“Oh? What would I call them?” Stede felt himself grinning and he looked away from the intensity of his gaze until Ed put a hand on his, his touch light.

“Stede’s Seaside Weeds.”

This is making some people a little bit crazy. Or a lot bit crazy. :P

Oh yyeeaahhh. It’s, oddly enough, exposing a lot of their weaknesses. Like, it’s very obvious they have no idea (or flat out don’t want to) how to handle new ways of doing things. And they’re critical thinking skills are shot.

Although, admittedly, the funniest thing to witness so far is all of them freaking out over not being able to gossip enough (or work chat is a nightmare) while I’m the introvert chilling peacefully xD

I honestly like Reyes, but I stay out of a lot of threads about him. There are parts of the fandom that have tried to hold him up as perfect, and torn down other characters (not just Sloane). I waited for my Ryder to form her own opinion once I'd already played most of the arch (plus I've been reading Uprising for context). There is a lot of problematic stuff, but there's also lots of realistic people too. It's 4am so apologies if I'm not coherent.

I disobeyed my own rules - I rubbernecked in the tags because friends told me how bad it was, and they weren’t joking. I should know better - I learnt from being a Blackwall fan you just don’t look at the tags, just don’t.

I’m going to put this blog on a short hiatus; it’s not going away (don’t worry!), but my work is very busy this time of year and it’s it’s just not great timing. I’ve also got some personal challenges that I need to work through.

If you have anything you want me to see, feel free to send it my way. I’m still out here, but I’m going to refocus my efforts on creating some content and headcanons on the side, working on writing, and getting through the hell that is October at my company. Last week was a 65+ hour week at work and I’m expecting a lot more before the month is out.

Keep the Conniel faith my friends and I’ll be back when things are less stressful! Hopefully, back with some interesting things for you guys to read!

@manicparadox: Thanks! I'd like to think it was all those years of playing games without mods and crying through the limited options. But I'm pretty proud of them, not looking forward to trying to get the exact specs again when recreating them in my PS4 copy but hey, I'll try.
