas was kicking around the bunker, and they put him in the standard hunter uniform, dean's spirit would fully possess jackles and derail every scene by flinging him mouth-first onto misha's dick
and all of those make a lot more sense to me than any purely watsonian explanation is ever going to. and again, I do think that shrugging and saying "bad writing" can be a copout, and with other shows, I would make more of an effort to at least try and find a satisfying watsonian explanation, but spn is not only badly-written, but self-aware, even self-obsessed, in a way that other shows are not, so it's a lot harder for me to just disregard the non-diagetic factors. so I do tend to think that if you choose a watsonian explanation for the whole thing, it can be kind of a rorschach test, because you basically have to decide which character's development to prioritize, dean's or cas's.

I'm the one who gripped you tight and raised you from perdition. (4x01)
You don't think you deserve to be saved... (4x01)
Can I tell you something if you promise not to tell another soul? (4x07)
I was getting too close to the humans in my charge. You. (4x16)
For what it's worth, I would give anything not to have you do this. (4x16)
We've been through much together you and I. (4x22)
I'm hunted, I rebelled, and I did it, all of it, for you... (5x02)
So, what, I’m Thelma and you’re Louise and we’re just going to hold hands and sail off this cliff together? (5x03)
I’ll just wait here then. (5x04)
What? I like past you. (5x04)
Don’t ever change. (5x04)
I rebelled for this?! So that you could surrender to them? I gave everything for you. (5x20)
Dean and I do share a more profound bond. (6x03)
I wish circumstances were different. Much of the time I’d rather be here. (6x10)
So I went to an old friend for help. But, watching him, I stopped. Everything he sacrificed and I was about to ask him for more. (6x20)
And the worst part was Dean, trying so hard to be loyal, with every instinct telling him otherwise. (6x20)
I’m doing this for you, Dean. I’m doing this because of you. (6x20)
I was there. Where were you? (6x20)
Dean, I do everything you ask. I always come when you call. (6x21)
Don't make me lose you too. (6x22)
I'm gonna find some way to redeem myself to you. (7x01)
You just met yourself. I've known you for years. (7x17)
Part of me always believed that you’d come back. (7x17)
I'll go with you. And I'll do my best. (7x23)
I'd rather have you, cursed or not. (7x23)
Cas, we're getting out of here. We're going home. (8x02)
I prayed to you Cas, every night. (8x02)
Let me bottom-line it for you. I'm not leaving here without you. Understand? (8x02)
I have a price on my head and I’ve been trying to stay one step ahead of them. To keep them away from you. (8x02)
Cas, buddy, I need you. (8x02)
Cas... we're gonna shove your ass back through the eye of that needle if it kills all three of us. (8x05)
...thank you, for everything. (8x07)
Cas...I got you, hold on! (8x07)
...you can't save everyone my friend, though you try. (8x07)
I don't need to feel like hell for failing you, okay? For failing you like I've failed every other godforsaken thing that I care about! I don't need it! (8x07)
I did everything I could to get you out – everything! I did not leave you. (8x07)
Yes, I am with you. (8x07)
I’ll watch over you. (8x08)
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy you're back, I'm thrilled (8x08)
I won't hurt Dean. (8x17)
Cas, fight this! This is not you! Fight it! Cas. I know you're in there. I know you can hear me. Cas… It's me. We’re family. We need you. I need you. (8x17)
Dean, I can go with you. (8x22)
Dean. I'm sorry. For everything. (8x22)
Please man I need you here (9x01)
Cas? Cas!.... Never do that again! (9x03)
Dean, you know I always appreciate our talks, our time together. (9x03)
Nobody wants him here more than I do. (9x04)
Sorry I told you to go. I know it's been hard on you, you know, on your own. Well, you're adapting. I'm proud of you. (9x06)
I came as soon as you called. (9x10)
Cas, you just gave up an entire army for one guy. (9x22)
...everyone you love, they could be long dead. Everyone except me. I’m the one who will have to watch you murder the world. So, if there’s even a small chance that we can save you, I won’t let you walk out of this room. (10x22)
Dean. I don't wanna have to hurt you. (10x22)
No, Dean. Please. (10x22)
It?" It's not an "it," Sam. It's Cas...Cas is family. (11x18)
I could go with you. (11x23)
Morning, sunshine. Some coffee? (12x03)
And Cast—Cas is my best friend. (12x11)
My shy but devastatingly handsome friend. (12x12)
I love you… I love you all. (12x12)
It's a gift, you keep those. (12x19)
And I just wanted, I needed to come back here with a win for you. (12x19)
We’ve lost everything. And now you’re gonna bring him back. Okay? You’re gonna bring back Cas... (13x01)
It’s good to have you back. (13x06)
Cas, you wanna try this angel thing, then go for it. Just don’t get dead again. (13x19)
Dean. You asked "What about this is real?" We are. (15x02)
Cas, I hope you can hear me… that wherever you are, it’s not too late. I should’ve stopped you. You’re my best friend, but I just let you go. ‘Cause it was easier than admitting I was wrong. I… I don’t know why I get so angry. I just know… I know that it’s… i-it’s just always been there. And when things go bad, it just… it comes out. And I can’t… I can’t stop it. No matter how… how bad I want to, I just can’t stop it. And… And I… I forgive you. Of course I forgive you. I’m sorry it took me so long… I’m sorry it took me till now to say it. Cas, I’m… I’m so sorry. Man, I hope you can hear me. I hope you can hear me. (15x09)
You don’t have to say it. I heard your prayer. (15x09)
What my true happiness could even look like. I never found an answer because the one thing I want... It's something I know I can't have. But I think I know... I think I know now. Happiness isn't in the having, it's in just being. It's in just saying it.
I know. I know how you see yourself, Dean. You see yourself the same way our enemies see you. You're destructive, and you're angry, and you're broken. You're "daddy's blunt instrument." And you think that hate and anger, that's... That's what drives you, that's who you are. It's not. And everyone who knows you sees it. Everything you have ever done, the good and the bad, you have done for love. You raised your little brother for love. You fought for this whole world for love. That is who you are. You're the most caring man on Earth. You are the most selfless, loving human being I will ever know. (he smiles, crying now) You know, ever since we met, ever since I pulled you out of Hell... Knowing you has changed me. Because you cared, I cared. I cared about you. I cared about Sam, I cared about Jack... I cared about the whole world because of you. You changed me, Dean.
I love you. (15x18)
Updated to include more quotes. Due to the deluge of script leaks showing edited or censored destiel dialogue, I decided it would be cathartic to collate the dialogue that did make it on the show. Data crunch: Dialogue spoken only by Cas and Dean. 65 total quotes: 34 Cas (52%), 31 Dean (48%).

Is there a cannon compliant abo fic where Cas is an Omega and Dean still throws him out as a human like in S9? (Dean may or may not know about castiel's secondary gender)
Hm, I can't think of having read one.
I have written some canon compliant A/B/O fics but none that fits what you're looking for. But I'm going to share them because maybe it'll still be interesting.
There's a post S8 finale fic with omega Cas that deals with Cas hanging out in the homeless shelters before Dean and Sam find him:
The Extraordinarily Disappointing Fragrance of Cheese
And I've written one that is set in 9x06 where Cas had been thrown out of the Bunker but it's not A/B/O just regular old Mpreg:
The Soft Shapes of Guilt
(I also have one set in S10and one set in S15. Ah, I forgot some. I have written too much A/B/O *lol*)
Maybe I should do a canon compliant A/B/O rec one day.

Some Gallavich questions:
1. What was the first scene that made you ship them?
2. Favorite scene of theirs?
3. Favorite Ian line? Mickey line? (Doesn’t have to be in relation to each other)
4. When do you think they both realized they loved the other?
5. Where do you see them five years into their marriage?
YAY I LOVE THIS ASK TY
so when i started watching shameless i had already seen a few episodes/scenes before, so i knew that ian and mickey would end up together. the first scene was probably just, “IAN GALLAGHERRRRRR! YOU MESSED WITH THE WRONG GIRL!” but idk- one of the first scenes i watched was 4x12 where ian couldn’t get up, and when i saw how mickey was with ian that made me love them together.
bro i have no idea. every scene??? i think that if i had to narrow it down i’d say when ian came looking for the gun (1x07), the first dugouts scene (2x02), the first kiss (3x05), “don’t” (3x12), mickey comes out (4x11), ian can’t sleep (5x01), “sorry i’m late” (5x08), “you’re under my skin, man” (7x10), reunited in prison (9x06), “i wanna be where you are” (10x03), ian proposes (10x10), the entire wedding (10x12), “nick jonas” (11x03), mickey hires ian (11x04), the anniversary party (11x12). so yeah. i have a lot of favorites.
ian: “i think his dying wish was… get this plastic bag off my head.” mickey: “alright lets not stand around with our dicks in our hands, gentlemen.”
i think that mickey definitely realized he loved ian when he didn’t kill frank; and for ian, i think that he realized around the time when he was crying because of monica and wanted to see mickey/he picked mickey over kash.
five years into their marriage, i see them owning a house. i could see them having a house on the southside, a nice one that is what they both like. i made a post about my feelings on galladads, specifically how i’m not a big fan of it, so personally i don’t see them with a child- a cat or dog, maybe. i just hope that they’re happy and that things are going smoothly.

In one of your recent reblogs you mentioned a bees “you make me laugh” line that was scrapped? Where was it originally/what happened?
After 9x06 came out, Arryn posted a video on Instagram of her recording a line that was cut from the confession where Blake's response to Yang's "You've got a really good brain" line was "I like your brain too. Your jokes, I mean. You make me laugh" and I haven't stopped thinking about it since.
I think I remember seeing a video of Arryn mentioning that line at a convention where she was like "I love that line so much and I'm going to keep bringing it up so everyone knows it exists."

I’ve been reading lots of stuff about autistic Hotch. How do you think Hotch stims? Are there any gifs/examples from episodes?
OKAY so this is going to be a long list because I just went back through the episodes I've seen up to specifically looking for examples! But thank you for asking. I've been meaning to collect examples somewhere.
(I'll preface this with saying that everyone stims and just because I mention something here doesn't mean anyone is automatically autistic because they do that too.)
The main thing I can think of is what I very descriptively call "the hand thing" he does.
Tumblr media
This is probably the clearest example of it in a gif I could find. What I mean is the way he rubs his thumb over the ends of his fingers. I see it as a fairly subtle way to stim and it tends to come up mostly when he's either thinking or stressed. That's the main thing I've picked up on because he does it quite a lot; I haven't gone over the earlier episodes specifically yet - only skimmed certain parts based on the incidences of it I found going through screencaps from @masterwords - it seems most prevalent in the earlier seasons.
A few more examples - they don't all have the actual motion in them but you can see his fingers curled up like that. He also brings his hand up near his face somewhat often, again usually when he's thinking.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He also does it a ton while walking and standing in general. Some more screenshots (thanks again @masterwords)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Two occasions stick out to me, both when he was distressed or highly worried at least. First is in Omnivore (4x18). It isn't strictly the thumb-over-the-fingers but it is similar, with his hand balled up and almost hiding his face at first.
Tumblr media
And the second I really like because we get the hand stim very clearly but also rocking! It's in 2x08, when Derek refuses to step away from the lady with a bomb under her car. Please ignore the choppy editing and audio lol I just needed to show this:
Here we also see the same thing he does in the above gif of 4x18 - the teeth grinding. I think that's only when he's under a fair bit of distress though.
I've been keeping track of it from now on partly because one day I'm going to compile everything into one absurdly long meta. So I've undoubtedly missed many times and my timings might be a little off but here's some if you want to see examples:
LDSK - 11:23
3x15 - 3:00
1x08 - bomb + rocking
2x15 -
5x03 - start + middle
7x07 - tapping
3x12 - 6min
3x11 - 22min
2x23 - 6min + 30min
2x19 - 39min
2x08 - 31min + earlier
2x05 - 29min
2x02 - 37min
1x21 - 30min
1x16 - 17min
4x18 - after bus
9x06 - 24min with pen
9x08 - 8min 10s
9x09 -5min 30s, 7:57, 22:40
9x11 - 29:46
9x13 - 6:55
9x14 - 4:40, 29:50
As you can see, it's the most noticeable for me in the early seasons. 9x06 was around when I started keeping track as I watch, not retrospectively, for context.
Not all of these are the hand thing! Some are things like when he picks up a pen he tends to keep it in hand even when he's not actually writing anything, just slightly fiddling with it constantly. And again that's nowhere near JUST an autistic thing but I notice it in addition to the main hand thing.
Another thing is, mostly when he's anxious and holding something like a phone, he'll tap his fingers lightly against it. I have a clip of him somewhere on my blog doing it in 7x07.
There's also what he does with his hands when he isn't stimming that's interesting to me.
Hotch spends a lot of time with his arms either crossed or his hands in his pockets. Often the hand thing and the crossed arms happen at the same, where he'll have his right arm across his chest and with his left running his thumb over his fingers.
I find it really interesting because I read that as trying not to stim. Because if his hands are in his pocket, he can't. If he's got his arms folded, he can't. I'd imagine it fits well with him and his backstory. He's quite reserved in general so it makes sense he wouldn't want to stim very openly even if it's a subtle thing, and then you add in the implications from 1x08 and it wouldn't be a stretch to imagine he was discouraged, whether consciously or not, not to.
Then again, it could also simply be a comfort thing to do something with his hands rather than not stimming. Could be counted as stimming itself - something like pressure.
But in order of most to least frequent, the canon stimming I see from him is
The hand thing
Fidgeting with pens, etc.
Teeth grinding
Rocking

Hello Alice!
It's nice ask week in the 911: lone Star fandom but I'm breaking containment to send you a nice ask about shameless!
What are your top five favorite episodes of Shameless?
Hi Rose!
Welcome, I hope you enjoy your time out of containment to discuss shameless!
1) 3x05: The Sins of My Caretaker: Gallavich’s first kiss! “Mickey you got shot” “yeah I fuckin know I got shot” “Ian… WHAT THE FUCK?!” Plus Debbie not reading the room and screaming about her day at the pool. It’s just such a funny episode!
2) 4x11: Emily:
Mickey coming out. “I just want everyone here to know that I’m fuckin gay, big ol’ mo”. “Is this where you wanna spend your day off?” “You’re here” gets me every time. Ian kissing Mickey’s forehead. Plus something not Gallavich related (shocker), Frank thinking he’s speaking to Fiona when he’s talking to Emily, it’s nice to see that deep down he does think about the kids… sometimes.
3) 5x06: Crazy Love:
Ofc I love this one for different reasons than the rest. Cameron’s acting is amazing. Mickey telling Ian he loves him for the first time on the phone. Little details like phone lock screens. “Can I go in with him?”.
4) 7x11: Happily Ever After:
Mickey looks extra hot. I love them having fun on the trip to Mexico. Let’s just ignore the ending :( side note, any recs for fics where Ian goes to Mexica with Mick?
5) 9x06: Face It, You’re Gorgeous:
I love Ian having his cozy day at home, the Carl stories! Mickey and Ian reunion. Pink+White
Thanks for much for the ask! What are yours?

Am I the only one who thinks the time gap in 9x06 Heaven can't wait is there for the sole purpose of Dean not having to directly acknowledge the fact that Cas was homeless
Because if Dean had dropped Cas at Gas-N-Sip at night and left, then He would have presented him in a bad light, and since SPN can't do that to their golden boy. It was morning.
I mean nothing wrong with dropping your "friend" at the place of his employment in the Moring, right?
It also saved them from a fanfom riot.

thank you so much clarifying anon, and for the question! i think the easiest way to do this is to break it up by show.
towl
favorite episodes: I think it goes without saying that just like everyone else episode 4 is my favorite. it's a stand out not just for towl but for twd as a whole and is magnificent from start to finish. as for the rest? i have a lot of trouble ranking them actually because i love all of them for different reasons, but I guess my other favorites in no particular order are:
6 because it was just SO satisfying. that reunion seriously healed something in me. I love the flashbacks and how their pillow talk was incorporated throughout.
3 because it had me literally screaming at my tv and i love angst <3
1 because i didn't realize how much i missed rick grimes until i got him back, and i'm still so impressed by how much they accomplished in that one episode. also i think andrew lincoln was phenomenal and the ending was perfect. it gave me that WE'RE SO FUCKING BACK!! feeling that set the tone for the whole series.
favorite richonne moments:
the family reunion in episode 6 goes without saying right? it's all i wanted from the series and they gave it to me and it was everything
like, all of episode 4 lol but the standouts for me are "you don't have to thank me ever" (like, that whole sequence of him saving her) "the only time I feel safe is when I'm with you" (because i'm STILL reeling from that) the without you I die monologue obviously and i also really love the specific way rick's voice cracks when he says "you think I didn't want to be with you? I tried everything" and the way michonne's lip trembles in response. i talked about how rick is suppressing his emotions throughout that entire episode and that's one of the few moments he loses his composure - it's SO effective
the full reunion in episode 2!
rick putting the ring on michonne's finger MID THRUST. hello?
the proposal! his nervousness! her obvious joy and delight! i actually really love how light and funny they were all throughout episode 5. i re-watch all of those scenes a LOT
rick pulling his gun on thorne when she put her hand on her knife while interrogating michonne/rick stepping in front of thorne's gun when she had it pointed at michonne.
MICHONNE THROWING THEM OUT OF THE HELICOPTER
an underrated moment from the finale i really love is when rick grab's michonne's fingers when thorne orders them to walk with their hands up. i love that he needed that contact!
in the finale when rick says he just wants to go home. he wouldn't have, and they both know it, but i love that he was allowed to express that. AND i love michonne's reaction to it.
michonne dropping her sword (again!) when she thinks rick is dead
i really really REALLY love the dream sequences from episode one. it definitely felt like a huge fuck you to everyone who said they never would have ended up together if the apocalypse hadn't happened. like! sorry but no! michonne is rick's soulmate! die mad about it!

favorite episodes: 6x10 the next world, 7x12 say yes, and 3x12 clear for obvious reasons. I also really love 6x09 no way out for having one of my favorite richonne scenes ever, 4x09 after, 4x11 claimed, 5x11 the distance for the amazing richonne build-up, 9x01 a new beginning (richonne just feel VERY married), 9x05 what comes after because i was tense and distraught the whole time even though i was spoiled for the ending, and 9x06 who are you now: michonne's grief is so palpable even years later, danai was incredible and that scene with judith at the end wrecks me. plus the RJ reveal!
favorite richonne moments:
"i've never seen your face like that before." listen. LISTEN. years ago i saw a gifset of this exact scene right here on tumblr dot com and it was so cute that i decided i would watch the zombie show if those two get together. and now HERE I AM. it's the scene that started it all for me, and it's still one of my favorites because it's so cute.
FIRST KISS ON THE COUCH. arguably the best first kiss of all time
all of say yes but SPECIFICALLY when michonne drops her sword, and how she jumps into his arms when it turns out he's alive, the panicked way she says "no no no" when rick tells her she could lose him. but also, how goofy and silly they were the rest of the time. they have fun together! they don't just love each other, they like each other!
THE END OF 6x09 WHEN RICK WALKS OUT INTO THE HERD. michonne loses her shit completely in a way we didn't see again until the bridge. nothing is more terrifying to her than rick (or her kids) dying, and that will always get to me. the way she was the FIRST one out the door once denise gave the go ahead? the fact that the ONLY thing that kept her from running after him sooner was the fact that carl still needed her? GIRL???
rick smiling at michonne and carl on the train tracks AND the "i'm okay/I know/how?/because I'm okay too" exchange also on the train tracks. i'm a 'rick fell in love with her on the train tracks' truther forever and ever amen.
that hug at the end of 7x10 and the little kiss on her forehead :)
"I'm still with you." everything about that scene is just the two of them saying "i love you" without actually saying it.
"we should go to washington" oh my god the look on her FACE
in 4x09 that whole sequence where michonne sees herself in the walkers, kills them all, makes the deliberate choice to follow the tracks and they lead her directly to rick and carl???? the way she LOOKS TO THE HEAVENS AND CRIES??? rick's incredulous laughter and "it's for you"? what kind of invisible string tying you to me-soulmate bullshit?
the 9x05 "do you know why i fell in love with you?" dream sequence
9x01 "how'd I get so lucky finding you?" the domesticity of that entire scene.
first meeting at the prison. it's SO charged and it's so amazing to re-watch that scene and be like rick!!! that's your wife!!! and again. towl just confirms it really WAS soulmates meeting for the first time. incredible!
