Since other people sent you their rarepairs... What do you think about Korekiibo? Personally I just think it would be really interesting, given how much K1-B0 wants to learn about humanity and how Korekiyo is probably the best person to teach him. And I can see Kiyo also being very impressed by K1-B0, first as a thing humanity created but later on learning to see just how human he really is and falling in love <3

I've never thought about this ship before but the way you put it makes it sound interesting! Headcanons for Korekiibo?? I just think they’re cute together and Kiyo lets Kiibo rest his head in his lap while he talks about humanity.

Almost surprised I haven't gotten a request for them before in all this time lol

They aren’t the most experienced in terms of romantic attraction, so when one of them realized their feelings, they talked everything out before settling on going on a few dates, eventually leading to their relationship.

Kiibo is slightly more of a romantic, just by viewing the other couples in their class, though neither of them quite go overboard with romantic gestures or anything like that.

While Kiyo is away studying other cultures and societies, Kiibo feels a bit lonely, so they always seem attached at the hip when Kiyo gets back and shows him everything he learned.

Although neither of them are really touchy-feely, Kiyo still lets Kiibo rest his head in his lap while he tells Kiibo about the kinds of things he’d seen and learned about various cultures across the world.

Sometimes Kiibo worries about humanity in the fact that he is, in fact, a robot, but Kiyo is always quick to remind him about all the things that make him human at the end of the day.

HI sorry for the late answer to this ask, i've been so busy orz

i loooove korekiibo so much. i enjoy a lot of kiyo ships bc he's my guy but korekiibo is definitely towards the top (second maybe to momoguji bc i have deep thoughts on that one too but momoguji is waaaaay more far-removed from canon). i can't think of any interactions between them that made me ship them, it's more just the concept of them together? not in canon proper though - kiyo needs to work on his shit before he gets in another relationship. which, um, he isn't really doing in the game. rip.

it's mainly the idea of humanity that ties them together. kiyo is so in love with humanity itself, both as a concept and as it manifests in the people around him, and it's not just something he likes; it's his profession, and a huge part of his identity. kiibo, on the other hand, while he experiences human emotions, doesn't quite understand them, and he doesn't quite understand humans in general - but he wants to.

i think, in that way, there's an interesting parallel between them: kiyo, who loves humans to the point of devoting a significant part of his life to learning about them, and who genuinely does seem to understand humans quite well; and kiibo, who loves humans and is trying to understand them, but isn't quite there.

in my headcanon, there's also a parallel in their status as "other" due to a lack of humanity. for kiibo, this is just canon; he's a robot and clearly feels that difference, for both better and worse at times. for kiyo, this is just my headcanon, but i think kiyo sees himself as distinctly separate from other humans. on one level, this is to preserve a sort of academic integrity, since he studies humans. deeper than that, though, i think kiyo has serious issues with how he perceives himself due to his sister's abuse. to kiyo, part of what is beautiful about humans is their suffering - there is something tragic and poetic in misery, to him, although he isn't necessarily a sadist - and their independent will. but kiyo's suffering just hurts, no matter how hard he tries to convince himself otherwise, and kiyo's will is in large part dominated by his sister. if kiyo's suffering is so ugly and his will so dependent, then he isn't really human, is he? biologically, sure, he is, but on a spiritual level, he's just a vessel for his sister. that's how he sees it, at least.

SO. all that to say: they are both outside looking in on humanity, which they admire, albeit in different ways. the thing is, i don't think either of them would see each other as "outsiders"; while kiyo knows kiibo is a robot, kiibo still has many of the things that he finds beautiful in humans, and besides, he's a product of human ingenuity! as for kiibo, he doesn't really have any reason to see kiyo as anything other than a human. i think, if given a reason to really sit down and get to know each other, they could help each other feel less alien, and i think kiyo would also enjoy teaching kiibo about humans - after all, kiyo clearly loves to teach, and kiibo likes to learn.

Headcanons of my Danganronpa OT8-9

Firstly, Shuichi is I believe canonically bi but I could be wrong

He works as a detective after the events of Danganronpa, working along side Makoto and Hajime and Kyoko

He's married to Kokichi Oma to the public eye

Will wear suits but often wear more comfy sweaters or hoodies when he's not in the office or impressing anyone

Not the biggest fan of his edit but whatever

Was raised in the foster system after his parents were deemed unfit to raise him

His D.I.C.E. goons are actually fellow foster kids or once foster siblings who swore to protect the little gremlin without fail, they all lived a life like Robin Hood and Lil John or better yet like Peter Pan and his Lost Boys

Is ftm transgender and often all his clothes were stolen by one of his "henchmen"

Fell for Shuichi and Rantaro at first sight

Cut his hair with help from Kokichi a month after the game ended

Refused to touch rope for a while but would use it as an anxiety calmer after a bit

Had Himiko saved as "mummy" as a joke on his phone (based off this fic) and had to change it after a coworker saw it

Like Korekiyo she wears her ring around her neck

When they got married she cut her hair shorter for him

Does have the best relationship with her family but won't cut them out unless they say something about her dears

Owns a art studio where she does online and physicals art classes with paint and clay

Is kind of like Tamaki from OHSHC where she's a bastard affair child from a wealthy Japanese man who only came to Japan after he wouldn't produce an heir with his wife

Her school was down the road from Korekiyo's and they met before the killing game

I'm not sure if you're the Korekiibo Anon from before or if I've attracted a lot of Korekiibo fans but either way I'm enjoying the propaganda.

I really can't say more than what you've already said. Korekiyo is always so eager to talk about human culture and Kiibo is eager to learn about human culture, it fits into place pretty well.
