Final Thoughts On 2022 & Positivity Tag

2022 was a lot of things. Good, bad, world-changing, and ever consistent. I finished the Animatronic Saga (first series). I realized I was aro. I got good at being a college student and better at adulting. I made new friends, strengthened old connections, and let people who were bad for me out of my life. I got better at managing my anxiety, my obsessiveness, and my body image issues. I started the secondary series. I worked through losing my dog the previous year and fell in love with my family's new puppy. I learned new skills. I made mistakes and worked through them. I wrote my first poetry collection and found an artist to collaborate with. I read 77 books and more fanfiction than I could possibly hope to put a number to. I got a Webtoon account to read Heartstopper and Lore Olympus. I spent time with my friends and time with myself and I can truthfully say that, most days, I was really and truly happy.

And I got on here.

I found blogs that are safe places for me. And then I found all of you, who make me feel even safer. I've always been so terrified of social media-- and I still am, to be honest, but I love each and every one of you so very dearly. Those i know by name-- whether real or pen-- and those I hope to soon. You are truly some of the most supportive and uplifting individuals I have had the honor of befriending and I can't wait to spend 2023 with you guys by my side.
