Taiso Samurai, svelata da MAPPA una nuova serie originale

Dopo Yuri!!! on Ice ad ottobre lo studio ci porterà nel mondo della ginnastica.

Presentata con tanto di teaser trailer la nuova serie animata originale dello studio MAPPA (Yuri!!! on Ice, Zombie Land Saga, Shingeki no Bahamut: Virgin Soul), intitolata “Taiso Samurai”, il cui primo episodio andrà in onda in Giappone l’11 ottobre.

La storia è ambientata nell'anno 2002 e segue la squadra di ginnastica maschile giapponese, un tempo ritenuta formidabile. Shoutarou Aragaki, ex membro del team che ha dedicato la sua vita alla ginnastica, non sembra più in grado di competere con le sue aspettative. Nonostante si alleni ancora strenuamente giorno dopo giorno, Amakusa, il suo allenatore, gli consiglia di ritirarsi. Tuttavia, un certo incontro finisce per sconvolgere il destino di Shoutarou.

Il progetto vede di nuovo lavorare assieme il regista Hisatoshi Shimizu (diretto d’episodio in Zombie Land Saga), lo sceneggiatore Shigeru Murakoshi (Zombie Land Saga, Dororo) e la character designer Kasumi Fukagawa (Zombie Land Saga, IDOLiSH7). Come direttore d’animazione in capo troviamo Fumihide Sai (Granblue Fantasy the Animation 2), mentre le musiche sono composte da Masaru Yokoyama (Bugie d’aprile, Her Blue Sky).

MAPPA Limbers Up for Original Gymnastics Anime Taiso Samurai

To say that anime studio MAPPA is staying busy is the understatement of the year. Now they have yet another fall anime to add to their schedule, this time with the announcement of an original gymnastics-based series titled Taiso Samurai.

Set in 2002, the story follows the 29-year-old former member of the Japanese mens' gymnastics team, Shotaro Aragaki, who can't quite compete like he used to. While he continues to train, his coach, Noriyuki Amakusa, urges him to retire. However, his devotion to gymnastics, continued training, and support from his daughter Rei push him in another direction.

Taiso Samurai is set to premiere in Japan on October 10. Check out the debut trailer:

Amyloidosis has been regarded as a rare disease, however, recent reports demonstrated that the prevalence of wild type ATTR amyloidosis is up to 25% in elderly persons aged 80 years or older. Progressive conduction disease is common in ATTR amyloidosis and approximately 20- 40% of patients with amyloidosis is estimated to require the pacemaker implantation. However, the diagnosis of amyloidosis in these patients would be underestimated because the invasive biopsy for the diagnosis is often hesitated in elderly persons. Therefore, it is ideal to perform the invasive biopsy to diagnose amyloidosis at the timing of pacemaker implantation. We here report the case that the subclavian fat biopsy with the pacemaker implantation was useful for the diagnosis of amyloidosis.Strontium ranelate stimulated the synthesis of PG by human chondrocytes. Strontium ranelate promotes the synthesis of PG capable of integrating the ECM. It has been show that post fracture use of strontium ranelate on the ovariectomized rats is associated with better fracture healing as assessed by radiography, histological analysis and biomechanical testing. The exact mechanism by which strontium ranelate exerts these effects is not definitely understood, but may include inhibition of osteoclast formation and stimulation of osteoblast proliferation.
