Premiado como Bailarino e Coreógrafo em renomados Festivais de dança do Brasil e exterior. Hoje ministra cursos e aulas em escolas na Grande São Paulo e suas aulas também seguem a metodologia de aquecimentos coreografados para desenvolvimento e aprimoramento físico, técnico e artístico dos alunos. Episode 63. It Takes A Village To Love ft. Lorna Bracken Baxter

Not to be defined by one style, Lorna B’s own personal art of music is a blend of Smooth, Standard, Improvisational Jazz, Soul, Blues and Pop arranged with a Jazz flare. Lorna's training started early at age 3 under the guidance of her father, one of Portland Oregon’s greatest jazz legends, composer & arranger for Billy Eckstine, pianist Warren Bracken . Her father’s contributions in Jazz, Bebop, and Blues as well as exposure to other jazz greats of the time, influenced her to start on her own musical journey. In her youth, her vocal strengths were noticed and led her to be selected as the only child of an all adult choir where she sang from age 12 to 18. Lorna moved out of state and later, out of country to Canada for 14 years. While there she worked on some music projects with other artists. Since returning to her home state of Oregon, her music projects were working with her group, the Lorna B Band playing Pop, Soul Funk & Blues. Lorna has now has come full circle and is showcasing her roots in Jazz, by way of her skills in her unique style and naturally seasoned vocal sound.

DJ-Kicks by Terranova 1998 Hip Hop / Trip Hop / Breakbeat / Downtempo

A lot of people like to claim that Kruder & Dorfmeister's DJ-Kicks mix is the greatest DJ mix of all time, but I actually think that this DJ-Kicks offering from the Berlin trio of Terranova might actually be a better one. The selection is simply out of this world, just about every single track is incredible, and while it was clearly mixed digitally, the sequencing on this thing is pretty fucking perfect, too. Listen to Terranova weave largely obscure and old school hip hop tracks between a collection of exquisitely stoned-stupid and mostly unheard of trip hop and breakbeat fare. In the pantheon of mixes that skillfully blend hip hop and trip hop songs together, this one deserves far more recognition than it's received, and the 10-and-a-half minutes-plus of "Ladies & Gentlemen" by 69 Jazzfunkclassics (a nice alias used by Detroit techno legend Carl Craig) that sits in the middle of this ride is one of the most stunning pieces of electronic music ever recorded in my book.

Terranova have got their kicks by gathering together their favourite tunes, locking themselves in the studio, and enhancing the results with keyboard overlays, effects and street recordings. The result is something more profound than a simple Dj mix.
