I imagine that when König doesn't eat enough (especially considering how massive he is, that 6'10 giant in camo.) and when the colder seasons roll around he's all sleepy and slow (think, Wall-E before getting his solar charge.) bit once he get enough food and is warm enough it's like he slowly comes alive and is able to do more and get stuff done.

Yes have you seen that slutty little waist and that itty bitty tummy?? Guy has crazy fast metabolism and stands about 10 feet tall so he needs a lot of food and also a pair of woolen socks and mittens... He has poor blood flow in his feet and hands and if he eats a lot all the blood goes to his stomach. Poor thing 💔

Maybe that’s why he’s so grumpy and therefore -> trigger happy, König is always underfed and cold climates make him look like a huge, stiff, walking icicle. His skin could be blazing like a furnace and still he claims he’s cold, pulls you closer for snuggles and won’t say no to an extra blanket. When his cold shins and feet meet yours, you shriek :( Even worse are the icy fingers that steal their way under your shirt...

forgive me if you've been asked this before or if its annoying, but how did you learn to use colored pencils like that? your art is so special to me.

ty :) I took an art class for a few years where our teacher had us buy prismacolor pencils as one of the art supplies and had us use them kinda like paints, pressing down hard right away and blending the colors together. its not how youre supposed to use them she was just trying to teach us to use color and ig this was more to the point. I picked them up again years after i stopped going to that class just bc they were there and i wanted to play around w them a bit and ended up actually enjoying it when doing it on my own terms lol

#it was a weird class #it was just this russian lady doing private lessons in her house that my mom learned about somehow #I did NOT like those classes all we did was still life and they were hours long which is esp rough when im in high school and busy #and she wanted us to stand while working the whole time bc tradition i guess? #she did allow me to work sitting but thought i was lazy for it. idk dude i dont want to exhaust myself fast for no reason #standing is a lot more tiring than walking #i def did still benefit from those classes just from learning to accurately draw from life #did not like the teacher tho #on one hand shed paid for the art supplies for kids whos families were too poor to (and these are nice expensive supplies) #which is very nice #but on the other she was very homophobic and open about it #like when they legalized gay marriage she went on a rant about how horrible it is that they can adopt kids now #and also kind of racist #she was telling me how she got blocked from a facebook group bc she made a post asking if she could speak to a white person #and she didnt realize she was posting that publicly she thought it was a private message to the group owner #im honestly still not sure i heard/understood her correctly bc it was so bizzare and the only time i ever remember her being racist #she talked abt it like she genuienly was unaware it was racist #she described it as a misunderstanding bc she accidentally posted it publicly instead of privately #like it wouldnt have been racist to ask that at all #also one time she talked about how she saw demons in her home once #also she doesnt vaccinate her kids bc of microchips #she was like a walking russian stereotype lol #anyway heres some ink the artist lore

I was just thinking what a cool job this might be.. what if you were just the person who makes little still images of cute animal figurines doing various activities to post on social media...? like.. show up to work and just spend the whole day like "hmm... this table should be placed to the left a little.. let me set this miniature bagel down in this way... this tiny rabbit should be wearing a scarf", setting the backgrounds, the lighting, etc. ... dream job perhaps lol...

SO #SO so appealing to me... like designing environments in the sims except it's real and tangible.. I get to use them and make little scenes with them and hold them and stare at them and everything except also #they're all kept at work so I don't have boxes of clutter filling home. #unlimited access to every little miniature food ever crafted yet none of the downsides (purchase cost and storage) #etc. etc. ANYWAY ... #Chuckling confidently as I add this onto the 'List Of ''Real'' Jobs I Could Do' which is just a notebook sheet of paper with only like 5 #other similarly unlikely hyperspecific scenarios scribbled down

Let me intorduce you to one of my absolute least favorite northern weathers: ”pääkallokeli” in finnish, aka ”skull weather” !! It’s when everything is icy and slippery, and comes from ppl falling & cracking their skulls :) And boi my trusty old doc martens I’ve used every day for 3 years straight and pure ice roads don’t go well together, I have no traction whastoever and am slipping big time!! Everytime I step a foot outside it’s a gamble

#but I’ve gotten good at the art of slipping but not falling #when u start to slip; gotta not panic and not try to stop moving bc then u will fall 100% bc physics #gotta lean into the fact that u’re now slipping and swing that other leg forward so u’ll just glide instead #it works most of the time so I’m not falling everytime I go outside; very rarely actually #last winter I did like twice (ofc always when there’s ppl around bc that’s how it works; u’ll never fall on ur ass if there’s no witnesses #but the moment there is? u’re done for) #just came back from slipping my way back home and it’s always nice to walk along some person who actually has weather appropriate shoes and #then there’s you who is emotionally attached to a pair of shoes and can’t imagine wearing any other ones #(should go get new soles installed for them before I die but that’s 100€) #november 2023 #2023

one major difference i have found between service industry work (in my case food service but this is widely applicable to similar jobs) and other public-facing positions is that the job itself is often very similar because people is the same, it's just in service everyone approaches you already thinking they're right and you're a fucking idiot and its their god given right to disrespect you, where in other positions even if they are not nice to you they usually acknowledge that you know more than them on issues pertaining to your job. like the difference in behaviour from people who see you as serving them vs helping them is unreal. i am doing literally the exact same things. customer is always right mentality did irreparable damage to the fabric of society

#good idea generator #i loveee the library front desk everyone is polite and people will just ask you anything #they assume so much knowledge and access to data #ill be like 'just one moment let me look that up in the system' [googles name of school + upcoming events] #also not in a mean way but i never realized until i worked here how little anybody is googling anything #i think its funny and i also love to google things for people so i am perfectly suited to this #and some questions even though they are googleable the issue is more that the person isnt totally sure what theyre asking #but like. the library hours are visible on the home page. and outside the building that you just walked into on a sign #PPL DO NOT READ SIGNS. i knew that from other jobs but good lord people do NOT even GLANCE at signs #ppl would fully walk past like 4 signs about a specific thing and proceed to ask me a q about the thing. after waiting in a line #constantly CONSTANTLY ppl are trying to enter or exit through locked doors. clambering over closed signs to do so #its someones job when the library closes specifically to point out the signs and direct ppl to an open exit #and still often people will get up to the automatic doors and be baffled and confused as to why they dont open #but like even this i dealt w/this at my food service job and it was so frustrating #bc when you had to confront these people they would get MAD AT YOU. furious that they didnt read a sign telling them where to line up #but at the library people are polite and apologetic so you know it's not malice or entitlement ppl are just kind of inattentive #monumental difference tbh i actually love front counter so much people are so fun #and i like it when nobody is actively trying to kill me with their mind while we speak
