Shiro looked back down at his phone with an awed smile. “I got paired with my favorite artist…” He answered wistfully.

Getting with Shiro is worth anything. Anything. So Keith is going to fake being the cliche with daddy issues - complete with stuffed animals, booty shorts, and an utter loss of dignity - until he makes it. Hopefully along the way he’ll figure out why it feels like being Shiro’s baby boy might just be the best thing that’s ever happened to him.

Keith has a moment where he wonders, somewhat blankly, how he bought this perfectly serviceable shirt and then promptly forgot its existence. Then he looks down. And remembers in a series of post traumatic flashbacks exactly why he’d blocked the shirt from his consciousness.

Namely, three words, in a font that isn’t comic sans but comes insultingly close to it, garnished with red glitter: Daddy’s Little Boy.

“Keith?” Very slowly, he turns to look at the closed door to his bedroom. “Keith, are you okay? I heard…” Probably some kind of vaguely strangled noise. But Shiro’s too nice to articulate that kind of thing. “Keith? If you don’t answer, I’m coming in.”

Getting ready for Mars – on the Space Station

ISS - International Space Station logo. 27 May 2019 From disrupted biological clocks to radiation and contamination hazards, Europe is running experiments on the International Space Station to take human exploration one step closer to Mars.

Earth or Mars?

As a new week starts on planet Earth, continuous research in orbit brings new knowledge about the challenges of making a trip to the Red Planet a reality. Martian rhythm A crew on a journey to Mars would live outside of the 24-hour cycle of light and darkness we experience on Earth. So do astronauts on the Space Station who experience 16 sunrises and sunsets every day. Scientists believe that such disruption has an impact on the astronauts’ biological clock. To see how long-duration spaceflight affects people, NASA astronaut Anne McClain wore two sensors – one on the forehead and another one on the chest – for 36 hours as part of the Circadian Rhythms experiment. For the fifth and last time during her mission, Anne’s core body temperature and melatonin levels were monitored. Results will be compared to those taken on Earth before and after her mission to understand the effects and how to counteract them during deep space missions.

Strategies for adapting – or not – to new rhythms could shed light on sleep disorders and help people on Earth that live outside of the natural cycle, staying up late or working night shifts. The pass of time could also be an issue for a trip to Mars that would last over 500 days. Recent research shows that astronauts underestimate time in orbit, just as they have an altered perception of distance in space. Canadian Space Agency astronaut David Saint-Jacques and NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nick Hague gauged how long a visual target appears on a laptop screen and their reaction times to these prompts recorded to process speed and attention. This was all part of the Time experiment, a relevant research because a misperception of time may cause delayed reactions and create risks for crew safety. Oxidative Mars Space takes its toll on the human body. An interplanetary mission to Mars will see astronauts ageing faster. The International Space Station provides a unique opportunity to both reproduce the effects of ageing and study the huge oxidative impact. The European Nano Antioxidants experiment is seeking innovative antioxidants to stimulate cells in the battle against muscle loss. Living cells and ceramic particles were placed in the Kubik incubator for six days, housed in ESA’s Columbus module. Half of the samples were kept at close to zero gravity, while the rest were exposed to the same gravity as Earth.

International Space Station (ISS)

The cells are now frozen at –80°C and waiting for their ride home on 3 June aboard the SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft. Findings from this research could aid the development of new supplements to support astronauts on missions to Mars. As soon as humans leave the protective shield that is Earth’s atmosphere, space radiation becomes a serious concern, especially if headed to Mars. Radiation levels in space are up to 15 times higher than on Earth. The Dosis-3D experiment helps understand space radiation and how it penetrates the Space Station walls. Eleven radiation detectors attached to the walls of Columbus record how much radiation gets through and help create a complete picture of space radiation inside the Station. The latest data downlink on 21 May marked seven years of continuous measurements in space for Dosis-3D. Resistant materials for the interplanetary journey Radiation also has an impact on hardware. The ICE Cubes facility is ESA’s faster, lower cost answer to making science happen in space. One of the “cubes” – small modular containers slotted in the Columbus lab – is investigating commercial computer boards’ resistance to space radiation. Bacteria and fungi can become a threat for both human health and equipment as they tend to build up in the constantly-recycled atmosphere of the International Space Station. European researchers are addressing this contamination with the Matiss-2 experiment. This study aims to find better materials to build a space station or spacecraft, especially important on our way to Mars.

Unwanted bacteria

Scientists will analyse the materials to see how the bacteria formed biofilms that protect them from cleaning agents and also help them adhere to surfaces. This week David Saint-Jacques packed the seventh sample holder with anti-microbial surfaces to be shipped back to Earth for analysis. ESA has demonstrated expertise in studying Mars from orbit, now we are looking to secure a safe landing, to rove across the surface and to drill underground to search for evidence of life. Our orbiters are already in place to provide data relay services for surface missions. The next logical step is to bring samples back to Earth, to provide access to Mars for scientists globally, and to better prepare for future human exploration of the Red Planet. This week we’re highlighting ESA’s contribution to Mars exploration as we ramp up to the launch of our second ExoMars mission, and look beyond to completing a Mars Sample Return mission. No News is Good News: Dissecting the timeline of the Second Colony

With Lotor’s role in the second half of season 8 edited out, we are left with many unanswered questions about the Altean Colony and what Lotor was doing at the lunar outpost. Two rather significant ones are the questions of when and why the facility was shut down before Keith and Krolia’s arrival.

Romelle’s flashbacks are vague about the timing of when these events took place in relation to the series timeline, but what we were initially presented with on the surface in Season 6 seems to suggest that Lotor shut down the second colony several years before the return of Voltron. I’d argue that the shuttering of the Second Colony happened more recently than that. Much more recently.

Let’s rewind things to Season 3, Episode 6 “Tailing a Comet”.

In this episode, Team Voltron attempts to track the trans reality comet Lotor stole at the end of S3E4 Hole in the Sky. In the course of their search, they find Lotor’s generals attacking a Galra base under the command of Throk. The base contains a fragment of the large Teludav the heroes used as part of their plan to defeat Zarkon in S2E12 “Best Laid Plans”. Lotor’s generals attempt to steal the Teludav, but Team Voltron is able to trick Acxa into destroying it. Lotor is angred by the loss of the Teludav, but expresses satisfaction when Throk takes the fall from Haggar for failing to protect his base.

There are two details I want to point out:

First, while Allura’s mind immediately jumps to Haggar at the revelation that Lotor is after the Teludav, we know already from Season 3 that Lotor wants nothing to do with Haggar, even before Seasons 4-6 confirm he actively despises her. The only explanation, then, is that Lotor was stealing the Teludav fragment from Haggar for his own purposes. But his surprise at having the Mark of the Chosen in S536 White Lion confirms that Lotor was unaware of his own potential for Altean Alchemy. This means that whatever Lotor was going to do with the Teludav, he wasn’t going to be using it himself.

Second, while Lotor is angry at Acxa for inadvertently destroying the Teludav, there is no evidence it was ever relevant to his plans to construct Sincline and access the Quintessence Field. There is nothing in his endeavors that even partially required the use of a Teludav, which means that he had a different purpose in mind for it.

But there is one facility that Lotor controlled that housed Alteans that – going by various comments in S6 and S7 – were there because of their high levels of Quintessence, and therefore, potential for Altean alchemy. Who – based on AJ Locascio’s post-S7 tweets, Sam Holt’s last line of S7E13, and Bandor’s ability to fly a shuttle pod back to the main colony even though none of the Alteans on the main colony knew how to fly one – fans have theorized were being taught to fly ships that used the pilot’s own Quintessence as a power source.

All these details point to the Teludav fragment stolen in Tailing a Comet being intended for delivery to the second colony to be studied and reverse engineered.

But Lotor doesn’t seem like the type of person to leave something like a Teludav, or a piece of one, in storage, so if the Second Colony had already been shut down at this point, why was Lotor so furious with Acxa when the Teludav is destroyed?

Unless it wasn’t shut down.

Now, let’s look at the second thing that’s connected to the Colony: the Blue Quintessence introduced in Season 4.

Kolivan and Keith’s dialogue indicates that this type of Quintessence has never been seen in the empire before. While Season 6 would have us believe this was taken directly from the Alteans, the visuals of the series don’t agree on that:

Season 1 established in Collection and Excraction that raw Quintessence taken directly from a living being is colored Yellow.

Quintessence that has been processed into a concentrated form by Haggar and the Druids’ magic into imperial fuel is pinkish-purple.

And Quintessence that has been concentrated by Altean Alchemy is blue, as shown in The Legend Begins.

Lotor was not directly draining Alteans at the Second Colony because if he was, then the batches being exported would be the same yellow Quintessence seen in Collection and Extraction, and we’d be seeing Keith and Kolivan raid one of those bases to watch it all be processed.

But when discussing where the new Quintessence is coming from, Kolivan specifically mentions something that is capable of purifying raw quintessence directly into its pure blue-white form: The Komar, which Kolivan points out has already been destroyed. But the last thing Haggar used it to drain Quintessence from before Allura destroyed it…

Was Voltron. Which is so full of Quintessence that it overloaded the Komar and resulted in glowing blue-white orbs emanating from the device that look exactly like those seen when Allura and Lotor go into the Quintessence Field in S6E4.

As @leakinghate speculated, Lotor was trying to use Quintessence extracted directly from Voltron itself to power his plan to enter the Rift Gate in “Begin the Blitz”. The ship Ranveig and Krolia recovered carrying a vat of Quintessence through the Quantum Abyss was heading into it, to see if the new Quintessence could be used to heal the drained test pilots. When explaining how Ranveig got his hands on the vat of Quintessence, Krolia says only that the destroyed ship had passed through the Quantum Abyss, she did not specify which direction it had been traveling in. It’s all but stated that the same creatures that destroyed Keith and Krolia’s ship in “Razor’s Edge” are responsible for the cargo ship’s destruction.

Based on the time that appears to have elapsed between seasons, Ranveig would have captured the shipment travelling through the Quantum Abyss sometime between seasons 3 and 4, as the shipments are implied to have stopped after Lotor goes on the run in Black Site, leaving him with only the amounts stockpiled in the Sincline Ships when he and the generals escape.

But that raises the question: if the covert shipping network that Kolivan and Keith discovered was secretly funneling the blue Quintessence from Central Command to Lotor’s cruiser and the Second Colony, who was flying the ships?

While Hate suggested that none of the ships had crews past a certain point on the journey, someone had to pilot the ships through the Quantum Abyss or else the ships would have taken forever to get to the Colony. Like with his (false) claim of conspiring with Acxa, there are too many variables in the Quantum Abyss to believe that Lotor trusted autopilot to get the Quintessence to its destination.

So, who was flying the ships to and from the Second Colony?

In Romelle’s flashbacks where the Alteans are being tested for the second colony, Lotor is always accompanied by Galra medical/research officers. Previous seasons have established through shots of standard Galra troops working on constructing Sincline Ship #2 in S4E3 “Black Site” that there are Galra outside of his generals who Lotor trusts with his secret projects. This would make the medics who helped him oversee the Second Colony the ideal candidates to pilot the Quintessence shipments through the Quantum Abyss. And the medics are conspicuously absent when Keith and Krolia go to investigate the second colony.

Here’s what I think happened:

At some point between Seasons 3 and 4, the Altean pilots training at the Second Colony being testing the first Pilot-Quintessence-fueled ships. Due to faulty research, the energy demands of the ships are too much for their pilots, who are drained to the point of near death. The test pilots are quickly placed into stasis to keep them alive until Lotor has access to the resources for proper healing. One of the pilots, Bandor, panics. He steals a pod and manages to fly back to the main colony where he gives a cryptic statement about the second colony being a lie before dying in his sister’s arms.

As has been theorized by others, Lotor gets ahold of the Quintessence Haggar extracted from Voltron. Thinking he can use it for his Sincline project, he ships it out a little bit at a time through a network of secret shipping routes, using decoy ships like the one Keith, Kolivan, and Regriss encounter in “Code of Honor” to throw Haggar off his trail and keep her from finding out what he’s up to.

The majority of the Quintessence is being delivered to his personal cruiser to be used by his Sincline ships, but he thinks he might be able to use it to heal the drained Alteans and has a shipment set aside to be taken to the Colony.

The medics take a cargo ship from the Second Colony through the Quantum Abyss to collect the shipment. Since all of them are going to ensure the security of the shipment (we don’t have a confirmed number, but the maximum seen on screen at once was 5), they leave the lunar outpost running on low power, shutting down everything but the stasis pods and whatever systems are necessary to keep those running.

They collect the shipment just fine, notify Lotor that the package has been received, and start their return journey back to the colony.

On their way back through the Quantum abyss, something goes wrong. The same creatures that attack Keith and Krolia arrive and attack the cargo ship. The medics are armed and start opening fire on the creatures, but their hits don’t land, and they end up damaging the ship themselves. Between the creatures and the misfires, the ship is torn to pieces and the medics are either killed, or they ejected, only to be sucked into a gravity well and lost forever.

Given the nature of the Quantum Abyss, communication between one party inside the abyss and one party outside would be spotty at best, impossible at worst. And given his paranoia over keeping his plans secret from Haggar, it would be plausible that Lotor would order the medics to only contact him in the event of an emergency. Even after becoming emperor, Lotor assumes that the colony is still secure since the medics haven’t called to tell him that the secrecy of the Alteans has been compromised.

But then suddenly one of the Alteans from the Colony – worse, Bandor’s sister – arrives on the Castle of Lions, accusing him of murdering Alteans in cold blood, and he realizes that the medics are dead. That the shipment of Quintessence never made it to the Second Colony. That with the base running on minimal power there would have been no way for Keith and Krolia to access the computer files and verify what was really going on. That all they would have seen was an abandoned facility full of desiccated Alteans and assumed the worst.

TL;DR: The failure of the second colony happened sometime between Tailing a Comet and Code of Honor. The reason the facility was abandoned was because the medics had left to collect a shipment of the blue Quintessence only to be killed on their return journey by the same creatures which later attack Keith and Krolia.

He comes back down disoriented, sick to his stomach. The taste of bile sticks heavy to the roof of his mouth, and when he breathes in through his nose, the heady reek of the jungle clogs his nostrils: wet leaves, the pungent rot of fruit and vegetation, and underneath, the stink of fresh blood. Afritan sags to the ground, legs akimbo.

It felt like a lucid dream; like if he'd simply reacted against his body, then everything would have stopped. Gone away.

But he couldn't, and even now Mordremoth's call reverberates inside his skull. Dazed, Afritan looks around, assesses his surroundings. The jungle seems to come alive around him, vibrant, shuddering and heaving like the guts in a pig's belly. How far did he run from the helicopter? How far did he manage to get?

Overhead the sunlight pricks through the dense foliage, bathing the area in an odd subterranean glow. Afritan leans back, tips his head up and takes a deep breath; spreads his arms. Trying to anchor a point of orientation.

He bumps his hand into something solid, a mace.

His eyes snap wide open. The ground rushes up, and the sudden vertigo has him nauseous; he turns away, dry-heaving and coughing until his ribcage aches. It hurts, the gravity of what he's done.

They were gossiping about him around the campfire, the flames dancing across their faces. He was huddled underneath the helicopter tail, zoned out again. Their whispers didn't even reach him until the elder dragon's name came up. Afritan's body fell into motion. On its own accord.

A hush ran over the conversation when he walked up to them, like a candle snuffed out. His shadow stretched long and jagged over the overgrown underground, flickering in the firelight.

The human ranger was the only one who met his gaze head-on, smiling stiffly, a hand over his shortbow. But the asura engineer spoke up first.

"Ignore that walking brushwood already, Caleb. He's gotten weeds for brains since Mordremoth got to him. If he wasn't that much of a pushover I'd almost be afraid he'd stab us in the back, but I guess the little goody two-shoes in'em keeps the murderous intent at bay." Here she turned to regard Afritan with a sneer on her face. "I'm not afraid of you or your dra--"

Afritan snatched her off the ground, a fist snug around her throat, and jammed three fingers inside her mouth, prying her jaws open. His other squadmates clambered upright in alarm. With an air of polite curiosity, Afritan peered into the small cavern of her mouth.

Caleb tucked an arrow against his bow and aimed, but the burly charr crusader pushed his arms away. He could hit the engineer too from this angle.

Her eyes gleamed wet when he spread his fingers wider. He moved his hand from her neck and hooked two more fingers over her bottom row of teeth, holding her up just like that, short legs flailing a few feet above ground. A twitch of a smile flickered over his features.

Then, with a strength that couldn't have been his own, he pulled.

The corners of her mouth tore apart; blood sluicing down her front when Afritan snapped her jaw clean off. Her chin hung loosely down her throat, tongue lolling around uselessly. Afritan dropped the asura engineer like a ragdoll and stepped over her.

Caleb's face scrunched someway funny, a blotchy red, and he whipped his bow up again; the muscles in those pale arms straining, pulled taut. But the anger made him shake, nervous.

Before he could knock the arrow free, Afritan unsheathed his sword and ported to him. The symbol flared bright, blinding the crusader as well. He didn't bother to waste time on Caleb, simply shoved the blade up his gut and ran him through. His organs tumbled out. Caleb's expression slid away, mouth agape, brows twitching as his eyes flashed left to right, settled on Afritan's face.

Whatever Caleb murmured fell onto deaf ears.

Afritan grabs the mace and turns it over in his hand; obviously charr-made, slick with blood. Patches of fur and flesh stick to the sharpened metal edges. The charr crusader had slammed him to the ground after he'd killed Caleb, and they'd grappled for his blade with little finesse, just raw grit and a survivor's instinct. His body protesting under the charr's impressive bulk.

It's odd, but now that the adrenalin wore off he expected to be in more pain. The charr got a few punches in before Afritan nabbed the mace from his belt and bashed him over the head.

Maybe the perception of his own body got skewed.

He gingerly touches his right cheek, that the charr crusader scuffed hard with the back of his paw. The cold metal of his gauntlets scratching up the bark. There's the familiar sensation of touching his own skin, but his cheek doesn't hurt, almost like it healed up during the mad dash out of the makeshift camp.

That can't be right.

Afritan should have little cuts, marks, bruises blooming across his face.

The same uneasiness from before creeps up on him. His stomach gives this lazy lurch that makes him taste bitter gall on the back of his tongue. His eyes dart around, on edge. Afritan staggers upright on unsteady feet, holding the mace loosely in his hand.

The shifting shadows coalesce in between the low-hanging vines, dangling like links of barbed wire. Darker than dark.

Rage contorted the charr's maw into a fearsome snarl, a lot of bite. He backhanded Afritan, and a burst of pain whited out Afritan's vision for a moment, but it wasn't enough to snap him out of it. Too far removed from reality. The charr growled and wrapped his claws around Afritan's neck, shook him violently enough to concuss.

Breath chugging from his open muzzle, the charr yanked Afritan up by the collar and growled, "Not so smart now, huh?"

Afritan's gaze flashed from the charr's firebright eyes to the mace hooked onto his belt. It felt compulsive, the urge to smile. The charr's expression darkened, but he failed to watch Afritan's hands, fixated on that smug look instead, and once he realized his mistake, Afritan had already jammed the mace into his skull.

The sharpened edges dug into the bone so easily Afritan couldn't get it back out.

The charr pushed weakly at his arm, eyes wide and unblinking as Afritan tugged and pulled at the mace, without leeway. He braced a hand against the charr's broad chest as he cleaved the side of his cranium further open, see-sawing through bone like a curling wave; blood gushing over them both. The charr slumped sideways. Tumbled past the brink of consciousness, and Afritan bucked him off completely, then shuffled out from under the charr's hind legs.

His silhouette left behind in the flattened grass.

He stumbles onto the downtrodden dirt road, haphazard; the trees vaulting towards the open sky. There are tracks and pawprints criss-crossing the muddy ground, and Afritan crouches over a puddle, checking his reflection. The image's somewhat distorted. He looks harried; his eyes are manic, electric even. Pupils gobbled up by the yellow of his irises. Afritan turns his head to examine his cheek.

It's unblemished. The skin there looks new and pale; little dots littered across his cheekbones, and ripe like thorns threatening to stud out the stalk of a rose.

Thoughts race around his head. Afritan shakily stands upright and peers around, worrying for predators in the bushes, the trees; the agoraphobia that grips him both so unexpected and so confining his breath stutters inside his windpipe. There's no other decision he can take, Afritan decides as he teeters away from the puddle, almost tripping up: he's gotta fess up and turn himself in at the nearest Pact camp. It's the right thing to do, the only thing to do.

Afritan planted his foot against the charr's left horn, curved like a ram's, and gripped the handle of the mace with both hands. Pulling hard.

From what he remembers of the transmissions before their helicopter crashed, there was talk of a camp being set up northwest of the basin. Afritan peers around, tracks the sun across the sky. His mind's fogging out again as the dragon's call grows louder. No. No no no no no.

Antsy, he takes a step forward. Then another one.

The asura engineer tried to claw her way to the helicopter; the sound of her knees dragging over the ground almost inaudible. Afritan threw a glance at her from over his shoulder. He pushed his foot furter down on the charr's horn, and with a sickening squelch managed to wrench the mace loose. A feeble spray of blood squirted out.

He sauntered over to the asura, mindful of Caleb's guts all over the grass, and she sped up when she noticed him approach. Both trapped in the helicopter's shadow. The sunlight burnished the window glass a molten white. Everything reeked of gore. Afritan threw the mace up in the air and caught it one-handedly again.

When the engineer was in range, Afritan swung the mace in a wide arch and smashed her skull. He surveyed his handiwork until the dragon's call abated, and blind panic forced him to run.

His feet guide him south.

It's ironic that the first thing Mordremoth takes from him is his speech: a layer of gristly bark scabbed over his mouth, like the collar of a turtleneck sweater pulled up to the nose. Who said I wanna hear you talk, a cruel voice echoes when Afritan touches skittish fingertips to the skin, over and over again, in the rare moments he's in full control of his faculties, peeling and pulling until his lips turn raw and bloody. It doesn't matter; the bark always grows back.

Mordremoth didn't just stake his claim. Mordremoth conquered him, locked his maw around him and took him away like the ocean would swallow a ship, callous and whole. His teeth sunk in deep.

His tangle of thorns grows out next, spilling past his shoulder down to his ribs, too long to pull back in a sideways bun. Barbs jut out the curve of his cheekbones. His proportions are off; he’s become taller and buffer under the dragon's influence, huskier. Packing enough muscle to split a norn's skull with his bare hands. Afritan knows; Mordremoth made him. Blood crusting under his fingernails as he dragged the corpse to the gooey green blister of a blighting pod.

It's easier not to think anymore, Afritan finds.

Because there's no escape. Even his mind has shifted into uncharted territory, wild and twisted like Maguuma, closing in. The Morwood Wilds breathe around him, restless, ravenous; the lush yellows and greens sustained by crunched bone and blood. He lifts his chin, absentmindedly watching the blighted sapling drill into the pod.

Ley-line magic whizzes around the squiggly tendril, iridescent; bright against the gray, gnarly bark of the blighting tree. Afritan catches a glimpse of himself, reflected in the trembling light. Pale-faced, his skin no longer the color of the sea, but a washed-out, grizzled version; his eyes are too vivid in contrast, and his pupils...

His pupils are still gone.

He blinks, owlish. They don't return, and panic snaps him into action, clawing up his throat as he slips between two mordrem husks, away, out, into the open space beyond the trees. Afritan's breathing haggardly through his nose, snatching in lungfuls of air. Instinctively he tears at the scab of bark over his mouth. Tears falling from his emptied-out eyes, until his vision swims in a low tide of white-red and the world slides away.

But not for long.

His eardrum splits and strains under the dragon's call. This is all you're good for.

It's easier not to think about it.

There was a mordrem wolf greedily stripping the slimy flesh off a bloated hylek corpse when he came across Jawatl Grounds. It seemed wholly indifferent to Afritan's presence.

Afritan skulks through the dimly-lit passage of Chak Hollow. The branches overhead look like dead hands, black against the eerie blue light. Moss clutters every surface: wet and soft and squelchy underfoot. He pushes deeper, eastwards. The air's acrid here, thick and cloying; Afritan has no choice but to soak it all up through his nose.

Something big lurks beyond his field of sight, and Afritan can feel the tremor of its steps as it nears.

He's being watched.

Nevertheless his body remains relaxed; his fight or flight reflex subdued as he waits for whatever stalking him to come out of the woodworks. His subconscious--and here things get tricky, because Afritan doesn't feel like the conscious part of his brain anymore-- doesn't register it as a threat. He peers into the darkness, dead still.

A clawed black hand slams down on a tree trunk, the sound curt and loud, like a kick to the ribs. It, mordrem, pushed further into the open. The wood groans under its-- his raw strength.

He's huge; angular. All sharp edges. There's bark jutting out around his collarbone like a pair of stunted wings, flaring from his thighs and knees. Afritan doesn't know how many inches he's gained since he's traversed Maguuma, but the mordrem still towers over him. Seems to be the kind you'd need to team up for to take down. The mordrem angles his head down to look at Afritan, and Afritan meets his gaze straight on.

Cruel intellect flashes in those hollowed-out eyes.

Afritan should feel the absence of terror unnerving, but there isn't a lot of feel in his body anyway, not anymore.

The mordrem fills up the small clearing with his daunting presence alone; their surroundings fitting snugly in his negative space. His glow, a forest fire red, seems to bleed from the cracks in his skin, especially around his middle. It fogs into the air around them. He carries a gigantic greatsword, crafted in the norn style, and Afritan wonders if the mordrem nicked it from a former squadmate too, like Afritan took the charr's mace.

"Where others failed, we will succeed. We will hunt, replant. Grow and grow," the mordrem murmurs, a polyvocal gurgle. Whatever personality his voice once conveyed as a sylvari got overrun by the dragon's corruption.

He jerks his chin into the direction of the shadows where he came from and gives Afritan berth. The implication clear-cut.

The trees are veined with vines, and beyond them, there seems to be nothing but a cool, palpable darkness. A few cobwebs shimmer wetly in the faint light. Afritan nods at the mordrem and walks on ahead, pushes through the spider thread and the low-hanging twigs. He can hear that massive body shift, move; following closely behind as he breaches into Tangled Depths.

They hunt together, haunt the underground passages where the incessant clicking and scuttling of chak remains a constant noise on the backdrop. Their senses stripped down to the smells of fresh earth and fresh blood; chthonic.

Sometimes the other mordrem comments on the caverns gaping wide and high around them, or on the wildlife, or the ogres fortifying their camp on the outskirts of the Great Tree, ever-watching and ever-vigilant. The garbled sound of his voice subdued in the acoustics of the rock walls arching above their heads. They kill those that draw near the entrance, sinking their weapons in meaty bellies and bulging guts.

The mordrem Afritan pairs up with doesn't like the others encroaching on the two of them, and he makes them break away from the Great Tree together.

Mordremoth’s call quiets down to a hush as they eventually roam deeper. It's a gradual process, but Afritan notices he’s less of a passenger to the dragon’s breath down here, deliberately touching the tips of his fingers to the solid stone around them, just to marvel at the sensation. Satisfaction curls in his belly at this small act of defiance.

But the other mordrem seems unaffected by the distance to the surface. His heavy shadow shivers against the ground with every footfall, like a wounded animal.

The tunnel branches off in elevations and coves; the hum of the ley-lines overhead surging louder as they approach the crossroads. The other mordrem jerks his chin towards the pathway branching off towards the depths. Afritan feels obliged to follow; afraid that if the other mordrem even suspects Afritan to be in control of his own faculties, he'd turn on him in a split-second.

Columns of pale light slant over the asuran alarm installations. There's the slow traffic of dust motes in the blue laserbeams of the sensors; the blocky devices rotating in a vertical pattern. It's cool this far down, but the air's clogged with rust and the smell of stagnant water.

"This is nothing. We will not be stopped," the other mordrem comments lowly, dipping his head and leaning in closer.

Afritan barely reaches to his shoulders, but he can feel the other's hot breath fanning the shell of his ear, and shivers involuntarily. His nerves are high-strung.

The passageway to Rata Novus yawns in front of them, riddled with security systems and motion-detection devices. They would navigate the tunnel from camera to camera. Smash them all to bits. The other mordrem brandishes his broadsword, gripping the hilt with both hands, and moves towards the grid of the first motion sensor.

His glow emphasizes the monstrous proportions of his body.

"--systems that way, agent?"

The other mordrem lowers his blade at the words echoing from across the passageway; his posture tense, eyes narrowed to hollowed-out slits. Afritan snaps his head up in the direction of that familiar voice. His blood runs cold.

"--over here, Commander."

Commander? The Commander? They're here? Afritan chances a look at the other mordrem from the corner of his eye. He’s downright predatory; angling his greatsword to the side as he bunkers down in a position to race off, feet spread apart, shoulders hunched low. Fear skitters down Afritan’s spine at the sight.

“--impressive! Zinn must’ve--”

The echo recedes, fanning the stone ceiling of the underground tunnel like a gentle caress. The Commander must be walking away from them, Afritan rationalises, and the relief floods his system like a drug. The other mordrem growls, a feral sound. He’s come to the same conclusion, but doesn’t seem to share Afritan’s willingness to let the Commander go unscathed.

Afritan lunges before the other mordrem can, wholly instinctive, slamming into that solid wall of bark and muscle without a sense of self-preservation.

The other mordrem backtracks a step or two, feet skidding over the stone underground. His greatsword falls from his hands, a dull-sounding clatter reverberates around them.

"--was that?!"

No. No, don’t come any closer, Afritan mouths against the scab of bark over his lips, but his voice can’t reach through, and he doesn’t catch the other mordrem’s movement. He fists Afritan’s tangle of thorns and wrenches his head to the side, showing the curve of his neck; cheek to shoulder. They push back into the pale light, exposed. Something flickers over his features, a bone-cold anger, and he brushes one of those massive hands over Afritan’s face, deceptively coy, subdued, until his fingers curl around the Afritan’s ear.

“You must succumb,” the other mordrem mumbles softly, tightening his grip, pressing his fingertips in the sensitive wood-skin of Afritan’s ear. “You must.”

Afritan tries to control his breathing, but a wave of black dread washes over him when the pressure on his ear intensifies, and his nostrils flare wide. Then the other mordrem simply rips his ear off. The effect’s instantaneous: pain ripples throughout his whole body. His screams break apart against the scab of bark. Afritan can feel sap oozing from the hole where his ear was supposed to be. He goes into panic mode and headbutts the other mordrem in the face.

Yellowish sap dribbles down the other mordrem's nose, but he remains nonplussed, sweeps a broad tongue over his mouth and grins. Afritan keeps up the struggle, wildly shoving and kicking, but it’s like pushing at a brick shithouse; no leeway.

The other mordrem huffs and uncaringly flicks Afritan’s bloodied ear away. Then hauls Afritan away by the thorns and callously throws him to the ground.

“--stems would’ve gone off--”

“--probably nothing.”

nothing. nothing. nothing.

His ribs rattle in his chest; sounds of different frequencies funnel into what’s left of his ear. His body feels like a wound, raw and fresh and aching all over. He blinks, and the other mordrem descends upon him. Those hollowed-out eyes flashpoint, simmering a bright orange against the bristly black of his skull. Afritan tries to get his arms between them, but the other mordrem pins both wrists above his head with one hand. Wedges a knee between Afritan’s thighs.

“You think too much,” the other mordrem murmurs, sounding too much like the sylvari he must’ve been. Afritan whimpers horrified, eyes wide. But Mordremoth warps his voice again when he says, “You have to stop thinking.”

If he disassociates now, slinks back into that seedy corner at the back of his mind where the pain can't touch him, Mordremoth will creep back in, and the Commander might die.

And they're the only one who can stand before the dragon and live.

Afritan regards the other mordrem from between coils of thorns, focusing on the sensory overload and the horror and the blood clotting around the torn flesh of what remains of his ear to keep level-headed. Pain keeps his mind sharp. The other mordrem tilts his head curiously at the open defiance, bristles. Backlit, the mordrem becomes nothing more than a huge, hulking shadow. He nestles a fist around Afritan's throat.

"Return to me," the mordrem, or Mordremoth?-- hisses and squeezes hard.

But Afritan can't, won't. He trashes and bucks under all that bulk, flailing helplessly as his oxygen supply gets cut off. Frantically shaking his head. Spots dance at the edge of his vision. The other mordrem growls again and digs the pinpricks of claws into his flesh. Afritan keeps mouthing words against the scab of bark, no and please stop, soundless pleas.

His gaze darts across the other mordrem's face, back to the far end of the passageway, back to his face.

It's a gamble. Afritan clamps the other mordrem's knee between his thighs and grinds down. It feels like his head's stuffed full of cotton, but Afritan forces himself to press a hand to the back of the other mordrem's neck, and guides the mordrem's face to the crook of his neck.

All Afritan needs to do is forget how fucked up this is and keep moving.

The other mordrem doesn't ease up on his throat; the stone ceiling flickers black. His nose is packed full with the stink of his own blood. Curling his fingers at the nape of the mordrem's head, Afritan grinds down even harder.

It doesn't matter if the other mordrem kills him, Afritan thinks fuzzily. As long as the Commander lives, it's okay.

Afritan will have been enough.

Getting ready for Mars – on the Space Station From disrupted biological clocks to radiation and contamination hazards, Europe is running experiments on the International Space Station to take human exploration one step closer to Mars. As a new week starts on planet Earth, continuous research in orbit brings new knowledge about the challenges of making a trip to the Red Planet a reality. Martian rhythm A crew on a journey to Mars would live outside of the 24-hour cycle of light and darkness we experience on Earth. So do astronauts on the Space Station who experience 16 sunrises and sunsets every day. Scientists believe that such disruption has an impact on the astronauts’ biological clock. To see how long-duration spaceflight affects people, NASA astronaut Anne McClain wore two sensors – one on the forehead and another one on the chest – for 36 hours as part of the Circadian Rhythms experiment. For the fifth and last time during her mission, Anne’s core body temperature and melatonin levels were monitored. Results will be compared to those taken on Earth before and after her mission to understand the effects and how to counteract them during deep space missions. Strategies for adapting – or not – to new rhythms could shed light on sleep disorders and help people on Earth that live outside of the natural cycle, staying up late or working night shifts. The pass of time could also be an issue for a trip to Mars that would last over 500 days. Recent research shows that astronauts underestimate time in orbit, just as they have an altered perception of distance in space. Canadian Space Agency astronaut David Saint-Jacques and NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nick Hague gauged how long a visual target appears on a laptop screen and their reaction times to these prompts recorded to process speed and attention. This was all part of the Time experiment, a relevant research because a misperception of time may cause delayed reactions and create risks for crew safety. Oxidative Mars Space takes its toll on the human body. An interplanetary mission to Mars will see astronauts ageing faster. The International Space Station provides a unique opportunity to both reproduce the effects of ageing and study the huge oxidative impact. The European Nano Antioxidants experiment is seeking innovative antioxidants to stimulate cells in the battle against muscle loss. Living cells and ceramic particles were placed in the Kubik incubator for six days, housed in ESA’s Columbus module. Half of the samples were kept at close to zero gravity, while the rest were exposed to the same gravity as Earth. The cells are now frozen at –80°C and waiting for their ride home on 3 June aboard the SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft. Findings from this research could aid the development of new supplements to support astronauts on missions to Mars. As soon as humans leave the protective shield that is Earth’s atmosphere, space radiation becomes a serious concern, especially if headed to Mars. Radiation levels in space are up to 15 times higher than on Earth. The Dosis-3D experiment helps understand space radiation and how it penetrates the Space Station walls. Eleven radiation detectors attached to the walls of Columbus record how much radiation gets through and help create a complete picture of space radiation inside the Station. The latest data downlink on 21 May marked seven years of continuous measurements in space for Dosis-3D. Resistant materials for the interplanetary journey Radiation also has an impact on hardware. The ICE Cubes facility is ESA’s faster, lower cost answer to making science happen in space. One of the “cubes” – small modular containers slotted in the Columbus lab – is investigating commercial computer boards’ resistance to space radiation. Bacteria and fungi can become a threat for both human health and equipment as they tend to build up in the constantly-recycled atmosphere of the International Space Station. European researchers are addressing this contamination with the Matiss-2 experiment. This study aims to find better materials to build a space station or spacecraft, especially important on our way to Mars. Scientists will analyse the materials to see how the bacteria formed biofilms that protect them from cleaning agents and also help them adhere to surfaces. This week David Saint-Jacques packed the seventh sample holder with anti-microbial surfaces to be shipped back to Earth for analysis.

Six reasons atheism is dead wrong

I. The universe had a beginning.

Atheists believe that the universe is eternal. We see from Edwin Hubble’s work at the Palomar Observatory (on Mt. Wilson near Los Angeles) that the universe is expanding. This expansion is confirmed through observation of the “red shift.” In physics (especially astrophysics) redshift happens when light seen coming from an object that is moving away is proportionally increased in wavelength, or shifted to the red end of the spectrum. Albert Einstein traveled to see Hubble’s work and famously said “I now see the necessity of a beginning.” Since the universe is expanding, it follows that reversing the expansion would ultimately lead to a contraction or what physicists call “the singularity” known as the beginning of the universe. The Kalam Cosmological argument (widely accepted in professional philosophy and logic communities) states that:

Everything that began to exist, has a cause.

The universe began to exist.

Therefore, the universe has a cause.

Time and space came into existence at the singularity. Since there was a cause to bring the universe into existence, it has to be a cause that is outside of time and space. As a result, the cause is both immaterial and transcendent. This is God.

II. A life-permitting universe requires that cosmology and physics are exactly tuned to support life.

This concept is called “the Anthropic Principle.” We currently understand that there are about 35 parameters that are perfectly harmonized to support life on our planet. These parameters must all be set within a very narrow range to support life. The probability of these 35 attributes being set at the correctly to support life is less than 1 in 1040 equating to essentially zero probability. Some examples of these parameters include:

The unique properties of water

Earth’s atmosphere (nitrogen, oxygen, and small amounts of other gases)

Earth’s reflectivity or “albedo”

Earth’s magnetic field

Earth’s place in the solar system

Our solar system’s place in the galaxy

The color of our sun

The force of gravity

The density of matter must equal the critical density needed to prevent the Big Crunch

The earth must be angled in its orbit perfectly to prevent temperature extremes.

Our moon must be its exact size to support the earth’s orbit.

The rate of universe expansion (cosmological constant).

This fine tuning requires a fine tuner. This is God.

III. The origin of life did not arise by chance.

There are 20 individual amino acids that are used in building proteins. Most proteins have a combination of approximately 450 amino acids. There are about 600 proteins in the most elementary cell. There are a total of about 30,000 proteins.

Darwin thought the cell was a globule and did not understand cell complexity. If you calculate the probability of individual amino acids combining to form one protein you would multiply (since sequence matters) 1/20 x 1/20 x 1/20 (for each protein) all the way out to 450 amino acids (an average protein length) equating to a probability of essentially zero. A protein that is 150 amino acids in length has a chance probability of 1 in 10145. There is zero probability that the origin of life came about by chance. When one adds the additional complexity of DNA (which goes beyond the complexity of amino acid formation), we must further reduce the probability of chance creating life. Dr. Francis Crick, Nobel Laureate and co-discoverer of DNA, acknowledged that chance played no role in creating DNA.[5] He was a philosophical atheist so he supported the idea of Panspermia (that life originated elsewhere in the universe and was transported through interstellar systems by some unknown space aliens.) Scientists agree that chance alone using matter alone has a zero probability of explaining life. The sequence hypothesis (DNA nucleotides) confirms this.

The origin of life requires both design and an animating force based on biogenesis. This force is God.

IV. The origin of information did not arise by chance.

Information is the immaterial foundation of all biological life yet it requires material to transmit through. Information requires an intelligent source. We saw this in the formation of proteins and DNA. How much does information weigh? It is a nonsensical question because information has zero weight since it has no physical properties. Highly intelligent people Don’t weigh more than others because they have more information. According to information scientist Dr. Werner Gitt, DNA is billions of times more densely packed information than is our most sophisticated technology. Darwin was ignorant about information coding. Neo-Darwinists believe that natural selection and mutation explain the advancement of new species. However, a new species requires new information. Mutations by definition are the loss of original information, not the creation of new information. Microevolution has existed for centuries (adaptation within a species, a.k.a. “breeding”). Macroevolution, one species creating a new life form, is without example in the fossil record (the Cambrian explosion showed a sudden appearance of all current life forms without transitional forms.) Darwin tried to use microevolution to explain macroevolution. His philosophical descendants today try the same trick. This deception is widely perpetrated throughout the American education system.

Information, by definition, requires a transmitter or source. There are 1080 elementary particles (electrons, etc.) in the known universe. The oldest estimate of the age of the earth is 1016 seconds[6], thereby creating 1043 number of particle interaction possibilities or 10139 maximum event probabilities in the history of the universe.

The intelligence behind the information that created the enormous but finite universe, the 30,000 proteins, the complexity and wonder of DNA, and life itself is called God. There is no naturalistic/materialist explanation that can fit within the event horizon of probabilities. Information requires intelligence. This intelligence is God.

V. Morality did not evolve physiologically by chemical or biological evolution. Morality requires a transcendent measure.

Atheists pretend that God does not exist by using the intellectual arguments of science while the root cause of their opposition to confessing God’s existence is moral. By pretending that God doesn’t exist, the atheist deludes himself into thinking that he is not morally accountable to the God that created him. Evolutionary ethicists state that there is no free will; we are the products of time and chance. There is no concept of right or wrong or ought in DNA. If our morality is evolved, who can say that torturing children for fun is wrong? Who can say that the Nazis were wrong in killing Jews? Evolutionists must say they are just doing what their genes programmed them to do. If evolutionary ethics were true, how do you explain acts of courage, valor, and sacrifice that appear noble but would not lead to reproduction (they die in battle for example.) If evolutionary ethics and morality were true, the biggest, strongest, and smartest would do anything to advance their cause. This has happened occasionally with horrors such as eugenics, Nazi Germany, and other examples of genocide, etc. If everyone chose their own morality, there would be chaos and evil rampant with no punishment and no justice. Necessary conditions for moral objectives are:

A transcendent standard of measurement

A human free will or freedom to choose

The belief that humans have intrinsic, not instrumental, value

Moral evolutionist/relativists can not ascribe right or wrong or the word “ought.” They can’t complain about justice or evil. Everybody would do just what their genes programmed them to do, based upon chemistry and evolution. The contrasting reality is that humans are free will creatures who recognize moral right and wrong and therefore are free to choose beyond their genetic endowment. This is clearly indicated in the economic and social mobility of classes and individuals who operate as moral agents. This moral awareness comes from God.

VI. The life, death, resurrection, and fulfillment of prophecy by Jesus of Nazareth requires theism.

The life and impact of Jesus is corroborated through the eyewitness testimony contained in the Bible. The biblical manuscript evidence attests to its authenticity. Extra-biblical sources, e.g., Tacitus, Thallus, Pliny the Younger, Suetonious, Phlegon, Lucian, and Josephus are just a few examples of those that wrote of the historical veracity of Jesus’ existence. The evidence for the crucifixion, the empty tomb, the post-resurrection appearances, and the transformation of the early church all best explain the circumstances surrounding the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Finally, there are approximately 100 prophecies in the Old Testament that relate to the first coming of Jesus. Mathematics professor Peter Stoner, author of Science Speaks, assembled other mathematicians to calculate the probability of one man fulfilling 48 of the 100 Old Testament prophecies. The resulting probability was estimated at 1 in 10157[8] This miraculous fulfillment is from God.

Conclusion The cumulative weight of evidence from cosmology, physics, biology, information science, ethics, and fulfillment of prophecy clearly establishes that God is the best explanation as the creator of the universe, of life, of information, of morality, and as the one who transcends time and space, thereby fulfilling prophecy without error.

Violent Shift

At 10am & 11pm the place violently shakes and is ejected from physical space for 5 minutes. Then, it’s returned to a new location.

History

Founded as a mining outpost by Claddach Craig LLC. to pull precious metals and other minerals, things changed when the Claddach ruins were discovered. It’s unknown if something was done to activate the ruins or if simply opening the ruins led to the problems but shortly after discovery, the asteroid performed it’s first Shift.

Interest was high among Claddach Craig because they owned the exclusive rights to the asteroid and had hoped to find an artifact or something causing the shifts. What they seemed to have found was gruesome death. After suffering many losses of personnel to the ruin and being unable to reliably transport supplies, the company dissolved it’s holdings and sold them to Lazarus Archeology Inc.

Lazarus Archeology sent several teams of contractors to map the ruin and thus have full claim but most of them faced gruesome death. Interest would wane on the asteroid as it was decided as simply not worth the expense of upkeep. Eventually, it was abandoned.

A few of the employees of the various companies, along with those who had set up businesses to support their efforts chose to stay behind. They’d grown used to the shifts and admired the level of freedom that they could have on the asteroid. It came to be called Maeg Mell (plain of joy). New materials were mostly acquired through the use of leftover mining equipment, salvage operations, and small scale transport.

Going Home

Those who had been through several of the shifts discovered a new, strange property of Maeg Mell; they had an innate sense for where it would appear next. Something about the asteroid resonated with those who stayed in such a way that even when they left, if they waited long enough they would begin to “feel” where the asteroid “should be.”

This meant that those who lived on the asteroid could leave and return with very little issue but it limited how much one could move to or from the asteroid. If a resident stayed away from Maeg Mell for too long, they would find that they could no longer feel where it should be.

In this way, the people of Maeg Mell were cut off from the wider Elysee but were also pulled tighter toward each other.

A Cultural Blender

The level of closeness, combined with the anarchic nature of Maeg Mell meant that issues of folk, cultural clashes and the like were minimal at best. Romances between the races and even half-breed children, while still exceedingly rare, aren’t seen as quite so anomalous here. What kind of folk you are (your race) is of such reduced importance that those who venture out are often struck by the strangeness of the divisions beyond.

That isn’t to say that there are no differences here or that culture means nothing. Olephemi have left a large and noticeable imprint on the local culture. The names of places, many people’s accents and even beliefs can easily be traced back to the Olephem people. That Said, Zephran people have managed to make a heavy mark as well. Their beliefs have interwoven with the Olephem into a syncretic system that is practiced widely. The other folk have made their own mark in more subtle ways. Deimos’ rugged self-reliance is greatly respected and encouraged. The phrase “get your horns in” is in the common vernacular, meaning to work with great effort. This is said casually to anyone, even Pacmasino.

Getting Around

A tram runs in a circuit from each general hub of the settlement. The tram is often slow or even out of order, due to needing constant repairs and lack of resources. A series of elevators carries folk up and down among the different hubs. Within the hubs themselves, it’s common to build pulley lifts to be able to move through the structures better. It is possible to charter a rickshaw to get around with a little more style but, most residents don’t bother.

Portside

There is a huge opening leading to the main hangar. This is where you can buy and sell ships, parts and hire mechanics who can make a ship flight-worthy using nothing but a welder and old cans.

Tenma Rasheed Human who runs a “restaurant” of questionable means called the “Greasepit.” The “food” that they serve is largely organic.

Kae Westaal Daughter of the legendary Zephran engineer Erasmus Westaal. Kae has quickly made a name for herself as the best engineer in Maeg Mell.

The Sunken Market

A cavernous, excavated section of the asteroid made of cut up cargo holds. Long ago, there was a massive leak that flooded most of the area. The lower part is made up of salvaged rafts, parts of starships, and other floating structures. All around the section are residential structures made up of modified shipping containers. Lifts made up of ropes and pulleys allow residents to get to the maze of walkways on the higher levels.

Ragnar One-eye Loud, friendly and boisterous owner of the arena that hosts a weekly “Bloodsport.” Ragnar lost his eye in a battle to prevent the UPU from establishing a hold in Maeg Mell. Ragnar stands against D’arnel but can’t move against him because D’arnel will murder him. At the same time, Ragnar is too popular and knows too many people to be killed without provocation.

Velo the Lion Legendary treasure hunter and one of the few who have spent time in the ruins and survived. Velo sells various scrap and materials that he’s acquired over the years. He settled in Maeg Mell because he truly believes in the place. Current events have left him deeply saddened.

Zakariah ibn Nakra “Ibn Nakra” means child of ‘zero.’ He takes that to mean that he is a child of no one. Zakariah is a firm believer in the mystery cult that D’arnel has built up around himself. He will turn in and screw over anyone.

Nagrindr

The original mining facility, run by Claddach Craig LLC. Nagrindr means “gates of the dead'' and is the only way of getting into the ruins. It’s also a fortress for D’arnel’s cult of personality, the Sluagh.

D’arnel ibn Nakra “Returned” leader of the Sluagh, ruthless pirate, thug, and Force Touched. D’arnel is brutal and has taken over with an iron fist. Anyone who openly opposes D’arnel is publicly executed.

Ameenah ibn Nakra Zephran returned as a follower of D’arnel. She is the “priestess” of sorts for the Sluagh.

Tyrell ibn Nakra Tyrell is the “secret police” of sorts.

Dimensional Shifts

At a regular period, the whole place shakes violently and shifts. Either the rooms shuffle, gravity changes direction or time shifts. This is represented by 4 tables with 6 different aspects each. The dungeon is actually a search for the 4 “Manifold Keys.” These keys are basically the control system to the entire place. Each key fits into the other keys like a 4 dimensional puzzle.

Once a key is found, that table becomes under the control of the party. Once all keys are in the party’s possession, “Room Zero” is able to be reached. The room collapses into the keys (the entire ruin is the manifold keys) and the players must battle the ruin itself in order to claim mastery of it. After that, they are now able to manipulate where Maeg Mell shifts to.

Never has the hold of states over the economy been so strong

From the first confinement to the second, passing through all the intermediate stages, the French have been able to see to what extent the decisions taken by the executive power to try to slow the spread of Covid-19 limit their freedoms. Picture a mountain - as you approach you have to walk up steeper and steeper inclines until they become vertical. Those steeper inclines, combined with reverse thrust to your IFRD, will decrease your speed to acceptable velocities for atmospheric entry.

This brings us to the third thing you must always remember, Raizen.

Some stellar objects are extremely massive but project their gravitational field within a very limited distance. This isn’t a mountain, it’s a pillar. We call the final point of no return the exclusion zone, found around smaller black holes, white dwarfs, and neutron stars, where you enter their gravitational field. There is no incline. There is no loss of velocity. To purge your IFRD drive within the exclusion zone....

You’re asleep, Raizen, when I was telling you how ships stop. This is the one thing that could have saved you. I have neither empathy nor interest in what you have done. Your ship will stop regardless. Wake up. WAKE UP.

Six months later, Raizen wakes up. It’s like turning the light on in a long-abandoned room. He stares at the biometric indicators inside his medical tube without comprehension. Parts of him feel new, like while he was sleeping he was replaced piece by piece. Wasn’t that the old parable? He thinks, a ship whose every plank was removed and rebuilt would either be an entirely new ship or the same ship as before.

Ceta perfunctorily appears in the small field of view afforded Raizen through the frosted glass of his medical life-support tube. The android sparks a recognition in Raizen too large to process.

Raizen is sleeping again.

He wakes up three months later. He is sitting in the bridge of his ship. His ship. The recognition is still too large to be captured in a chain of association. The thought makes his head hurt.

A small boy is sitting in front of Raizen with an intent expression. His eyes meet Raizen’s and do not waver, the boy’s fingers remain placid on its lap and no nervous tic in his expression. Its lap? It?

“You’re... not human,” Raizen speaks. The effort exhausts him.

“My name is Ceta,” the boy says. The chain of association is dragging Raizen somewhere terrible. A place of unexplored fire and pain. Raizen wants to sleep very badly, somewhere else, a place where there’s only one other face and it’s not this boy’s but another one he met. Somewhere, in some other place.

“My name is Ceta,” the boy continues. “I am the Chief Steward and Administrator of this ship - your ship - and an android bound under limited Ruati-level intelligence.”

“Sounds... pr... pretty smart,” Raizen manages to squeak out.

“You have died seven times. Your first mate, Reyna, died four -”

Raizen is sleeping. Raizen wakes up like a light has been turned on. He is in his personal quarters sitting in a chair and looking at a picture taken from a surveillance camera within the cargo-hold of a Void-Toucher class vessel. It is of a boy around Raizen’s own age (Raizen now feels the chain again) standing in the dark cargo hold aside a container and staring towards the infrared light of a camera he can’t possibly see. The boy is dirty but proud. His shoulders are thrown back in defiance as the half-pried open cargo container lays behind him. The camera has been enhanced and filtered for low-light conditions and is set in an ornate frame on Raizen’s bedside table.

Oh, Raizen thinks. This is my bed.

Oh, Raizen thinks. Oh, no.

Ceta raises his heel and stamps it on the floor with an abrupt click. Raizen flinches and turns his chair with slow, clumsy pushes.

“I am Ceta, Chief Steward and Administrator of this ship - your ship - and an android bound under limited Ruati-level intelligence.”

“Hello... Ceta.”

“You have died eight times. Your first mate, Reyna, died six times. All causes of death were related to catastrophic exposure to gamma radiation following sequence change by a local stellar object.”

Raizen nods.

“Good. This iteration of your consciousness is the most stable I can currently provide.”

“It... er... ay... shun.”

“Your name is Raizen.”

“Raizen.”

“Good.”

They sit in silence for a while.

“This is my... bed?” Raizen asks.

“Yes, you are the acting commander of this vessel.”

“Commander.”

“Yes, sir. Sir, I apologize for not properly addressing you, sir.”

Reflexively, Raizen salutes. Ceta responds and does not move its fingers from its temple until Raizen has again collapsed into his chair.

Ceta speaks. “Sir, at this point it is appropriate for me to ask you if you have any questions.”

I am Raizen. Ceta is an android. Reyna is my first lieutenant.

“Why am I here?” Raizen asks.

“Simulation of all possible... recovery methods for your memory, after multiple attempts, lead me to believe certain emotional praxes would trigger limbic memory of your identity and command position. This is the fourth viable attempt to recover your identity.”

Raizen is feeling the leather of his chair’s armrest under his finger. Its raised patterns, its surface both hard and immediately soft when held in his palm like something he had touched before. With torturous slowness, Raizen kicks against the floor until he faces again the holograph of the strange boy that broke into a cargo container on his ship.

The room around is in low-light. Barely audible florescent bulbs hum in the air, recycled oxygen wheezes through thin vents on the wall. Raizen relaxes and the chain tightens in long circles around him.

There is the portrait of my mother, taken while I stood behind its author. He told her to smile at me while he worked. I wish I had smiled more back at her. How bored I must have looked.

There is OUR portrait. I was only fourteen when it was taken. My hair - my God how embarrassing. My father is like an example of me. I had joined the Consortium Academy that year. If I look long enough, maybe I can see pride in his eyes.

There is the photograph of the him. The boy that smuggled himself, more precious than any drug.

“Who is... this?” Raizen asks. The boy is looking at him. Not at the camera. The boy is staring at Raizen even when he stands in the middle of that long and hollow darkness in a neglected cargo hold.

“Sion,” Ceta replies.

The chains hone in and suffocate Raizen, who simply stares at the portrait of Sion until Ceta, having observed Raizen’s mindstate through ship telemetry, excuses himself.

One years, four months, two days, and three hours previously, Raizen had ordered an inertial drive pulse into the exclusion field of a neutron star and had - for the second time since Ceta’s creation - overridden all safety measures and collapsed the ship’s inertial field.

Under all galactic standard experiential data, this would immediately begin the sequence change of the neutron star. Which it did.

Under all galactic standard experiential data, the third override provided by COMMANDER RAIZEN to activate the IFRD while operational capacity was below 4% would have constituted a void event. One in which the Higgs Field non-interacting particles were nearly certain to breach their magnetic field and flow freely inside the limited volume of the ship, sever all connection to this material reality and neatly distribute the ship’s mass among quantum sized debris across the overarching local superstring.

This had also succeeded and the ship now, bearing Ceta, continued to exist in this reality. Ceta pauses and parses a few trillion simulations.

The effort is useless, Ceta concedes. These same calculations had already been done and their course of action decided by local approaching agent 81 Waves Folded.

Rather than continue in useless exercise, Ceta stretches his arms behind his back, simulates the crack of a Homo Sapiens spine, and sends a direct needle-cast to the Ship Mind.

The Sins of the World, A Man and a Cross. How? Two Things

Now, this Messianic secret starts with the two elements I mentioned, which make up the entire image of the Cross: at its bare minimum, stripped of identity and context, a vertical piece of wood, and a man hanging on it.

As I implied before, we start with this by asking about the function of Jesus’s symbolic method: if this is the core, the central and vital symbol of the Christian message, and if Christianity has become a Holy or an evil organization, would we expect this one to reveal it? Yes, we would. Because it is of such value, this would represent a means of protecting the message from being pointedly attacked and lost to those who are always in the world looking for it represents a specific understanding of how redemption works.

I want to speak first on this nature of biblical symbolism as well its means of protection before this man and Cross represents a fundamental specific understanding of God’s mind. If the formal container of the meaning of the Cross is revelational, and this is invaluable, just as something about it which makes it as powerful revealed as powerful concealed, in the following way.

If a plan is said ordained by God, it not only illogical but blasphemous to assume this depiction of Christ on the Cross is different, or any less revelatory, than its meaning. The attachment of meaning is not gratuitous but as an irresistible consequence of the image. The image in its primary function is for easy access to a precise meaning, which is God’s plan, but only within some mind with as unhypocritical a motive to see it as God’s motive is in preserving it from others.

This is why the message of the Cross is primarily one about the nature of morality because the whole display of the Cross is a spiritual movement to expose spiritual reality, not a physical movement for physical reality. If moral movement is spiritual, and the only kind that counts, I ask in what way would we best legally deal with it if not by our equitable, rational, and fair interpretation? Interpretation of a symbol depicting, whether we want to believe it or not, the single most pressing and implicating religious event in human history?

Why this must contain this deep meaning with life and death implications is because true revealed faith is no such thing if not disclosing of transcendent secrets. Christian people who insist that it is a revealed faith but not disposed toward treating these issues with the gravity that this category implies is not from the start engaging in morality. And for them to only admit that Christ on the Cross in the act follows the same lower form of morality is to admit it represents nothing more than something like “love” or “obedience” or “death.” To assume its accidental functionality or its intentional one of nothing more than another common symbol is the quintessential moral failure. I do not suggest that those who belong to God are only those who understand perfectly, but means that, through the resistant noise produced by these others, they want to, have an overarching concern for it and have enough despite the world’s downgrading.

The Academy finds it divisive and fundamentalist to bind morality and the handling of religious symbolism in this way. The tendency is to treat such symbols as merely incidental to its age and culture, making their meaning malleable, academic, and disposable. But this is no choice for moral spirituality if the claim is that God designed and delivers a kind of communication as a means of revealing his proprietary knowledge, which would be ageless by definition. No matter who you are, your responsibility is to assume the possibility that spiritual life is infinitely more important than physical life. Your ultimate function in life may be the examination and testing of the world faiths, which claim a special revelation from God. Your spiritual morality may be the only kind upon which qualifies any conception of spiritual existence after death. To proceed in, without bias, hypocrisy, and dissembling, that potential toward a decision.

A true revelatory document is one by definition hidden and revealed, with the former representing the symbol and the latter representing its meaning. If a claimed message from God rests only on your faith in some ancient sage’s confidence, and not on a received truth which he delivers from God and subsequently revealed as true historically, this is not a revelation. This the making of a divine symbol to mean another common symbol, not divine knowledge and meaning. God shows himself in some fashion to the subject, which is scriptural and direct and which manifests itself as a possible product only of the mind of God, not man. In reciprocation, you demonstrate the highest kind of morality by its honest handling, since God’s informational object of handling is the highest transcendent value, and the place of its processing is the most valuable dimension of the individual.

Downgrading Made Simple

I am sure most of you are aware after being exposed to the offered hermeneutical and interpretive choices of the World that there is continuously some attempt to retool biblical types, for example, into non-revelatory things. This retooling s an attempt to circumvent this original, unavoidable definition of morality into a kind of lower value. You lower the symbols means of demonstration in a lower place of expression so that when thinking about goodness, we can think of ourselves there without the threat of very harsh, implacable, interdimensional spiritual laws threatening us.

Moses’ serpent on the pole of Numbers 21, for example. The story is that this is not a display of a more significant and later intention of God, but only perhaps for Moses to give a superstitious people hope that God will protect them from serpent bites. Or, we hear, Christ in John 3 did not refer to this serpent on the pole as a type of him, and has no place in his talk with Nicodemus except Jesus just telling him to believe in God and get baptized truly. Or, Moses’ serpent stops at the meaning of “holiness under the appearance of sin.” Or, the Greeks borrowed the image of the serpent in the Staff of Asclepius, the symbol for medicine and healing, and the image means “true healing by God alone.” Christ is “lifted up,” the serpent was “lifted up,” therefore “lifted up” means Christ raised as the cure for sin.

Do I have a problem with any of these? No, not superficially, except for the first and second. They are all the same interpretation, led by an insularity trying to take a meaning of the serpent on the pole only from a range of possibilities for the purpose of uncoiling and pacifying that serpent, so to speak. The serpent is, however, undomesticated forever, and not defanged unless it is allowed to speak for itself.

That irresistible reflex, an aversion to the idea of any particular thing hidden that may jump out, scare and threaten them, which leads their actions in first making it less threatening, is the problem of a priority of self in the face of truth. Who knows what, if they thought God were speaking certain instead of general things about us, he would say about what is really in our hearts? It’s a lot easier to handle the suggestion that “all those who have no faith can’t be saved” than it is “only those who have [Certain kind of faith here] will be.” Sin defines as a priority of fear of a relatively worthless loss over something of infinite value, so you change the language to avoid the clear threat of identifying against something Holy in which you have no visceral interest. At least “faith” remains open only to an unthreatening species.

We do this for the same reason that Vladimir Bukovsky, in his book Judgment in Moscow: Soviet Crimes and Western Complicity, said that the West, particularly the liberal West, never really resisted the evil of the Soviet state, they were complicit.

“The movers and shakers of today have little interest in digging for the truth. Who knows what one may come up with? You may start out with the communists and end up with yourself.”1

In the church, the theologians of today have little interest in digging for the truth about real sin. Who knows with what might come up? You may start with Satan and end up with yourself.

The thought is that Jesus of the Cross is axiomatically a particular revelation of God’s plan and strategy of implementing it. It’s not optional for Christianity as a revealed faith but would crumble without it by the hands of those who must somehow place themselves in exclusive control of transcendent meaning so that the idea of God that occupies their thoughts does not haunt it as well.

That brings us to the why and how of the necessity of using something ambiguous for this particular revelation of God’s plan of redemption, but not vague for a certain, targeted few.

If you have something of value, particularly of the highest possible value, you don’t throw it into the street for anyone to pick up and exhaust according to their desires, but by some means, you put it away. If anyone thinks it’s as valuable and wants it, they must show their belief that it carries the approximate value that its provider ascribes. The key to this analogy is “desires,” so keep that in mind.

If you want a loan at the bank for a business project, you convince them that you know what you’re doing, that you see the value of money, that you already have some means in cash reserve for a possible slow start, show you have a familiarity with the work. You present a business plan to show that you know where you’re going. You may complain that the bank does not just empty its coffers and let it rain down over the city like a ticker-tape parade, or give it to you just because you want it, but the fact is that if you place a value on a thing you don’t treat it like trash, and you are not honest in expecting others to.

God’s currency is existential truth. “Truth” is the currency of our theology, but not “God’s truth” as we conceive it. “God” is one thing, and “truth” is another, and God’s truth is God’s revelation in a historical phenomenon of promise and fulfillment that forever establishes his exclusive authorship. In our theology, ‘God’s truth” means any kind of truth, biblical or not. “God” is therefore made a disposable and weak concept because there is a desire to think of it as unsupportable except by insular subjective and idiosyncratic motives.

The world, including our theology, has access to “truth,” but this only appears to be a value, because it is not a concept formulated with an unavoidable transcendental attachment. The way the world handles the ultimate spiritual bank is they make their own currency, and their own bank, and loan it out to their own people, that don’t place upon it so harsh and strict qualifications.

The currency they exchange and spend is a boon to the world. It finances countless books, lectures, seminaries, emotions, churches, and pious intentions very successfully and lavishly, but only because they can’t get into the other transcendent bank and use its currency of truth, which has a firewall around it which keeps them out.

The only way a real revelation of God is of possible success when given into a world with a majority of people hostile or apathetic to it, but still for a small number who are receptive, is to make sure it gets through to the right people and hide it from the wrong people. The bank hides its money by putting it into safe. With God, he protects it from the wrong people by baiting them with what they really love. Those are the things of the world, mystery, puzzles, work, tantalizing questions, and generally a possible view of transcendence taken for the exclusive service to them and their desires. It superficially looks like the real thing, giving a feeling that they are holding something ultimate, but the comparison stops there. At the same time, this symbol that can signify carnal things to carnal concerns, having the competence to appear holy but is not, is for those looking for God also symbols of things that pertain to eternity, truth, spiritual law, God’s mind and the provably miraculous. The one honestly looking for truth gets it, which is entirely abstract but of life and death importance, and the one looking for other things gets it, which can only fuel carnal ambition and die with them. This accomplishes two things.

One, God’s Word, his message, is preserved untouched for those that will receive it since the carnal majority never know it in order to mount a targeted effort to demagogue it too vigorously and widely. Two, God’s Word remains as a foundation for the growth of a larger religion not divinely motivated, but which reveres the “Bible” idea. In this, its members unconsciously create a much broader, global protective context in which that Word is preserved and distributed. Every biblical symbol reflects this same strategy.

There is a temptation to ask if this truth is of ultimate value to everyone, why is it not given unambiguously? After all, if an entire people are dying of some new virus and you have a sure-fire cure, love means offering it freely. Why does the revelation have to be symbolic at all? This is a persistent and loud complaint of liberal, universalist sects and atheists.

I remind you that the spiritual body is not the physical body, and a physical drug is not a spiritual one. The spiritual body, as the physical body, is a body effected by the accumulated attitudes and actions as a result of free will with respect to that life. But the spiritual body is by definition free will, history, reason, love, attitude, and belief itself, not sloughed off in death but remaining to stand as an indelible witness of that person as the being in himself, not the beings corporeal representation device. The cure for spiritual sickness is spiritual and will metabolize successfully only by working in nuclear agreement with the spiritual body of its introduction. Since the spirit is itself a decision and its effects, not only a possible reflection of it, a cure passed out indiscriminately is one that assumes that the spirit will benefit from it like the physical cure, without the synergistic cooperation of the receiver. In all due respect to Calvinists, this is then a denial that we even have spirits (or souls if you will), defined as the strongest and most identifying part of an individual which has to power and responsibility to accept or deny reality. To such an entity, you compassionately make the drug freely accessible. But since it is a transcendent truth, information, and not a thing, it can’t work in a spiritual body which treats it as a medical talisman, but only by being in the sense of a receptor to what it already is. If not, your just an antibody to the divine antibody.

By this same logic, God coming down and appearing on the White House Lawn before CNN cameras is not compassion, it’s the forcing of truth upon the receiver and the removal of his free will in accepting it. It’s not respect, its infantilizing, or thinking of people as programmable androids. In that case, no one can reject God. It leaves no room for your moral conscience to move in the process of search, discovery, and commitment. As such, it gives the holiest aspect of God, his sovereign non-contingency, and inter-dimensionality, which makes him inaccessible except through a mediator, an inconsequential aspect, and, therefore, just a notion.

We are discussing a moral decision and a moral choice made for your spirit when that is a most important act you can perform, emblematic of the soul, is not your moral decision, nor a moral decision of the one who makes it for you.

But if this depiction of Christ on the Cross represents God’s plan of redemption, and the plan demarcates fundamental evil from good, the depiction’s meaning has to be as earth-shattering by its true reveal as it is protective of it. The two essential elements of the Cross of Christ begin with this: rather than an answer, I ask if the Cross is first showing as a question and a moral choice between two things?

This is where it really gets interesting. But if your fear snakes override your need for the truth, don’t even try to follow me from here.

The Man: Sin and Righteousness

There is a cross. There is a man on the cross.

The man, again, tortured and murdered by hanging on this cross. His life, draining away. Bound, affixed, tied to this wood. Abused, crushed, and dying. Finally, he dies by hanging on this device of murder.

Our time now will center on this man. Who must he be a sacrifice for the sin of the world?

The act is not transcendently redemptive if it is not, first and foremost, a revelation. I think we have sufficiently exhausted this. We must then conclude the consequences of you taking this as something primarily designed to be mysterious with benefits that reach out to the individual only from Heaven is a full-frontal coup to its designed power and the crushing of the message.

As I have just discussed, sin is the forcing of a spiritual cure into the function of a physical, “evil” one, that one receives and holds without the necessity of moral reflection, with it giving healing benefits automatically. This is called talismanism, what the ancients called idolatry. Many of us readily insist that before the act of the Cross and the Man can in any way be redemptive, it must be known and believed. But taking the meaning of the Man and the meaning of the Cross as God/Jesus/Savior/Redeemer on burden/death/sacrifice/love are weasel words. They are designed to accommodate the necessity of divine meaning with the ardent love of a religious device transmitting virtue to a person without necessarily any depth of understanding, love, and meditated engagement. These words are conceptual, not revelatory. What would be revelatory is when the meaning reduces to a symbol concept so powerful that it then forces a signification which then stands for the end of the signification process, not the beginning or middle. It is ending in the thing-in-itself, not its mediator. It is ending in a piece of knowledge that could not have come from the human mind. Those words are infinitely re-assignable to another vulnerable concept, such as “political activist,” “radical rabbi,” “hippy saint,” “persecution,” “lover of people,” “ultimate ritual sacrifice,” etc. None of these stops a possible chain of signification because “truth” has arrived by the symbol’s instrumentality. We want an idea that is revelatory outside of the mind’s resources in an engagement with common words.

For this mediation to succeed in producing a revelation, there are some theological keywords for scoping out that apply to this man: righteousness and morality, lust, and sin. He has to be righteous and not carnal, but by the meaning of carnality and sin, because righteousness is defined by what it is not. We are not going to offer “righteousness,” for example, and leave its definition open or rendered to “lawful obedience” or some similar. The working definition has to be consistent with the spiritual receiver in the act of free will in wanting and choosing to see some revelation which, like the motive, is alien to carnal thought and expectation.

After this, we consider the display of righteousness and sin in the scene of a man hanging on a Cross, which is the display of sacrifice for world sin.

Now, according to the Bible, some are spiritual and those carnal. Those righteous and unrighteous. God hearers, and God resisters. The Man is one of these, perhaps the righteous, perhaps a deceiver. For him to deliver a revelation for all, it is in the sense of being offered to all but not accepted by all. But to be unrighteously accepted or denied, it will have to be one that is as accessible as it is obscure to all, depending upon the kind of person who is in view. The Man on the Cross is a carnal resister to some and a canal encourager to others. One revelation is for the righteous, and one hidden for the unrighteous.

If he is a sacrifice for the sin of the world in the sense of its possible cure, it is evident that the agent of this task can’t be unrighteous carnal and sinful. He has to be righteous in a way that is not human but possible for humans, long before you consider whether such a sacrifice is possible. But what do these concepts mean?

Well, there is an ultimate sense of these ideas and a common one, just as there is an open and easily appropriated signification to this sacrifice and a closed but accessible one.

The common-sense version is that righteousness is doing things according to a moral code. Unrighteous is doing otherwise. Carnality is acting and thinking in accord with the world and its devices and rewards, and spirituality is doing things in agreement with God’s world.

If this is so, the moral code is according to that of this other world. Not in law or obedience touted as given from another world, or a code which itself does not have such a transcendent mark. This Man’s moral code, which should be ours, is one impossible for us to obey because the standard is too high for us, or else we could do it ourselves. But this can’t be primarily physical obedience because that is not an obedience of a certain reflection of the spiritual body in itself, not necessarily carried out by the moral spirit itself, but can just as well thought by anti-spiritual motives. The moral code and its obedience have to be of exclusive alien origin and motivation, or else it can’t stand as a witness to a genuinely spiritual state. This origin is not a matter only of faith and personal will. The origin displays openly or will not be an available universal choice, but only for those that are looking for righteousness as a personal attribute of spiritual superiority and functioning selfishly as Hell insurance. A transcendent “righteousness” for the Man on the Cross is not ultimately obeying then a “moral code,” implying any kind, possibly within our common understanding and ability. It implies a specific spiritual, moral code that speaks to the morally intended spirit God’s nature and existence, so the receiver of this Man’s morality obeys it in its right place and way. Not a literal obedience, as in the Man’s sacrifice, but from the standpoint of a witness to it, and a returned faith in its truth.

Some of these ideas are easy. Righteousness means being spiritual, and that means following the moral code laid down by the God of the Spirit, of that other dimension above the temporal. But it’s only easy if they are referring to a conceptual object of the other world, and we have far from finished defining these keywords up to a particular species of transcendence.

Words Mean Things

Lets just back up and think about the difference between mere ideas and predicates as applied to the sinful way that we use spiritual language in a carnal fashion.

I am saying that any working idea of “righteousness” and “sin,” for example, is not represented by a concept which points to predicating knowledge, which is so open that it allows another symbol for it, which is opaque by definition. Both the concept and the predicate must be transcendent, with the concept having the ability to only refer to the divine knowledge, for which it cannot point higher.

A conceptual object means “idea.” An idea is a symbol for a range and quality of knowledge, data, information which necessitates representation and mediation to and between its giver and its receiver. Since this is about God’s ultimate ideas, then it’s between God’s mind and ours. There is something that these words mean that originates in God’s mind and will. Saying that, for example, “righteousness” will predicate and signify by knowledge, by information, by truth defined as “obedience to God,” can’t be the end of this signification search back to that ultimate, it’s just a nudge in that general direction. This means that that the definition is still carnal, still in the world, still lacking connection to God. If we are talking about discreet categories of knowledge, then the meaning of our words that refer to something other than our natural, carnal sense of “knowledge” has to be discreet, or else you are taking ideas which lead only toward and not into it. If so, it must be an example of a world completely outside of mind, the emotions, and the systems which this world invents and uses.

Let me give you an example. You are an auto-mechanic and trained as such, but you want to become a neural surgeon because you’re good with your hands, and you want more money. You can’t become one just because you want it. Let’s say that Joe wants a Doctorate in neural medicine. Still, he figures that the best way of doing this is to read a medical textbook and memorize all the surgical vocabulary and their definitions. Although he is unaware of how to use any of these words in a general conversation on the chemistry, surgical techniques, and biology of the profession, he goes to the medical college and starts composing random sentences and conversing with the professors using all this terminology anyway, expecting that they will accept him as a surgeon and grant him a degree.

If he thinks this possible, he would be quite disrespectful of both the faculty, the profession, knowledge, and generally of reality itself. His aim is more money. He has in real interest in the business, or else he would commit himself to learn it properly and thoroughly. Does he deserve a doctorate in neural medicine based upon his handling of its sacred ideas?

If the attitude and the actions of the mechanic are an indication of his willful and selfish use of higher things in an attempt only to take them for himself, this is unrighteousness. Righteousness shows by pursuing and having higher things. Any talk or actions you engage in with those higher things, as irrational as it is, is but an attempt to steal them for yourself by your superficial attachments.

You might say that this is an incompetent and absurd analogy. First, the idea that you have to know all the technical jargon of theology to go to heaven? And how can I use such an insane and clueless person like this, whom you would never find in the real world? But that’s why I used it because the insanity in how we use transcendent keywords is even more insane and irrational than this auto-mechanic.

No, of course, you don’t have to know all the jargon. But I’m not talking about “biblical pericope” and “hypostatic union.” I’m talking about “righteousness,” “spirit,” and “sin,” fundamental things even a child could handle. The auto-mechanic is not really using medical terms to use in his fake-out that you would likely only get from a medical textbook. He actually thinks that if `he uses “body” and “blood” and “vein,” this is enough to qualify for a surgeon. If not a surgeon, but a theologian, this level of depth is also enough, with the open and unqualified use of such as “faith,” “sin” and “righteousness. So my example is really, really crazy and unlikely except within the spatio-temporal world that uses transcendent things only to pretend its pursuit, love, and learning. Our world of spiritual hypocrisy.

No, if you’re going to use a word, no matter how basic, that refers to the other world, you have to use still another word, or reformat that idea so that it includes and is qualified by something specific that could have only come from that world and is proof of it. You can’t use “duodenal mucosal resurfacing” in a sentence, or use “righteousness” in a sentence, and be said to understand this stuff. You need a medical or theological qualifier, or you need to keep talking.

For a theologian, the distance between you and any of your transcendent authorities is naturally much greater than you and the medical certification board when not certified by them, no matter how unqualified you are for their degree. If you’re a theologian, the spatial distance between a simple idea representing a proposed transcendent quality or property and a demonstration that shows the validity of that idea is much greater than “Duodenal mucosal resurfacing” and the case studies in France that demonstrate its effectiveness and safety for the procedures release for the general population. In the context of faith, it is way easier to use “God” without “of prophecy” or ”word,” His transcendent demonstrations, than using “DMR” without referral to its proof-of-concept, “Revita DMR trials.” Without referral to its physical demonstration in a certain paper to the FDA for the purpose of instilling confidence in for that procedures certification and implementation. Since this is the case, you have to be ten times more careful in how you talk about it if you want to be qualified as a theologian and not a scientist at best, and a huckster or worse. Not to mention your qualification as having a real faith issued/caused/made available by a transcendent authority.

Theology is not the study of God’s theology because “theo” means “God,” but because a study of God is only legitimate if God’s revealed qualities and acts from that dimension in that which is not God is the focus of the study. “God” does not stand alone as a concept, but it implies another dimension that pertains to his fact to be an industry above mere fantasy. “God,” the idea, is an unspoken but highly qualified one. Theology is then the use of words that refer to transcendence in a way that demonstrates God to yourself and others that He is known and understood by the greatest examples of his transcendence. You can’t use “righteousness” and say it means something like “obedience to God’s moral law” and call this proper theology, because “obedience,” “God,” “moral” and “law” can exist either explicitly or implicitly with no connection to a particular and ultimate example of them which is not from here. They are ideas, they are not divine predicates in a real and objective demonstration of God, and if you don’t have that you don’t have any God to faith, except faith in a nice idea.

Am I beating a dead horse now? Ok, let’s take this forward.

“God” and his Reveal

You might not have thought about it, but the Bible follows all this almost exclusively. The Bible is written not like a clueless, emotional, and groundless tout, no matter how much atheists and far-leftists want to think of it as such. The Hebrew Bible and its combined New Testament are entirely alone among this type of literature in its stubborn insistence that it’s a proven revelation, not just the wishful thinking of its subjectively inspired human authors.

Isaiah 48:3. “I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I shewed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass. 4 Because I knew that thou art obstinate, and thy neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass; 5 I have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I shewed it thee: lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them.6 Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them. 7 They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them. 8 Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from that time that thine ear was not opened: for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and wast called a transgressor from the womb.”

You can confirm that fact even in its most casual use of its key nouns. Its use of, for example, “God,” is always with an explicit or at least strongly implied qualifier to his informational demonstration in the world, or his specific connection to his domain, which distinguishes him from the unrevealed and pagan gods around.

The reason why we are going down this road when I’m supposed to be talking about the Man on the Cross and that display of sin and righteousness is that I’m going to suggest that the miraculous qualifiers that are associated with “God” are much stronger for the association of both the Man on the Cross and the Cross itself. This will show how the meaning was tossed out after the1st century, and why the church is being destroyed by those who are continually let in that have no interest in this whatsoever.

“God of hosts” (39 instances)

“God of truth” (De 32:4; Ps 31:5; Isa 65:16)

God of knowledge (1Sa 2:3)

God of glory (Ps 29:3; Ac 7:2)

God of the spirits of all flesh (Nu 16:22; Nu 27:16)

This is a very truncated list. It does not even come close to representing the point. Search for “Lord of,” with such as results as “Lord of Hosts” (244 instances).

References to Abraham or Israel are references not just to people or collectives, but more importantly, to precisely what God told them and what God subsequently did with them. They are this equivalent. God revealed himself to them, either by the personal presence or by disclosure of that about him and his mind, which only he could know and which proves it.

I point out that your revelation of yourself to another person must go far beyond your bodily presence and incidental actions as this disclosure of who you are. The body is a superficial thing relative to your spirit, and you can have a limitless number of false readings by it. What really does it is when you speak. You relate your beliefs, feelings, history, intentions. A police report also shows a lot and the testimony of others. Therefore, it’s mostly by information carried on spoken words or in documents, not only by sight.

For Abraham and the rest, when a Jew said “Abraham,” they were not thinking just about a guy that is the physical progenitor of the Jewish race. They thought about his connection to God in a relationship in which the two spoke to each other, with Abraham receiving a revelation about God concerning the future of humankind. Abraham talked to God, who promised him physical and spiritual progeny more numerous than the stars of heaven. To Israel, that God brought them by Moses out of Egypt by signs and wonders, sustaining them by the same agency in the desert. They were not fed by “water” or by “manna” or by “quail,” but by supernaturally produced instances of them. God finally brought them into the “promised land,” the land of prophetic promise, and through the miracle of the parting of the Jordan River.

Remember this, because it is absolutely essential to understand the plan of redemption in which we are now supposed to be partakers. Don’t forget the image of Christ on the Cross when I start to talk about how these things are written this way for a purpose, having the ability to be turned a carnal way or a particular spiritual way, which is the presentation to you of a test by a kind of question.

When the New Testament as a whole comes into view, this question is what its all about, with an answer mostly to what God is and where God is by a fulfilled demonstration of himself.

God of great price, God of peace, God of all grace, God of the holy prophets, God of our Lord Jesus Christ, God of all comfort, God of patience and consolation, God of the living (not of the dead), God of my salvation, Kingdom of God/Heaven. God (Father) of lights.

The Old Testament references often refer to a prophet, an agent of God to whom he spoke and gave a revelation of the future. This includes Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, Moses, and the rest. Then the most frequent mention of them is to their collective children, Israel, the Hebrews, who are the people of prophetic promise.

When we get to the New Testament where is related to a momentous fulfillment and representation of God’s existence, nature, and plan, you can see that a lot of these informational qualifiers are referring specifically to a past promise and its revelation. A realization of a supernatural oath, which forms a context for such ideas as grace, patience, salvation, peace, sin, and righteousness. These are not defined arbitrarily. Each one refers to a particular line of biblical evidence of God’s work, what he has realized and revealed, not only “God.” With each instance, the expositor can open scripture and show you what God has done to give peace, save, build a kingdom, give patience and consolation, which are supernatural events of history toward the outworking of his plan of redemption.

But the greatest is this:

God’s Son

What must be remembered here is that all of these informational qualifiers of the God concept are the product of the Messiah and for the Messiah. Not one of them is attributed directly to a “God” who is only a concept but only to a God who is revealed in the flesh. Messiah is the revelation of God in the flesh. Literally, God’s promise, his prophetic utterances to the Prophets, come true. This looks a lot like this necessary dichotomy of idea and demonstration of which have spoken. It also looks a lot like a man and a Cross.

“Man” is an idea. Even “Messiah,” “Christ,” and “Jesus” is an idea. What God did is not an idea. It’s not the token or representation of reality; it is reality, what the Bible calls “Truth.” You cant use the concept without the reality, or else you have an uncontrolled idea given to carnal culture to redefine according to its wishes. “God’s Son” is a concept, but the concept is qualified with a demonstrative predicate, and like ‘Abraham,” it is put to faith as the equivalent of God himself and identically for God’s Son himself.

What's Happening In The Amazon And How Can We Help? Sabotage, embargoes, boycotts, international pressure and indigenous peoples are all part of the solution.

Global forest fires have been on the rise across the Canary islands, central and southern Africa and various South American countries this dry season. None, however, have become as politicised as those in the Brazilian Amazon. Some disbelief in the events was fuelled by old photographs of forest fires in other parts of the world that circulated on social media. Nevertheless, the ashes over Sao Paulo at 3 PM on 19 August as a result of the fires, although dubbed "fake news” by environment minister Ricardo Salles, was nonetheless captured and recorded by some of the city's 12 million inhabitants.

According to Brazil's Institutional Security Cabinet and retired military commander of the Amazon region, General Augusto Heleno, this year's Amazon deforestation rates published by INPE (the Brazilian National Institute for Space Research) have been manipulated.

In order to gauge the gravity of the situation, I spoke to biology professor Domingos Rodrigues from the Federal University of the Mato Grosso.

How much of what the media is saying is true and how much is false? In other words, how much do we need to worry?

“As far as deforestation is concerned, roughly 80% of what the media is saying is true" says Rodrigues. "DETER is a fast updating alert platform of changes in forest cover in the Amazon conducted by INPE. It was created to aid the IBAMA (Brazil’s Environment Ministry) in monitoring and controlling deforestation. The figures are then confirmed by a system called PRODES. So far, all the deforestation alerts this year have been confirmed by PRODES. Yes, we do need to be worried because the increase in deforestation is a reality and the Brazilian government is dismantling the relevant bodies that monitor it, such as IBAMA.”

Who's doing what?

“It’s tense here" according to indigenous activist Mayalu Txucarramãe from Mato Grosso. "Many of us are being attacked on social media and at work. Davi Kopenawa Yanomami is receiving death threats". Yanomami, a veteran indigenous activist, is this year's winner of the Right Livelihood Award. Txucarramãe and her brother Matsi Waura are both members of the Raoni Institute, a local foundation that executes projects in the Xingú indigenous territory. Matsi Waura stated that "deforestation has increased, crime has increased and the mortality rate of indigenous leaders and environmentalists has increased. We are occupying the streets in protest and some political parties and movements are making international complaints against the measures of the current government. But we need more pressure".

What can we do?

International Pressure

On August 23 the Brazilian government declared that it would send troops to assist fire brigades in the Amazon, “but only because of national and international pressure” says Matsi, “so keep demanding international intervention from your countries”.

Rodrigues: "The fires are being controlled primarily by State governments via specialised fire brigades. IBAMA is mobilising but its hands are tied because the federal government has reduced its teams in the Amazon, however the government recently requested help from the army and the national security forces to help control the fires by investigating and attempting to penalise criminal fire outbreaks. This was thanks to international pressure."

Support Local and Indigenous Groups

Mayalu: "Inside the Capot-Jarina indigenous territory, the Raoni Institute is maintaining a base on the reserve’s margins to limit the entry of trespassers and is collaborating with the State fire brigades on standby in the village of Piaraçu in order to put out accidental fires".

Raoni himself has recently been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize. Winning the prize may result in much needed funding for the Raoni Institute and its projects and will help to highlight the role of indigenous people. In June this year, Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro described the chief as 'unrepresentative of the Brazilian people' and during his address to the United Nations on September 24, accused him of monopolising on his activism. In the wake of this publicity, support for Raoni and indigenous people has increased but indigenous people continue to face prejudice in Brazil.

Sign the petition to support Raoni in his Nobel Peace Prize 2020 nomination.

The indigenous are not the only groups you can support. Rodrigues: "You should support universities and State government fire control agencies such as IBAMA, and the State Environmental and Water Resources Secretariats. These institutions are effective in controlling fires and educating people on how to prevent them and on their negative impact on forests, the climate and humans in terms of respiratory problems."

Find and support indigenous networks in your country and abroad. Learn what their demands are and advocate for them.

Support in-country politicians who promote indigenous land rights and demand that your government put pressure on the Brazilian government to enact this type of legislation.

Apply pressure on the Brazilian government to operationalise zoning and community participation legislation.

Sabotage

Remember when Utah Phillips said “the earth is not dying. It is being killed, and those who are killing it have names and addresses”? Well the same goes for the corporations linked to the destruction of the Amazon.

The thumbnail below is taken from this well researched article that details the main companies linked to Amazon destruction. Some of these have plants all over the world, such as Brazil’s JBS S.A., the world’s largest meat company which has plants in the US.

The headquarters for each of the above companies can be found on Google maps or the companies’ websites, namely in the jobs section.

Locate worldwide headquarters of each of these companies;

Trespass and protest at company premises or outside headquarters;

Confront CEOs at their homes or at work;

In some cases, cause damage to private property (ideally to machinery related to deforestation, transportation and communications or simply to the premises) in order to pose an ongoing threat to their business.

Organise and find groups that do any or all of the above.

Note: Aggression does not equal violence. People are very quick to differentiate between violence and nonviolence and in doing so, highly underestimate the importante of aggression. Violence implies the physical abuse or potential injury of another person, unlike any of the above-mentioned forms of aggression.

DON’T Sign Mercosur

As the world’s leading exporter of beef, leather, and soybeans (these being the leading causes of Amazon forest cover loss), Brazil is highly vulnerable to trade embargoes. Brazil exported $13.6 billion in agricultural products to the EU last year.

Mercosur is a trade deal with Brazil which, among other trade deals, is not cohesive with the statements made by European politicians in the wake of the Amazon fires. France has already refused to sign Mercosur. The rest of Europe must follow suit.

Demand that your government drop Mercosur;

Organise demonstrations or join groups that campaign against it and target politicians;

Lobby the negotiators of Mercosur in your country in writing and in public confrontation.

Boycott

"In Brasil, the mining, farming and energy industries threaten our forest” says Chief Raoni. “Big land owners cut down trees in order to grow crops and spray pesticides, polluting the rivers which we drink water from. Europeans must boycott their products and eat foods produced on their own soil. I hope you will help me in this struggle”.

Single out Brazilian imports and protest at supermarkets to demand that they drop these products; namely beef and soy.

Although your purse is not a tool for change, make sure that you accompany your boycott of goods linked to deforestation with consuming home-grown foods. And if that's too expensive, should you still be eating meat if you care about the planet?

Technology

A chip containing GPS, 4G and data storage has been developed that is capable of deactivating machinery linked to deforestation upon entering protected areas. Using its GPS and caché of protected area coordinates, the system detects the exact location of vehicles and a notification is sent to the operator. If the operator advances, the vehicle can be switched off.

If enough brands and manufacturers incorporate this technology into their future products, the chip would be able to deactivate them in protected areas and halt deforestation.

Share the campaign as widely as possible

Promote it via social media

Tag brands and manufacturers; namely: Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi CM, Volvo CE, Liebherr, XCMG, Doosan Infracore, Sany, John Deere and JCB.

Legal Instruments

If you haven’t done so already:

Sign the global petition to make environmental destruction a war crime.

Promote the Law of Ecocide publicly and via social media and share the petition.

Although international laws carry very little weight before governments like Brazil that wish to exercise their sovereignty over things like the Amazon, this law could condemn the actual companies as opposed to governments.

Ultimately, this is what needs to happen but it is only possible if we correctly identify those accountable for the maximum losses and attempt to hit them where it hurts. This is something we can do right now. Meanwhile we must also highlight those who are a part of the solution and demand that their rights and ability to continue providing solutions be respected and their voices heard.

Her Prophet Speaks: Transhumanist Matriarchy

~I was watching this gorgeous video of our Sun and being who I am and doing what I do, my aesthetic thoughts were secondary to my...well, let's call them my Pragmatic Thoughts. For all its undeniable beauty, as I watched gossamer tendrils of 'star light' dance off the Sun's radiant body, I was all too aware that if one of them glanced against our Pale Blue Dot for even a few seconds, most if not all life would be instantly seared from its surface. Maybe that was foremost in my mind because I was two hundred or so pages into Neal Stephenson's SEVENEVES at the time. [Spoiler: The Moon blows up] But I likely would have thought the above anyway. I am usual aware of how fragile life is here on the Pale Blue Dot and of how deadly and violent the Universe truly is and because of that reality, it is crucial that we as a species get a substantial number of ourselves Off Planet ASAP if we wish to survive. From that point of view Deep Green politics are Pure Suicide in that they reject the entire idea of Technological Civilization. And I would say to those ecologically minded folks who say we have to 'clean up the Earth first', “It is a highly dangerous assumption to think we have time to wait for that.” Besides, going Off Planet is an essential part of 'cleaning up Earth'. The primary caveat to all of this is that it has been shown that we Baseline Humans do not do very well in Space. In zero gravity we lose bone and muscle mass and 'bad things' happen our internal organs. And we know that the raw radiation of Space is harmful as well. We just do not yet know how harmful it will be over the long term. I use the term Baseline Humans because we are now at a place were we can actively modify ourselves. But we Homo Sapiens Sapiens are only 'baseline' because of that scientific 'baseline'. Homo Sapiens Idaltu [our now extinct direct ancestors], Homo Neanderthalensis and Denisova Hominins were just as 'human' we are. And there may well have been a few subspecies before them who were also 'just as human'. But they are gone and we are here. ...which brings us to Transhumanism. First we need to redefine one term... Cyborg: this word has been misused by The Terminator franchise. 'Terminators' are NOT Cyborgs, they are Androids, aka Humanoid Robots. It's something of a pet peev of mine. A real Cyborg [Cybernetic Organism] is a human who has been augmented with Cybernetic elements. They walk among us already. Someone with a pace-maker and/or Cochlear implants is technically already a Cyborg, albeit more with a small 'c'. When we talk about brain controlled artificial limbs - something that is also already happening - then one is moving into capital 'C' Cyborg territory. The Transhumanist Cyborg will be a far more extensively modified human. This would include an on-board computer to monitor and maintain all the systems said human contains. It would probably be about the size of a credit card and be placed just under the skin. Ultimately these systems would include, though not be limited to; ~a carbon fiber reinforced bone structure to maximize strength and protect from impacts, ~cerebral implants [Neural Nanonics] to maximize cognition and perception, download information directly and communicate via 'cyber-telepathy', ~micro-electronic contact lenses that allow the eyes to see the entire light spectrum and which contain both macro and micro focusing elements, information screens and measuring elements, ~a subcutaneous microfiber mesh to prevent puncture woulds, maintain level body temperature in extreme environments and promote rapid healing, ~millions of nanobots, microscopic robots that permeate all of the body's tissues and fluids and constantly monitor and repair all tissues and organs using a regular infusing of raw stem cells. For certain situations, limbs could be replaced by fully mechanical prosthesis, but those would be special cases, such as loss of a limb, but eventually organic limbs could be regrown. In other special cases, various organs, such as eyes and lungs, could be replaced by fully mechanical prosthesis in order to operate in highly extreme environments, with the possibility of having them replaced with organics [wetware] when the individual returns to a human friendly locale. Obviously, that crosses over into Genetic Engineering, which is in some ways the 'other half' of Transhumanist development and, in my view, the more important one. Cybernetics are really just “Enhancements” of the Baseline Human form. Genetics are how we begin to move beyond the fundamentals of Baseline Humanity. This is where people start getting frightened because we will in fact be designing and breeding the species that is going to replace us. That brings up all manner of existential terror, visions of remorseless Supermen on a crusade to exterminate the Baseline Humans. But the truth is they are our descendants, our Children...and do we not always want our Children to do better than us, to BE better than us? The human genome has been fully mapped, though there is much we do not yet understand. But we are learning more everyday, even in the face of the above terrified opposition. Though many Baselines scream, “We cannot play God!” that is what we have always done. It is hardwired into out basic nature. [I will address the Metaphysics of this later] One of the things we have learned is how mutable our DNA actually is. It seems that powerful events in early childhood can cause chemical and hormonal surges that can quite literally change the structure of our DNA, changes that we can pass on to our children. Most of that work has focused on trauma for obvious reasons; it is the easiest to track. But it is also highly probably that an intensely positive childhood can do the same. However, this process can also be effected by direct manipulation of our DNA, removing negative inhibiting traits, disease causing genes and adding/augmenting genetic inclinations. Raise such Enhanced children in a positive and supportive environment – we require both Nature and Nurture – and the possibilities are endless. Genetic Engineering can be used to increase muscle and bone density to create greater strength and endurance, to improve organ function...including brain function, to retard and reverse aging – one day even prevent it all together once a certain state of being has been achieved – to strengthen the entire human organism across the board so that we can survive and prosper in almost any environment. On a less esoteric level, we need to do this. The Race needs to become spacefaring because the surface of a planet is a dangerous place to live and all the evidence shows that Baseline Humans do not do well in space. So this is a matter of the long term Survival of the Race. As one looks deeper into the Transhumanist Community, you will find that it is largely dominated by Western Middle Class White Beta Males, a significant number of them twenty/thirty-somethings who are Atheist, Libertarian, personally awkward and who cannot wait to upload their minds into a box to escape that awkwardness. I have no time for them as they are an evolutionary dead end. Mind uploading should be a Final Option, not a primary one. In parallel with this is the most profound contradiction of their Transhumanism; that for a group that is almost uniformly Atheist, it has a near fanatic desire to create itself a God in the form of an AI, which will then 'transform Earth into a Deathless Paradise'. Maybe this accounts for the community's distinct aversion to Metaphysical study, for such would quickly lay bare its clearly Judeo-Christian underpinnings. For a whole set of reasons, both practical/mundane and esoteric/Metaphysical, I am firmly convinced that the Future of The Race lays with Enhanced Females, in effect Cyborg Amazons. Their enhancements would allow them to reproduce with each other – which would produce only daughters – and so leave Baseline Males, and all of their inherent instability, far behind. And said enhancements would also make carrying a child to term and childbirth itself a far easier and safer process that it is naturally. Some advocate that we totally transfer human reproduction to entirely artificial means, e.g. Uterine Replicators. But that is heading in the same direction as Mind Uploading and is the path to becoming non-humans instead of Superior Humans. With the pain and difficulty of bearing children removed, what is left is the Primal Bond and that is what will keep us Human no matter how advanced we become. Those are the basic tenets of Transhumanism I see them. There are however many other aspects, a whole world remodeled to support these Superior Humans, what we presently call The Internet of Things, all the myriad machinery of Modern Civilization networked together and at the beck and call of each human's on-board cybernetics. And then there is the requirement of creating Homo Servitus, which is also the title of the following short essay; “The need for a reliable Labor Force is one of the oldest and most difficult issues of human civilization. The harsh truth is that we Baseline Humans are too varied, too impulsive, too inconsistent and always dissatisfied with something. To create order among us eventually requires lies and coercion and as such leads to Tyranny, which damages the Oppressor as much as the Oppressed by brutalizing both. Better then to turn the Means of Production to the production of Workers themselves, a genetically engineered Servitor Class, beings who are happy with their lot and take pleasure from performing their duties. Such beings would have simple needs, requiring only humane treatment and modest comfort beyond their Purpose as Workers to make their lives pleasurable. Many of you will react with horror at this entire line of thinking. Yet consider this; the device upon which you are reading these words requires a number of Rare Earths to function. Many of those elements are mined in the Congo by people who are essentially slaves, most of them war refugees and quite a few survivors of War Rape. Their lives are a daily regime of brutality and for most their only escape is death. I'm sure you're horrified by that as well, but you're not going give up your device, are you? The technologies necessary to create Homo Servitus are already under development. The parsing of genes that guide certain behavioral tendencies. Cloning from ordinary human cells. Uterine Replicators. Cerebral implants to guide and control behavior. Many of the various members of this Servitor Class would be designed and grown with their specific tasks in mind. A small number would be more generalized servants. But they would all be grown, which is their major advantage over robots. Robots require complex engineering and lots of raw materials. This type of biological Servitor Class also avoids the existential danger of creating independent and mobile AIs. On the other end of the scale, we need to evolve a type of Homo Superior..but that's a tale for another time. Either way, we Baseline Humans will soon need to move off the stage before we wreck the whole place.” Given that I envision the idea Homo Superior as Cyborg Amazons, the DNA to be used for Homo Servitus would be that of Baseline Males. And there will even be some Baseline Males who will happily volunteer to undergo transformation into some types of Servitors, much in the fashion of submissive Males who wish to be Collared by Female Dominants today. This then is my view of the optimal form of Transhumanism, a Transhumanist Matriarchy. It should be noted that many in the Transhumanist community seem share a certain outlook, the admirable view that Transhumanism will succeed by pure reason and logic alone. But the vast majority of Baseline Humans are *not* reasonable nor logical. As a species we tend to automatically view Change as Loss, are largely superstitious, fear driven and more often than not act with a violent irrationality upon anything we perceive as threatening whatever little epistemological ghetto we happen to live in. Something like Transhumanism is utterly terrifying to most Baseline Humans as they quite accurately see it as heralding the end of their line. That is a profound existential threat that I guarantee will be meet with an extreme and brutal reaction. To deny this reality is suicidal foolishness. This is a Struggle for The Future. Such is not for the faint of heart nor the weak willed. We in the Transhumanist community have a double challenge, that of upgrading and improving The Race while simultaneously fighting off those who wish to maintain the status quo. At certain points that will require the use of Violent Force. I repeat, 'To deny this reality is suicidal foolishness.' Many in the Transhumanist community will find this a repugnant paradigm and reject it. I suspect no small number of those will have an unpleasant fate upon actually encountering said paradigm. The more bloody minded of us will carry on and do our best to defend those with that more 'enlightened' world view from the brutal ugliness of the real unenlightened world Something to keep in mind; that those who want the species to remain just as it is vastly outnumber us, their 'reality' is already in place and no small number of them will be quite happy to kill us in order to stop our work.

Secrets of the Cold: Exposed! Jack Kruse Quantum Fire in Ice

So the fourth person I worked with made a connection I had not noticed before - or maybe I did? But it is nice to review: Jack Kruse and Wim Hof. Kruse says he will not be on Joe Rogan since Rogan is "in bed" with the Paleo crowd and Kruse emphasizes the secret to Wim Hof is not food but....

. On Friday I will then be testing out the Wim Hof method for an 8 hour full lotus meditation session! I'm curious to see how long I can hold my breath after 8 hours of his training. haha.

It is not. Water acts differently in cold than it does in warm. And your cells, and mine, are filled to the brim with water. But it requires cold temperature to be present and used commonly. In the pathway, the less effort you give, the faster and more powerful you will be when this pathway is active. People who live in this pathway can run a marathon with no training. They can lift unreal amounts of weight with little training. Their reserve and recovery are just incredible. You have to see it to believe it. Many will say cold thermogenesis a hormetic process, when in reality it is created using a coherent energy source due to something called the Hall effect.

... liquid water needs to absorb a lot of latent heat to in order to evaporate, so it sucks energy from the atmosphere to make this energy transfer. This loss of energy from the atmosphere directly cools the planet and this preserves the charge on life’s inner mitochondrial membrane and in the nanotubes present in our cells that contain water. This is how life lives long in the cold.

Right so living in Minnesota - I was taught a phrase that was from Emergency Rescue Teams in the mountains of New Mexico I think - "cotton kills." Why? Because when cotton gets wet it takes so much energy to evaporate the heat. Wool on the other hand dries fast. This is why I love wool socks but you can not find pure wool socks hardly at all in stores. Because pure wool breaks down in machine cleaning and so would need to be mended all the time.

When I worked in Alaska at 19 years old the man who homestead the place said the key to staying warm most importantly depended on circulation not as much on layers of clothing.

So with the circulation secret - what are we really getting at? When the parasympthetic deep breathing is activated then it dramatically expands the blood vessels which increases blood flow and therefore heat. But the Wim Hof method has another secret that I have likened to building up static electricity charge in socks rubbed across a dry room carpet. The deep reverse breathing first builds up oxygen as high PH charge in the sympathetic nervous system and then when the breath is held after exhale, this switches all that sympathetic charge over to the parasympathetic as an electromagnetic shock that creates heat! You can then build up this heat and charge internally.

That is my theory at least - that the parasympathetic and sympathetic cross path as the lower tan tien centre. We know also from the alchemy training - and Wim Hof refers to the increased pressure in the head creating lots of light - and so then the cerebrospinal fluid overflows out of the nasal cavity into the throat, being swallowed, this "restores the yuan jing" as strong internal heat in the pit of the stomach, absorbed back into the small intestine, that has the 2nd greatest number of neurons after the brain (more than the heart!!).

So from experience I know that creates the strong internal heat - after having swallowed that brain cerebrospinal fluid that has overflowed out of the nasal cavity.

So when Jack Kruse and Wim Hof emphasize the cold water training - as per Victor Schauberger's secret of "pressure plus suction equals reduction of resistance" - the cold water is really more dense and therefore more pressure. This pressure can also be created from horse stance as standing up increases the gravity difference between upper and lower body - and you get the bare feet contact with the ground.

So then someone on the Jack Kruse forum is dismissive of Wim Hof saying that the tummo heat method works but is "energy consuming." But what people don't realize is Wim Hof has revealed he can create this heat from his mind alone - without doing the breathing exercise! His mind can double his adrenaline levels on his own - just by mental focus and visualization. We know that the pineal gland is what increases the adrenaline and so there is a "positive feedback" from increased adrenal medullae adrenaline activation by the deep reverse breathing which then goes up to the pineal gland to then increase more adrenaline output, which then cycles back down to further increase the adrenal medullae levels as "yuan qi" or - yang jing energy.

But what is the source of this power? It is from the heart - via the vagus nerve - through the breath retention as visualization! Tummo traditionally relies on visualizing the fire in the belly, and even the original human culture, the Bushmen, teach to visualize fire at the pit of the stomach and base of the spine!

But Jack Kruse "agrees" with the forum comment that Wim Hof is not a good teacher. That was October 2015 but guess what Wim Hof in his most recent interview sent to me by the long-time reader in Spain - Wim Hof has increased his focus on how really it is the subconscious mind that is being activated in real time.

And so we know that he is referring to the heart biophoton spirit energy activating and uniting the qi energy from the quantum entanglement source of reality - the sound-current or phonons.

Jack Kruse is a medical doctor - I think a surgeon - so let's go back to him to see what he says about the quantum science involved, the "Hall Effect" for example. I agree that Wim Hof has not gotten into this quantum science yet but he is providing fodder for the scientists to document his real skills! haha. Amazing.

If we're so good in the cold, why use a body temperature of 37C? Why do birds have a body temperature of 40-43C, have better tolerance to the cold, and have less leaky mitochondria? If we had the mitochondria of birds, we'd live 3 times as long and never get cancer. (elaboration in Nick Lane's books, 'Power, Sex, and Suicide')

Excellent question! I have not read Nick Lane's books but I did reference him in my Conspirachi blogbook that I started a year ago - his argument is on the secret of mitochondria and longevity. Very fascinating stuff as it goes back to my favorite novel as a child - Madeline L'Engle's

- which was also about mitochondria as the secret of the universe. Something like that. haha.

So here is my answer so far. I know for example, as I feed the Chickadees every day - the birds living in our forest who rely on our birdseed - Chickadees stay here all winter and stay warm over night how? By FLEXING THEIR MUSCLES. This is why I really like Chickadees - besides the fact that their song is a minor third Blues song. I like to think of Chickadees as mini-flying killer whales.

Flying Mini-Killer Whales: The chickadee secret of cold thermogenesis.

So I don't see anyone else online making that mini flying killer whale connection to Chickadees. I wonder why? haha. Well at any rate the Chickadee will lose half of its body weight every night in the winter! Why? Because it flexes it muscles and shivers so much to stay warm.

The two biggest muscles in the human body are what? the Glutes (1) and diaphragm (2) - yet amazingly these two biggest muscles are not focused on by weight trainers - not that I have noticed. Obviously bench pressing works the diaphram and probably the glutes as well - but still don't think the trainers

But then what happens when it is really cold out at night in the winter for Chickadees? they enter into a trance hibernation state! And based on science couldn't this trance hibernation state be activated as an extreme reversal of their extreme sympathetic nervous system! I would think so. Makes sense to me. Chickadees are little flying yogis.

So then the computer program asks why are not humans "hotter" if this cold created internal heat is so adaptive? Well guess what - the original human culture, the Bushmen, relies on the trance dancing to create internal heat and it gets very cold in the desert at night, despite being hot during the day. I know since I watched Survivorman - Les Stroud - from Canada - freezing in the desert at night for his Bushmen show.

O.K. back to the critique of Jack Kruse:

There is no energy being created. If you do not have enough energy to go round in the body in the first place (either not enough input, or not able to mobilise stored energy), getting your collagen fibers super-conducting isn't going to help you at all.

O.K. this assumes there is no quantum entanglement consciousness field that can be tapped into!

Hydration is the far bigger factor -- ie: protein function is far dependent on water chemistry than temperature.

Well that is the emphasis of Jack Kruse also - water is the secret! Qigong master Effie P. Chow says to drink 8 glasses of water a day! Qigong master Jim Nance told me that was his secret lately - he was drinking a LOT of water. We also know that the qigong masters doing cave meditation as "bigu" are able to create the necessary proteins needed to maintain their nutrition levels while also not losing weight - and this is for a month plus of meditation with no sleep! . What was the focus of Rustum Roy? Also the secret quantum energy of water!

But as I've pointed out - "cold" is not necessary as much as pressure from cold and pressure from yoga training is what "structures" the water into the tetrahedral form that is negentropic - and so since biophotons are released from the water as heat - we can reverse this to conclude it is the biophotons as coherent consciousness visualization that create the heat from the quantum energy. As the original qigong master shared - when he went into full lotus for cave meditation, the whole walls of the cave filled up with light and he left his body!

As I read this person's critique of Jack Kruse I have to remember Dr. Mae-Wan Ho's emphasis on biophotons - the energy of the water is actually from "virtual photons" as reverse time anti-matter energy! So the critique of Jack Kruse keeps saying that lower cold temperature does not mean superconducting collagen but this seems to forget the irony of the cold temperature causing increased pressure of the water-collagen which then increases internal temperature. As we know from studying sonofusion - it is literally a bubble cavitation collapse of the water, activated by ultrasound pressure, as an ELF subharmonic of proton-electron magnetic moment (precession) - a mini black hole-white hole conversion of energy.

So maybe the Hall Effect doesn't quite capture this secret! So then the critique of Jack Kruse next gives a Dr. Mae-Wan Ho url but states:

Ignore the bombastic descriptions of "liquid crystalline structure" from the previous paper

That's a pretty dismissive comment! the "Liquid crystalline structure" is the key secret of this "cold thermogenesis." It is because as water gets cold then density increases but the volume expands - so that cold water falls in a lake creating "fall turnover" but as ice the cold water rises to the surface of the lake! So then cold water right at melting point of glacier ice water has this unique negentropic crystalline structure since it is expanding but does not have entropy since it maintains the tetrahedral structure. I cited this ten years ago from the research of J.L. Finney, "what's so special about water?" He is not involved in any "woo-woo" research. haha.

The cooling may open up the channel to more conductivity, and the laser would activate the point better.

O.K. so the critique is reaching his final conclusion. The key factor missing here is pressure - as "negative energy density" - I am quoting Paul Wesson on dr Broglie. Yeah amazingly I remembered correctly!

So as Victor Schauberger said about water - it is "suction" - increased pressure - "plus pressure" - equals "reduction of resistance."

The suction is what creates the asymmetrical capacitor effect that is electrogravitic - pulling energy from the quantum vacuum via quantum entanglement as alchemical energy. The pressure on the bones and collagen is then sucked into negative energy density as fire from water!

Trust me - 8 hours of full lotus meditation puts a lot of pressure on the collagen of the knees. haha.

Now think about it - when your limbs or extremities go numb - do they feel cold or hot? Numbness as increased pressure of the nerve signals, according to the qigong master, is when the energy qi is on the opposite side of the body. So if the legs are numb, the qi is strongest in the head. But then as Master Nan, Huai-chin says if you can stand the pain of the increased pressure nerve numbness then the qi circulates back down into the legs as a blissful orgasmic sensation. This is again, as I have claimed, the pressure as extreme sympathetic nervous system causing an opposite extreme "parasympathetic rebound" as the vagus nerve connects to the lower sacrum nerves. And so that is the secret of the kundalini energy out of the sacrum opening up with vastly increased serotonin shooting up to the pineal gland. As the original qigong master says if when in full lotus and the pain is great, if you can just withstand it, then the pain will clear out and the qi will return even stronger.
