Replaying the beginning of the Inazuma archon quest and actually what happens to people’s visions after they die? Not the “they fade out” part, I know that, but are there like, customs for disposing with dead people’s visions? Is that something they have to put into their will? Is there a market for masterless visions? We saw during the crux clash that there was a fair bit of interest in kazuha’s friend’s masterless vision, and I know the majority of teyvat’s population are not vision bearers, but, as we saw from the number of visions inlaid in the statue, there are enough of them to be significant, so statistically since vision bearers are not immortal there are probably enough dead vision holders to supply a fair amount of masterless visions. Therefore since masterless visions exist and people seem to have an interest in them there probably have to be some kind of rules about what happens to visions when the vision bearers die so as to prevent chaos and I’m sooo curious as to what those are like. I wonder if it differs by nation or if there’s a set of rules for everyone or if it’s up to individual choice…

Even though it's not my birthday yet, I told myself I could start rolling today because it was Bennett's birthday, which is a tremendously transparent excuse for impatience XD;; but! I was only going to do 50 rolls total and save the rest for my actual birthday, and instead 30 in.... Yae came home early!

I can no longer find the post where I had the Shogun Loyalist building party with the description "this is where I would put my Yae Miko, if I had one," but: now I have one, and here she goes. :>

Now I just have to figure out what artifact set to give her. I have lots of Emblem of Severed Fate right now, which is what I was planning, but looking at guides some of the mixed sets may be just as good for me, and intriguingly, if I keep this team, I may actually have a reason to use Thundersoother. The thing is, this is a character-building party, and I have no idea if it'll be fun and useful enough to keep when I'm done. XD;; I may go for a mixed set just to be on the safe side....

new dream star wars project: a tom stoppard-esque play about Solis and Fidelis playing space chess together for ten years. just a two hour long absurdist dialogue between two old droids. nothing else happens. you leave the play with a deep indefinable grief, unable to say which of them is the tragedy -- the one who still has their reason for functioning, or the one who lost it. is it better to be devoid of inherent meaning and free, or to belong to something and be trapped by it. maybe love is a little like that too. literally no one else in the galaxy cares tho just the two of you to everyone else you're scrap metal waiting to happen. goodnight

(they're from yoda: dark rendezvous and they are my favorite depiction of droids in star wars. there's such an air of melancholy and existential dread around them and it's so fucking GOOD. they're both footman droids, another absolute winner concept -- they're basically the galaxy's most lethal butlers and all-round caretakers, and the ethical ramifications around sentience and hardcoded loyalty they bring up... delicious. do you like magneto and professor x having meaningful chess matches against each other. well solis and fidelis are basically doing the low-key droid freedom and sentience philosophy version of that. solis I stan you to a galaxy far far away and back)

Harley stops in her tracks, expression almost resembling that of a kicked dog. She hadn't really meant to start following Mary — it was just something that happened. A lot of things lately just seemed to happen && she wasn't quite sure why. Harley had felt more out of sorts than usual, but that was still a pretty hard thing to figure out when she spent a lot of time out of sorts. She blamed it on the medication, but it was really because she hadn't been on her ADHD medication in a while. Maybe she needed to go back to Arkham for a a little bit && get out with a better escape plan.

It wasn't a lie, but it felt more than a little weird telling the truth. Well, she supposed it felt weird to tell the truth when she'd spent more than half her life just lying.
