some soft chip headcanons ( + some fish and chips stuff)

like bizly, he can sing and play the guitar

when ollie has a nightmare, he’ll sit beside the boy’s cot until he falls asleep again— probably running his fingers through the boy’s hair so he can feel safe

sometimes he’ll even play ollie a lullaby, something similar to “blackbird” by the beatles

sometimes chip will hold onto his loved ones a little longer than he should or normally would as if he doesn’t want to let go

he’ll hug ollie a little bit longer than normal or he’ll give jay a kiss on the forehead and just rest his head on top of her while she hugs him

with gillion, he’s always worried about touch though, he’s alway careful almost too careful

usually it’s playful touches/slaps on the shoulder or just offering a hand to help the triton back onto the ship after a ship

yet after the kiss, chip is a lot less worried about it

he’ll leave his hand rested beside gil’s on the edge of the ship so brush their fingers once or twice before holding the triton’s hand

he plays the guitar a few times for people, usually just for himself though—- once time ollie who sang a quiet little tune that chip tried to play along with on the guitar

he plays for gillion a lot as the “oversea music fascinates” him, he feels chip’s random strumming of melodies rather pretty as well

gillion enjoys nights where it’s just him and chip while the human plays the guitar under candlelight, it makes such a warm feeling in both of their chests

the first time they did that gillion kissed him, it was also the first time they had kissed again since desire island so chip was almost stunned

he carefully set down his guitar and just held gillion for a while, the two resting against the side of the ship where they fell asleep that night

the first time chip played for the entire crew ( + lizzie, john and caspian), he was honestly nervous but most of them were drunk off their asses anyway as he played a sea shanty for them all

as he started to play and quietly sing, jay quickly joined in as did the rest of the crew—- which turned into a rather fun night of singing, drinking and dancing
