Just the Moonah & Me

Okay so I was feeling creative and decided to write a poem inspired by the BBC Ghosts character Robin, ...Yeah thats basically it.

Its just the Moonah and me,

We talk all the time,

I share my worries,

And the Moonah doesn't mind.

It's just the Moonah and me,

Watching the stars shine.

Moonah is my friend,

Who has been with the the longest,

And me and Moonah just think about

the old friends that we've missed.

But it has been a long while,

And Moonah's getting tired,

So I think, just for now, it's time to retire.

Back inside, to my warm, cozy bed,

Where I can huddle up in the blankets, and dream about sunrise instead.

I wonder how the Captain feels about Matthew Perry dying? Perhaps he would identify even more with him as someone who was knocked down in his prime, as someone who tried hard to better the lives of the people around him. Perhaps he would reflect on his own life and how Havers his friends would've felt about him afterwards, looking at their statements. It's just interesting to think about.

I JUST REALISED THAT HUMPHREY ISNT AT THE ECLIPSE IN MOONAH STON???? LIKE NOT EVEN HIS HEAD???? THIS IS UNFAIR.

Like they all do this nice thing for robin as a group. they 'toast' together! they're all peaceful and laughing together, cap's kind and wry little "light pollution" will always get me.

When they all sit for the eclipse that is the first full group shot of the series where they're shown to have found that family vibe, and humphrey isnt included. at all. not even his head.

The first Moonah

Robin was just a small boy when he saw his first moonah.

His clan were all outside, dancing around banging their hands on skin drums. It was loud and Robin couldn't sleep, so he tentatively followed his mother out of the cave.

As he reached the clan, his mother smiled pushing him forward.

Robin was nervous. He should have just stayed in the cave.

The clan chanted, looking up at the sky.

"Ak moonah fe aloowa esh Moonah-"

One of the clan leaders grabbed him and Robin repressed a scared whimper.

Rule 1 of the clan. Show no weakness

They pushed him into the middle of the circle and continued their dance.

Robin saw his mother watching proudly from the sidelines, and with a final loud bang of the drums, a bright light appeared from behind the clouds.

Robin gasped in shock as it bathed him in light.

He covered his eyes as the full moon shone bright, and the stars twinkled merrily at him.

The light hit his face and reflected off his wide eyes, and Robin looked down at his hands and lifted them up.

He waved, and the moon shone even brighter.

The clan started to cheer, "Moonah moonah."

Robin smiled up at the moon as the clan lifed him up, yelling with glee.

He looked for his mother, who was fighting of some wolves with a stick.

She waved to him, whacking another wolf in the face.

"Moonah!" Cheered the troop.

Robin looked up at the sky for one last time, smiling.

"Thank you, Moonah."
