people will be "okay" with and "support" bisexuality until a bi girl is with a man and suddenly they're not bi enough or they're actually straight and say they're bi for attention...okay worms for brains 🙄😒

how would you go about getting a friend to read a 7000 page, 551 chapter novel. theoretically.
Okay I'm going for a genuine answer here instead of an easy joke; let's go.
Starting on a personal note, the most crucial thing is that my friends know that they always end up enjoying whatever I recommend (my hit rate here has dangerously inflated my ego, btw). Secondly, I never shut up about ORV. Even when I'm not being Loud about ORV I'm almost constantly going "Wow this is just like ORV" completely seriously. It's kind of an issue if I'm being honest with you. Thirdly, if they ask me if the length is worth it I say "hands down." No hesitation. Zero doubt. Trust. And so all of this together tends to do the trick.
As for how I bring up and recommend ORV to individual people, I usually tailor it to the person. Sometimes it's an elevator pitch ("it's like a fusion of X and Z that you like!"). Sometimes I talk about certain interpretations or allegories ("ORV as a whole functions as an earnest allegory for--and outright depiction of--trauma, it's cycles, and healing from such."). Sometimes I'll hype up a specific character I know they'll love (my go-to's for this are usually YooHanKim (they are a set), JHW, Anna Croft, and Bihyung, based on the person). It'll just depend on what sort of thing tends to initially hook the one I'm talking to.
All that being said, if you want a detailed and specific pitch, @ot3 has written an amazing spoiler-free ORV post that opens up with a couple of pitches, so I recommend checking that out--either to link to people directly or draw inspiration from in your own ORV recommendation efforts! Also just like...Read the post. It's Good. 👍
And there you go! I hope this arms you well for how to get someone to read ORV. Now go out there and get their asses.
