Phasma pursed her lips. She could not say that the unfortunate merman could already turn into fish food to this moment - the ocean is cruel. Not after all those endless speeches from Kylo. It would break him.

"We agreed that I would return in a year and I returned."

"I don't think he had a calendar."

"Serifs?"

"Mermaids can count?"

It's a ~35k Kylux fic that I wrote last year and I don't remember a single word of it. XD

What I do remember is that it features a half-xeno Kylo and a half-xeno Hux going through a classic pre-TFA plot of bringing the galaxy to heel. With some merman porn thrown into the mix.

Mermay 2023!

In which King Techie is forced to stay home and listen to his brother Prince Armitage tell him all the duties he needs to attend to. He’s bored out of his mind and only perks up when Thomas comes to tell Techie that he has visitors! Techie is shocked to see his beloved Lighthouse Keeper Matt and his cousin Kylo as merman!

He dashed into Mattie’s arms immediately and after a kiss asked how this was possible. Apparently Kylo has been dabbling in all kinds of magic and enchanted the pearls Techie gave Matt!

On the other side of the room Kylo is so happy to see Hux again. Of course Hux missed him and is super impressed right?

WRONG.

Hux hasn’t heard from Kylo in months and now he just shows up here? In his home no less!

Armitage proceeded to show Kylo exactly HOW wrong he was.

It’s okay. Merman Thomas (Armitage hates him.) is there to take care of the handsome merman/human. He’s so sweet and brave to do all this just for mean old Armitage. Maybe Thomas can-

Hux isn’t having it. Kylo Ren is HIS stupid human. Of course there’s an argument. Thomas says Armitage surrendered Kylo. Armitage says he did no such thing and tightens his possessive grip on Ren. (His throat by accident or so he says.)

However they realize in the all the commotion… Techie has escaped. AGAIN.

Techie doesn’t care much what happens. Armitage is better at the political scene. He also knows that Armie is going to keep Ren. AGAIN.

He’s just happy to send another Mermay with his beloved Lighthouse Keeper. ♥️

Elements of Asking Alexandria

I don't post here that often, so I decided not only which elements (fire, water, earth, and air) of the four Asking Alexandria members, but that element's corresponding fantasy creature.

Cameron: Water 🌊

Shy, considerate, and timid, Cameron usually goes with the flow like a river on and off tour, especially since Ben's departure back in January. Fittingly for the Kylo Ren of AA, I made his fantasy creature a merman so he could control water and remain underwater for up to 5 minutes. No wonder Cameron is my favorite left-handed guitarist.

Danny: Fire 🔥

For the passionate frontman, Danny unleashes both a gravelly baritone and powerful growls and screams with each live performance, making him perfect for his dragon persona. If Danny could, he'd breathe fire nearly every time he unleashes his harsh vocals!

Sam: Earth 🪴

As the youngest Asking Alexandria member, Sam treats his fans, family, and bandmates with utmost respect and kindness onstage and offstage. In fact, his fantasy creature would be half-human, half-elf because Sam is extremely impartial and considerate towards the other three members.

James: Air 🌀

Thanks to his muscular physique, pretty boy facial features, and take-no-prisoners attitude, James moves as quickly as the wind with his aggressively rhythmic drumbeats. As for his fantasy creature, an angel would work perfectly for mister Cassells so that he can take to the skies in his free time.

Final Note: Before Ben left Asking Alexandria, I associated him with both earth and elves like Sam because of his devotion to not only his family, but also his passion for music.

Mermay Day 4 - Reylo May the Fourth Be With You. Fill the Void.

Ray smiled as her jelly fish companion swam by her side. “What did you find BB?” She asked as she flapped beside him.

The mantra ray mermaid shifted carefully beside a sunken ship. She slipped through the entrance as the jelly swam behind her.

She began to shift through the items within, some would be good for trading, other items would be good for her own personal use.

As she went through the treasures she smiled picking up an old vase. She turned it over in her hands when suddenly a black tentacle wrapped around her wrist. She looked up only to see a merman come out from the depths, he had a octopus like under tail, his tentacle released her wrist as he looked up in surprise.

“Didn’t mean to scare you.” He said said softly. “This is my home, I don’t get many visitors.”

“You live here?” She asked in surprise as his black hair swirling slightly in the water, his bare chest was slightly distracting to her.

“I do,” he smiled inching closer. “So I’m going to ask you, what are you doing here? You’re a mer-ray. What are you doing here? Don’t you have a pod?”

“No,” she replied softly. “ I don’t. Not all mermaids of all forms have pods. I was orphaned.. I use trade to eat and other things. I was coming to use some of these for trading. I apologize for taking your stuff.”

He smiled at her softly. “I could offer you a place here.”

She looked up in surprise. “You would let me stay here?”

“I would.” He smiled as he wrapped two tentacles around around and brought her closer, her jellyfish companion growing closer.

She looked over his dark tentacles with a smile. He had red suckers and under skin. She looked him over with question.

“I’m Kylo, what’s your name?” He asked inching closer.

“R..Rey.” She replied softly, her face covered in a deep blush.

He chuckled. “A mer-ray… named Rey.”

“Don’t laugh.” She grinned hiding her smile.

BB inched closer once more worried for his companion. BB was an intelligent jelly compared to many.

“A friend of yours?” He asked cocking his head towards the hovering creature.

“Oh.. yeah. He’s my buddy.”

“Cute I suppose.” He smirked letting her go once he unwrapped himself from her. “It gets lonely all alone.”

She nodded knowing very well how lonely it could be when there was no one to talk to. She did have BB but there was no verbal conversations. He also couldn’t come on shore with her, or on rocks.

She looked over the mer-octopus and nodded. “Alright I think I could make this work. I have some stuff I need to get from my cave, I’ll be back?”

“Need some extra arms?” He asked with a smile lifting his twisting tentacles with a smile.

She smirked a bit and nodded. “Why not, alright let’s do that.”

He smiled and they swam through the beautiful coral reef past colorful fish and a pod of cheerful dolphins.

“This reef is beautiful.” He smiled not having left the ship much since he left his family. She smiled and nodded as they finally made it to her cave home.

There wasn’t much, and she only wanted a few things if she was being honest. She placed a necklace around her neck that she had had since she was young, unsure of where it really came from.

She handed him a few different pots and shiny things she had collected before they went back. He followed her with a smile, he was happy to have new friend and he hoped to grow their relationship. He knew he hardly knew her, but they both were lonely.

They could work together and help each other survive, but also fill the void of being alone.

They finally returned to the sunken ship. She placed her things around and smile as BB took his place in a pot he liked to lay in.

“So now what?” She asked curiously, she poked about with a soft smile and enjoyed the new surroundings.

“Well,” he smiled pulling her close, he brought her chin up so they were eye to eye. “This for starters.”

He kissed her then, she melted into the kiss with a smile. She could live with this, and she wanted to learn more about him. She kissed him back in return, he smiled and ran a hand through her hair with a grin.

“I think we can make this work.”

She giggled and kissed him once more with a soft smile. “So do I.”
