I’m gonna say something kinda controversial, but out of all the forms of advertisements, product placement is probably A: the most likely to convince me to buy something, and B: least annoying.
Like, I know nothing about resin or terrazzo, but if I’ve seen enough product placement for Total Boat on Evan & Katelyn’s YouTube channel that if I ever needed to work with some, I’d probably buy that brand.
Lately I’ve been looking to move away from Holo Taco’s products, and a fav nail YouTuber of mine, Kelli Marissa, often uses ORLY’s Bonder Base. They even sent a massive refill jug for free because, hey, that’s free product placement. Now I’m considering switching to ORLY Bonder Base once my Holo Taco Long Lasting Base Coat runs out.
Genuinely, well-placed product placement is a millions times better and more successful than any other form of advertisement, to me; and it’s crazy that companies still chose to use intrusive videos and pop-up ads that annoy the piss outta people and upset a decent amount of them enough to actually prevent them from buying the product.

𝒄𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒐𝒓: @hercesofourtime!
the last thing that marissa ever wanted to do was push alex away. but that seemed to be one of the things she’d been the most good at. ignoring the good things in her life and focusing on the bad. that wasn’t the same mistake that the cooper girl was willing to do. not again. it just became an unbreakable habit. with that thought lingering in her mind and what alex could've possibly thought about her now. hoping it wasn't too late to make amends or fix any damage she might've caused.
❛❛alex, hey. it's me. it's marissa. . .❜❜ marissa started to say when she dialed her number and was planning on just leaving a voicemail. crossing her fingers that alex would've responded at somepoint. if it didn't come anytime soon. ❛❛i just wanted you to know that if you ever need anything.. i'm still here. maybe we can become better friends? get a coffee or something to catch up? i'll be around so let me know if you're still in town.❜❜ marissa then hung up the phone and waited; she'd hope that alex didn't mind the sudden call. but marissa felt as though she should've reached out. maybe now was a good of a time as any?

@story1ines liked this for a starter, for Alex & Marissa
"Hey," she called out when she saw a familiar face. "I didn't expect to see you here." A small breath left her lips, "because of how things ended last time I saw you." Maybe they would get their chance again, or at least figure where they stood. Alex had a few questions that she wanted answers to, and hopefully she would be ready to hear those answers if she actually had the courage to ask them.

What I Read In April 2022 | Monthly Reading Wrap-Up
#BookBlogger #ReadingWrapUp
I’ve been so behind when it comes to posting on this blog. If you are a regular reader, you would know that I have been focused on revision and my final exams, so I have not been posting as frequently as I would’ve liked– hence why this Month Reading Wrap-Up is a little late (we are literally in the middle of May! lol)
That being said, it is better late than never.
Now about April; I would say…
