I love how all the pebbles represent the creativity Kongo actively discouraged—they sing and dance; they tell stories; they process emotions. Kongo fostered a culture devoid of emotion, evident in his dismissal of Phos' crying as a flaw. Phos was always seen as a burden to the other gems because they put so much value onto things. This is why Phosphophyllite is now finally valued in the new society.

I love the little design details in the Kongou class.
Kongou and Kirishima both have chrystal accessoires
Everyone's name starts either with "H" or "K" (so far so good), which in turn gives us the following results concerning hair colour:
K = Blonde
K = Brown
H = Brown
H = Blonde
Of every hair colour we also have a "short" and "long" version.
Blonde would be Haruna (long) and Kongou (short (her hair isn't actually short, but it's always showed pinned up which counts as far as I am concerned)).
Brown would be Hiei (long) and Kirishima (short).
Every sister carries another as her eyes.
Kongou's eyes are red, Hiei's biolights are red/pink.
Hiei's eyes are yellow/gold, Haruna's lights are yellow.
Haruna's eyes are green, Kirishima's lights are green.
Kirishima's eyes are purple, Kongou's lights are purple.
ALL FOUR went batshit crazy and with that I mean
1. Kongou's berserk run
2. Kirishima's mental breakdown when she was hunting Iona in Yokosuka
3. Manga Haruna who ALSO went on a berserk run and had to be calmed down by the Admiralty Code itself
4. Hiei in DC after having one (1) conversation with Iona
Our two blondes also wear mostly dark clothing, while the brunettes wear more colourful/lighter stuff.
Everyone except Haruna also wears lipstick, but I don't really see a pattern here, tbh.
Also, I dare to assume that Kongou's mental model is albinistic, which makes the whole black ship thing insanely funnier since someone essentially was like: "Oh! Let's give the melanistic ship, who is the literal reason her fleet is called Black Fleet, an albinistic mental model!" and then went with it.

Railgun headcanon: Kongo Mitsuko is a trans girl. she always makes sure to introduce herself by name and school(which is notably a girls school) and also transferred in second year so it could be entirely possible.
Bonus headcanon, she went to a male counterpart of tokiwadai and they have an exchange program for their trans student's so that when one of them comes out, there is a relatively easy path to continue.

Ittorou parenting/kid hcs. Drop em 🔫
I don't really have any im sorry but i can think of some real quick (not really it's been a good amount of hours. I was reading their lore stuff to look for inspiration.) And so i finally got some stuff to share!
These will be MY headcanons of the two! So let me introduce them!!
The shorter one is named Otogi and the Taller one is named Kongou! Not really sure if the names Arataki Otogi and Arataki Kongou have a ring to it but that would probably be their proper full name.
Of course they wouldn't be ittos children without him being an "embarrassing" dad and giving them nicknames! Itto likes to call Otogi "Onigiri" and Kongou "King". Itto and Gorou love them both dearly.
Since Otogi is younger (age 16) and smaller (a little shorter than gorou) (and reminds itto of gorou) itto started calling him onigiri because he's small and has long white hair. His personality is almost more on par with ittos. However when it's time for Otogi to get serious he's tends to get a more intimidating look in his face (itto would describe it as gorou but not as scary). He is scared to make gorou mad because he knows gorou will lecture him. Otogi likes to spar whenever he gets the chance (usually with itto)(trying to get as strong as him)). He's trying his best to wield a claymore but it usually tends to be a little bigger than him unfortunately. Since he struggles with a claymore itto thought it would be better for him to use a sword. Otogi is surprisingly very agile with a sword (sometimes itto has trouble to keeping up with him). Whenever Otogi want to go on a job/commission itto usually sends ushi with him to keep an eye on him/make sure he's okay.
Kongou is a few years older than Otogi (3 years older actually (age 19))(He's a little shorter than itto). Kongou likes to hear stories of gorous time in the military and how gorou became a general! Kongou became so interested at such a young age he wanted to follow into his fathers footsteps and is currently a captain of his own unit! Kongou likes to train with gorou hoping to hone his archery skills. Gorou is so impressed with how good of a shot Kongou is he thinks that he might have surpassed him. Sometimes they go hunting to let out some steam. They also like to go mountain climbing together (you can tell who he was more attached to as a child (not his fault gorou spoiled him so much but stopped because of Otogi)). Sometimes Kongou finds itto a little annoying just because he's loud but he knows that it comes from a place of love and that itto would do anything to protect his family. Since Kongou is a captain of his own unit he's not home as much as he'd like but he tries his best to visit his family when he can.

The by far funniest thing about manga Kongō is how she is completely unbothered by the entire "I have a child with Gunzō and Choukai" thing while EVERYONE else is like "EEEEEEEEEEEEH!?"
