what are some of your favorite things about your fav character(s) in miraculous?

my favorite things about my favorite characters... excellent question @luckychatons!

Plagg: His capability to give zero fucks. Plagg just wants to sleep and eat cheese and have fun, and I love him for that! He's also like me in that at first it might seem like he doesn't care about people, but in reality he cares very deeply. His relationship with Adrien is very dear to me!

Marinette: She's (almost) as clumsy as I am! :D Some silly kinship there (not in a kinning way idk what that even is still) but I also love that she's very capable, and I appreciate her role as leader especially because like, she's a teenage girl (mixed-race, too). We need more characters like her, but they're still so rare!! And she's also cool because she is very clearly a girl and likes girly things, fashion for example, but is also a strong hero who knows how to stand up for herself and others. I hate it when female characters are afforded any less agency than what she gets, but all too often, women only serve as the love interest or have to be perfect all the time. Marinette is not Captain Marvel or Black Widow (who is also very cool but is too often the eye candy) and I love her for that.

Adrien: Quiet, patient, understanding, risk-taking, courageous, (book)smart; he's a lot of things I am or try to be, and then some! I also relate to him a lot. Like if there is one character in all of ml that I can project onto the most, it's him. We could get into angsty territory there but I will leave it at that. I appreciated seeing him rescue himself through becoming Chat Noir and I enjoy him as a genuinely kind, good character (with a temper, with trauma, but still choosing to be kind; that always means a lot to me).
