JAPANESE MOVIES QUICK REVIEW/NOTES
I have a lot of time so I felt like doing this lol anyway this are all my opinions, we all have different opinions so don’t take this too seriously. I was doing this alphabetically before but screw that I’m doing this randomly and still 4 movies per post and I’m using the Japanese original title for the movies.
Here we go~
KATTE NI FURUETERO  |  RATING: 9/10
- Romance, slice of life, friendship - It's a unique story about a socially awkward girl who spent 10 yrs of loving someone she thought she had a connection with. - The main character is really interesting. She's not your usual unsociable girl. She doesn't have much redeeming qualities but the fact that she had this vulnerable, anxious, and hoping sides makes the character beautiful. You sometimes see her as really weird but then you understand why she's like that. - I really like it when the lead isn't someone that seems to only exist on books or movies. Flawed characters are the best :)
ICHIREI SHITE KISS  |  RATING: 8/10
- I've read a few of the chapters of this manga. Dropped the manga since it didn't appeal to me. - This movie isn't bad tho. It has some usual shoujo manga story elements to it and it also has its own charms. - I'm a fan of Elaiza Ikeda so I watched it. - For Kyudo lovers don't worry they properly showed the beauty of the sport.
IE NI KAERU TO TSUMA GA KANARAZU                                               SHINDA FURI WO SHITE IMASU  |  RATING: 9/10
- Slice of life, romance, comedy, family - This starts really funny, the title itself is already funny, but as the movie progresses there are parts that get you teary eyed. - I love this thing about Japanese movies and dramas in general. The way they portray different lives of different couples. How they don't add too much drama, how situations are so natural and yet it moves you. How they don't need to have antagonists to make stories interesting. Probably the main reason I keep watching Jdoramas and movies.
50 KAIME NO FIRST KISS |  RATING: 10/10
- Inspired by the hit movie 50 First Dates starring Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler. - It turned out really good tbh. I was expecting this to be really dramatic but everything was just perfectly mixed. It was 40% funny, 40% sweet, and 20% dramatic.
>>>Check this tag for the movies and this one for the dorama

In Tremble All You Want, Matsuoka Mayu plays Yoshika, an imprudent, quirky character who at 24 is still stuck up in the past. Based on the novel "Katte ni Furuetero" by Wataya Risa, the live action is directed by Ohku Akiko and released by Phantom Films. Entered in competition at the recent Tokyo International Film Festival, the movie explores a young woman's issues in a dream-like atmosphere - a bit surreal - yet honest, even romantic, in its depiction.
