My Top Solo Leveling Ships
Wanted to talk a little about them, so I'll just list three main reasons why I like them otherwise this post will be endless. There are a lot of other ships I like, but these are the main ones
It's a little unhinged, but that shouldn't be new
1. ChoiBaek
Tumblr media
This shouldn't be a surprise
They are aware of the other's intentions without needing to tell each other. They both read other people and each other very well. The only reason they don't get along is because when both of them want the same thing (recruiting Sung Jin-Woo, a gate in the area, etc), they are both very willing to fight for what they want and use their perceptiveness to their advantage. One of them doesn't mind having his thoughts being known while the other minds a lot
They both want their guild become stronger but not at the expense of their members. They have the same morals, but the actions they take because of their morals are different. Baek Yoon-Ho wants to make his guild stronger by focusing on what his members need as individuals (paying them more, training new recruits with stronger and more experienced members, etc). Choi Jong-In wants to make his guild stronger by focusing on improving how the teams work together (hunting in a orderly way to minimize injuries as much as possible, taking a leadership role to make sure none of the members are falling behind, making sure the teams are adequately prepared, etc). Both of them care a lot about other people, though they don’t make it obvious to others
Both know the other is strong (Choi Jong-In defends Baek Yoon-Ho when Sung Jin-Woo thinks Yoon-Ho is struggling during the Jeju sparring match while Baek Yoon-Ho is aware of Choi Jong-In's strength during the Jeju Raid) but tend to underestimate themselves (Baek Yoon-Ho believing he wouldn't have been able to win against the Japanese S-Ranks when he held out for a while on his own against two of them, and Choi Jong-In seeing his title as "a joke" after comparing himself to Sung Jin-Woo when he always has to limit how much of his powers he actually uses because of the people around him or the environment he is in)
This got long anyways... sorry. The others are shorter
2. SungPark
Tumblr media
I wanted to see them more than the main couple
They are both selfless to the point where they make sure others are alright before taking care of themselves
They both want their family to be safe and happy and make taking care of their children their priority. Park Kyung-Hye tells her son it's okay for him to be a hunter, even though it's the reason why Sung Il-Hwan is gone, and she understands that it's something both her husband and son feel like they need to do
The way Kyung-Hye kept waiting for her husband to return home and knew the exact moment when he wouldn't be coming back Ripped my heart to SHREDS-
They were so in love laskdjfasdlf
3. MinLee
Tumblr media Tumblr media
AKA younger!SungPark
Both of them have similar trauma, so they're able to help each other, especially since they're both retired
Even they have trauma, they have put their fears aside to help people more. Both participate in the last Jeju raid despite Min Byung-Gyu being traumatized from the last one and Lee Ju-Hee being traumatized from her previous raids
The way Lee Ju-Hee hardly showed up after she told Sung Jin-Woo she was retiring and Min Byung-Gyu barely being mentioned besides his trip to Japan before the Jeju Raid? There's so much potential for them to actually meet-
I see them as the "bunny couple"
4. ChulWoo
Tumblr media
This was actually one of the first ships I really got into
The way Woo Jin-Chul knew Sung Jin-Woo from the beginning and was watching Sung Jin-Woo get stronger without realizing it at first
The way Woo Jin-Chul looked at Sung Jin-Woo in the new timeline when he remembered the previous timeline-
Honestly, in my opinion, Sung Jin-Woo had more potential with Woo Jin-Chul than Cha Hae-in. Like, Sung Jin-Woo avenging Go Gun-Hee not just for his sake but for Woo Jin-Chul? Sung Jin-Woo actually trying to not give Jin-Chul a headache but failing? I love their dynamic
5. HeeSeok
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is probably the most cracked ship out of these, but it's cute
Both of them have a caring, almost parent-like nature (Park Hee-Jin looking after Han Song-Yi during the Red Gate and Eun-Seok looking after and warning Min Byung-Gyu during the third Jeju Raid)
It's actually possible for them to have known each other despite it not being stated in canon (Eun-Seok was a member of the Fiend Guild, and Park Hee-Jin could have been a member of the Fiend Guild as well before leaving for White Tiger. The game might change this part about Park Hee-Jin, but I'll stick with it for now)
The way Eun-Seok wears a scarf with his hunter's outfit, and then Park Hee-Jin gets stuck in a frost Red Gate? And Park Hee-Jin looks somewhat okay despite it being cold, so it seems like both are fine in cold environments
Actually, in my monarch/ruler AU, Frost Monarch!Eun-Seok could be the reason Park Hee-Jin gets stuck there in that Red Gate...hmm
Feel free to ask for more of my thoughts and talk about your own below

SL characters as movie stars AU!
Sung Jin-woo
has been acting since he was a teenager. Though, he only gets lesser roles until he grows in the acting industry, thus earning the "glow up" as well the more he takes on roles. By the time he's in his twenties, Jin-woo receives lead roles and has never left ever since due to the impact of his performance that is hard to be seen as a supporting character. His movies range from drama, adventure, and action — though, he spend most of his time in the action genre. Jin-woo does his own stunts as he does martial arts and working out as his hobbies. Whenever he gets partnered up with someone, dating rumors always spark up, so he tends to avoid having a partner for the sake of protecting his zone. He improvises some of his lines and is very professional.
Cha Hae-in
a former athlete to one of the country's biggest stars. Due to her sweetheart persona, she often gets roles in soap operas, dramas, and romance, though she wants to take on the action genre to hone her skills. Her management got her stunt doubles, much to her dismay, until they trusted her enough to do her own stunts. Hae-in's skills are very realistic that every time she cries in her scenes, several of the production cry as well, thus allowing her to earn many awards. She gets along with her co-workers and is even said to be that some of her leading men develop a crush on her. However, she has not dated at least one of them, even outside her career, as she chooses to focus on her job.
Woo Jin-chul
a star who has been featured in international movies, hence becoming a multilingual because of his passion in learning new languages before his departure from South Korea. He is usually stern, but is very friendly to his co-workers, as well as his fans. Jin-chul takes on both protagonist and antagonist roles, although he secretly likes his villain roles more than his hero ones. He does his own stunts and is skillful with holding guns.
Choi Jong-in
most of his roles are those wherein he's the son of a millionaire or just a rich person who owns a big company. He hardly gets main roles, but the impact in his performances even as a supporting character are what made him prominent in the industry. Jong-in also has roles where he's an antagonist, which his fans prefer more; it is also said that some of his castmates or co-workers feel quite intimidated by him.
Baek Yoon-ho
a prominent action star who does his own stunts. Not once he has appeared in movies that are anything but action. Despite being in his twenties, Yoon-ho receive roles where he is a single father who will do anything to protect his family, thus capturing the hearts of the young actors and actresses he works with. He also helps his castmates in training for fighting scenes, thus forming a bond with them as well. Yoon-ho has his own charity that he donates a sufficient amount of money in for helping tigers and other wild animals.
Lee Ju-hee
one of the industry's dearest sweethearts. Her movies are mostly in the slice of life genre, specifically romance. Regardless of what she believes, Ju-hee never fails to create chemistry with the ones she works with, especially to those who have partnered up with her. She receives both main and supporting roles. Lee Ju-hee may have appeared in horror and action films, but she prefers to stay in the slice of life genre despite not minding to step out of her comfort zone.
Lim Tae-gyu
a actor whose roles are primarily supporting, yet has many main roles as well. His skill ranges from drama, comedy, and action. Tae-gyu mostly does his own stunts, always allotting his time in training once he receives the script. He's charismatic, yet isn't necessarily great when it comes to romantic chemistry because of the vibe he frequently gives out. He's friends with many famous stars such as Baek Yoon-ho, Choi Jong-in, Ma Dong-wook, Min Byung-gyu, Sung Jin-woo, and Cha Hae-in, and has revealed of his wish of being able to be in the same film as them together.
Min Byung-gyu
an actor who has shown up in various genres. When it comes to slice of life, Byung-gyu mostly gets leading roles, and sometimes, he gets the "second male lead" roles, which brings more impact to the viewers. But as for other genres like action and horror, Byung-gyu takes on supporting roles; he is one of the actors who has a stunt double and still gets to do certain stunts depending on his capability. And when it comes to the historical genre, that is when Byung-gyu gets most excited and believes he does his roles better in period dramas than the rest, partly because he is a big fan of historical dramas which he views his other roles differently. Byung-gyu is great at improvising his lines that the director only has to tell him the background of the scene and Byung-gyu knows what to do next, which somehow makes some actors feel challenged as they are not sure if they can go along with Byung-gyu's improvised lines. But, Byung-gyu always does his best to help his co-stars and not make them feel pressured.
Eun-seok
one of the country's lesser known actors who is known for getting background roles. Eun-seok hardly appears in films, yet is friends with a lot of big stars in the industry. The reason being that he got severely injured in set once, which has scarred him and chose to no longer show up in filming unless he feels like doing so.
Yoo Jin-ho
a supporting actor who is well-known for being Sung Jin-woo's "sidekick" as he had been acting alongside him for years. Yoo Jin-ho specializes in roles that are comedic relief — he doesn't mind it since that means he doesn't have a lot of lines to memorize. Despite being an actor himself, Jin-ho is not afraid to unleash his inner "fanboy" when it comes to expressing his support in actors and actresses he admires.
Park Hee-jin
an actress who is known for her background or supporting roles. Hee-jin excels from soap operas to action movies. Her roles are usually helping the main character and defending them from the antagonist(s).
Ma Dong-wook
a versatile actor in his fifties who has different roles in various genres, whether it be a father or someone the main characters seek help from. He shares his experiences to his fellow stars as his way of helping them in filming and has a lot of actors/actresses wishing to act in the same movie as him; not because of his talent, but also his kind nature that he treats everyone younger than him as his children.
Liu Zhigang
China's rising action star. A likeable and charming actor whose roles are both protagonist and antagonist. Zhigang does his own stunts and likes to go to the extreme where no editing shall be involved. He's one of the faces in the industry whose management cannot simply allow to be part of a film unless the paycheck is immense and does not tarnish Zhigang's talent. In every film he is in, it receives many awards that reach up to internationals. Zhigang has acted in international films, which makes him fluent in English after being casted alongside stars in different countries.
Thomas Andre
a powerful actor in the USA who is popular for his antagonistic roles. Thomas enjoys playing the bad guy. And what makes him likeable is that he donates half of his money to charities and has his own foundation for children with special needs and disabilities. He is funny and tends to joke around in set, along in conventions where he gets to communicate with fans and gives them the best time in their lives.
Laura
an actress who excels most in the action genre. She films her scenes effortlessly and smoothly without needing a second take. Laura learns martial arts off-screen and knows how to hold a gun; she is also sassy and has the kind of humor that makes her co-stars adore working with her despite her stern and cold demeanor.
Goto Ryuji
a versatile actor in Japan who appears in dramas and action. His roles are mostly in the villain side, which what makes him intimidating to other actors. Goto prefers to work with those who are professional and hardly messes up more than twice otherwise he thinks they are wasting his time. However, he is usually gently to those who are younger and new to the acting industry, he looks out for them and won't hesitate to scold the production if the first time actors ever get hurt in set.

🕰📰 Throwback Thursday: [27122017] Sibling-like Chemistry"… Park Gyuyoung X Lee Junho, Heart-Stealing Eye-Smiles
Behind-the-scenes photos of actress Park Gyuyoung, currently starring in "Just Between Lovers", have been released.
Park Gyuyoung is emitting vibrant charms in JTBC's Monday-Tuesday drama "Just Between Lovers", where she plays 'Somi', a web designer at Seowon Architect's Office. She often bickers and inadvertently puts Won Jinah (played by Ha Moonsu) in jeopardy at work. However, she turns out to be a tender-hearted and warm character. While she often plays hard to get, she subtly takes care of Won Jinah, showcasing the charm of a female tsundere, brightening the atmosphere of the drama. In terms of love, she has a unique intuition, surprising others by perceiving the feelings of Lee Junho's character (Lee Kangdu) and delivering subtle humour.
In photos taken with Lee Junho, who is from the same agency, their laughing faces strangely resemble each other, giving off a sibling-like vibe. Both actors charm with their endearing eye-smiles and kind impressions, warming the hearts of the viewers. Meanwhile, Park Gyuyoung has completed filming for the movies "Monsters" and "Wrestler" and is awaiting their release. She also made a notable appearance showcasing her goddess-like beauty in the music video for DAY6's "I Like You", which was released on the 6th.

From Now On Showtime. 8.5
Story: 9
Acting: 10
Chemistry: 10
Comparable to: Bring It In Ghost (kdrama) ; Hotel Del Luna (kdrama)
The drama for me took a few episodes in to fully get hooked into. By episode three though I was totally engaged. It’s one of those dramas that actually get better with each episode. The cast is also what makes it so wonderful. Everyone is exceptionally talented and get along perfectly. It’s hilarious, lite, and cheesy. If you’re a romcom fan this will definitely be a delight.

SOLO LEVELING VAMPIRES AU!
a world where vampires live among the society, but only a few attain the power of immortality. Sung Jin-woo lives a simple life with his family until his father disappears all of a sudden. No body is found, thus leaving the family to mourn as if Ill-hwang is dead, but people believe that Ill-hwang had fallen into a prey for the vampires, which causes Kyung-hye, Jin-ah, and Jin-woo to believe in it and grieve even more.
Kyung-hye tries on various jobs, Jin-ah is trying hard to focus on her school and has been forbidden from stopping just to find a job, and Jin-woo is doing everything he can to support his family.
But until one night. . . Jin-woo finds himself encountering a small group of vampires feeding on an innocent human. Shocked, he slowly backs away, but his scent still manages to steal the vampires' attention. They growl with their chins coated in crimson and chase Jin-woo for his blood.
Not long after, Jin-woo gets injured and loses a lot of blood. The vampires inch closer, and Jin-woo is prepared for the end of the line and waits whether his blood loss will kill him or the vampires, but— unbeknownst to him, someone rushes in and rips the vampires into pieces.
Jin-woo wakes up in the same location, but this time, he's still alive. His shirt is torn and bloodied. He wonders what could've possibly happened to him.
One afternoon, he notices something strange. Jin-woo starts to smell blood even more just a few meters away. His stomach is empty as if he hadn't been eaten in months. And most of all, he's starting to find raw meat delicious. But the worst part is— he almost attacks Jin-ah and scares the heck out of his mother.
Frightened, Jin-woo runs away into the streets. However, with the amount of people around, his hunger starts to become stronger. Jin-woo fights against the urge, his gums aching at the sensation of his teeth growing sharper and his nails growing into claws.
Suddenly, someone covers his mouth and drags him away into a deep alley. Jin-woo finally gets to breathe and meets a young woman around his age, with short blonde hair and glowing golden eyes; she introduces herself as Cha Hae-in and reveals that she's the one who stopped his death by turning him into a vampire.
Jin-woo gets instantly mad and blames her for turning him into a monster. Hae-in justifies that she's just trying to save his life. But eventually, Jin-woo calms down and suddenly remembers his dad, who has been presumed dead and believed to be killed by vampires.
With this, he realizes that he can bring justice to his father's disappearance by hunting down each vampire in the country until he finds his answer.
Cha Hae-in — the one who saved Jin-woo by turning him into a vampire, had been a vampire for six years after an unknown vampire broke into her house and killed her family, yet took pity on her and forced her into becoming a bloodthirsty monster.
Choi Jong-in — the only person in his family who got turned into a vampire, but keeps it as a secret from them for the sake of protecting them. He's one of the richest vampires and knows how to control his urges for a long period of time.
Woo Jin-chul — a vampire who has immortality and has been known for maintaining order between vampirism and humanism.
Baek Yoon-ho — a vampire who only feasts on criminals.
Lim Tae-gyu — a vampire with immense speed and is also an immortal.
Min Byung-gyu — a vampire who doesn't actually like drinking on people and prefers to drink on bags instead, but in vampire society, only drinking on blood bags is unhealthy unless it's new, so no matter how he's against it, Byung-gyu is forced to feed on people, whether it's criminals or not. Most vampires think that he's weak.
Lee Ju-hee — one of Jin-woo's closest friends and the person whom Jin-woo entrusts to take care of his family while he's gone.
Yoo Jin-ho — also Jin-woo's closest friend and volunteers to watch over Kyung-hye and Jin-ah.
