While not Dulcinea-related, it involves DreamWorks Animation, the place where Dulcinea was created at, which still counts.

Anyways, YouTuber and Voice Actor, Brian Hull, made an animated short where the Ethical Bug is finding a new DreamWorks Villians to redeem...IT GOES AS WELL AS YOU EXPECT!!!!

While I do have a some nitpicks on this video, I think Death is more of an obstacle than a full blown villian like the others, This is a very funny video that makes fun of the villians and thier films while staying true to thier personality.

Give it a watch if you can!

KFP4's looking like it's setting up to be an apology for KFP3 of sorts the way Shrek Forever After was for Shrek the Third. The Chameleon doesn't look much different at all from Kai in terms of goal and the premise of idea of 'stealing forms and chi from other Kung-Fu masters.' Though what little we've seen of Chameleon looks a lot more interesting than Kai's moveset.

But what made Kai the least engaging of the KFP Villains was that his motivation was there and the set up was legitimately solid (by just taking from other Kung-Fu masters his whole life, he had no legacy of his own), but the movie never really explored it at all compared to Tai-Lung or Shen, so Kai just ends up falling flat.

Disappointing still is that he almost was a more compelling villain. Just look at some of this concept art.

There's so much more character here, and a lot more to explore of his relationship with Oogway and why he was so afraid of being forgotten. Hell, he was originally going to be voiced by Mads Mikkelsen.

Until the script got reworked after audiences complained KFP2 being 'too dark', making Kai much goofier with any potential arc getting tossed out the window, and chi ending up being a cheap mcguffin and the only motivation he has for a majority of the movie.

Not my usual post type but imagine a Kung Fu Panda AU but it's one of those human high school AUs

The Furious 5 are a group of friends who all attend the same martial arts club outside of school (run by Shifu ofc) and Po is a new member of the group after his dads encouraged him to do it so he could improve his confidence.

When in school however; Crane and Viper are in the same dance club, Tigress and Mantis are part of the student Council meanwhile Monkey isn't in an after school club but often stays behind after school on Fridays to help the cleaning staff out

Kai, Tai Lung and Shen are a group of friends, your average bully group if anything. Though each one is different in their method of bullying and why they act like that

Kai being the oldest and skilled in a few different forms of martial arts likes picking on others who are more weaker than him to boost his own ego due to being scared of being seen as too soft by his two friends

Tai Lung used to be bullied before he transferred to Jade High (what I'm calling the high school in this nonsensical au) and to avoid it happening again he became a bully, eventually teaming up with Kai. Much to his family's disapproval and disappointment (his family being Shifu and Tigress)

Lastly is Shen, the rich (nepo-baby) of the group, he is vain and likes making rude comments about people's looks. But he will also be physical whrn bullying someone. Think like Regina George from mean girls mixed with Hoshiko Mizudori from Yandere Simulator (I hate that game but she's the only one I can think of that fits Shen for this). Along with this he often gets away with it more due to his parents funding the school during big events.

As for the Chameleon from Kung Fu Panda 4 she's like the stereotypical pick-me who thinks she's part of Kai's squad just bc she's also a bully, though none of those 3 dudes even know she exists

If I actually decide to make more for this I'll probably try making designs for each character and/or short stories on Tumblr based off this au.

I don't do NSFW on this blog but here's some SFW Kai x Reader headcanons:

Kai often will often act mean towards you- teasing you, making remarks and comments- however, this is just his way of showing he likes you: he's not the soppy sort, and prefers to show his affection with actions rather than words.

Things Kai actually does to show affection include subtle acts, such as gently brushing his knuckles against your cheek (usually when he thinks you're not paying attention- especially when he's saying something mean to your face); wrapping an arm around your shoulders or waist to lead you somewhere; tugging on locks of your hair; nudging you with his forehead upon occasion, or even pressing his forehead against yours, holding your chin while he talks to you; things like that, rare and far between, not conspicuous but present.

If you're mortal Kai is very subtly protective over you; again, Kai's not soppy or conspicuously romantic, and in this case he isn't being overly protective- however, he's constantly making sure you eat, covering you with a blanket while you sleep to make sure you stay warm, and he never lets you get in harm's way; he's not going to lose you.

If something happens and you end up almost getting hurt somehow, he's absolutely going to be livid on you, scolding you and yelling at you at the top of his lungs; not because he's angry at you, it's just his way of expressing his worry; you mean everything to him, and if anything ever happened to you...he couldn't bear the thought.

There are times when very sweet, unexpectedly poetic and entirely romantic words will just naturally fall out of Kai's mouth before he can stop it. Usually when you two are alone together- it'll be quiet, and then Kai will just look at you and say something softly, as if he's talking to himself aloud; when he realizes you heard it, he'll immediately get flustered and try to backtrack.

Will also occasionally find any excuse just to pick you up and hold you- to make sure you know how strong he is as an ego boost, and also...he really really likes to hold you in his arms. He wouldn't dare say that aloud, but it's true.

He'll also go on and on to you about his many past campaigns and victories, trying to impress you. Usually when you're alone with him, his arm around you while he recounts some pretty bloody battles...then get all huffy when you don't act impressed.

Will also occasionally do something surprisingly romantic, but these actions are very rare and sparse, and always a surprise- for example, coming up on you unexpectedly, pressing a flower into your hand and planting a kiss on your cheek and then walking away again as if nothing happened.

I had an idea for quite a while...

So, I was incredibly inspired by @seaslugfanclub Disney Villains/ y/n park assistant concept, so I thought something.

What if there was another company (generic name supposedly) that to go against this incredible idea of the Disney Parks to make the Villains turn into actual people decided to do the same thing with non- Disney Villains as well?

And this other y/n had to take care of them, because they are also very chaotic without a lead of some kind?

The Villains i had in mind for this headcanon series are: Rasputin from Anastasia, Eris from Sinbad the Legend of the Seven Seas, Rothbart from Swan Princess, Thrax from Osmosis Jones, Pitch Black from Rise of the Guardians, Mok Swagger from Rock and Rule, maybe the Kung Fu Panda Villains (Tai Lung, Lord Shen and Kai), also the Shrek villains? I'm still undecided tho

They could also interact with the Disney Villains as well, and make up cool scenarios too!
