one of the big mcc things for me is the removal of the practise server effectively from mcc - with the creation of mcci ccs practise and play on there, and not on the private practise server - effectively removing so many of the interactions and community there was before.
some of if not all of my actual favourite mcc content was the mucking about on that server, the parkour warrior competitions and bets, the battle box and dodgebolt random lobbies a week before, a night before, and the hour before the event. and all that is just gone now!
it was just such a big part of getting excited for the event for me, and teambuilding and building community in the mcc scene i think its had a big effect on how ccs approach mcc and the lack of community or interactions as well
just realized team TIES has no one who knows how to play mcc on their team. usually there's at least one person who is very familiar with the gameplay. they are like children who have been sent alone to an amusement park
yea like smallishbeans. so during mcc 13 he got too excited and knocked over his cup, breaking his keyboard and forcing him to sprint to scott's house during the break to borrow one for the reset of the event LMAO and then AGAIN during mcc 15 he did the same thing, luckily this time lizzie wasn't playing so he just borrowed her keyboard instead. lizzie then proceeded to joke about (and then actually buy) joel a sippy cup to prevent any further accidents, which has been extremely successful! he has not since ruined any more keyboards, although i admittedly don't know if he just learned to be more careful
