I see a parallel between KarmaGisa and KaraIri. I think it's the most prominent during the island arc.

Karma and Karasuma are soldiers/warriors, while Nagisa and Irina are assassins.

As warriors, both Karma and Karasuma have more superior physical strength and fighting skills, as repeatedly noted by various characters. During his fight with Grip, Karma even copied Karasuma's fighting style that he learned by observing him during practices.

As assassins, Nagisa and Irina are more sneaky and tricky. During the Island arc we see Irina seducing several men. In the same arc, Nagisa was forced to dress as a girl and managed to attract a guy, becoming his own version of "honey trap" (which is even mentioned by Isogai). Nagisa even used similar kissing technique that Irina had used on him before on Kayano.

(Plus, Nagisa vs Karma fight in the civil war kind of reminds me of Irina's attempt to "assassinate" Karasuma to prove herself to her master, in that Karma/Karasuma seemed to have the upper hand but it ended with them admitting defeat to Nagisa/Irina)

Summary: Karasuma finds himself looking through souvenirs while on a work trip.

Notes: Takes place post-canon. This piece was written for Akaibara, but was too long and at the same time didn't feel like it could be a separate fic.

Karasuma turned the koala plushie over in his hands. It was a small grey-and-white thing, holding onto a heart with the words “I ♡ Australia”. One of those overpriced souvenirs you could get a dime a dozen around the hotel where he was staying.

And yet here he was standing, carefully examining it. Once upon a time, he wouldn’t be caught dead with something like this in his possession, but…

Irina had been away on another mission for a few weeks when he was told of a conference in Canberra that he had to attend. As the head of the Overseas division, it was his obligation, whether with or without his right-hand agent. And so it was now more than a month since the two of them had last seen each other.

He knew she took pride in completing every infiltration she was assigned, that despite having worked for the Ministry only for a few years, she had experience in the field that far outstripped most others. Even so, he wanted to be the first she reported to when she was back, so he could figure out all the things she’d keep from the report but not from his eyes.

His lips twitched into a barely-there smile, imagining how she’d react to being given a plushie like this. She would complain that she was too old, but she’d still keep it somewhere in the room. She adored cute things.

He didn’t have to think for another second before going to the counter and asking the man there to pack it up in a gift box.

Looking up at the shining gates of UA, Nagisa pulled out his anti-sensei knife and twirled the point along his index finger. If he could hitch a ride to Hawaii at Mach 20, save his friends from poisoning and go to outer space, he could definitely do this – face a new school year. A new class.

A new homeroom teacher.

Because, even without time travel, moving on from their mountaintop classroom had always been the plan. Koro-sensei had wanted them to live the best lives they possibly could. Even if he hadn't expected those lives to involve quirks or a quest to stop Shiro – I'm sorry All for One – from taking over the world with antimatter Nomu… well, Nagisa just hoped Koro-sensei would be proud of them anyway.

He twirled the knife one more time, pointedly ignoring the concerned looks shot his way by other students passing through the gates.

“Well, Koro-sensei,” he whispered, determinedly sliding his knife back into its hidden sheath. He hitched up his backpack and squared his shoulders to finally step through the gates. “If you're watching out there… I guess it's future time.”

One thing I like a lot about series that have a fuckton of characters is the fact that it creates so many niches of certain characters/dynamics that its insane.

One example I like to pick out is AC because I think I have seen a niche for pretty much every character you can think of from the more well known ones like RGB Trio, Gakushuu, Korosensei, KaraIri... Then there is a whole niche for the girls only, for the Terasaka Gang, the art kids, ChibaHaya... To the less populated ones like certain villain enjoyers (I see you Gakuhou and Reaper enthusiasts lol) to even the Big 5.

I have seen niches in other big fandoms, but I think AC is the only one where I have encountered pretty much every niche there is and it includes pretty much all the relevant characters.

Are there any other AC niches I should be aware of and I somehow didn't catch? Bc it would definitely be interesting to see since the content AC has is pretty limited for being a completed story.

An unpopular opinion: Some of the stuff Gakuhou does just confuses me. I’ve seen people explain the reason why he is now and I have very much seen season 2 episode 13. But even then, when it comes to Gakuhou, I usually think “But what was the point? What did that prove? Why just why?” And it’s not because I don’t like him (I don’t but that’s not the point) It’s just…I don’t know.

Pairing I am not a fan of: *Sighs* Isogai x Gakuhou…why? Just why? Not only is it a pairing I’m not a fan of, it’s a pairing I down right despise. Legit, just why!?

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): I wouldn’t say “screwed up” but just could have done better, most of the main campus kids. We’re supposed to see them all as assholes but could you really blame them. Since they’re not really reprimanded for their behavior of course most of them are going to keep acting like that. Their teenagers! Teenagers are going to keep acting like assholes if the adults around them enable it. I wish we got to explore the different classes dynamics and stuff. I really think it was a wasted opportunity.

Favourite Friendship: The ikemen duo of course!

Character I most identify with: This answer changes as the day goes on but now I’m going with Okuda! A quote from her that I particularly relate to: “I never know the right way to phrase things or how to express my feelings as a person. But I'm okay with that because equations and formulas always have a right answer. They're free of fussy word games and complicated emotions.” Have you ever heard me say “words are blegh” or something like that? Yeah because words are fucking hard! I don’t know if someone might interpret anything I say in the wrong way and think I’m stupid or something like that and it’s STRESSFUL!
