Originally, Cookie Monster's Alistair Cookie persona from "Monsterpiece Theater" was depicted as smoking a pipe, as to mimic the original host of Masterpiece Theater- Alistair Cooke.

The pipe was removed as to not promote smoking. So, those segments with the pipe were re-taped.

Favorite Thing About Them: He is the character of Sesame Street who is the most like me: Bumbling, imaginative, naive and well meaning, who while trying to help people can sometimes make things worst with lots of mistakes.

Least Favorite Thing About Them: Nothing really, i think he is a great character and a good monster.

Three Things I Have In Common With Them:

*I am socially naive and bumbling;

*I am imaginative;

*I work with atending other people;

Three Things I Don't Have In Common With Them:

*He still keeps calm while other people get angry at him, whereas I suffer anxiety crisis when I know I angered someone;

*I didn't tryed surfing;

*I don't ride horses like he does in his Marshall Grover sketches;

Random Headcanon: He is on the Autism Spectrum, that is why he takes a slower time to do things like explaining what is or isn't on a restaurant menu and has dificulty to understand why other people get angry at him when he is only trying to help.

Unpopular Opinion: I feel that he is an underrated character compared with the big popularity of Big Bird, Oscar, Elmo, Abby Cadaby, Bert and Ernie and Count von Count.

Monsterpiece theater was legit the best sesame street sketch. Because every one had some sort of word play happening but some were just a lesson on basic concepts like words that start with I, numbers, what rhymes mean, or the difference between on and under, but them some were lessons on racism / accepting others despite your differences or disputing the idea that certain genders had to play with certain toys.

This particular blue of day 17 of Huevember reminded me of Cookie Monster, and particularly of the Monsterpiece Theater skits where he takes on the role of Alastair Cookie. I love the red in contrast to his bright blue fur, and wanted to incorporate it in rather than just draw a simple piece of Cookie Monster!
