Energy Update: January 2024
Tumblr media
January is a "9" month [1 (January) + 8 (2+0+2+4=8) = 9] in an "8" year. Though we are on the edge of something new - both represented by some of the astrological transits of the month and the beginning of a new year - we still have some stuff to wrap up before we can truly move onwards. A lot has changed since the beginning of 2020 - everything really, if you want to look at it that way. As our lives slowly bend and adapt to the changes that have been wrought in the world, we still have to live in it.
Numerologically, 9 is our last number as each multi-digit number gets added back together again. In this way we know that February is a 10/1 month: 2 (February) + 8 (2023) = 10 = 1+0 = 1. February is not the beginning, but February is a beginning. Now we just need to get there.
The Details
We begin January with the Sun and Pluto in Capricorn, retrograde Mercury and Mars in Sagittarius, Venus in Scorpio, Jupiter and retrograde Uranus in Taurus, and Saturn and Neptune in Pisces. This is an unusual alignment of planets and worth noting here. We know that the Sun, Mercury, and Venus travel together but right now they are being joined by both Mars and Pluto as they cross over Sagittarius and Capricorn this season. Additionally, our other planets are congregated together as well in Taurus and Pisces. It's also worth noting that all of this (/crazyhandwaving) began four years ago when all of our planets except for Uranus and Neptune were in the sign of Capricorn.
This month the last of our planets from this 2020 transit, Pluto, finally leaves Capricorn for good. This is one of the big gong crashes that denotes time. Pluto will remain in Aquarius until 2043.
Additionally, our Sun enters the sign of Aquarius, and Mercury, Venus, and Mars will enter the sign of Capricorn. January also marks the end of retrograde season for the next four months as Mercury and Uranus station direct.
The Nitty Gritty
January begins with a bang as Jupiter stations direct on 12/31/23 and Mercury stations direct on 1/1/24. This is a great omen for both January and 2024 as a whole as the first day of the month/year will set the stage for the energy of the time ahead. All signs point to "go" as we only have one single planet left in retrograde (Uranus). Uranus also stations direct this month (on 1/27); we will not experience another planetary retrograde until April.
That said, many of us are still carrying some of the weight of our pasts and it may be hindering our progress. As mentioned above, January is a "9" month of endings that will lead to February being a "10/1" month of beginnings. In this way, January can be seen as a series of releases that can help to unburden us of the things that we do not need to bring with us into the future we see ahead. This process may be triggering for some, especially those who are lost in the past or unduly holding onto something that has passed its expiration date.
The big release dates to watch out for include: 1/1 when Mercury stations direction, 1/4 when Mars enters Capricorn, 1/11 our new moon in Capricorn, 1/13 when Mercury enters Capricorn, 1/20 when BOTH the Sun and Uranus enter Aquarius, 1/23 when Venus enters Capricorn, and 1/27 when Uranus stations direct.
Any of the above dates can be used magically to speed this change along if you are so inclined. Each of these days may be a relief or triggering depending on your life circumstances and general personality. Stay prepared and aware.
There are also a few days of the month where life may seem to "help" you along on this release process, whether you wish it to or not. As our personal planets move through the sign of Capricorn, each will make a cardinal t-square with our lunar nodes of fate (in Aries and Capricorn). Each of these transits will carry with it some of the energy of eclipse season. Some doors may open during this time and some will inevitably close. When the lunar nodes are involved we sometimes find that it is too late to make certain choices, but also that new and interesting choices have become available to us. Our Sun will form a t-square with the nodes on 1/10, Mercury will on 1/28, and Mars will on 1/30. In February, Venus will form one final t-square to complete this process.
For transits like these there is one simple piece of advice: don't hold on too tightly. With our North Node in Aries, we are being asked to stand up for ourselves and that often means letting go of prior conditioning from our childhood or society that keeps us small and forces us into conformity. This can trigger a lot of deep-seated defenses and unhealthy coping mechanisms from our past. The big flex is to name it and bring it into the light rather than letting these things control or destroy us. If you have Aries or Libra in the 12th house this may be especially difficult for you, but this makes this work especially important.
Chiron, also sitting in Aries, shows us that being our unique selves can be quite a painful process. Each of our personal planets will also square off with the Wounded Healer during this time and each of these dates (Sun square Chiron on 1/6, Mars square Chiron on 1/25, and Mercury square Chiron on 1/28 plus Venus in February) is another chance to reexamine our core wounding surrounding standing out versus fitting in. This shit leads deep back into our childhoods and often is the center of our deepest fears. If you are into shadow work, these topics will likely prove especially fruitful during these times. A word to the wise about Chiron: the way out of the pain is always through examining it and learning to understand and create adaptive strategies for management and mitigation. Many people who have Chiron highlighted in their natal birth chart find that healing "out loud" helps them to deal with and make sense of more ouchy moments like these.
In this way, the month may feel very cyclical. You see a way forward and grab for it. It's painful beyond what was expected as it sparks deep wounds. From there the work is to transcend and release the wounds. Rinse and repeat.
It's certainly not work for the faint of heart. But that's not a surprise, we're in Capricorn season - a sign known for almost being compelled to work. This isn't the summer work of planting seeds, tending, and bringing them to harvest. This is the winter work of reexamination and reclamation. Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, is sitting in a supportive sextile in Pisces to help us along in this process but it WILL be work. The big flex all month is to keep moving, to keep putting one foot in front of the other, and to keep on keepin' on. With some many chances, you CAN get it right.
Our two lunar events for the month are a new moon at 20° Capricorn on 1/11 and a full moon at 05° Leo on 1/25.
The new moon will be more supercharged as 1/11 is 111 reflecting an influx of 1/new beginnings energy which will also be in close square to our lunar nodes. If you do not set intentions for the year on 1/1, 1/11 will be another strong time to do so. The new moon's numerology is 2/2 [2 (10 Capricorn Sun + 10 Capricorn Moon = 2), and 2 (2 Capricorn new moon + 9 January = 11 = 2] which shows that it is a powerful day for creation and togetherness.
Our full moon in Leo carries the energy of 7/7 [7 (11 Aquarius Sun + 5 Leo Moon = 16 = 7) and 7 (7 Aquarius full moon + 9 January = 16 = 7]. 7 is the number of spirituality and is generally associated with intuition and inner understandings of all kinds. This is a great day to divine on your journey through January and will aid in any magic designed to align you with where your path is leading you.
If you're looking for a day to do money magic or other prosperity work in January, Friday 1/12 is your day when Mars in Capricorn is in exact trine with Jupiter in Taurus. Work that earth money magic - Capricorn is seeing to their future and Taurus loves the finer things in life. This is a big luxury day - this is a day to treat yo' self even if you're not doing any magic. But do that money magic if you've got it - earthy trines like this don't come around every day.
I see two days to watch out for during the month.
On Saturday, 1/20, the Sun meets up in its yearly conjunction with our planet of death and transformation, Pluto and they both enter the sign of Aquarius in lockstep with one another. This is a big change of the guard and it's likely to be reflected both in the outer world at large and in our personal lives. Pluto has been in the sign of Capricorn for more than a decade and its force has been slowly eroding our outdated systems of government and bureaucracy. Now, it shifts its gaze to Aquarius where it will remain until 2043.
Pluto moves on a glacial scale so we shouldn't expect to see the effects of its ingress initially but what we should expect to see is the fallout of what has been left behind. Given the planet and its namesake, I use the term fallout very intentionally here. Capricorn rules the governing systems of our lives; in truth, it rules all things that are contractual like government bodies, businesses, and even marriage. Anything that requires signing a contract is in some way controlled by Saturn and Capricorn as Saturn's emissary in this world. Pluto has been shaking up these systems for quite some time and not all of them will survive the release that comes as our dwarf planet finally exits the scene.
Sometimes you don't know how bad the disaster is until it's over and the dust has settled. I would expect to see governmental shutdowns, businesses failing or entering bankruptcy, and the dissolution of marriages as the energy slowly begins to shift away from Capricorn and into Aquarius. In this sense, any structures that are held on by a thread will be most at risk through the beginning of the year. If this is you and it impacts your life specifically, I will guide you back to the words above: Don't Hold on too tight.
Sometimes things need to fall apart. Sometimes you can't pick up the pieces.
The second day of interest is 1/29 when Mars in Capricorn meets up in trine with Uranus in Taurus. I have found that it is best to keep an eye on when these two planets meet, regardless of the aspect that they make with one another. Mars is our planet of action and war and Uranus rules the unexpected disaster. This is Tower weather; it is best to do less and avoid any overt dangers if you can. It's a day to stay away from explosives of all kinds. Uranus in Taurus is especially eruption-prone, make of that what you will. We are nearing the end of Uranus's transit of Taurus (something that we should be very grateful for) but it's not over until it's over.
January is the cosmic right time to put in the work to better your life. January is the cosmic right time to take accountability for where you are the problem. January is the cosmic right time to let that shit go so that when February rolls around, you are ready.

There's a lot to unpack in this one 👆
I have photos of some of the celestial events and lunar eclipses he speaks of. While in the totality of the upcoming solar eclipse, Venus and Jupiter will be close to the sun and very visible and to the West Saturn and Mars will be visible. There will be six planets in Aries, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Chiron and Saturn at the time of the eclipse, which will also happen in Aries. 🤔
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Venus, Jupiter & Moon/Jupiter, Venus, Mars, Saturn & Moon... These 👆 are a couple of planetary alignments I've captured
Tumblr media
And lets not forget the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn that happened December 2020.
These events have been occurring since Donald Trump was elected in 2016 and they are still happening. It's a great time to be alive if you're connecting the dots. Coincidence... You Decide 🤔

April 2024 Important Dates
Tumblr media
AKA my notes on The Astrology Podcast's April forecast, hosted by Chris Brennan and Diana Rose Harper (Austin is away on paternity leave). This is one of the most astrologically active months in the year. In addition to planetary movements, there's a comet that will be visible soon in the night sky and a nova.
We're going into the month right off the tail of a Libra lunar eclipse on March 25th. We're in "eclipse season," the time between eclipses, with much activity to report. Starting off, Baltimore's Key Bridge collapsed after a container ship crashed into it, which Austin called last forecast when he said that Mars's entry into Pisces (approaching a conjunction to Saturn) would involve a sudden halt in maritime trade. Astrologically it's quite on the nose, with a Libra (associated with trade/commerce) moon conjunct the South Node (symbolizing lack and decrease). We even have a chart for the opening of this bridge: it was an exact Mars return for this bridge, as well as its Uranus opposition and nodal opposition. Also on the Libra eclipse was the UN Security Council's vote for a ceasefire in Gaza. The April 8th eclipse will show us whether this resolution is successful, and a final Libra eclipse in October will tie these events together.
In celebrity news, we had obviously doctored photos of Kate Middleton prompting increasingly wild speculation on what the British royal family was hiding, culminating in Kate announcing her cancer diagnosis & chemotherapy plans on the March 22nd Venus(women, exalted in Pisces = royalty)-Saturn (slow illnesses) conjunction. She was also born on a lunar eclipse & announced this right before one. Just 3 days after the eclipse, on March 28th, Sam Bankman-Fried of FTX was sentenced to 25 years in prison, the newest development in a story that began on an eclipse when BitCoin crashed and revealed his role in one of the biggest instances of financial fraud in US history.
In smaller news, a nova in the T Coronae Borealis system will be visible as a new star in the night sky this year. This nova is visible every 76 years or so (the last time was 1946), and has been observed as far back as the Middle Ages. Add this to the eclipses and the comet, and Chris hasn't seen such an astrological buildup since forecasting 2020. As the eclipse hit his 3rd house Donald Trump published a book combining the Bible and the US Constitution, while in other news an orca was stranded in British Columbia, another dolphin & orca-related development in the (Mars-)Saturn in Pisces in cycle and Arizona announced Pluto as their state planet.
April Overview: with significant activity in Pisces, Aries, and Taurus simultaneously, we'll be getting hard aspects to every modality (and trines to every element)--everyone will be getting hit with some kind of change (but will have opportunities for growth as well). Chris makes a distinction between the challenging first half of the month, and a second half which will see more clarity.
April 1st - Mercury stations retrograde By time of posting this retrograde is in full swing: disruptions in communication, plans, travel and technology. Diana describes this as especially frustrating in Aries, trying to go one way but some huge miscommunication gets in the way. We may have to walk back on words spoken in anger and renegotiate situations where we identified the wrong target as our enemy. With the eclipse's ruler Mars conjoining Saturn on the 10th, anyone who travels for the eclipse and hangs around for a few days may run into blockages, likely due to rain and floods. Other general Mercury retrograde significations: people come back into your life, unfinished projects become relevant again, and situations from the past resurface. For example, Sagittarius risings often see the "duderang" effect where male lovers come back into their lives, as Mercury rules their Gemini 7th house. Mercury rx also brings delays and slowdowns, and is generally a good time for introspection and "emotional alchemy."
April 3rd - Venus conjoins Neptune This occurs right as she leaves the sign of Pisces. Venus-Neptune keywords: dreamy, fantastical, imaginative (especially with art), compassionate, and opportunities to find new avenues of enjoyment and pleasure. Saturn's copresence in Pisces can bring us some grounding and reality. This can also bring unclear boundaries, uncertain relationships, and idealizing one's lover--like using the soft lens. In events, AI images and videos and toxic synthetic dyes also fall under Venus-Neptune. Is the siren's call too good to be true?
April 4th - Venus enters Aries Chris hopes that Venus's copresence to the eclipse will mitigate some of its effects, but on the flipside this means she's left Mars and Saturn alone with each other in the Pisces chart of our house.
April 8th - Total Solar Eclipse in Aries This eclipse will be visible over much of the (particularly eastern) continental US:
Tumblr media
Diana calls it a chiron eclipse, so here's the chart with chiron:
Tumblr media
The Moon will eclipse the Sun at 19 Aries, which is where Chiron will be as well. Mythologically, Hercules brings back the head (North Node, Aries) of the hydra to Chiron, whose poison causes him incredible pain because he is immortal and cannot die from it. He eventually trades his immortality for Prometheus and Zeus puts him in the heavens as a constellation. Narratively, eclipses invert what we expect: it becomes dark in the middle of the day! Prominent people fall suddenly from grace and new rulers skyrocket to power during eclipses. Because the eclipse occurs in the sign of the Sun's exaltation, leaders and heads of state/organization/etc will be especially affected. A similar Chiron-influenced Aries solar eclipse occurred in 1968 when Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated. Nelson Mandela was sent to jail under an eclipse, but was also freed under another eclipse and elected to office under yet another eclipse.
For individuals, make note of what house this occurs in for you; this will be the end of one chapter and the opening of a new one in this area of life. Anything close to 19° of Aries will definitely feel it, as will any placements at that degree of Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn (hard aspects to the cardinal signs), while 19 Leo and Sagittarius (trine to fire signs) may feel some support. Generally, this series of events in Aries-Libra began a year ago, and will have its final eclipse on this axis in March of 2025.
This eclipse is ruled by a Mars (♓) who's just about conjunct with Saturn (♓), grinding things to a halt. Whatever's happening in the Aries and Pisces place is going to take some extra time. Other keywords: the end of a life cycle, matters of great importance & turning points in world history, major disasters as well as scientific discoveries. Eclipses highlight just how much is out of our control, like being on a teacup ride that's going too fast and being unable to stop unless something hits you. 6 months later, we'll get an eclipse that connects to some of these events:
Tumblr media
Diana also points out that there will be an influx of tourists to rural areas of the US, advising travelers to stay courteous and noting that many local municipalities advise residents to stock up on basic supplies so they won't be lacking when a small area is flooded with new people & their needs. Generally, the eclipse will be a very creepy experience, with the Sun going completely dark, colors becoming muted, and stars may even be visible--some cultures have warnings against going outside during eclipses. Back to metaphors, Chris points out that the small seeds of much larger events are often planted during eclipses. Sometimes you don't know until later just how important this obscured implantation is because, like the Sun, our vision is occulted. Take notes, even of subtle things.
April 10th - Mars conjunct Saturn in Pisces We expect the two malefics to bring us challenges: their conjunctions in late Capricorn & early Aquarius heralded the first COVID lockdowns, and other hard aspects brought new variants and similar pandemic news. In 2022 a Mars-Saturn conjunction occurred with an epidemic of ebola. However, note that these are all airborne viruses, and these movements occurred with Saturn in the air sign of Aquarius. What will this look like in Pisces, a water sign? Chris predicts that existing Saturn-Pisces issues with water pollution and maritime trade/travel will have destructive moments as Mars comes in, while Diana thinks about water as a vector of disease, such as cholera & sewage treatment. Now that deep permafrost is melting due to climate change, we may also see new pathogens or substances released, as well as complications from farm water runoff. We'll definitely see the effects of this Baltimore bridge collapse, and, with the outbreak of dengue fever in Latin America, may see developments around diseases borne of insect bites. We may also hear about the ill effects of microplastics, lead, and asbestos as a result of this conjunction. More generally: pollution, ocean, liquids, extremes of hot and cold, feelings of constraint (and literal constraint), and spiritual or emotional burnout. Pisces is a sign of inescapable enmeshment with each other, so we'll likely deal with compassion fatigue and emotional isolation (especially involving social media). Questions of whether or not something is "real" remain relevant as ever.
On the positive side, Mars-Saturn brings discipline and self-control. Sometimes Mars and Saturn can temper each other to give us self-sustaining focus. We can combine hard-won wisdom with the drive we need to achieve it, like a martial arts training montage. Do we have the belief and conviction to achieve mastery? With determination we can reach heights we once only imagined. There's also stamina, resilience, and rigidity. Overlapping with the Mercury retrograde, we can also see delays and obstructions. If there are boundaries you've been meaning to enact, now is the time. We can see potential pitfalls, but beware of pessimism and not believing in yourself. Resentment and pent-up anger can also come into play as Mars's impulse butts up against Saturn's inaction, but incremental progress adds up.
April 11th - Sun conjunct retrograde Mercury (Cazimi) This marks a turning point in the retrograde. Diana uses a spelunking metaphor: during the retrograde we're diving into the cave, and at the cazimi we've found our treasure...but we still have to make our way back out. Our personal eclipse stories may become clearer during this time as well.
April 19th - Sun enters Taurus, Retrograde Mercury conjunct Venus Venus will help sweeten communications during the last week of Mercury's regression.
April 20th - Jupiter conjunct Uranus This brings freedom, liberation, and sudden rapid growth--completely different from the Mars-Saturn activity earlier this month. This may also set us up for the Jupiter-Mars conjunction later this summer. The Uranus in Taurus story has brought labor organizing and unions to prominence, so expect those stories to intensify during this conjunction. General keywords: technological breakthroughs and scientific discoveries, sudden revelations and growth, revolutions, rupture, and unexpected shifts. This conjunction takes place every 14 years, so Chris expects new discoveries, optimism and "quantum leaps" or new precedents in some fields. In Taurus this is related to food and agriculture--in addition to new technologies we'll likely see further developments with the farmer's protests in India and Europe. Finance and money is another Taurus signification, so disruptions in banks & questions about decentralizing currency may arise. Freedom, rebellion, and general eccentricity become important. We'll feel like anything is possible, but in disregarding the rules and refusing to compromise we may make rash decisions.
The comet Pons-Brooks may also start to become visible during this time. It comes by about every 80 years and is named for its 18th century discoverers. Ancient literature on comets is similar to that of eclipse: an ominous phenomenon heralding the deaths of rulers and falls of kingdoms. However, they note the color and appearance as indicating some positive effects when associated with Jupiter, and the planets whose path it crosses are relevant as well. Pons-Brooks passes closely by the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction, putting an exclamation point on the planetary significations.
April 23rd - Scorpio Full Moon
Tumblr media
We're finally out of eclipse season, so things are starting to calm down. However, this lunation (04♏) squares Pluto (02♒), bringing some conflict in. It'll be stabilizing, but not necessarily comforting. Acceptance is bittersweet medicine. The full moon illuminates the deep transformative experiences Pluto brings to the early degrees of fixed signs in our charts. We're really getting to the bedrock of things. When Venus enters Taurus she'll square Pluto, and Mars will trine Pluto when he enters Aries. With those personal planets in domicile, it'll feel like coming home, but home is a little different. Pluto will retrograde soon and Chris predicts this station will bring major events in AI and related technologies. Mars is also quickly nearing his conjunction with Neptune, bringing the weaponization of these technologies.
April 25th - Mercury stations direct
April 28th - Mars conjunct Neptune (typo in image) Aside from weaponization of AI and social media, Mars-Neptune also connotes the manipulation of reality for political purposes. Revealing that a shocking news story was actually false wont necessarily diffuse the feelings it arose. Even if it didn't happen, you may still hold resentment towards the wrong target. Think the "fog of war" or shadowboxing. Other keywords include conflicts in or about water, idealism & ideologically-charged conflicts, confusion, acid, corrosion, lethargy, sapped vitality, and unnecessary martyrdom.
April 29th - Venus enters Taurus She immediately squares Pluto. Venus in domicile brings us to the election for the month:
April 29th - Selected auspicious election (not pictured)
Tumblr media
Set the chart for about 12:55PM local time, which gets you Leo rising with the Ascendant ruler Sun in the 10th whole sign house in Taurus, where it's copresent with Jupiter, Uranus, and Venus. This chart is good for 10th house matters like career, reputation, social standing, overall life direction and accomplishing goals. The Moon is in Capricorn, applying to a trine with Jupiter, bringing support. Mercury has stationed direct, bringing us away from some of the delays and issues we experienced earlier. Even the Mars-Saturn conjunction is about as far away as we can get, and a day chart Jupiter conjunct Uranus brings creativity to our efforts. Diana associates the 10th house with the gestating parent and thus recommends doing something nice for your mom now.
April 30th - Mars enters Aries Entering firey and decisive Aries, Mars is no longer encumbered by slow Saturn and diffuse Neptune. This complete chapter change comes with a sextile to Pluto--the tone shift will feel like getting our oxygen back. This opens us up for a lot of quick movements through Aries and Gemini in May.

Welcome to the Shadow of the Eclipse
October 4-31, 2023
Some introductory notes
The “shadow of the eclipse” is a time period lasting from 10 days before the first eclipse, to three days after the final eclipse. It is recommended not to start anything new, or schedule anything important, during these days - as usual I refer everyone to the 1981 wedding of Lady Diana Spencer to the Prince of Wales, as an example.
Of course we live in a place/time which scoffs at letting astrology help with the timing of events - therefore don’t lose hope if something falls unavoidably within the eclipse shadow. Just be prepared.
I wanted to take a more thorough approach to delineation, this time. I hope it’s helpful.
South Node Solar Eclipse
A solar eclipse happens when the New Moon lies close (in the Zodiac) to either the North Lunar Node, or to the South one. It occurred to me to do a little research on whether which Node is involved, makes any difference - and yes, it does.
Astrologers call the South Node “the dragon’s tail” - Steven Forrest calls the South Node, “the dragon’s butt” - because here we are “pooping out” what we don’t need and can’t use. (One person’s poop, however, is another person’s fertilizer.)
Eclipses conjunct the South Lunar Node, like the October 14 one, have an outflowing (outpooping?) of energy. They tend to feature external events which we have to “rise up to.”
If you’d like to note how these have affected you in the past (always a good idea to check “what happened last time”), here is a list of the previous South Node solar eclipses in this century:
December 14, 2001, 22°56’ Sagittarius
December 4, 2002, 11°58’ Sagittarius
November 23, 2003, 1°14’ Sagittarius
October 14, 2004, 21°06’ Libra
October 3, 2005, 10°19’ Libra
September 22, 2006, 29°20’ Virgo
September 11, 2007, 18°25’ Virgo
August 1, 2008, 9°32’ Leo
July 22, 2009, 29°27’ Cancer
July 11, 2010, 19°24’ Cancer
June 1, 2011, 11°02’ Gemini
July 1, 2011, 9°12’ Cancer
May 20, 2012, 0°21’ Gemini
May 10, 2013, 19°31’ Taurus
April 29, 2014, 8°52’ Taurus
March 20, 2015, 29°27’ Pisces
March 9, 2016, 18°56’ Pisces
February 26, 2017, 8°12’ Pisces
February 15, 2018, 27°08’ Aquarius
January 6, 2019, 15°25’ Capricorn
December 26, 2019, 4°07’ Capricorn
December 14, 2020, 23°08’ Sagittarius
December 4, 2021, 12°22’ Sagittarius
October 25, 2022, 2°00’ Scorpio
October 14, 2023, 21°08’ Libra
Going down that list was a very uncomfortable trip down memory lane for me. When those South Node eclipses affected me, it was generally a harbinger of some difficult “external event” which I had little to no control over - which is not the same thing as saying “it wasn’t my fault.” I brought some of it on myself due to bad decisions. Some karma chickens coming home to roost, in other words. Not all of them were dire, though. One in particular gave me something of a respite from what had been happening in my life - it was conjunct my natal 12th House cusp.
Saros Series “7 South”
This eclipse is part of Saros Series “7 South.” Bernadette Brady writes,
The individual experiencing this series will find that huge obstacles will suddenly and easily clear or, on the negative side, a pending potential crisis will suddenly manifest and move through his or her life very rapidly. Either way the individual will feel that everything is moving at great speed. (The Eagle and the Lark)
Previous Saros “7 South” eclipses in Ms M’s lifetime:
September 11, 1969, 18°53’ Virgo
September 23, 1987, 29°34’ Virgo
October 3, 2005, 10°19’ Libra
Not quite as depressing for me personally.
Whatever Shall We Do?
1) Determine which of your natal houses this eclipse falls in.
2) Determine whether the eclipse makes an aspect to anything in your chart. Use a 1° orb. In my case, the conjunctions, squares, sesquiquads (135°), inconjuncts, and oppositions made the most obvious impacts.
3) If there is a close aspect to a planet, check to see which house(s) that planet rules. One South Node eclipse was conjunct the ruler of my natal 4th House, and I moved three months later.
4) Avoid strenuously negative thoughts. If you put a lot of energy into anticipating that something is going to be horrible and painful and disastrous, well, guess what - that’s exactly what’s going to happen. If you catch yourself falling into a panic, try to refocus the energy into “the best possible outcome.”

Finally finished their ref sheet. It's Lunar New Year, which is fitting as this guy right here is Vietnamese. Might as well give a proper introduction.
This is Cayden Tran.
Cayden (they/them) is eighteen years old, a senior at Arcadia Oaks High, and a totally normal human, thank you very much.
Ever since they were little, Cayden has been surrounded by bad luck and near-death experiences, always managing to barely escape from danger. They explored the woods behind their house all of the time, and always came home covered in dirt and scratches. They saw many strange creatures in the woods and took up photography to try and get evidence of their existence, but no one ever believed them.
Cayden and their dad moved to Arcadia when they were 10 from Washington state after their father picked up a job at the museum. Cayden didn’t like Arcadia much at first, but when they heard about the strange creatures, it piqued their interest, and they decided, "hey why not stick around a bit." It's not like they had much of a choice. They were, like, ten. Can't really do much at that age.
In the present, they run a moderately successful blog all about the mysterious sightings. Every night (or as often as a high schooler can) they go out and explore the forest and Arcadia, looking for the strange and unusual. They have the passion and researching capabilities of their father, and they use these skills to find out what’s really going on in Arcadia Oaks.
Also they have a one-sided rivalry with Eli. Also they have a full on rivalry with Steve. Also their bad luck is actually a hereditary curse from their absentee mother. Also they accidentally meet a troll and a witch in one night (and later a modded Blank-Bot). Also, the entire concept behind my TOA OCs is that their stories run parallel to the canon TOA timeline.
-
Design-wise, Cayden went through a lot of changes since I first conceptualized them in 2020. Originally their eyes were grey instead of dark brown/red, and their hair was curly and short. But the red/black was always a thing. It's sort of like the Eclipse Armor. Flip-side of blue Jimbo is red Cay.
The scars on their body are from a number of different incidents, some involving their bad luck curse, other not. But long-sleeved shirts or outwear is usually what they wear to cover them up. Also! Cayden is wearing a binder! It's not a super cool super trendy Miku binder, but it's a binder. They bind safely :) One small addition I recently made were fingerless gloves. I thought they suited them and was kicking myself for not thinking of it sooner.
One very important piece of lore is the piece of obsidian they wear on a cord around their neck. It was something their mother left with their dad. Cayden wears it all of the time, mostly out of habit because their dad insisted on it. It was apparently a wish from their mother.
Fun fact: Cayden has 900+ years worth of bad luck piled up on them.
Fun fact: Cayden is only experiencing a fraction of that bad luck because of that obsidian.
Fun fact: As soon as Cayden takes it off, all hell will break loose.
But yeah, they're a just a guy. My first TOA OC :)
I am planning to make more ref sheets because my total cast of OCs is around six or eight and I want to make stuff about them.

The Astronaut
A lot has been said on The Astronaut already. This is only my personal interpretation of what I see in this MV, the storytelling and some tiny references scattered here and there.
Tumblr media
Since the song is co-written by Jin and Coldplay, two universes do mingle in one single song, so there is bound to be obvious links to both of them in the MV.
Music of the Spheres on one side and Jin/BTS/BU (yes BU) on the other, two distinct universes but with so much in common.
Tumblr media
The contents that were released followed the astronaut's journey: The teaser made us follow the astronaut outside his spaceship on his travels in space.
The concept photos are a sequence of actions leading to the MV: 1.The Outlander, 2.Lunar Eclipse and 3. Land on Earth.
Tumblr media
If you remember FESTA 2020, we had a Little Prince concept around a journey theme. Jin was then portrayed as the Little Prince, singing Moon and staring at his Earth, ARMY, in the ON:E concert.
We already had a Jin space traveler back then...
Tumblr media
And if that was not enough, Wootteo our new astronaut friend, clearly told us where he was going.
Tumblr media
Now let's start the MV.
Jin has crashed on Earth. He is the space traveler, the astronaut. Interesting that he lands in the middle of nowhere, a somewhat desert place... just like the Little Prince. But Jin's story is different.
He lands with his black helmet... It's the only thing next to him, the only thing that protected him in his journey or the crash? Maybe. It is important enough to be in the frame as a precious belonging coming out of the spaceship.
Tumblr media
Fast forward to Jin's room.
Remember that BTS curated room for ARMY? It has most of the elements but this is the astronaut's room: Coldplay and My Universe posters, photos on a string, the guitar Chris gave Jin, retro game, tv and music equipment.
Feels and looks like a late 80s room...
Tumblr media
Jin is doing a crossword with words only related to us: ARMY, Astronaut, Star, Moon (another song for ARMY) and Cozy.
Once more to the moon, the picture says... Yes that's our moon, Jin, going on a lunar eclipse for a while.
Tumblr media
"The planet is coming back soon" may be a hint for Coldplayers related to Music of the Spheres, but it can also be for us ARMY. Coldplayers said that BTS is from blue planet Aurora. This was confirmed by the concept The Outlander for The Astronaut.
But why would the planet "come back"?
In the Little Prince book, the prince waits for one year until his star comes back above Earth, that's when he says he can go back home. Maybe that's what Jin is waiting for. For his planet to come back above Earth so that he can go back home.
The magazine says "coming back soon". How soon?
Tumblr media
While Jin thinks about his crossword, his mind is drawn to the drawings on the wall. He tilts his head, demonstrating interest and recognition. He does that several times in the MV.
Side note: we now know that the child who drew those is Lumpens' child, Bangtan MV director for a very long time now...
Tumblr media
Apart from that one moment of interest, Jin seems to be bored, waiting... drifting away as the lyrics say: "Like that asteroid drifting by without a destination, I, too, was just drifting away"
Note the retro game and old TV... and of course the very important black helmet.
Zoom in onto the TV where Chris Martin is the TV presenter. We have an old tv, old movies (Song of a Thin Man 1947, Another Thin Man 1939, John Paul Jones 1959) and that haircut on Chris... we are not in our 2022 regular universe except for the Coldplay tour poster on the side.
Tumblr media
The mysterious beam of light that Chris is sharing in the breaking news segment seems to be what Jin was waiting for. His face lights up when he sees it through the window.
The astronaut's poster next to the window is one of Buzz Aldrin, one of the first men on the moon. Another reference to a journey to the moon, to another space traveler.
Tumblr media
Jin puts on his suit and helmet and goes out. Oh yes, that's a déjà vu. How many times have you seen Jin dressing up and put on a baseball cap before going out? You have not? Go watch the LY Highlight Reel. None of them had a happy ending before...
Tumblr media
If you didn't understand by now that Jin is not from Earth, then his behavior in the next scenes does point it out. He is very stiff in his walk and waving to the little girl. But he does one thing that shows he cares about her: he gives her his precious helmet before leaving.
Tumblr media
And Jin starts running towards his goal. But his road is not so easy. There are obstacles, people on his way pushing him, but even with the stop signs he does not stop and goes on...
You and me Like a star that doesn’t shatter
Tumblr media
And here comes another wink to BU. Yes, the florist shop he comes across... just when the lyrics go:
Becoming your dream To travel throughout the universe
The Smeraldo shop reference? BU space-time traveller Jin? Yes that was 100% done on purpose.
Tumblr media
Jin also walks past an astronaut and stops to look at his reflection. He is the astronaut.
I also love the fact that they chose a Wanda Vision set for this particular scene. Multiverse possibilities again... and 2 completely different universes colliding with this collab.
Tumblr media
And we follow Jin on his journey to his spaceship. There was a subtle reference to Coldplay's Paradise MV (2011) in these scenes. In that mv, Chris, dressed as an elephant, escapes a zoo and goes on a journey to to find his bandmates, his family, also dressed as elephants...
Tumblr media
On his way, Jin thinks of the little girl, how he helped her ride her bicycle. There is a clear parallel between the girl learning how to manage on her own and Jin finally reaching his destination, his spaceship. Maybe that's a way to tell us that the struggle was there for both of them.
Tumblr media
And it has probably been a long time wait for him... When the astronaut crashed, everything was bare around the shiny spaceship, now it has trees and shrubs growing nearby and the shiny luster on the spaceship has gone away.
How long has he been on Earth, waiting to go back?
Tumblr media
The next scenes are all for us, ARMY. The lyrics and the purple color coding is clear. Jin looks straight into the camera to sing the chorus:
When I'm with you There is no-one else
And that purple galaxy of stars sparkling, that Jin sets alight at the tip of his finger (remember that), that's once again our ARMY galaxy. This is another familiar visual we got from Bangtan visuals through the years, like the one that starts the Highlight Reel or in DNA mv.
Tumblr media
The second part of the chorus and we're back to the little girl, is that us ARMY? Maybe. Maybe that little girl is all of us. She teaches him what love and being human means. And everything she shared with him, photos and drawings, he kept them all in his room... remember?
Tumblr media
There is one famous alien that learns about love from a child, makes its way back to his spaceship carried on a bicycle, flying over the moon and has a light at the tip of his finger...
Remember E.T.? Yeah 40 years in 2022. At the end, the alien leaves but tells the boy "I'll be right here".
Tumblr media
Back to the mv. The space ship takes off, but Jin does not leave Earth. His face clearly shows he understands something as the song goes "And I Love You"
The space traveler has realized that he loves the little girl. So he decides to stay while his spaceship leaves.
Tumblr media
The moment he turns around is when we first see that he has a tattoo on his neck, one that spells out AMI.
This act of turning his head sideways is a Jin signature move in BTS MVs to demonstrate that something important is happening right then. He even does it in the BST parody!
Tumblr media
Jin tries to hitchhike his way back, but no vehicle stops for him except a pickup truck. It had to be a pickup right? BU happy times in MVs are always linked to a pickup, it's part of their signature visuals. But this time Jin is not the one driving, he is being driven home.
And home, is where ARMY is, or in this MV, where the little girl is. We can clearly see the AMI tattoo as he smiles in the sunset. And he shows us the drawing of what home means: Earth, Jin, the little girl on her bicycle.
Tumblr media
Jin leaves the desert behind... we can see it going away as he rides back to the place he now calls home in the pickup. That walk through the desert is again a classic in Bangtan's visuals and lyrics... it is part of their journey.
Tumblr media
We're back in Jin's room, in his home. His gaze towards the hanging solar system model tells us he still thinks about traveling but maybe with a different mindset. Side note: that solar system has 9 planets... 134340 or Pluto is there!
Tumblr media
Jin finally finds the word he was looking for in his crossword. He has found Family. The Astronaut, the star, can settle down. He found a cozy place and a family with ARMY.
His happiness is complete when he hears the bell of his friend's bicycle. She has come to see him. The only times in the MV when he smiles that bright is when he thinks of his friend or when he is with her.
The metaphor here is obvious: we will all smile again together... soon.
Tumblr media
I'll end this post with the link to the MV. I'm sure you want to watch it again right now if you made it the the end of the post.

Attempting to Predict Trainee A's Debut Date using Astronomy
Inspired by this tweet:
Tumblr media
If you follow any hybe groups especially Enhypen and &team you would know that hybe loves to center releases around major astronomical events. For example: ENHYPEN’s debut date was Nov 30, 2020 during a lunar eclipse
So I cannot help but think that they might choose to debut or release a debut announcement for Trainee A during a major astrological event.
We can start off with the basics such as during a new moon or a full moon. With new moons representing new beginnings I think it would be a good fit for Trainee A. While full moons mean completion which could represent the completion of their journeys as trainees and finally becoming idols (enhypen and &team also did/will debut on full moons so TA could just continue the pattern)
There is also a few other events that I think would be a good time for Trainee A to debut
April 20, 2023: hybrid solar eclipse.
A hybrid solar eclipse occurs when the Moon is almost too close to the Earth to completely block the Sun. This type of eclipse will appear as a total eclipse to some parts of the world and will appear like a “ring of fire” to others.
May 5, 2023: lunar eclipse
August 31, 2023: super moon, blue moon
October 14, 2023: solar eclipse
October 28, 2023: lunar eclipse
But…they can also pull a fast one on us and just drop the news on a random day lol. We’ll just have to wait and see. Hopefully we don’t have to wait long anymore

Ceres in the November 8 2022 LUNAR ECLIPSE
I have mainly spoken about the hard aspects in the Nov 8 Lunar Eclipse chart, but the Ceres trine Uranus ♅ is very significant in the light of the current environmental news. Ceres represents the abundance of the Earth, especially of the resources that sustain life. In addition, she represents Nature's trauma when her daughter is taken captive by Pluto in the underworld. She casts winter time all over the world, until negotiations are done for her daughter's liberation. The trine with Uranus reflects the imminent search for a solution to the overwhelming environmental challenges the Earth and life on it are facing. However, notice that Ceres will form a t-square with Neptune and Mars on November 25. This may indicate that the COP27 will be just empty words and nothing will be actually done. On December 8, Ceres trines Pluto will transform things, and soon after, when Ceres opposes Jupiter in Pisces, things could get really really serious. Later on, in September 2023, Ceres will square Pluto and things will not look any good, for sure.Ceres is the biggest asteroid so far discovered. She is extremely significant in important events. Just remember that she joined the party at the exact degree when Saturn and Pluto, Sun and Mercury conjoined in Capricorn that ominous January 12, 2020. It's important to consider that Ceres is still travelling through the same cycle and carrying the same meaning around the zodiac. Her orbit takes 1682 days or over 4 years.

"Four amazing astronomical discoveries from ancient Greece

The Histories by Herodotus (484BC to 425BC) offers a remarkable window into the world as it was known to the ancient Greeks in the mid fifth century BC. Almost as interesting as what they knew, however, is what they did not know. This sets the baseline for the remarkable advances in their understanding over the next few centuries – simply relying on what they could observe with their own eyes.
Herodotus claimed that Africa was surrounded almost entirely by sea. How did he know this? He recounts the story of Phoenician sailors who were dispatched by King Neco II of Egypt (about 600BC), to sail around continental Africa, in a clockwise fashion, starting in the Red Sea. This story, if true, recounts the earliest known circumnavigation of Africa, but also contains an interesting insight into the astronomical knowledge of the ancient world.
The voyage took several years. Having rounded the southern tip of Africa, and following a westerly course, the sailors observed the Sun as being on their right hand side, above the northern horizon. This observation simply did not make sense at the time because they didn’t yet know that the Earth has a spherical shape, and that there is a southern hemisphere.
1. The planets orbit the Sun
A few centuries later, there had been a lot of progress. Aristarchus of Samos (310BC to 230BC) argued that the Sun was the “central fire” of the cosmos and he placed all of the then known planets in their correct order of distance around it. This is the earliest known heliocentric theory of the solar system.
Unfortunately, the original text in which he makes this argument has been lost to history, so we cannot know for certain how he worked it out. Aristarchus knew the Sun was much bigger than the Earth or the Moon, and he may have surmised that it should therefore have the central position in the solar system.
Nevertheless it is a jawdropping finding, especially when you consider that it wasn’t rediscovered until the 16th century, by Nicolaus Copernicus, who even acknowledged Aristarchus during the development of his own work.
2. The size of the Moon
One of Aristarchus’ books that did survive is about the sizes and distances of the Sun and Moon. In this remarkable treatise, Aristarchus laid out the earliest known attempted calculations of the relative sizes and distances to the Sun and Moon.
It had long been observed that the Sun and Moon appeared to be of the same apparent size in the sky, and that the Sun was further away. They realised this from solar eclipses, caused by the Moon passing in front of the Sun at a certain distance from Earth.
Also, at the instant when the Moon is at first or third quarter, Aristarchus reasoned that the Sun, Earth, and Moon would form a right-angled triangle.
As Pythagoras had determined how the lengths of triangle’s sides were related a couple of centuries earlier, Aristarchus used the triangle to estimate that the distance to the Sun was between 18 and 20 times the distance to the Moon. He also estimated that the size of the Moon was approximately one-third that of Earth, based on careful timing of lunar eclipses.
Tumblr media
A 10th century reproduction of a diagram by Aristarchus showing some of the geometry he used in his calculations. wikipedia, CC BY-SA
While his estimated distance to the Sun was too low (the actual ratio is 390), on account of the lack of telescopic precision available at the time, the value for the ratio of the size of the Earth to the Moon is surprisingly accurate (the Moon has a diameter 0.27 times that of Earth).
Today, we know the size and distance to the moon accurately by a variety of means, including precise telescopes, radar observations and laser reflectors left on the surface by Apollo astronauts.
3. The Earth’s circumference
Eratosthenes (276BC to 195 BC) was chief librarian at the Great Library of Alexandria, and a keen experimentalist. Among his many achievements was the earliest known calculation of the circumference of the Earth. Pythagoras is generally regarded as the earliest proponent of a spherical Earth, although apparently not its size. Eratosthenes’ famous and yet simple method relied on measuring the different lengths of shadows cast by poles stuck vertically into the ground, at midday on the summer solstice, at different latitudes.
The Sun is sufficiently far away that, wherever its rays arrive at Earth, they are effectively parallel, as had previously been shown by Aristarchus. So the difference in the shadows demonstrated how much the Earth’s surface curved. Eratosthenes used this to estimate the Earth’s circumference as approximately 40,000km. This is within a couple of percent of the actual value, as established by modern geodesy (the science of the Earth’s shape).
Later, another scientist called Posidonius (135BC to 51BC) used a slightly different method and arrived at almost exactly the same answer. Posidonius lived on the island of Rhodes for much of his life. There he observed the bright star Canopus would lie very close to the horizon. However, when in Alexandria, in Egypt, he noted Canopus would ascend to some 7.5 degrees above the horizon.
Given that 7.5 degrees is 1/48th of a circle, he multiplied the distance from Rhodes to Alexandria by 48, and arrived at a value also of approximately 40,000km.
4. The first astronomical calculator
The world’s oldest surviving mechanical calculator is the Antikythera Mechanism. The amazing device was discovered in an ancient shipwreck off the Greek island of Antikythera in 1900.
The device is now fragmented by the passage of time, but when intact it would have appeared as a box housing dozens of finely machined bronze gear wheels. When manually rotated by a handle, the gears span dials on the exterior showing the phases of the Moon, the timing of lunar eclipses, and the positions of the five planets then known (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn) at different times of the year. This even accounted for their retrograde motion – an illusionary change in the movement of planets through the sky.
We don’t know who built it, but it dates to some time between the 3rd and 1st centuries BC, and may even have been the work of Archimedes. Gearing technology with the sophistication of the Antikythera mechanism was not seen again for a thousand years.
youtube
Sadly, the vast majority of these works were lost to history and our scientific awakening was delayed by millennia. As a tool for introducing scientific measurement, the techniques of Eratosthenes are relatively easy to perform and require no special equipment, allowing those just beginning their interest in science to understand by doing, experimenting and, ultimately, following in the foot steps some of the first scientists.
One can but speculate where our civilisation might be now if this ancient science had continued unabated."

Biggest solar flare in years temporarily disrupts radio signals on Earth (15-12-2023)
"A coronal mass ejection (CME) is a significant ejection of magnetic field and accompanying plasma mass from the Sun's corona into the heliosphere. CMEs are often associated with solar flares and other forms of solar activity, but a broadly accepted theoretical understanding of these relationships has not been established."
wikipedia
Iceland volcano erupts on Reykjanes peninsula (19-12-2023)
"Volcanic eruption data available in the Internet archive of the Global Volcanism Program of the National Museum of Natural History of the Smithsonian Institution have been used to obtain a time of series annual numbers of volcanic eruptions occurred from 1551 to 2020. Statistically significant cycles of 10–11, 19–25, ~60, and 200–250 years have been established. For powerful eruptions (VEI ≥ 4), a 33-year cycle has also been revealed. A trend of increased volcanic activity has been found predominantly in the phases of minima and maxima of 11-year solar cycles. Variations in galactic cosmic rays (GCRs), solar flares with coronal mass ejections, and geomagnetic activity appear to be the primary sources of the trigger effect of the heliogeophysical situation on volcanism. These phenomena can affect the climate through volcanic activity. An increase in the rate of aerosol and cloud formation due to GCRs in combination with an increase in volcanic activity leads to a decrease in the transparency of the Earth’s atmosphere in the epochs of solar minima and, as a result, to an increased frequency of “dark” total lunar eclipses (DTLEs) (the Danjon effect)."

Energy Update: July 2023
Tumblr media
July is a “5” Universal Month [7 (July) + 7 (2023) = 14 = 1 + 4 =5]. 5 is a very dynamic number that tends to represent a big change of course or point of conflict. This is represented in the astrology in the month as well as we experience multiple planetary shifts and our lunar nodes also shift signs during the month. There are a lot of moving pieces and it may be hard to find solid ground as we slip and slide our way into the beginning of summer.
The Set Up
We begin the month with the Sun and Mercury in Cancer, Venus and Mars in Leo, Jupiter Uranus and the North Node in Taurus, retrograde Saturn and Neptune in Pisces, and retrograde Pluto in Capricorn. By the end of July the Sun will have entered Leo, Mercury and Mars will have entered Virgo, and the lunar nodes will have entered Aries and Libra respectively. Additionally, Venus will retrograde in Leo.
For a month with relatively few aspects (number-wise), July is going to pack a punch. We will never be the same. This is, from the perspective of linear time, always true but in a month full of shifts and heavy hitters, some people may find their lives unrecognizable come August.
The Nitty Gritty
All eyes are on our lunar nodes and the number of strong aspects that they will make with the Sun, Mercury, and Mars over the course of the month ahead. When the lunar nodes (which always move retrograde – or backward – through the horoscope) switch signs, it is one of the big cosmic gong crashes that demarcate time. The lunar nodes represent the mathematical points in the sky with which the Sun, the Moon, and the Earth can come together to create eclipses. Our eclipse cycles ruled by Taurus and Scorpio are ending and we are entering the territory of Aries and Libra. The dichotomy of the individual “Me” versus the collective “We” will be at the forefront as we transverse this change during July. Expect these energies to reemerge later in the year as we enter eclipse season.
But first, we begin the month with Mercury cazimi as the Sun meets up with Mercury at 09° Cancer. The first will be a very inspired day as the Sun and Mercury also make a sweet sextile with Jupiter in Taurus. If you need to do some positive manifestation – particularly if it has to do with wealth or accumulation of things – this will be your day. This is a great day for intention setting or goal orienting of all kinds – remember to think big!
The weekend leading up to our full moon at 11° Capricorn on Monday is going to feel like a lot if you’re not ready for it. It might feel like a lot even if you are. Capricorn has been under a lot of pressure since the beginning of 2020 and is now dealing with Saturn, their planetary ruler, in retrograde and the recent ingress of Pluto backward into Capricorn from Aquarius. Sometimes we need to pay the piper. The sooner that we get up and do what needs doing, the easier this all will be. Saturn may be out to lunch but that doesn’t mean that you can skimp on the work – don’t say that I didn’t warn you. Venus in Leo will be square to Uranus in Taurus during this energy – this is the first pass of this aspect during Venus’ pre-retrograde shadow period. There may be some money troubles or overspending that needs accounting for. Paying the piper might be quite literal in this instance. Know that Venus will return square off with Uranus twice more: a second time while she moves backward during her retrograde cycle in August and a third time when she moves forward again come September. What is coming up now may be a portent of what’s to come. The week of 7/4 may be on the quiet side as we will only experience two Mercury aspects: a square with Chiron in Aries on 7/4 and a sextile with Uranus on 7/7. Use this downtime to integrate the energies of the weekend. Ground and center if you can. With Uranus involved, the energy is likely to be electric and some may find themselves unable to sleep or slow down. Heads up to those prone to mania or insomnia, this astrological weather is highly indicative or exasperating those types of problems.
On 7/10, we get our first big hit of the month on our lunar nodal energy as Mars enters Virgo and immediately forms a trine to our North Node in Taurus and a sextile to our South Node in Scorpio. Mars in Virgo can be fairly nitpicky and critical so some people may find their feelings hurt under this energy – especially, I suspect, if they are hiding from some part of themselves or their journey. Mercury enters Leo the very next day on Tuesday and squares off with the nodes as well which shows that things are going to get a bit testy. Be careful not to say something that you cannot take back as Mercury in Leo can be a bit tactless. The Sun in Cancer is also square to Chiron (exact on Wednesday), so old wounds are close to the surface.
The secret here is, as always, to use this energy to fix problems but when there is more than one person involved, there are no guarantees. Remember you cannot fix something with somebody who doesn’t think that a situation needs fixing, or somebody who isn’t willing to meet you halfway. Focus on healing yourself instead of trying to change others during this time, if you can. By the end of the week, the Sun in Cancer will be sextile to Uranus in Taurus – any Sun-Uranus aspect is a Red Flag Day; its worth remembering that Uranus is in Taurus and what bulls do with red flags.
Lie low for sure on Friday and maybe all week if you can. Unless all persons involved are willing to sit down and be honest and objective (Mars in Virgo), nothing will get done. Any important conversation that can wait probably should. And stay away from explosives of all kinds. Maybe especially explosive people. You know the ones.
This is all leading into a new moon at 24° Cancer on Monday 7/17 which is also the day that our lunar nodes switch from Taurus/Scorpio to Aries/Libra. Aries is sign #1 and hopelessly self-involved (by design, this is not a criticism) – we will all need to rectify how individuality impacts our own lives. The combination of new-ness of the day (new moon plus new lunar nodes) is a positive double-whammy for starting projects or just wiping the slate clean. Also note the cardinality of the day (Cancer, Aries, and Libra being three of the four cardinal signs) – go for it. Take active steps towards what you want to bring forth into this world.
Again, we get some downtime to process these shifts but things will heat up as we enter the weekend. The Sun in Cancer opposes retrograde Pluto in Capricorn on Friday along with Mercury in Leo meeting up in trine with Chiron in Aries. This is a revisitng of sorts – one which has some pain associated with it. Work your way through the pain rather than running from it – Mars in Virgo is opposed to retrograde Saturn in Pisces, this is your sign to stop avoiding that problem.
The Sun in Cancer squares off with the lunar nodes on Saturday the 22nd before entering Leo which shows that our egos might be getting in the way. Where can we think more big picture? Immature Leo energy can be very narcissistic and small-minded but we always get a choice. Try leaning into the Universal Heart energy of mature Leo and take a walk in somebody else’s shoes for an afternoon. I’m not saying that you have to try to empathize with that TERF next door, start with your partner, perhaps. Or somebody else that you care about. Where are you only thinking about yourself? Where are they only thinking about themselves?
Venus retrogrades at 28° Leo on Sunday 7/23 which is the other big event of the month. I wrote an entire post about this already but I will summarize by pointing out that Venus will make two squares to planets in Taurus (Jupiter and Uranus) and trines with Chiron in Aries. This is the time to do less – as in, don’t overdo it. The way that this will show up in personal lives will be different for everyone but some examples are: don’t jump too fast into new relationships (big R or little r), don’t overspend, don’t overeat or overdrink or insert your indulgence of choice here. You can read more about this Venus retrograde cycle here.
The last week of July will be quieter. Mercury will meet up with retrograde Venus on Thursday 7/27 – Mercury and Venus have been interacting in retrograde with each other since January of 2022. We need to learn to think and feel simultaneously – so many of us can only live in our hearts OR in our brains – we are being challenged to do both. Mercury makes an exact trine with our North Node in Aries on Friday but Venus never quite makes it – that’s telling. Thought is still winning. Where can you balance this by being more in your heart?
Mercury enters Virgo on Friday. Virgo is one of the two home signs of Mercury and is also home to our planet of action, Mars, during this time. This should give us some energy to do the work ahead of us for August and our Venus retrograde that is to come.
7/1 – Sun conjunct Mercury 09° Cancer, Sun in Cancer sextile Jupiter in Taurus, Mercury in Cancer sextile Jupiter in Taurus 7/2 – Venus in Leo square Uranus in Taurus 7/3 – Full moon 11° Capricorn 7/4 – Mercury in Cancer square Chiron in Aries 7/7 – Mercury in Cancer sextile Uranus in Taurus 7/10 – Mercury in Cancer opposed retrograde Pluto in Capricorn, Mars enters Virgo, Mars in Virgo trine North Node in Taurus, Mars in Virgo sextile South Node in Scorpio 7/11 – Mercury enters Leo, Mercury in Leo square North Node in Taurus and South node in Scorpio (fixed t-square) 7/12 – Sun in Cancer square Chiron in Aries 7/14 – Sun in Cancer sextile Uranus in Taurus 7/17 – New moon 24° Cancer, Mercury in Leo square Jupiter in Taurus, lunar nodes enter Aries/Libra 7/20 – Sun in Cancer trine Neptune in Pisces, Mars in Virgo opposed retrograde Saturn in Pisces 7/21 – Sun in Cancer opposed retrograde Pluto in Capricorn, Mercury in Leo trine Chiron in Aries 7/22 – Sun in Cancer square North Node in Aries and South Node in Libra (cardinal grand cross), Sun enters Leo 7/23 – Mercury in Leo square Uranus in Taurus, Venus retrogrades 28° Leo 7/27 – Mercury conjunct retrograde Venus 28° Leo 7/28 – Mercury in Leo trine North Node in Aries and sextile South Node in Libra, Mercury enters Virgo

The Moon's mass is about one-sixth of Earth's; its density and surface gravity (at 0.1654 g) are rivaled among Solar System satellites only by Jupiter's moon Io. It is a satellite planet in geophysical terms and among all planetary-mass objects of the Solar System larger and more massive than all of its known dwarf planets.[17] Its diameter is 3,474 km (2,159 mi), which is roughly one-quarter that of Earth or about the width of Australia,[18]making it by far the largest and most massive satellite in the Solar System in relation to its parent planet and the fifth-largest Solar System satellite overall. The body of the Moon is differentiatedand terrestrial, with no significant hydrosphere, atmosphere, or magnetic field. It formed 4.51 billion years ago, not long after Earth's formation, out of the debris from a giant impact between Earth and a hypothesized Mars-sized body called Theia.
The lunar surface is covered in impact craters and is marked, mostly on the near side of the Moon, by dark maria ("seas"), which are plains of cooled magma. These maria formed when large impacts on the far side of the Moon heated up low lying layers of its crust on the near side. The Moon is, beside when passing through Earth's shadow during a lunar eclipse, always illuminated by the Sun, but from Earth the visible illumination shifts during its orbit, producing the lunar phases.[19] The Moon is the brightest celestial object in Earth's night sky. This is mainly due to its large angular diameter, while the reflectance of the lunar surface is comparable to that of asphalt. The apparent size is nearly the same as that of the Sun, allowing it to cover the Sun almost completely during a total solar eclipse. From Earth about 59% of the lunar surface is visible over time due to cyclical shifts in perspective (libration), making parts of the far side of the Moon visible.
For humans the Moon has been an important source of inspiration and knowledge, having been crucial to cosmography, mythology, religion, art, time keeping, natural science, and spaceflight. On September 13, 1959 the Soviet Union's Luna 2was the first human-made object to reach the Moon and any extraterrestrial body, and the first soft landing was achieved in 1966 by Luna 9. On July 20, 1969 the United States' Apollo 11mission landed humans for the first time on the Moon, and any extraterrestrial body, at Mare Tranquillitatis with the lander Eagle. Five more crews were sent between then and 1972, each with two men landing on the surface. The longest stay was 75 hours by the Apollo 17 crew. Thereafter exploration of the Moon has continued robotically, with crewed missions being planned to return starting in the late 2020s.

June 2022 Important Dates
Tumblr media
AKA my notes from The Astrology Podcast’s June Forecast.
May Recap: We’re going into this month off a total lunar eclipse mid-May, of which Chris took some photos:
Tumblr media
Speaking of eclipses, we’ll have another full solar eclipse over the continental USA on April 8th, 2024. Once again, here is the eclipse calendar for 2022:
Tumblr media
As you can see, this year is all on the Taurus-Scorpio axis, and people with fixed sign emphasis especially have been seeing major shakeups and beginnings. With Uranus in Taurus (squaring Saturn), the nodes are now lighting up the disruptions the outer planet has brought us. Significations like the volatile market, dirsuptions in basic commodities, and labor struggles are all being amplified.
During the past month Mercury retrograde in Gemini andTaurus also showed itself in current events. Some examples in the US include appointing a head of disinformation investigations but then backtracking, the Supreme Court ruling draft leak, and George Bush’s Freudian slip about unlawfully invading...who, again? Straddling two signs, Mercury has been contacting both Jupiter and Saturn--our big, visible, society-level planets.
Speaking of the Supreme Court, it seems the leaked document was written around late February, when Venus was just finishing up her retrograde cycle conjoining Pluto and Mars. Issues of control over women, sexuality and privacy in general have all been raised. As I pointed out last forecast, we heard about this document right as Venus entered Aries, her sign of detriment. Jupiter’s presence in Aries also belies divisiveness over ideology, law, religion and morality, though bravery is here as well. Chris brings up Jupiter and the 9th house being associated with both religion & politics--our beliefs can be less logical than we think they are.
May 28th - Venus entered Taurus For most of the month, Venus will be in her home of Taurus, while Mars & Mercury are also at home in Aries & Gemini. She can provide some much-needed grounding in contrast to the other chaotic energies this month. However, she’ll run into Uranus & Rahu (the North Node) and square Saturn towards the end of the sign. Up until that point we might see some stabilizing in areas like stocks or basic needs (though not necessarily improvements). We’re also moving out of eclipse season, with the New Moon two days ago indicating regular, little beginnings & endings instead of the life-changing instability of eclipses. Venus and Saturn will square each other in domicile, which can be grounding. However, Saturn is a little stronger here, so expect to negotiate boundaries and structures.
June 3rd - Mercury stations Direct In late degrees of Taurus, he’s squaring Saturn, who stations retrograde the next day. This is a similar configuration to November 2020, when Mercury stationed direct square Saturn, bringing slowness and delays such as the recounts in the US election. We can likely expect postponements to be announced around this time. With the North Node & Algol close to Mercury, we’ve got a lot of imagery about losing one’s head--it’ll take awhile to tease out the truth, and Austin predicts that some terrible events may come to life. The story of Medusa (whose head is symbolized by Algol) is especially relevant right now regarding women and politics.
June 4th - Saturn stations Retrograde Saturn does so in late Aquarius, squaring newly direct Mercury. Saturn generally says no to things, and combined with Mercury can bring about hyper-criticism that may freeze us in place. Saturn is in domicile and terms, with Mercury in his decan, so Saturn is going to win out in any struggles here. Meanwhile, Jupiter and Mars have just conjoined, propelling us to motion in other areas of life. This is also the furthest Saturn has made it into Aquarius and the furthest he’ll get for awhile, really affecting fixed placements.
June 11th - Mercury reenters Gemini Once out of range of Saturn’s influence, Mercury is fast, strong in domicile, and receives a further boost of jet fuel from Jupiter and then Mars. What has been slow will suddenly speed up; think hot, fast, and bold for the second half of June.
June 12th - Full Moon At 23° of Sagittarius
Tumblr media
We’re experiencing this lunation just as things are starting to pick up speed again: Mercury just entered Gemini the day before, Venus has been forced into contact with Uranus and Rahu, Saturn has stationed, and dignified Mars is just within trine distance (depending on the orb you use). The lights are square Neptune, so although there is light on the Sagittarius area of our charts, it may be a clouded or illusory vision. In contrast, Saturn is trine the Sun and sextile the Moon, which may have a grounding effect.
This is also the first lunation in Sagittarius since 2019 that isn’t an eclipse, so mutable risings and any planets here can breathe a sigh of relief as we see Sagittarius lit up in a healthier way. Sagittarius likes to quest, and especially with Neptune contacting the lights and Jupiter in Aries bringing general bravery, it can be a good time for seekers and inspiration.
Venus will get pushed into motion a few days earlier by Uranus, which Chris thinks may introduce us to something new and exciting, breaking our routine. Austin advises caution in Venusian efforts around this time, though, since Uranus is so unpredictable and Saturn is waiting nearby to refuse our requests.
June 21st - Sun enters Cancer As we begin summer, the activity in fire & air signs may overshadow Cancer’s nurturing nature. Mercury is already strong Gemini, but he’s also treading new ground once he passes about 10°. Meanwhile, Mars & Jupiter in Aries are all energy.
June 22nd - Venus enters Gemini She joins Mercury, further quickening the pace and making things more social & chatty. Sometimes it’s refreshing to be superficial or just have some light banter instead of probing the depths of one’s psyche. Venus in Gemini seeks variety and enjoys sampling many different things.
June 26th - Auspicious electional chart for the month
Tumblr media
Adjust time to about 10:55AM local time, or Virgo rising. The chart’s ruler Mercury is dignified in Gemini in the 10th whole sign house, and Venus is there as well. The Moon is also in Gemini, separating from a conjunction with Venus, a sextile with Jupiter in Aries, and applying to a conjunction with her ruler Mercury. This chart emphasizes 10th house & Mercury/Virgo/Gemini themes such as communication, career, and reputation. Venus is also applying to a sextile with Jupiter in the 8th, and though Jupiter is there, Mars’s copresence in a day chart means we should curb our ambitions in the realm of taxes and debt. Overall this is one of the best Mercury charts for the year that Chris & Leisa have found. It’s a good time for writing & talking about things, sharing on social media if content creation is part of your career, and generally putting out important communications like requests, proposals, and pitches.
June 28th - New Moon in Cancer, Neptune stations Retrograde Here is the chart for the New Moon:
Tumblr media
The Moon is at 7° of Cancer. Venus and Mercury are in Gemini, and the moon is closely square Jupiter, which in turn is sextiling Venus. Guest host Catherine Urban predicts a change in the baby formula shortage situation considering the nurturing and motherhood significations of the Moon and Cancer. The Moon is unafflicted, and with a trine from Neptune in Pisces, so the emphasis is on water energies and restfulness. What do we need to feel safe and secure, and to thrive? Get ready to accomplish more Jupiter in Aries things by taking a day or two off to replenish.
As for Neptune, this is the furthest he’s gone into Pisces this time around, but it’s not going to contact other planets too much this month. It may be worth noting that Jupiter and Neptune play big parts in both lunations this month. Mercury does have a square with Neptune going into July, so be careful of illusions in communications as the month changes.
June 30th - Mars square Pluto (not pictured) In classic terms this is a struggle between the seen (Mars) and unseen (Pluto) powers. Power dynamics will become exaggerated and untenable. Catherine points out that, while the world may seem to erupt, there is also a bit of powerhouse energy or clearing of the path that we might be able to tap into as individuals. Chris describes it as Mars moving forward while Pluto calls the shots from the shadows--we might be moving foward while unaware of larger forces manipulating us. Mars being so late in Aries means he’ll enter Taurus soon, joining Uranus and Rahu; and furthermore he’ll square Saturn on July 4th, reactivating that whole T-square with Uranus. Rest up now, because July's starting off with a bang!

Full Moon Rituals
Tumblr media
Full Moon ritual post
Hey everyone! We’ve got a special treat today. Today is a full moon with a lunar eclipse. Now unfortunately those of us in the Northern Hemisphere won’t get to see it but there’s still plenty of power to be gotten from this months moon rituals.
JUNE FULL MOON 2020
Tumblr media
For millennia, people across Europe, as well as Native American tribes, named the months after features they associated with the Northern Hemisphere seasons, and many of these names are very similar or identical.
June’s Strawberry moon is linked to the ripening of wild strawberries. Other common names include Rose Moon and Mead Moon,as roses bloom around the same time . In Anglo-Saxon cultures, June was the time to begin harvesting the Meadows to make Mead.
Tumblr media
THINGS TO DO DURING ANY FULL MOON
Regardless of the time of year, Full Moon rituals are a big part of our magic. Used as a time for cleansing and charging our tools, our space and ourselves. Take the time to self-care, meditate and release any negative energy clinging to you.
Some spells and rituals that are beneficial during this time are banishing negative energy or people from your life, encouraging abundance and creating moon water for other spell-work.
Cleansing and Grounding
https://i0.wp.com/greenmanmeadows.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/5-Signs-That-You-Need-Spiritual-Grounding-The-Dream-Catcher-1.png?w=1022&ssl=1
The best start to any ritual or spell is to cleanse. Start with your sacred space. Saging your home and your altar. Take the time to do some cleaning and decorate the space around you. Since we are in June, flower are blooming and help bring bright positivity into your home. Put roses on your altar to honor June’s Rose Moon.
If you haven’t already started to decorate for Litha, now is a great time.(If you haven’t already seen my post on Litha, Check it out here.) Open your windows and doors if you can, use the breeze to clear out negative energies.
Tumblr media
Basic Space Cleansing Ritual
If you are using Sage or Palo Santo or a cleansing spray, you’ll need to grab that first. Open your front door or one window in your home. Starting from one end of your home, spray or smudge each room, driving it towards the open entry. You can chant, sing or whatever method you choose to use. I’ve heard of people using bells or a pot and spoon, using the sound to drive any bad energy out. Once you have cleared every room then the next step is to clear yourself.
Self Care-Cleansing during a Full Moon
Full Moons are a good time to focus on yourself if you haven’t had a chance to recently. Eat your favorite treat, have a ice cold drink, dress in your favorite outfit, whatever’s your jive.
Normally if you are going to do any spell-work, cleansing yourself with a salt bath before hand is a good way to clear your mind and body at the same time.
Make sure to smudge yourself and your house members(furry or otherwise, just make sure they don’t breathe it in) as well. That ensures everything is cleansed and grounded.
Tumblr media
Full Moon Ritual
Items Needed: Pen Paper Candle Matches/Lighter 2 Bowls( metallic or ceramic preferably) Water
Sitting in your sacred space or altar area, cast a magic circle.(check out Grove and Grotto for a great beginner tutorial)
Clear your mind and ground yourself. Envision a white light filling you from head to toe, casting out any negative energy.
Light your candle and place the two bowls before you( fill one with warm water)
On your paper, write down every single thing you want to release from your life, bad habits anxiety, lack of self confidence, whatever. Read each item aloud and recite ” I now release this, And it is so.( or So Mote it Be)” after each item.
Light the corner of the paper with the candle and drop it into the empty bowl. Watch the smoke and envision all of your negatives lifting away with the smoke of the candle.
Holding your hands over the bowl of water, envision and charge it with positive light and energy. Think of a positive to replace the negatives you’ve released. Place your hands in the water to signify all you are releasing and “cleansing” yourself from.
Remove your hands from the water and quietly meditate for 2-3 minutes. Contemplate how you feel, go over your creations ad accomplishments so far, scry the candle flame etc.
Release the circle, dispose of the paper ashes and follow through on any other full moon activities you have planned. (journaling, charging crystals and making moon water are great ideas)
Moon Water
Tumblr media
Take a jar with clean water(a lot of witches use spring water or filtered water)
While holding the jar, infuse it with your intentions.( Full Moon is good for:Lunar blessings, charging tools and powering spells)
Set outside after Moon-rise and leave out overnight. ( if you can’t set it outside, a window with the most amount of moonlight is just as good)
Gather as early as possible in the morning( Solar energy is a different effect and can cancel out the moon energies)
Use for spell jars, cleansing or potions.
FULL MOON CRYSTALS
The Full Moon is also the best time to cleanse and recharge your crystals, tarot cards or other tools. Simply place outside in a bowl( if its going to rain, cover said bowl with saran wrap or a clear lid) and let charge overnight. Redistribute any protection crystals for your home and put back on any protective jewelry or amulets. Super Simple!
Tumblr media
Moonstone- Powerful Energy, Abundance and Good Fortune Blessings.
Labradorite- Intuition, Astral Travel,Psychic Abilities.
Gold Stone- Creativity, Dream Work,Abundance, Removing Blockages.
Selenite- Cleansing the Aura, Mental Clarity, Psychic Abilities.
OTHER ACTIVITIES TO DO:
Journal Read your Tarot Cards Sit in the Moonlight for a while Make a vision board Go to bed early
So that’s the basic run down of some cool things you can do during the Full Moon. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes second nature. You will actually find it’s a nice break to help recenter yourself especially if you’ve had a hectic month.
*If you check out Facebook or Instagram, there are a number of other blogs who will be doing a nation/worldwide spell for Justice. This is in light of the recent circumstances happening in our world, primarily the murder of George Floyd. Feel free to join these if you want, or to make your own ritual and send blessings out into the world to those who need it right now.
What will you be doing for the June Full Moon? Let me know in the comments below or on Facebook. Don’t forget to pin this post for your next full moon ritual.

Convo With Terra re. KH Guardians of Light
These days, it seems like I'm naturally drawn to some of the KH guardians more than others, where as at the start (in 2020/2021), I was able to see and spend time with the whole group if I wanted to.
What started off as a casual conversation with Terra quickly became a therapy crash course, from an all of a sudden wise Terra, on how to get the whole group again. The energy I get determines what Terra (or anyone else) says, and here, like I said, Terra got freakishly smart and powerful; and it made for a very interesting chat.
Everything that's spoken about is what's occurring in my timeline, it isn't obviously the cannon timeline nor do you have to adopt it.
I've been prompted on many occasions in my dreams to 'unite' the guardians and get them back all into one space, which is why I feel I need to carry this out. With Riku and Terra leading the pack as my dream guides.
The 'main event' was my grandma having a fall this weekend (while being sick) and having to go to the hospital to get checked out.
-----------------------------------
START CONVERSATION
Me: “Hey Terra, you’re always checking on me, so this time I’m just seeing how you’re doing; especially after everything that’s gone on so far this weekend”.
Terra: “Thanks for checking up on me, I’m doing alright. There really hasn’t been anything big on Kingdom Hearts’ end as we’ve spent most of our time looking after you this weekend. We did have a meeting earlier in the week to say that you’re still struggling with all the guardians, but then Riku and I had to call Jak and rush to your side”.
Me: “The main event is over now. Heaven forbid anything else happens. At least we can all breathe tonight and I can get back to my own personal ventures. Now it’s back to chasing guardians and, as you said, trying to have all nine or ten of you here again all at once”.
Terra: “I know this might contradict what I’ve said recently; but maybe it’s not a good idea to actively chase after them. The only reason I say that is because I notice you making some sort of action plan in your mind, but when it comes time for you to act it out or just put pen to paper, you tend to get really tired and lose steam to be able to do anything”.
Me: “Communication interference again. Blame the current Mercury Retrograde, and the Lunar Eclipse, and another energies or concepts tampering with this timeline. For my brain to suggest something but then not let me carry it out really pisses me off. Like was my set job to unite Kingdom Hearts or not? Perhaps it’s the bloody 3D environment again”.
Terra: “Mmm. That’s another thing I worry about. That if you manage to get some of the other guardians onboard, but when you’re no longer putting energy into talking to them, then they’ll slip away again”.
Me: I’m thinking about them again now; so let me lay out my thoughts fast”.
Terra: “Alright”.
Me: “The ones I had strong connections with were different at the start. Like at the start of it all, I was so close to Roxas and now we barely even rate a signal, let alone any of the Twilight trio. That’s just one example between now and then”.
Terra: “Mmm. I recall that Roxas carried you once or twice. Your intention was to give him a sub role at the start, but now that’s what Ven’s got. Ven and Roxas are both connected to Sora, and they both look the same. So what I actually think is that Roxas’ imprint has been given to Ven, but in a way that you didn’t pick up on it. I think that if you went with Lea, then Roxas would have been more involved. But as it stands, you’ve headed in the direction of our trio, being Aqua, Ven and I”.
Me: “But I thought I was supposed to be with the entire group as a whole”.
Terra: “As frustrating as it may be, I saw that these so called end times are all about you choosing a side. So there’s that ultimate choice of good versus evil, but then you might also have to choose with smaller issues”.
Me: “And how does that relate to the trios?”.
Terra: Our Wayfinder and their Twilight trios are very different, and If you’ve paid attention to the two, they almost seem like opposites. To you, the Twilight guys might seem more relaxed and easygoing, where Aqua, Ven and I have more structure and sort of code of conduct. So you’re either pulled towards them, or us”.
Me: “But I haven’t anchored Aqua to the magnet as it were”.
Terra: “And that’s why you’re able to pick up one of the Twilight guys. Aqua wanted to step up so that we could in-fact take you as a trio, but obviously you and her weren’t a good match. So Lea’s there instead as her opposite. And like I said before; it’s either Ven or Roxas; and so that leaves my opposite being Xion or Namine”.
Me: “And that’s another odd thing, being that I’ve never spoken to Xion. She and I are both INFJ, and yet we know each other the least”.
Terra: “I wouldn’t be able to do much on that one as I don’t really know Xion that well myself. But I think the reason you talk to her the least is because you know the least of her story. You haven’t really seen enough of her at all to be able to imagine and launch your interaction with her. Hang on a minute, Riku’s saying something to me as well. Riku says that Xion comes from Sora’s memories of Kairi. So perhaps if you were closer to Sora and Kairi, then you would be drawn to Xion more. But as it stands, you’re close to neither of them”.
Me: So you’re saying that the guardians have a link, and depending on who I’m with, that determines which link I follow?”.
Terra: “It makes sense because at the start, you chose Riku, and then you saw that I was connected to him as a link, being that I passed down the power of the keyblade. Did you ever notice that when you were just under Riku, you aligned more with Sora and Kairi?”.
Me: “Yes. I frequented the islands more, and Sora and Kairi were present without much thought. That’s also when I was able to travel to other KH worlds more freely”.
Terra: “That’s because you were more on the main plot line back then, whereas by having me as your direct mentor, you’re channelling the Birth By Sleep plot line, whether you intended to or not. Under Riku’s instruction, that’s when you had all the big group gatherings, and you were able to land yourself in any world, because that’s what his best friend did. Riku and I may both be your dream guides, but depending on who you spend more time with, you also take the direction of that one’s surroundings. The reason you have an equal balance with everyone in Jak’s world is because Jak’s your only dream guide and he’s the main guy”.
Me: “Man… Talk about a game, book or movie dictating where I go in life…”.
Terra: “I guess I know why some people in your world call it subconscious programming. But with the ascension process in mind, you have the power to do anything and shape your world into what you see fit. You’ve already done that with Riku, Jak and I, so now you have to think about doing it to all the guardians. Rather than thinking about the guardians as individuals who look and behave different, and who live in various different worlds; try to focus more on us as the collective, who are on the same team, fighting against the darkness for the greater good. I know you can do it because I’m already a changed man thanks to you. I was designed to be a broken man mourning the loss of my father figure and still lamenting over what could have been. But you’ve destroyed Xehanort’s grip over me and my feelings, and that’s allowed me to move on much quicker than if we didn’t find each other. And you set up a personal mission to correct the way that you perceived Master Eraqus had treated me. You actively made the choice to free me from that pre-written script. You’ve set me on the path of discovering my own true potential, with my friends by my side, whilst being your teacher, friend and father figure”.
Me: “Hang on a second… I’ve just noticed a bit of a contradition. You’re saying to change my view of the guardians from individual to collective, yet to shape them into suitable beings for the timeline individually?”.
Terra: “In your timeline, most of the guardians of light are still running loose. You’re going to spend more time trying to round them each up individually than as a whole group, because while you’re focusing on Roxas, Kairi slips out and runs off in a different direction. That’s why you gather them all at the same time, and then when you have them, that’s when you can go to each of them and fine-tune all the details. Get them out of that scripted matrix and then work on them”.
Me: “There’s just one thing I’d like to know”.
Terra: “What’s that?”.
Me: “How did ‘I don’t know what help I can offer’ and ‘don’t chase after them’ change to you seeming to innerstand the entire issue and talking to me like you’ve hacked into my brain and you’re telling me exactly how to get all of them and make them stay?”.
Terra: “Like I’ve become some sort of scholarly sage huh?”.
Me: “Yes… How?”.
Terra: “Well you pretty much gave me the keys to the entire vault; and with that, you said I have free reign to use what ever resources in there and to do what ever I had to, to guide you and keep you on the right path. So with a few ground-rules in place, you pretty much gave me access to everything and told me to work as if I’m your dream dad”.
Me: “I raise another concern here, being that I don’t want every single guardian to be a dream mum or dream dad, aka dream guide. So how do I work with each one individually while placing that boundary on them?”.
Terra: “You have the perfect answer to that question with Aqua, because that’s exactly what you did with her. She acted in one way, but then you took the time to shape her into the path that you wanted her to go down. She pushed too much for your liking, so you told her to back off. But then she went too much the other way, so you went back and told us what you want again, as well as putting those taxes in place”.
Me: “So I have to do that for every single guardian of light”.
Terra: “You don’t have to if that’s not what you want, but it’s probably the best way to keep them. Like with Sora, you clearly got him out of Quadratum and I was there when it happened, but because you didn’t give him anywhere to go after that, it’s like he’s still lost. I know you think you shouldn’t have to give them every single direction and that they should be able to make their own decisions as people, but it’s just about putting them on some sort of path rather than leaving them in an empty void. Think about how you did so with Ven. You gave him an event to work towards, which is what you call the last day”.
Me: “So I guess I’m pretty much on the right track with your trio then, which is why they’re intact”.
Terra: “As it’s the next day now, I wanted to pass on something that Lea said to me in the space of time when you were getting ready for bed last night”.
Me: “What’s it mainly about?”.
Terra: “It’s about Xion”.
Me: “Ah, okay”.
Terra: “Lea said that the reason you’ve had almost no interaction with Xion isn’t because you don’t know her story, but that it’s something to do with her actual personality. You might be both INFJ, but I’ve realised that you’re more of an ambivert, which makes you unique. Whereas Xion’s almost completely introverted, which makes her more shy and closed off than you are. She doesn’t openly talk to someone unless they’re really close to her, and rather she keeps a lot of things to herself”.
Me: “So Xion will be the hardest to work on”.
Terra: “Having the same personality type doesn’t always mean that it’s going to be easy, especially if one of your traits is more subtle and there’s is more intense; or the other way around. But Lea said that if you want his help to connect with the other Twilight Town guys, then he’ll do what he can. And you know that Riku and I are always here for you too. I might just leave you with one last thought. You know how you’ve got the whole of Kingdom Hearts’ attention with me? It’s not just because you and I are connected, but it’s the lengths that you’ve gone to in order to look after me and transform me as a person. That’s just a reminder that you have the power to do anything if you put your mind to it and make some time to do the work, or at least believe that it can come true, as Cinderella taught me”.
Me: “Thank you so much, Terra. I’ll see what I can do with all the information you’ve given me, and maybe it’s the ultimate boost I need to get everyone back here and united”.
Terra: “That’s okay. Let me know if you need anything else, alright?”.
END CONVERSATION

EDIT: Just now (1:10 AM), Terra pointed out to me that half the guardians are fairly stable, and half aren't; so I can split them into 2 groups:
Stable (/adequate): Riku, Terra, Aqua, Ventus, Lea
Unstable: Sora, Kairi, Roxas, Xion, Namine
