taissa is so so tragic in that she literally can’t trust herself to keep her loved ones safe even though she desperately wants to… like, whenever she realizes things she’s done while sleepwalking, all she wants to do is fix it or keep it from happening again (assuring steve she won’t hurt him like biscuit while knowing she can’t actually do anything about it)… and she tries to fight off the other part of herself to keep them safe but only ever manages to make things worse (simone ending up in the icu)…

I don't think Nicky is given his proper credit for having raised the twins all on his own while barely being an adult and still producing functioning humans who did not face any misery under his guidance, because of him. The teens who must be way more difficult to handle than the adult twins. The distrust. The helplessness. The fear. Nicky worked through all of that and the twins trust him with it. I don't think Nicky as stupid as we make him out to be for fun- sure, he seems to be overcompensating for the lack of chatter from the minyards- but he too has faced a lot of trauma in his childhood because of his own family, left the only comfort he found in Germany, and knew how to make the boys feel a little safe with him. I think Nicky deserves some fucking appreciation for it.

He knew how Top played around with the fellow students, he had seen him with Boston and listened to Ray’s worried tones. He knew he was asking for trouble from the very beginning.

 Here he was in the arms of the man who could have been a devil, scorching a flame in his pants, when he probably should be studying for his Business Major mid-term. Seriously, he should be studying. Not to mention his shift was coming up in an hour at the hostel he ran with Boston and Ray.

But you know, horny hot boy in his bed–in his arms–and he sorta liking the attention.

Mew shakes himself and tries to pull away from Top when he noticed that Top was staring while he got lost in thought after he asked the pivotal question.

Instead, Top relaxes and brings Mew into the crook of his neck and hums. Not responding to the question in the air yet this soothes Mew’s wandering worries.

Mew closes his eyes and rests his fingers upon Top’s taut chest, tapping to the beat of his heart.
