I saw on tik tok that Eren told Armin that he'll meet him in hell when they both die. In the ending theme, Eren got his happy ending with Mikasa in heaven.

Armin was not in that ending theme.

Chrono Trigger - To Far Away Times

Finished this other artwork of mine that I had as a WIP for quite a while - I did most of it but I had to do the final touches.

It is a reinterpretation of the True Ending in the masterpiece JRPG game "Chrono Trigger" for SNES, the Ending where boih Chrono and Marle find themselves floating on the city of Lenne because of air ballons that are too dense with helium.

I took liberties with how the city looks but I kept the Millenium Bell Of Lenee to give identiy to the scenario.

Overall I really enjoyed painting this artwork and listening to "To Far Away Times", the Closing Theme to Chrono Trigger, as I was working on the finishing touches, sent me back to those more innocent times.

Small things that break my heart in the ed:

the way Arnold only seems at peace (almost smiling even) when he's alone with Rishe;

the way Arnold only has eyes for Rishe (the rest of the time, he's off staring into space);

young Arnold's injuries/bandages... small hints to his backstory;

the way Rishe is so happy and open with her emotions (crying when she's hurt, sleeping when she's tired, smiling when she's happy) in contrast to Arnold's neutral expressions;

that last shot of Arnold on his own with the flower petals (which is a nice callback to the opening theme)
