Reality contains fractures, a series of anomalous events that defy explanation, with only remnants of their occurrences left behind. Letters, recordings, photos and reports are all that remains of these phenomena, housed within the Archive, a catalogue of the extraordinary and peculiar. Our first collection is calamitous events connected through the centuries: The Case of Albrecht Manor.

As a researcher for the Archive, read through Alex Dunn's letters and notes. Uncover the missing pieces of the mystery behind their rural Ontario home in 1993. Fine, but I will wear gloves just to be sure in case it's something dangerous or contagious after all. Maybe a mask as well in case it's anthrax or any other nice things for fan/enemy mail. I did receive many things via mail before, so I know how to handle those things.

The package isn't that big, it's a square box of about 6 inches per side. It's not heavy, when you shake it it doesn't sound metallic when it moves around inside, so it shouldn't be something mechanical or explosive.

I opened it and there is a second smaller red box inside it. And it feels somehow sticky. Maybe there is something organic inside, releasing a sticky liquid that leaks out of the box slightly.

I am opening it and- is that human? It looks human, the size fits, probably a male as it's bigger. The shape of the auricle and the number of pulmonary veins indicates it's human. Well I might have just received a case as well with this package, because how else do you get a human heart without something illegal involved? Well I have my ways, but most other people don't. I will have to investigate this further.

Mystery package

Last week a package arrived at our doorstep - a padded envelope, to be exact - bearing the wrong address and the wrong name. The return address suggested it was from Walmart.

The address on the envelope was extremely close, but, in fact, non-xistent. The name was completely unfamiliar. Another thing: Neither Sharon nor I had ordered anything from Walmart

Meanwhile, I had been waitiing for a set of hunting broadheads for my crossbow bolts. I had ordered them on-line in early October. but not from Walmart. I was informed Friday, via email, that my order had arrived, but we hadn't received any packages in recent days except the misguided Walmart envelope.

The padded envelop got shufflled from one flat space to another at our house as we did our best to ignore it. Then, for some reason, I picked it up Saturday and shook it. I'll be damned if it didn't sound like metal blades inside plastic packaging bubble.

Could it be ...? I scissored open one end of the envelope figuring that if the contents were anything other than my broadheads, I would come up with Plan B.

Yes, the envelope held the broadheads I had ordered. Same brand, same weight, same quantity.

The must be a logical explanation, but I'm not even going to try to figure it out.

Contained within this box is a collection of letters donated to our archive. Never meeting their intended recipient, the letters have instead found their way to our shelves as the content detailed within the letters suggests at something supernatural happening within Alex Dunn’s home. 

Based on the experiences described in Alex’s letters and the subsequent dreams it is difficult to classify this haunting as it does not fit the standard parameters. Presence of unexplained sounds and smells aligns with typical hauntings but lacks any meaningful manifestations of spiritual transcendence. A deeper review of these events is needed for proper classification within the archives and so this work falls to you. 

Review the content of the letters and the subsequent evidence included in the letters of Alex’s own exploration of the houses unexplained phenomena before the eventual end to the correspondence. Be sure to record any happenings of note as they may help with the classification of this phenomena, my intuition suspects this event may resist clear categorization.

Okay, so yesterday I get home from work and there’s like a packing slip thing on my front window… addressed to me. These things only happen when the package is too big to fit in the mail box… I have to actually go to the post office and get the package. I have no idea what is in said package. My guess is it’s that massive order I made on the 5SOS tour website… but I have no clue.

It’s actually driving me insane because I’m about to head out to work again today and I’ll have to go after dinner. I’m going to be twitchy about it all day!

Happy March 1st!! Some great news regarding my and @kittyacelia's Etsy shop;

[We've officially restocked our Comfort Character Boxes!!]

We've completely reformatted the way we handle our boxes, and included brand new images on the listings with all the information you may need!

The biggest change would be that we now have a blacklist for fandoms available instead of a whitelist. So, we can accept boxes from characters for nearly any fandom!! However, as a result of this change, we've changed the way we handle our custom-written letters.

💚 We've made letters completely optional, but still available for purchase with a list of whitelisted fandoms (Don't worry, each box still comes with the sticker of the character of your choice)! This was a hard decision to make, and was made based on our confidence to write in-character letters, as well as our desire to expand our reach to as many people as possible.

💗 We've also added the option to pay more for your box if you'd like, in order to fund more expensive items within the box! This isn't to say that our regular boxes will be dropping in quality, just that more budget will allow us to fund even BETTER stuff, like more official merch within the boxes!

There are lots of images in the listings now that explain each of these concepts a bit more (and we also made things like box sizing and potential contents more concise and easier to understand)!

If you have any additional questions that our listings don't answer, please don't hesitate to send a message to the Etsy for clarification!

okay so i just recalled a little murdoch mysteries fact that i feel like tumblr ought to know

so the show is camp as hell with using historical figures as cameos right? everything is kinda overly dramatic and at the very least a little ridiculous in how they intersect with the show considering it's set during the belle epoch? tesla, conan doyle, roosevelt, etc?

I just fucking remembered since they usually adjust for age/time, they had an Annie Oakly cameo where she's this absolute smokeshow of a gunslinging milf in her mid-thirties

The idea that Di Feisheng is a straightforward character who speaks his mind probably comes from the fact that we mostly see him interacting in a private space with Li Lianhua and Fang Duobing, which is misleading because, fine he does hide things from them as well, but overall, li xiangyi is such a blind spot for him, it’s always been special with li xiangyi…but with the jingyuan alliance? He probably has spoken close to zero true thought to his subordinates since forming the thing and no one knows what he’s rly thinking until the deed is done. If it wasnt like this maybe jiao liqiao would have realized earlier that he was gay
