New post bc I don’t want one super long one tbh

Todays work was sculpting and painting :D I didn’t plan on building up weathering/texture with apoxie but I had to cover the engraved title somehow and this was the only way to make it look natural. The cover still needs additional weathering and aging, and obviously the oht still needs to be painted (very excited to do that part), but I’m really liking the look so far!!

Done the 1st quest so far. #The writing is not as terrible as the forums claimed but the way things are handled is just baffling. #Why tf would the Vestige tell ANYONE about being a member of the DB? #There's no choice but to out yourself? But you can (Lie) in a housing intro quest? #Not to mention that I (and others) did the DB and TG questline for the Perks but don't really acknowledge it as canon for our characters. #And what if someone's character just‚ idk‚ fucking quit the DB. DB->Daedric War is a tasty redemption arc btw. #We had a whole chapter about vampires and not a single NPC breathed a word about my Vestige being a vampire. #Also: Eveli's character development who? She was a promising character at the end of Orsinium‚ if a bit annoying. #Now she's just annoying. She deserved better. And she's ok with the Vestige being an assassin? post-oblivion crisis, pax goes back to cloud ruler temple exactly two times. the first time they are deep into their self-destructive and regular-destructive grief spiral and it doesn’t go well. the second time is a fair bit later and they show up without alerting anyone on guard like “dw about last time. I know that was a lot but I’m normal now” (they are not normal)

YALL. YALL. TAKE 2 IS SO MUCH BETTER. I can’t wait to glue this into the book oh my goddddddd. Still have to go over some of the black ink and erase some guidelines but I’m waiting for the red ink to dry. For reference here is take 1:

Like the difference is mind blowing 2 me. Agh I’m so glad I let my perfectionism win this one ahahha. The scale was allll wrong and I really tried to get the right messy look by moving quick and messing up the ink but. No absolutely Not. All of the mess was done by hand this time and the effect is 1000x better.

Now I have to decide if I feel like this image from one of the eso trailers is worth trying to use as a reference or if its not clear enough:

I would really, REALLY prefer to have at least one flippable page here but idk if that is going to happen. If I do make these pages I’m gonna have to take some serious artistic liberties lol. Could be fun to write something silly for the chunks of text I can’t read though!

Anyway, glad to finally be back with an update. Pls wish me luck on my next steps as they are going to be the difficult ones🫡
